We worked with Precision Stone Design to create a custom outdoor fireplace and grill.  The entire team excellent in listening to our needs and helping us design the sub-structure, choose the appropriate material and work with our contractor to accommodate the special lighting requirement. We found Precision Stone Design online and decided to check them out for our bar/kitchen area in our basement. We went to the showroom where we started working with Tom. This is an update to an old review. And now they have five stars because the way they handled the pass review has made me update it to a five-star. Jaime and Javier were very incredibly, great installers, very clean, very professional, I cant say enough about those two guys. Hellen on the inside is absolutely great and worked hard to get it from a 1-star to a five-star. There was an issue with pricing but it was just a misunderstanding on my part. which then made me go in and give precision Stone a five stars, because of the way they handled it. Pricing is great, service is great, follow-through is great, it is really a nice company to work with. We used Precision Stone on recommendation from a friend. We are very happy with the process and the results. Maria was very helpful getting us our quote and the other staff were great when we went in to pick our slab. Ramon and his team were awesome during installation! Wish I had a pretty picture of the beautiful Café Latte stone, but were still under construction.

I cant say enough about Gina and the Precision Stone Design team. They were the only stone supplier that was actually completely transparent about pricing (per square foot). They have an outstanding selection and extremely competitive pricing. The warehouse is amazing and they all are so knowledgeable (and honest) about what stones work best for your family, etc. Additionally, we had a wonderful experience with measuring, install, follow ups, etc. The stone is gorgeous and their customer service is second-to-none. I had an excellent experience from start to finish with Precision Stone. By being detailed orientated, they caught an expensive mistake on my part with their knowledge the stone I saw elsewhere was changed by the manufacturer. Curiously was not caught from the place I originally saw it. They helped pick out a beautiful stone and kitchen looks beautiful!

As part of a large home renovation, we did a shower using reclaimed quartz, and it came out beautifully. Precision was the only place nearby that had the color we wanted in stock. We were so happy with the outcome that we asked Precision to do our entire kitchen. Not only did they do an immaculate job, but they nailed it with some of the tricky angles that we thought would give us trouble. We were stunned at how seamless the final result was. They even did a last-minute trim when we decide to shorten the depth of the bar. The total cost was lower than every other quote we got. And the results are breathtaking. Gorgeous Berwyn quartz with double Ogee edging throughout... it still looks brand new over two years later. We worked with Hellen on both the shower and the kitchen, and she was such a pleasure to work with. The installers were on time, very professional, and accommodating, especially given the amount of other work going on at the same time. I think its safe to say that out of the entire home renovation that we did, Precisions part was the easiest on us... and you know how much effort goes into making a customer experience easy. We went with quartz countertops for our kitchen. Their prices are attractive and have good varieties. To be honest, I initially had a hiccup with the dates of installation. But Precision stone design reached out to me and went above and beyond to set things right. The installation is now done, and my wife and I love the countertops. No one had anything more beautiful than these unique slabs. I worked with Gina who was absolutely great to work with. We had many difficult issues, they handled them all with such skill. We call Juan the seam whisperer . His seams are barely visible. Vish was also a great help with the installation & design. 12/28/2017I contracted Precision Stone for new kitchen countertops. I obtained multiple quotes for quartz and they were the most competitive by far. I worked with Jaci and she was very nice and thorough as she walked me through the process. She talked me out of purchasing my own over mount black sink explaining that an under mount sink was a desired style and better for resale value. She explained that they had a special going and that they would provide said stainless under mount sink free of charge. She also curtly answered all emails and returned all calls. Later in the week I went in to pay and she showed me different layouts on her computer and I even got a small tour of their shop! The installation team was great. There was an issue with the back splash and this gentleman called the shop and had a new piece cut, delivered and installed same day free of charge. Overall a positive experience with a great product at a fair price. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their homes.

She proved to be very knowledgeable about the products and worked with us to narrow down our choices of materials. We looked through granite, soapstone, quartz, and more. We are absolutely thrilled with our new counter tops from Precision Stone Design! From selecting the materials, through design and installation the customer service and professionalism have been second to none. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Precision Stone really came through for us. Gina is one of the best business owners/contractors weve ever dealt with. We built a new house in 2018 and we used Precision for all our quartz. Along the way we had several issues, as everyone does when building a new home. The biggest of which was on a 15 foot angled island. It required two separate slabs of 8 x 4 quartz. Unfortunately, when they laid the two slabs of Marabella, the colors were slightly off. One side was darker than the other. Gina worked with us to get it right in the end. She is very fair and will do whatever it takes within reason to make you happy. There were also several other small issues that were handled in a very pro-customer way. In addition, weeks after completion, she arranged to have a professional cleaner come to the house to share the best ways to clean and keep our quartz looking great. This went above and beyond what most businesses would have done on our behalf. DO NOT HESITATE to use them. In fact, do not use anyone else. You will be happy with Precision - Gina will make sure of it!

Precision Stone Design exceeded my expectations. Another design studio reviewed my project, determined that I would need more than one slab and basically said to me that paying for two full slabs would be cost-prohibitive. PSD had three full slabs of the quartz I preferred in stock and didn’t charge me for the full second slab. They came out to my house and measured the dimensions (including the curvature in the wall and around a small piece of moulding) with a laser. All matched perfectly when the professional installation team arrived with the finished product.

We recently renovated a bathroom and I found Precision Stone Design through an online search. I was looking to stay within a specific budget and it seemed that Precision Stone Design could help me do that. I began working with Tom and he was very helpful in identifying options in my budget that fit the design I was looking to achieve. (Its worth noting that my visit to the design studio felt very safe and clean during the pandemic and everyone was following mask and distance protocols.) The delivery date I needed was several weeks out and that was not a problem either. Tom and I stayed in contact and once we knew when the cabinet would be in, we were able to schedule a prompt measurement and install date. A few weeks before the install date, we developed an unrelated issue with our undermount kitchen sink. It pulled away from our countertop after I accidently dropped a watermelon in the sink. I called a plumber, but he said that I needed a countertop company to fix that. Even though Precision Stone Design was not the vendor we used for our kitchen countertops 8 years earlier, I contacted Tom to see if they could help repair the sink since they were going to be here anyway for the bathroom. Tom was very responsive to helping us with that repair. The gentleman who came to measure the bathroom looked at our kitchen sink as well to determine what the repair would entail. It turned out that the sink was never installed properly by the other vendor, but he said it wouldnt be an issue for Precision to repair it. On the day of the bathroom install and kitchen repair, the three gentlemen who came were so nice and professional! The bathroom install went without a hitch and they took the time to really fix our issues with the kitchen sink. They removed the kitchen sink completely, scraped all of the old adhesive from underneath the countertop, and then properly installed the kitchen sink. The overall price for the bathroom and repair were reasonable and fair. I was so happy to have been working with Precision Stone Design when this all happened. While we are done renovating our house now, I would recommend Precision Stone Decision in a heartbeat for anyone who is looking to any kind of countertop project, big or small!

I worked with Tom on my last project and it was a breeze. very efficient facilitation the quoting process was smooth and without surprises. A sales rep Tom approached us, got some of the background on what we were looking for and showed us everything based on our preferences. Because we were looking for Quartz he could not show us full slabs, however he was happy to arrange for us to go to a local company to see full slabs. Sales person was very knowledgeable and eager to help also with giving us space to discuss among ourselves.We came here based on referrals from friends and family and we were not disappointed. Price was reasonable. Our measuring guy showed up 45 minutes early! And our install showed up an hour early? Who does that? Was very happy to not be waiting around for hours wondering when they would be showing up. They called to set the expectation and had the counters installed very quickly. They took extra steps during install to make sure everything fit perfect and answered all questions promptly.Overall a very good experience and will recommend to anyone seeking quality counter tops.

Tom at Precision Stone Design did an amazing job for us with our new kitchen. He helped us pick out the stone we were looking for and gave us some great advice about the correct stone for our situation. In remodeling our kitchen he also went above and beyond by helping us find a way to get rid of our current counter tops and get them over to my sisters so that she could use them.Regarding the installation, it went amazing. The installers were very courteous, professional and precise. You cant even see the seams in our counters, and we have a 12 1/2 island. Everything was left clean as if they were never there. Precision completed a quartz and granite install for my house over a period of 2 months. While there were issues here and there along the way, they corrected the problems and righted the situation appropriately. During the planning for our kitchen remodel, we shopped around at many of the big granite wholesalers in Elk Grove Village. this took a couple weekends. then we were able to get quotes from a few fabricators for the granite we selected. Another week went by. We found Precision Stone Design on-line and decided to stop in to see what they could offer. We were pleased to find they are an all-in-one granite supplier and fabricator. They had the granite we wanted and their final price with fabrication and installation was better then all the rest. We left after one visit with a what we wanted at the price we wanted. We could have saved a couple weekends of shopping if we had gone to Precision Stone Design first.When the installation of our new cabinet bases was delayed, Precision Stone Design quickly rescheduled our measurement and installation appointments. Their in-house crew that came for the installation was courteous and efficient.Unfortunately, after the installation was completed, we discovered an error in the edge style on the island surface. It was too late to replace the surface and keep the already delayed project on our time schedule. Errors can happen and Precision Stone Design graciously acknowledged their error and provided us with an acceptable reimbursement.The Customer Service at Precision Stone Design is top notch. We definitely recommend them and will return for our future tile back splash work.

After shopping a few different companies we chose Precision for their fair pricing and expertise in the industry. Our sales rep was very helpful and made great suggestions. I looked at the box stores but ended up buying at precision stone. I felt precision stone had a wider, more colorful choice than box stores. They were knowledgeable which is important. Mostly I was worried about a seam cut in quartz. I wanted to know that the people I was buying from had a good reputation on seams. They did the job as expected, I was always informed, no surprises. My quartz counter looks very nice, and job well done on edges and around sink. I would recommend them if youre looking for quality.

I just installed new kitchen counters. I chose quartz and they look amazing. Tom helped with the design and orchestrated the install. He was very responsive and knowledgeable. The installers were top notch as well. This is the second project Ive done with them and would recommend them to anyone.

Love our new Quartz counter. This was our 3rd counter we had Precision Stone do for us. We saved our largest and most difficult one for last. First I need to to tell you that Dearius was our contact. I cant say sales rep because that would imply that all he did was sell us the stone and that was not the case. His knowledge, suggestions and follow up really gave us confidence in this project. It took the guys 2 days to do the install. Normally it would only take one, but we have a backslpash on the walls and after putting in the counter they had to remeasure the walls before installing the small splash to make sure there were no large gaps. They took them back to the shop, trimmed and polished them and came back a week later to install them. (this was process was explained to us from the start so there it was not a surprise). I couldnt be more pleased with the service at Precision Stone Design. The stone surround for our fireplace turned out great. Gina was so wonderful to work with. When we needed our order to be expedited due to a timing issue with our contractor, Gina went above and beyond to rush the order. She didnt have to do this, which says a lot about the high value they place on an excellent customer service experience. I would highly recommend this company not only for their high quality products but for the impressive ownership.

Precision Stone Design was fantastic!! My fiance and I were thrilled that we decided to use them for our new kitchen counters! They consistently responded to any inquiry we had in a timely fashion. Everyone that we interacted with were professional and polite and eager to help. They arrived when they said they would for both the estimate and for the installation. From start to finish Precision Stone was awesome. Our salesmen Jeevan was very attentive to our needs. He took his time with us never rushed and met every request we had. The selection of materials was great, we were able to walk the warehouse and view slabs to pick what we liked, everything under one roof no extra travel. The installation crew was top notch, very professional and worked to make everything perfect for us.

Rating is based off the shopping experience. We dont have counters from them. Maria was very professional and listened to our needs and wants. Her suggestions for product were in line with what we wanted. Their prices are high, but they carry high end materials. We have a few more quotes coming. I will update this if we choose to go with them.

Precision Stone Design was great! I worked with Tom and had a very smooth process. I wanted a kind of granite that they didnt have in stock but they were able to procure it within a few days. The installation went great and the new counter tops are awesome! Highly recommended

We purchased our granite kitchen counters from Precision Stone back in May. I could not be happier with the experience! The sales-girl, Jaci, was super nice through the whole process, and helped me greatly in choosing a color for my stone. I was on a bit of a time crunch to get the counters installed, and Precision was able to get me from material selection to installation all within a weeks time. The installers were knowledgeable, quick moving and polite. The counters are gleaming and beautiful. We enjoy using our counters every day and our kitchen space looks amazing!

Tom @ Precision Stone was an amazing resource when shopping for our new stone. He was very knowledgeable on the products both in stock, and those currently on back order. He was always in communication with us regarding the status of our order, and was eager to answer any questions we had.I have kept his card for all of our future stone needs. Minus some misunderstanding and mishap, I would have provided 5 stars. Gina got on top of it all to get what we wanted and done right. Granite turned out immaculate and the customer service was great. The price was also a plus because other places couldnt come close to what Precision Stone offered. Because of Ginas great customer service I would recommend this place.

Our Quartz backsplash project ended with this company. Precision Stone found the product and in the thickness we wanted. The measurements taken at our house were perfect. Sales adapted to our schedule on multiple occasions and the final installation was flawless Terrific job.

We love the end product and how it all turned out! Tom and his crew (measurement and installation) were awesome - rom the beginning to end we had an ideal experience. They were very communicative, explaining everything we should expect and how best to take care of our beautiful new marble counters. All appointments they arrived on time and finished quickly. I paid top dollar for granite counter tops (full slab) for my kitchen. One month later had granite installed in two baths but chose local company for better pricing. During installation owner pointed out (3) negatives that Precision used to cut costs and make more money off of my purchase: 1) pieces were taken from smaller slabs (remnants) and that was why grain did NOT come close to matching in two prominent spots. 2) workmanship of counter-tops and backslash seams was shoddy 3) could not understand why my backslashes were in 3 and 4 pieces making for multiple, cheap looking unnecessary seams (Precision cutting costs of course!). Never Again!!!
