I brought in a 2008 Volkswagen Golf GTI in need of some tires and I got a great deal on them. I was working with Todd and was satisfied with his work. I also had them replace my oil and filter, I brought in my own parts and they were fine with it. I got a great deal over all. Good customer service. No complaints. I also had my brother bring in his 2003 Infiniti G35 for some rear tire replacements and had awesome pricing and had tons of selections in stock. Will be coming back to work more with Todds team. 5/5 stars for me

Awful customer service! I have been to this place several times now and have yet to actually get service. They leave customers at the counter for very long times and seem to have poor communication between employees. From what I have seen, about 50% of people who are in line actually get service done on their vehicle.4 people lined up at 8am for car service, 2 get service and 2 leave. How can an oil change take two hours when you are there when the business opens? They just dont care. It is a shame because they would have the cheapest oil change in town if anyone was able to actually get one...

If I could give a zero star rating I would I was very disappointed. To start out with I went in for an oil change. They did not have my oil filter and suggested I go to the auto place next door after calling them to get one. So after walking there and picking it up and spending over $6 on a filter that was supposed to be provided in their services I walked back. They gave me a $2 reduction for “brining in my own filter” when it was supposed to have been included in their package. Again very disappointed I had to pay for the new filter and was then told that my oil was leaking when it didn’t in the past.

The manager Jacob is a great guy. I came in for some tires and they only had one type of the size I needed, but advertised to have others of the type available. He made things better by giving me a discount on the one type they did have. Good customer service 👍🏻

Got the exact tires I wanted at a better price than anywhere else I could find. Mounting price was reasonable and old tire disposal price beats anywhere else Ive ever gone.

DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION!! THEY QUOTE YOU ONE PRICE, THEN AT CHECKOUT ADD EXTRA FEES THAT WAS NEVER MENTIONED PRIOR TO SERVICE! WE ASKED ABOUTPRICING OVER THE PHONE AND IN PERSON!! It was the first blizzard of the year pulled into Walmart to buy some new windshield wipers and it took 2 hrs we thought it would make the blizzard more mild nope it didnt and see Im handicapped and in a wheel chair well it was so bad out I couldnt even remove the old wipers so we pulled around to automotive and my wife went in and asked if anyone could help us well the young clerk hi tailled it out of there but there was a man in his 50soffered to help. Thank you again JEFF we think we are still coming with that pack he saved our BUTTS that day

I got shuffled around a few times from 3 different employees, just to drop off my keys.

Be very cautious going to any Walmart auto care if you do not know the service technicians personally you are better off to go to a real service station. If they screw anything up they will make sure they are not liable even though they were the ones that broke things. Since I had a run-in with this I always go to smaller shops to have things done when i am too lazy or it is too cold out

How do you get ahold of someone. I called twice today and three times yesterday with no answer. Even when they transfer me. No one answers

They are usually booked out on appointments a week from your inquiry. Walk-ins are welcome, however you may not get service because the staff are spread thin. I saw many people told it would be several hours to get service if there were an opening. I pre-ordered and paid for four tires a week prior and had to make an appointment for the following week. If you dont pick up @ the seventh day, they usually refund your purchase automatically and ship it back to the warehouse. While I made the appointment I asked to make sure the tires didnt get refunded and sent back, yet when I arrived for my appointment they couldnt dispense the tires. Guess why? They were going through the refund process. It took about 2 hours for my tires to get done including the hiccup and the tire replacement. Otherwise it was good service.

Usually there helpful and willing to try and fit you in n if there busy I usually try calling first to ? Ake sure its worth the trip a must the first few weeks of winter and spring

This place is an absolute disaster. I called before going an was put on hold and forgotten. Then we went in and stood in line while people who worked there seemed to have no concept of customer service. We signed in and no one seemed to know how long it would take before we would get in for our oil change. When we came back from shopping we were told at least another hour, then we were told our vehicle was in. We looked and we were not in so they had no idea which vehicle was even ours. No apology for our wait. And they left our vehicle unlocked out in the parking lot. I would recommend NEVER going there

Here’s the deal... don’t even begin your business here. Being understaffed is one thing, but being understaffed and SEVERELY undertrained is another. If you’re in store you can witness service reps blatantly ignoring the phone. If you’ve managed to even get your car started with these guys you certainly won’t have it done when promised. You can literally find yourself waiting for an hour in line before a rep even starts TALKING to you as they are usually handling a problem they’ve created. Couldn’t find my tires. Couldn’t get a manager over there to do some override for over half an hour, all the while 4 people behind me were not helped one bit. Seriously. Listen to these other warnings. There is maybe one person amongst the circus that might have a clue but they’re likely on break.

Never do an oil change here. There was only one car ahead of me. I have been waiting for 2 and a half+ hours for my car to be done. It only takes about 15-20 minutes to do an oil change! I had a half hour wait before my car was able to get in. This is BS. I would do zero stars, but i cant.

Brought my Jeep in for 4 new tires. Left with only 3 tires installed, (paid for 4, had to bring the 4th to another shop) said they couldnt touch a tire since it was missing a lug nut. But I do give them credit for being talented enough to break all 4 center caps on my tires. Unbelievable...

Get my tires here, good prices, especially if you order them online and pick them up and install at the store.

This will be the last time I bring any vehicle to the Walmart Auto Center in Elk River. Brought my Honda Civic for an oil change to find out they broke the skid plate. How does one do that?? Are your employees not trained properly? What a disappointment!!!

Went in to get a new battery. No one ahead of us and it should have been quick. Came back 1/2 hour and it still wasnt done. They tell me there are 2 vehicles ahead of us and it would be 1/2 until it got in. Never going there again. Got the battery and replaced it myself

Why would anyone come to this shi* show. Its nothing but a bunch of clowns working here. Bring in a Wal-Mart battery for warranty....They had to try and charge it. Seriously? Wheres the battery testers that tell them instantly? Oh wait, its too difficult to get their employees that read at a third grade level to read a simple digital tool. They have to have a machine take 90 minutes to tell them. None of them have certifications past their High school auto class.Save your self time and money and go to a reputable auto parts store that can check batteries in mere seconds. This place is just a serious laughing joke.

Yea.... Express my ass...Came in for an oil change with one car ahead of us that was just being taken care of. Walk in to get some quick shipping done as well while we waited.over an hour later and they tell us itll be a half hour as somehow there was a different car ahead of us getting an oil change even though when we came in aside from the car ahead of us we were the only ones here. Another 45 mi. Later we are back waiting for it still to be done?! 2 + hours for an oil change?!?! Unbelieveable. Among other things that were irksome!!! NEVER will I come back and I suggest no one come in the first place.

Julie was a joy to work with I see her all the time at Walmart running around helping everyone, she even made me some coffee, on a -14°Sunday morning, Im just saying thanks Julie and auto shop people for a quick job.

I came in for an oil change on my wifes Buick Enclave & it was a 3 hour wait. After 2 hours of waiting i was told they didnt have the synthetic oil on hand and i would pay 10$ ectra for bottle oil. When i asked what other options i had i was told i could go elsewhere. Very poor service.

I bought two tires from Wal-Mart in Elk River which they mounted. Less than a month later my van shook terribly when I would drive over 60mph. I called Wal-Mart tire and they said I could stop by since they dont do appointments. I went there FOUR times and still could not be seen since each time they were too busy and understaffed. I will never buy tires from them or have auto work done by Wal-Mart ever again!!

Long wait time and could schedule an appointment because Im not getting new tires why have an auto center if you cant make an appointment Im not leaving my car in a dimly lit place where I dont know if cameras are working or not Ive done with going to Walmart why is the ones down south better and faster at the auto center

I was told my 13 year old vehicle needed semi-synthetic oil as it was Walmart policy. That was a complete lie, my vehicle has always used conventional oil and I had the oil changed at this very same service center a year earlier and they had used conventional oil.It was an unnecessary up charge (scam) and I should have walked away. They cant even be trusted to perform a simple oil change, I will never go back there.

Over 4 hour wait for tire rotation and oil change. Then my tires constantly go flat once they rotated them. I took them in and they wanted to charge me an additional 40.00 to take them off and look at them . I didn’t have an issue with them going flat before they touched them. Also they never put the valve stem covers back on. Extremely lazy staff . Very poor service

This place is a certified circus act, numerous calls just to find out if they had a certain size tire on hand and they couldnt answer it. I never knew that a 205-70-15 tire would be so difficult to find but maybe if they would answer their phone once in a while it might help. I wouldnt trust this level of incompetence working on my car.......or a big wheel. They get 1 star only because Google requires at least one.

Kind of hectic but good overall

So my tires didnt make it through the tread warranty and I had a second opinion from two different places saying they should replace my tire because of the bulge in it. I researched all the warranty guidelines and dealt with an inexperienced, young manager. He was not helpful both of the times I came in and I dont think he knew what he was talking about. You should hire a more experienced manager.

I showed up at 4:30 for a 4:45 appt. It is 7:30 and I havent heard anything in an hour.

I bought two tires to have mounted on wheels I carried in. I waited for five and a half hours to get them mounted. This is the last place I will go in the future for any auto service. Many other customers complained of waiting in excess of four hours as I waited.

Twice I have called and walked in asking for wait times. Once was 5HOURS!!!!!! And another was 4HOURS!!! Even afer checking the busy rating chart. How do they even stay open?

Horrible customer service, no leadship, they make up rules as they go so they dont have to do any work. Worst customer service ever!!!!!!!

Waited a half an hour in my car for them to finally come tell me to move cause there were 2 people in front of me waiting for an oil change. Then they said it would be a 2 hour wait! To do 2 oil changes?! Wow. I left and wont be coming back. Next time you see someone waiting in their car for an oil change, at least go have the courtesy to go and tell them this info instead of waiting 30 minuets before telling them.

There are no appointments therefore one has to be there as early as 7:00am. They are under staffed so wait times can be long.

Took over 5 hours just to change tires. Also had a rusty lug/stud and said if they broke it they wouldnt replace it. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THROUGH HERE.
