Always appreciate this place. Clean, bakery is great, deli/meat/fish counter is great. They also have hot food to go that always looks so great and prices are pretty good too. Also dont forget the fresh squeezed juices!

There was such a sweet girl as cashier when I came to this store. I think her name was Erica. Long hair. So polite and pleasant. Some of others I must say not nice, but she was pleasant and respectful. Its always nice to have some interaction when checking out. Very nice!

I love the prices here, but the professionalism of their staff has taken a bad decline. One kid actually swore at me for bothering him to ask where I could find an item. Another, on a separate occasion pointed to the north half of the store and I had to say I dont see them She then turn around and told me it was around the corner of the next aisle.

Never have a bad experience at Aldi. Im pretty sure Aldi is the official sponsor of my adulthood lol doen to desk chairs. Dishes, food, laundry supplies, its become my favourite little one stop shop for the basic nessesities. Super grateful for how they operate and what they provide and Ive never been dissapointed.

Lots of great stuff here. Frozen food selection is good. They are pretty good about having everything stocked and not running out of things.

Security guard at the door sanitizing carts was very welcoming...Store was well stocked and clean(with the exception of HOT items right now because of COVID... Cant really fault them for that)...They have one way aisles to maintain social distancing...Staff was friendly as well...Overall pleased with my experience here...

Aldi is a good store but if a sign says you need a mask to enter a mask should be worn! Went to Aldi in Elgin today at 10:00 am. 4 customers were allowed in and shopped with no mask at all and 3 or four were wearing them on their chin! 2 employees hand mask on but nose not covered! Not happy about it! We wear masks not to just keep us safe but others safe too! This needs to be addressed ASAP! As Aldi has no phone to call to keep cost down... hope people read this and start carrying about one another during this crazy time. Again great store but just didn’t feel safe!

ALDI has been increasingly adding organic produce, meat, dairy products and, more! Great location, clean helpful staff. So bring your own bags or, buy them at the checkout. ( hopefully customers are aware that you bag your own groceries here). Not a bad idea, it cuts down on costs which saves you money!

The cashier there today 12-28-19 was a lil weird, I bought 1 case of 5 different items along with several boxes of (4 each) of different pastas & rice. I was told that from now on they need 24-48 hrs notice for large orders like that. I’ve been shopping at Aldis for 30 yrs and have NEVER EVER been asked to do anything like that ever. Is this a new policy ??? It’s not like I emptied the shelves of the items I bought cases of, nor the items of pasta. We won’t be shopping at the Elgin location anymore, I’ll go back to my home store where I’ve shopped for over 30 yrs

Store is clean, but basically caters to Hispanic people. We dont eat much Hispanic food. After they remodeled, they took away my favorites and replaced different items. They also raised up most of their prices substantially. For that, I can shop at a better grocery story, and have my items bagged for me. I dont find them to be a savings anymore.

The name says it all

I typically enjoy going to this Aldis. The employees are typically very kind hard-working and keep the store clean and produce fresh. This time at checkout I was quite turned off at the employee who was checking out the shoppers. The young mother in front of me with maybe a 9 month old baby and just a few things in her cart had to pay for her groceries with coins. The employee wasnt even sure if they were currency used in the United States so over the loudspeaker she requested assistance on knowing what a dollar coin was. It was clearly American currency. Well she was counting the money which were all primarily dollar coins she continued to ask the young mother what each coin was. Which I felt was quite rude because the young lady turned to using the coins because she didnt have enough money on her state funded food card which I only knew because the employee was very clear what the card was and how much money was on it. As the checkered finally completed counting the $9 in coins she told the young ladies she was $0.03 short the young lady didnt have any more money and that Id have to go to my vehicle the checkered then told her she would suspend the order and wait for her to come back for the $0.03 I was dumbfounded. I asked to check her please dont make her do that I have change right here and assisted the young lady she was quite thankful but didnt but she went through some embarrassment. I kind of wonder if some people feel the need to make other people feel small. Maybe a little class would have gone a lot further in this situation and made the store look better.

Remodeled store is wonderful. Especially helpful are the new signs indicating where every thing is. Much more helpful than wandering around the store looking for what you want. Also the store simply looks better than before.

Aldi is a nice place to shop. The produce is fresh, and some organic. The cashiers moved the lines pretty fast. Theres no frills and thrills like food sampling, and over head music. That makes it a pleasure to shop with my autistic child here. Thank you Aldi.

I dont like that the cashier throws my groceries back into the cart. If we did that where I worked, Costco, we would get fired.

Clean and consistent. The new store designs make the experience way more appealing. This store is definitely busy at peak times. Bring your list and familiarize yourself where your staple items are. Lines do form and you can easily be in line for 5 mins. The good news is that all the cashiers are quick and skilled.If youve never been, bring a quarter and your own bags.

They may not have as much parking as my old ones dead but they are updating their selection with quite a few interesting items in fact I actually found a nice soda there that I quite like I usually try to be unbiased about this but I mean come on its all day they deserve a lot more credit than their truly given whats the prices that they have in todays market I could end up buying twice as much stuff there is an I would have Meijer and Id still end up paying less respected items for Meijer. Usually would total me up 2:54 bucks I can get around half or less than that already for almost the exact same item

Very clean and organized. The old layout was awful and you had to travel around the whole store to get something you might have forgotten in the first aisle but no longer. The new format has a opening cut in the middle off the aisle so you can get to aisle one with ease. They even carry Almond milk creamer now for those of us that are lactose intolerant. I also see that they have a gluten free section for people with celiac disease.

What can I say about an Aldis? Pretty fair prices, helpful staff, NO LINES at ghd registers when I was in there at 645 PM on a FRIDAY! And they had all that I needed! Im happy!

Recently remodeled. Looks great. Having a hard time finding everything as I was used to the previous layout, but I do like the way the update looks.

Some stuff they dont have. I hope they have soon.

Love our new Aldi on Randall and route 20 in Elgin, IL. The aisle our easier to maneuver. The prices and quality are the best. I look forward to seeing weekly merchandise purchases. Produce is top notch. I have recently been buying fresh meat and love it. The fit and active products are very good. They also have money back guarantee. I never had to take anything back.

Love Aldis. Great prices and the best meat around. Pork chops and pork roast are so tender. Turkey Breasts are good too.Shop here at least 2x a week.

Since remodeling in 2017, this location has large aisles, an expanded produce section, and a better layout than pre-remodel. Its very clean and a quick store to get through. It gets kind of crowded on Saturdays and is quite cold throughout, not just by the freezer section

When you find the items you like you buy them again. The ones you dont like are usually horrible. Great value here in things you actually like.

Good prices, surprisingly high end cheeses. Not everything is great, but for a bare bones, discount grocery store, Aldi is hard to beat.

Most times the food is fresh and tasty, while being cheap. Just make sure you eat the berries you buy there the same or next day
