Nice place for games. But they made the worst espresso I ever tasted. And they make it bad consistently. I went there three times and it was unbelievably bad each time.

Whent in 9am on a Tuesday. Quiet environment good game selection. The dirty chi I got seemed kinda weak. But Id come back.

XP Gaming & Cafe does everything right. Not only are they the friendliest and most fun, but their coffee and food is delicious. Not only that, there is such a good vibe in this place; people playing board games, Magic the Gathering, and Super Smash Bros. It is a fun place to be.They hold tourneys that are a lot of fun, even if I dont do very well. 😆 Keep up the great work everybody, and Ill see you soon!

Xp Games is a good place to sit and play games and meet new people, good atmosphere nice and laid back. The food is terrific, have a snack at a reasonable price. Sit and play with friends or check your email on your laptop, either way XP gaming cafe is the best!!!!!!!!!

I loved the idea of this hidden gem! It has so many board games/cards/wheres waldo type things to Do! And it has coffee! Pssssh kids these days have it way cooler then I did!

Im from out of town. Whenever I am in town, I go there every chance I get to get their Reeses coffee drink! Its a very fun, unique atmosphere. The drinks are amazing, the food is good. The people there are super friendly. And they have a big selection of board games you can rent out while there.

The atmosphere here is incredible, Ive not seen any gaming shop or cafe like this before. We talked with the owner about the history and future of the shop, its amazing how much he cares and all the love thats gone into every corner. Selection of games to purchase is broad if a little sparse, but theres sure to be a little something for everyone. Theres also games available to play anytime, and a cozy menu of drinks and snacks for fuel. I can definitely see this being the place to be when Im in town visiting family. Highly recommended even after just a short visit.

From the moment I walked in I was blown away by the atmosphere and thought out into this cafe! Caleb has done a fantastic job creating a safe and comfortable place to game and spend time with family! Their menu is small but creative and enticing! Their game selection is beautifully curated but also trendy! Ill come by everytime Im in town!

This is such a gem, in Elko! Wonderful atmosphere, great service, amazing coffee. Starbucks has nothing on this place! The owner and staff make you feel so welcome and make an effort to get to know you that I get this ‘CHEERS’ vibe, exactly as the theme song goes: ‘you want to be where everybody knows your name’. This is truly a place where you always feel a warm welcome because the owner and staff work hard to create a humble and chill atmosphere, it feels like your hanging out with long time friends, it’s hard not to make friends every time I visit. It’s also very entertaining watching other patrons play their intense games, it’s almost like a sport. They have an extensive game collection for everyone’s mood and interests, that you could easily spend hours here chatting away or have a battle of wits over a great game or just sharing a laugh over great coffee. All around good times, don’t just take my word for it definitely go check this place out!

Very friendly staff, lots of games! No charge to play. Even if youve never played a game harder than tik tak toe they will help you find the right game. Within a minute they gave my date and I a game that we absolutely loved. Great food at a good price.

They offer family fun suggestions and have board games to play while you eat. The food is excellent and so is the service. This is a very friendly place to spend time with family and friends.

I love the concept of this place!! If you love to play games, and if you love to eat, and if you love yummy drinks this is the place for you. The owners have a wall of games you can play while you are there, and if you dont know how to play there is usually someone there that can help you. They offer an assortment of grilled cheeses and coffees galore. Ultimately the best thing about this place are the owners, they are so friendly and always make sure you feel like youve been friends for years. Its a great place for dates, family time, and just for a quick drink through the drivethru.

Skip Starbucks. Seriously.This place is quirky and fun. The espresso rivals Seattle. Amazing.They are basically a coffee shop mixed with a gaming lounge. Tabletop rpg and card games happen here. They have a drive through window if youre on the run too.

All the employees are nice and pretty chill. They help out with some of the games I have been to and there is the added bonus of getting food and drinks here for the longer sessions. If I could I would give it 10 stars

Ive been in Elko a year and missed this place. Im honestly sad I spent so long driving by it. So the coffee was great, the atmosphere was wonderful... And they have games for days. Ill definitely be back.

If you like games, its the place to be! Fun, knowledgable, and friendly staff plus an energetic atmosphere and uniquely executed food and beverage combine to make for a great place to invest your free time. Definitely my local go-to for Magic the Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Zombicide, and much more. Recommended!

The food is mostly like snacks, but they have a wide variety. The staff is always helpful and friendly. This place is always a good place to be, Ive never seen a ruckus or anything crazy, but people are always having loads of fun here. The place is clean and full of seating options. The music is always great, and they play tv shows/anime on the other tv sometimes. My only regret is not playing more board games!

This used to be the best family indoor environment in Elko, it was always clean and I actually wanted to eat there. But now it is always dirty, things are always broken and I dont trust them with my food. I no longer recommend this place to anyone.
