I had a package diverted here as no one would be home to sign for it. However, when trying to pick up— my package was no where to be found. Apparently they sent it to USPS “unintentionally.” Item was very valuable, and can’t imagine how it could be lost. Not to mention the fact that it’s Friday at 7pm & they said there’s nothing that can be done at this point. William the manager isn’t so helpful right now. DONT SEND YOUR PACKAGES HERE.
Fraud and not reliable store, took my 25 lb Pkg this morning charge me and gave me shiping label and charge 1$ extra to just extra tape it which I was ok to paid full price, after whole day gone, got call that your box is not acceptable so ether pay 24$ more to use our box or take your pkg back . it was big hassle to go twice there, wasted my time and gas and whole day of shiping passed and it was an important delivery and lost one full dayjust because of an assistant manager who accept this pkg and make shiping label and he didt know at that time that if this pkg is acceptable or not, now I have to and instead of apology they are so rude and show there attitude i would not go there and i will write this to ups corporate office too .
Owner of this store is not honest. I had a item taken from its package during shipping. There coverage is worthless he will not honor it. Said I have to prove it was in the box but they never ask to see whats in the box when it was shipped. Spoke to him on the 5th of Dec he told me he would file my claim and never did. Now he says he will not deal with this problem. Never use this store!!Update today 01/04/21 he filed the claim this morning over 3 weeks from when he said he would.
The employees at this location are absolutely the best. Been using this store for my mail for over 3 years and if I ever had a problem, which is rare, it was always taken care of immediately. They always know our names and box number when my son or I enter. Kudos to the owner/manager for outstanding training.
Came in for a fingerprinting appointment. When I scheduled the appointment the confirmation said print and bring appointment confirmation or bring cell phone with confirmation email. Staff would not honor my appointment unless I printed the one page with them, and they charged $4 dollars to print one page, even though my confirmation said cell phone with confirmation email. Also, they advertise fingerprinting services for $15 but charge over $75 once you get to your appointment.
Customers BEWARE of this UPS location, it has now decided to charge you $5.00 dollars a day for package over 12 inches in length that is shipped to your pre-paid mailbox. That is not including the shipping fees you already paid on the item you ordered to get it there. This owner is simply trying to get every dime out of its customers there.
1040 Store sucks. Lack of training. Not good at international mailings. Prejudice to people walking in, I was charged for something the person in front of me wasn’t. THIS IS A FRANCHISE and the owner knows that people use it for convenience but going to the other ones in Elk Grove are more professional and welcoming. So disappointed I came here.
Joey is VIP. I explained what happened from a different UPS location and he took care of my Amazon return 100%. He also took the time to educate me more about their policies and procedures. That’s customer service at its finest. Thank you Joey!
Very bad service dishonest try to charge 30 dollars for a box
Dropped off a few packages today and the worker Aaron A was awesome. He was pleasant, helpful, and had the best customer service personality I have seen in many many years. This guy is great!!! I wish there were more people in this world like him. Where has all the personal customer service people gone? Great job Aaron!!!
Dropped off a package this morning. The worker, Aaron A, was fantastic. Sure, it is easy to take a box from a customer, but Aarons pleasantness really was notable. The dude even opened the front door for me when he saw me approaching.

I went in to drop of 4 boxes which already had UPS tracking labels since we do have a UPS account. I saw the UPS truck still outside. I walked in and asked the UPS driver if I can just hand him the 4 boxes. There were 2 UPS store employees sitting as well on their phones. The UPS driver just looked at me and did not say a word. I repeated myself, and finally one of the UPS store employees acknowledge me and said I needed to bring it in to get scanned. I told him that I already have our own UPS scan labels, and the boxes did not need it. He said no it needed to be scanned. The UPS driver and the 2 male employees watch me, a 53 year old Asian decent female bring all the boxes in to be scanned. Any boxes brought in to any UPS store which already have your UPS Account Scan does not need to be SCANNED at all. What did I ever do to deserve such a treatment. I felt very discriminated and prejudiced. I am an American, though I have a different skin and color and eyes. I am human and work hard just like you. If UPS stores have this practice anywhere else, then I hope a State or Goverment agencies looked into it. This should not be tolerated.
Great customer service. Every time I’ve gone in, the staff have been friendly and helpful.I drive across town to use this store, because I’ve witnessed a staff at the one by Lowe’s mistreat people of color. (FYI I’m Caucasian)
I used to have a mailbox at the Waterman Plaza store until the place changed hands and the new owner was basically insane. Check out their Yelp page for specifics. FTR, that owner only lasted a few months and the new owners reached out to all the customers that the crazy drove away and offered me several months free to return. Perhaps I will return when my box rental is up but only because the Waterman Plaza location is just a couple blocks away and just incredibly convenient. However, I am very, very impressed with the EG Blvd location. There are always numerous employees ready to help and I can get in and get out very quickly. They are all very friendly and helpful. They’ve even offered to help me carry my packages out to the car on several occasions. So far I’ve only received mail at the store but I’ve seen the employees helping other customers with a variety of services and they seem very knowledgeable. The only drawback is the location of the store. As I said, the other store is closer to me and that’s just personal preference, but, it’s on a busy street so it can take a long time to get the chance to turn into the shopping center so I turn in at the light by the Taco Bell and go in through the back way which is faster than waiting through traffic but still a little winding. If you’re looking for a place to send and receive mail I definitely recommend this one.
It’s super irritating that the UPS store closest to me has decided to charge for packaging tape. Especially when only a few of the employees follow the new rules, and I generally only bring in returns where shipping is pre-paid. I’ll be taking my shipments elsewhere, with better customer service.
Most of these guys know exactly what theyre doing. Most of them are lightning fast. They deserve a tip jar. The only time you wait is when there are other customers that they are helping.
This is the best UPS store I have ever dealt with, the owner Greg is great and he has an outstanding staff. Aaron and Sam are always so helpful and never make you feel like you are an imposition... Thanks so much and keep up the great work !! Chris Archondous
Absolutely rediculous I had to pay $1 for a 6 piece of tape to secure my return package to Amazon. Money hungry thats for sure.
This store charges fees that others dont. I had a pre-paid UPS packing lable that they were trying to charge me $3.50 for using. Go to 9328 Elk Grove Blvd Ste 105 instead. They charged no fee and let me drop off the box and leave.

Came into get a DOJ background check I needed for a work visa in China. The price listed on the DOJ site wasnt bad, but I was charged a higher price once I was ready to pay. What could I do? Not only that, but the technician accidentally supplied me with the wrong form (in spite of my clear written and verbal request) resulting in the wrong report and a one week delay for me. I called the store and was told that they made an error and would take care of it for no extra charge. When I drove the 40 miles to have their error corrected, the owner was there and told me (after making me wait for some while) that he would not honor the promise and I would have to pay again. He made it clear that he couldnt care less that I was out my time and $60. There are plenty of other options and I recommend any of them over this place.

Went into store to send out a package. Wasnt greeted or not a smile from any employee in store. Shipped out a 2.3lbs package with my provided box and charged me $16 to ship. What a rip off!!! For that little of a package should be at least half that.
