This was the best experience! I am a 1st time buyer and I was very nervous. I didnt want to get hounded or pressured into something I didnt want or need. I had the great honor to work with Casey. He was AMAZING he was so patient with me and gave me great advice on all the cars I looked at. He made me feel so comfortable and at ease. It was like an old friend was helping me out. Scheduled my appointment. For 830 am dropped of my truck for a check engine light. Stopped back in at 130 to find out how my truck was going. Was told that they had to keep my truck over the weekend to finish the warranty work. Which was a replacing the fuel evap canister vent. Why did I have to schedule the visit if they didnt start off with the diagnosis of my truck. So I would know ahead of time what was going on. If you had other work going on what is the point of having those times available. Plus there was no phone call. Do not recommend using there service department

Friendly for sure, however I feel unsatisfied with the lack of help trying to get financing on a vehicle. There was no going out of the way to help out and make sure we were happy customers. I dont feel that this is a dealership I would recommend. Based solely on the help received.

Contacted George through online sales Thursday night and he promptly responded Friday morning. When I arrived I was greeted by Jacob. Jacob was super helpful amd super friendly. I received help from Casey Pharis when I had called in originally, turns out the online system wasn’t working properly. I was coming into Elko from out of town and was in a bind, needing a vehicle. Casey went above and beyond when assisting me. One of the best Sales Representatives I have ever dealt with. He ran numbers without hesitation, went through every possibility within my price range. He attempted to give me the best deal he could. Not only did he give me a good deal with what I had at the time financially, but he also was able to go through the vehicles he had the best he could while allowing me to take time looking through them. He did not rush me, did not try and push any vehicle on me, and did take time going back and forth getting vehicles for me to look at without getting annoyed or hesitating. Rachel (Finance Manager and Assistant Sales Manager) did a great job getting with the banks and getting numbers for me in a very fast and timely manner ON A SATURDAY. Getting anything done on a Saturday at a Business has ALWAYS been a Battle for me to get anything done on a Weekend at a business with these types of services. They were able to get my new vehicle detailed AND had auto body work done same day! These two were very on top of their game. For anyone wanting a fantastic car-buying experience, I would recommend going to Riverton Elko GM Superstore. I happened to visit the Riverton Elko website and saw a truck in transit that I wanted. I called and spoke with CK and told him I would like to come buy it the next day or the day after. He assured me that it was mine. I came in and CK had everything ready. Rachel discussed the various extended warranties with me and we completed the financial portion. She was very proficient in her job and efficient in how she did it. The truck was delivered to my house yesterday. The driver was very friendly and courteous. All around, a great experience. Quick and painless.

Did not set my TPMS sensor like I asked. Was told it can’t be done, which is a lie. I asked the service department to set the tire psi at the minimum pressure to prevent the TPMS sensor lights for coming on. Tires were set to max inflation. I had to correct the issue myself. And now will have to take my truck elsewhere to set the sensors at a lower psi threshold. I spoke to someone in service prior to my scheduled appointment and was assured there would be no issue doing what I asked. Staff was kind and courteous

They where understanding, very nice and helpful. They worked with us to get the loan and better interest rate. The things I would have like to seen is to give the customer a full tank of gas. 2nd to make sure there is a owners manual and explain how some of the things work. To tell them if there are any problems with the new or used vehicle. This would increase your cost, but it would bring customers back and more word of mouth customers.It was such a pleasure we will be back to buy again and will tell our friends. Casey was my salesman, I messaged him on Facebook Thursday morning about a truck that didnt have pics online, within 5 minutes he was at the vehicle, sending me pics and videos, and had me set up to come on my lunch break for a test drive. He put in a lot of work to make sure I was getting the deal I wanted and he never once tried to tell me he couldnt make it happen. Casey kept me up to date every step of the way while I was at work. He put me in a beautiful truck and the team at Riverton somehow managed to pull off the monthly payment I wanted with the best interest rate Ive ever had. The worst ever, we dropped truck off was told a week then another week going on week 3 still waiting. When we call our service rep Amber is always unavailable. When she calls she does not leave a message. When she says she will call back the next day ...nope no call .The most unprofessional dealership service I have ever experienced. If we were not 3000 miles from home and kinda in this now I would never choose this place.

Took a lady friend to this dealership to buy a used car although it took a while for her to do so they finally came through and she was able to pay cash for the vehicle.However the wire transfer from her bank to the Dealerships Bank was lost by the dealerships Bank for four days; in the end was sent back to her bank. They finally agreed to accept her check which they refuse to do at the beginning of the transaction. All of this of course was documented in emails and state of Nevada is single party knowledge of recording telephone conversations, is legal under the state law.

Worst dealership EVER. Do not take your vehicle here to be serviced. Unless you like waiting and waiting and waiting, or the fact it was ready the day before but no call. So you go there and now its ready and it takes them over 2 hrs to bring it to you, or how they want to up sale you on EVERYTHING. YOU ARE MUCH Better off going down the road to Gallagher Ford where they treat you very good...Riverton GMC SUCKS

The service department here is horrible. I wont even take my vehicle here for recall repairs. The labor rate is over $150/hrs they bill hours that take longer than reasonably expected and dont have your vehicle ready in the time promised.

I dropped off the truck at 7am and the appointment was for 830am to do a seatbelt recall repair. I was told it would be a quick fix. By 12 noon I hadnt heard anything so I called and they couldnt give me an update at that time. I asked them to call me with the update. By 3 pm I hadnt heard from them so I called and asked again and they still didnt know anything. I requested to speak with the service manager and she told me the repair was completed and that the truck would be out front waiting for pickup. When I arrived to pick up the truck it still wasnt done even after I was told it was. Then she admitted to me that the tech assigned to the work didnt do anything on the job because the parts didnt color match and the tech knew this in the morning but never reported it until he was confronted. (sounds like they ordered the wrong parts). I had lost my patience so much at this point that I had to get very mad with them to do anything or give me any info. When the service dept. told me it was finally done, just before closing time, they ended up pulling the parts off another customers truck to put on mine, leaving me with doubts that the recall issue was even repaired correctly, but I needed my work truck back. So, after having an appointment set for this recall repair for over a week prior, it still took all day to get my truck repaired for a simple seat belt retractor assembly. Extremely poor customer service and inexcusable disorganization in my opinion. They really deserve a rating less than one star.

Have patience, it is worth it in the end. This place was so busy on Black Friday but we had every intent on getting a newer vehicle. Love the customer service, everyone was very nice. Sales Rep was thorough and straight to the point, no BS, I loved that. Thank you so much Mike our Acadia was smooth riding home and I love it!! Riverton Elko Chevrolet was great. Helped me with an awful situation and was able to get me on my way with a rental car and my truck repaired by the time I was to get back home. My brand new truck lost Lifters at 6,000 miles which is unacceptable for a new truck. I bought this truck to do road trips, the most important one is to Baja in September and now I am very worried as Chevy would not let Riverton replace both sides. I am scared to drive into Baja with the feeling that the other side could go out too. First time buying a Chevy, should have kept my Ford.

Driving a 2010 Sierra 1500 hybrid crew cab (6.0 vortec) from Illinois to California. This was my first time driving the vehicle. I saw low oil pressure early Saturday morning coming into Elko and pulled into town. Added oil and made an appointment online for Monday morning as I was concerned about the oil consumption.Lisa the service representative said their technicians would check into the low oil pressure and check engine light. Communications and feedback were excellent and the service team reported back to me at every step of the service check.Oil level was verified ok and check engine codes were deemed ok and cleared.Lisa asked if I would like an outstanding safety recall to be performed and I agreed.Vehicle was ready within a couple of hours and I made it safely to my destination.Overall I was very satisfied with the service received and it gave me the confidence to complete my journey.

Actually took my 2021 Tahoe in on February 8, 2021 it is still in the shop for he check engine light issue that I reported in December 2020.I purchased my 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe on September 15, 2020.On 9/15/20, while driving home the Service Restraint System light came on my 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe.I took my 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe to Riverton-Elko GM Superstore for the repair of the Restraint System light on the following dates:September 22, 2020; October 22, 2020, and November 19 & 20, 2020. On the November visit, they were finally able to complete the repair.On December 22, 2020 Check Engine light came on my 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe.On December 28, 2020, I took my 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe to Riverton-Elko GM Superstore for the repair of the Check Engine light. My Tahoe stayed there until January 23, 2021.Riverton-Elko GM Superstore called and said I could pick-up my Tahoe on 1/23/2021 which was over the weekend while the replacement parts were shipped to Elko.I took my 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe back to Riverton-Elko GM Superstore on February 2, 2021, thru February 5, 2021, for them to finalize repairs on the Check Engine light issue. Picked up Tahoe on February 5, 2021, and was told repairs complete.On February 6, 2021, around 11:00 am Check Engine light came back on.I drove my 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe to Riverton-Elko GM Superstore met with the service department and scheduled an appointment for my 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe to go back to shop for repair on February 9, 2021.Also, during this time, the Check Transmission Light came on multiple times.As of today February 12, 2021, my 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe is still at Riverton-Elko GM Superstore getting repaired.

Called the dealership regarding a Yukon they were advertising. Spoke with Alyssa, who was very friendly and answered all of my questions. We are in N. California so we wanted to get all the particulars down by phone, text, email, etc, before traveling to Elko. Alyssa sent me many detailed photos and assured me the vehicle would be detailed and ready when we arrived the next day. Rachel helped us with financing before we arrived and even kept in touch on her off-hours to make sure we were comfortable with the transaction. My wife and daughter wanted a road trip so they took the drive the next day and met with Jacob when they arrived, as Alyssa had a sick child to attend too. Everyone at the dealership was professional and friendly. We had one misunderstanding but the dealership made up for it and we are extremely happy with the whole transaction. My wife went in for a tail light assembly replacement. I had set up the appointment a few days before and it was confirmed over the phone that the parts would be available. My wife drove all the way from winnemucca just to be charged a diagnostic fee and to be notified that the part could not be replaced that day. Furthermore, the dealership tried to charge us full price without applying our warranty. And the paperwork giving to us states that we refused service. We didnt refuse anything. My wife was treated horribly and was belittled by the staff. Never again.

I would recommend not taking your vehicle to this dealership and avoid at all costs. You can take it in for the simplest thing and they will tell you everything looks good but then you get stranded somewhere because of something they said was “good.” Gene the service manager is no help, he will look at the issue and then tell you “we will use this as a learning opportunity.” So in the end, their mistake is left at your expense. They told me my battery was “100%” and then come to find out it’s completely corroded. This is the dealership that I bought the car from and just expected better customer service. You know, I’m not here for a hand out, just wanting to address an issue that I had and Gene was rude and not concerned about the issue I had and then tried to make me look dumb as if they did nothing wrong. If I wanted crappy service I would have taken it down the street, but as the dealership, I hope and trust that they are better than that and thorough with their inspections. Why would I pay hundreds to have work done here by then if they can’t even take care of the little stuff. The service manager does not care about customer satisfaction.

If your planning on having any simple service work done such as an oil change or transmission flush be prepared to not have a vehicle for 8 hours. I couldn’t get a for sure answer on getting my truck back after dropping it off at 8 am and waiting until 3 pm for a transmission flush. Staff seemed nice but give lots of excuses for work not being done in a timely manor. Would not recommend using there service department.

I brought my 2018 GMC 2500HD in a second time since my truck needed special permission in order for the dealership to fix a Canadian recall. I asked that they look into a lag upon acceleration that has happened intermittently since I bought the truck. The mechanic was unable to replicate the lag issue. Over priced and they make you pay a 1 time nitrogen fee of almost 400 tacked in to the sale price on cars that should not have nitrogen tires on them they are a joke

So disappointed that this dealership and service center have forgotten it is about customer service. If you are planning on having your vehicle diagnosed for anything be prepared to leave your vehicle there all day without communication from service. We are never going here again and suggest that others demand respect when they are handing over hard earned money.

When no one else would work with me and help my family find a car/truck Riverton said they would and they did. Great staff. Very friendly. Jacob the sales person who got us into my truck was awesome. Our car buying experience with David Puentes at Riverton was excellent! He went above and beyond to help us find the car we wanted. When he couldnt find it, he helped us ordered it. He even came in twice to meet with us on his day off. Their finance manager was also helpful as were their other employees. We would definitely recommend Riverton.

We had an oil pump problem on way to California in our Chevy Silverado. They fixed it same day with excellent service. Kind staff. It was a day before Thanksgiving. They helped us stranded travelers. We had 2 little kids. They made it all better!!! Go to this place they are fair, as quick as can be and can give you a ride around town.
