I have brought two different vehicles here over the past six months. Matt and Tony have been great to work with. Very professional and great communication. No surprises.They have done a variety of repairs and service to the cars and workmanship is always done right the first time. Came here based on reviews and I was taken advantage of being an out of state customer. I took my 20yr old Toyota Camry, which was not used for an year but was in good condition before that. They took 115$ just to inspect and oil change, came with 6000$ bill and was told you need to spend at least 2000$ just to get the vehicle on road.Since its an old car and not worth those repairs I thought of donating the car but when I saw in the report and it says front breaks are good but the front desk was recommending to change disk and drum. I got suspicious and wanted to take my car back and requested to jump start but he said it will die once he takes the jump battery off but that was not true since in the morning AAA jump started it and it was running well.I called AAA and the driver helped to jump it and said the battery is good. After driving it a bit, I was able to start using old battery and brakes are good.I drove 1100miles to Minnesota with out any issues. I dont write many reviews but I felt cheated for going here based on reviews.Hope they dont advantage of customers.

Were very happy to find AutoStream at Ellicott City. My vehicle had some engine light issues that wasnt properly fixed by another shop. AutoStream Ellicott City was able to fix the problem quickly and for a reasonable price. They sent me the photos to show the problems causing my engine light to be on and what the parts needed to fix the issue. I love the transparency and their advance technologies. Everything was very clear. Matt went above and beyond to help explain and answered all my questions. My engine light is now fixed and I feel safe driving my car. This is my new go to place to have the cars in my family serviced. They have great mechanics and unbeatable customer services.

We are MD residents who purchased a used vehicle in VA yesterday. Found AutoStream Car Care Center, Ellicott City, on the Internet this morning and called to make an appointment for a MD State Safety Inspection. Tony was welcoming on the phone and said to bring the car in today. Inspection was completed quickly and efficiently. Car failed inspection because of rim damage. I chose Auto Stream based off of the great reviews from previous customers. This place did not disappoint! My truck had a transmission issue, and the required part was on back order from Ford. Initially, this part wasn’t available from the manufacturer for about 3 weeks. Matt and his staff were able to get their hands on this part and fix my truck within 4 days. Outstanding service, and I highly recommend this place!

My ac stopped working and I had no idea where to go. I found AutoStream in Elliott City, took my car in and had it checked. This was my first experience at AutoStream Car Care Center, and after reading the great reviews, I had high expectations to finally find a car service center that was trustworthy and professional. I was certainly disappointed. Repairs were promised to be completed the same day (during 3 different conversations with the representative), but I was notified in the late afternoon that the vehicle would not be ready. Repairs were completed that were not authorized (at a high bill rate) and two technicians test drove the vehicle, one did not protect the light beige leather seat so I needed to clean the vehicle afterwards. As an apology for the late service, a discount was given; however, a coupon was already on their website so it really wasnt a savings. I completed the email generated survey to relay this same information and no one ever contacted me (it has been one month). I will not be a returning customer and I will not recommend AutoStream.

These guys are great. Always very friendly and respectful. Theyve done a thorough inspection including photos and notes everytime Ive had my vehicle serviced and have provided knowledgeable recommendations if and when something needs to be done.

I came to AutoStream Car Care Center for a MD state inspection, and I was well received and told that the inspection would take 2 hours. I was pleasantly surprised when the inspection was completed in less than half that time, and it was also great that they were honest about the cost. New to the area and I found them on Google. I read the reviews and gave them a call. They got me in right away for my inspection and provided a detailed list of the condition of my car. They provided estimates that will save me hundreds of dollars versus going to the dealer (I compared). They also checked our second vehicle and found major safety issues that required me to see the dealer (recall ramifications). The dealer first told me the issues wouldnt effect my state inspection and I pushed them on it and said I had pictures (thank you Autostream!). The dealer went back and pulled a state trooper in who confirmed Autostream was correct, it would fail and was unsafe! No more dealer for us. Autostream is professional, efficient, courteous, and provides high quality.

I recently use AutoStream Car Care Center to address an AC issue. They did an overview of my car and identified all issues, including pictures of the problem areas where possible. The estimate was within expectations, the repair was done promptly and they offered a alternate car for transport although I did not need it. All the repairs seem to be well done as far as I can tell. They were friendly and professional. I would recommend using them for auto service.

This team is absolutely amazing!! My fiance and I had a vehicle with the check engine light on and they were able to take us same day. After determining the issue they told us they would need to keep the vehicle over the weekend but knew we couldnt be without a car so they allowed us to use a rental of theirs. I have never heard of any other shop offering that and I couldnt be more impressed. We will be going back for all car maintenance and issues and Ive already turned on a few friends to them. Lake and Matt up front are good dudes, helpful in planning repairs and honest about cost and importance/priority. One thing they do that is amazing is provide text/email service reports complete with pictures and descriptions along with a green/yellow/red status of parts to plan for future service.

I was taken advantage of being an out of state customer. Went in with my car shaking and rattleing, they said it was inner and outer tie rod ends. All day repair and a cost of $900. Got it back to late to get a new tire that day. When I got it back the car was shaking as bed or worse. The shop was closed and I was stranded for the night. With no reasonable rooms available. Oh, and by the way they broke a front hub cap and disposed of it without informing me.Turned out the problem was a busted belt on a rear tire. Had to get a new one the next day. They could have suggested the tire but they said I was there to late to order one. So its imperative to get your front end fixed they said, very friendly smilely.The car did not have front end shaking, just rear. Sadly, after a $1400.00 hundrend dollar repair and room and tire stop. I would definitely not be quick to trust thier recommendation. I could have been safely on my way for with a $100 dollar tire.

I took my old Ford pickup truck to this auto shop for regular maintenance and for an emission problem. The check engine light was on and I was due for an emission test. They identified the cause and proposed a reasonably priced solution that I accepted. After the fix the check engine light is off and today I passed the state emission test.I am very happy and satisfied with the service I received. They are professional, polite, reasonably priced, and people-oriented.

I recently registered my car in MD and needed the Safety Inspection, so I called them to schedule an appointment and things went smoothly from there. Lake and Matt were very courteous and professional. They explained things related to the Safety Inspection clearly and made sure my car was in good shape to pass it. They were on time with the appoitment and provided options for me to stay while I waited for my car. They protected the driver seat area with plastic and paper. I am originally from Mexico and recently moved from VA to MD, so in each country or state the car inspection process can vary and they made this new experience for me so much easier. I really appreciated our friendly interactions and I highly recommend this place to take care of your car. I will go back soon for an oil change and I am sure they will be my to-go place to take care of my car here in the Baltimore area. I would say prices/labor are decent and the location is easy to find and convenient (there is a gas station, a grocery store and a good coffee place just a few steps away if you need them).

My husband and I found this place after we were told it would take over three weeks to get a service appt at Carmax. We were able to get the car in within 2 days of calling. Unfortunately, I have a demanding job on call and had to cancel last minute. They fit us in the very next day when I knew I would have availability. Lake and his team were all extremely courteous and professional. We received the initial inspection report within an hour of drop-off, and when realizing the repairs would take the majority of the day, the team issued me a rental car in the event I got called into work. Would 100% recommend this shop for all of your car needs!

The guys working here are amazing! Top notch professional service. They send you a report to your mobile phone with photos of all the areas of your vehicle that needs repair. You feel like you are getting service from a luxury car dealer. They offered me a loaner vehicle. They have a rewards program. I have $100 off for next visit.They arent anything like those shady mechanics that try to bleed you or upsell you. They prioritize what needs to be repaired now and later. Their prices are also pretty reasonable. I honestly never experienced this level of service at a shop. They offer all of the manufacturers warranties on all parts. Text alerts for next oil change. So much! Too many things they do right that I didnt feel bad spending $3K today!

Amazing service ! So glad I found them. My check engine light came on and at the time the dealship said it would be at least a month wait before they could even see me. I said that was ridiculous and started trying to find a place they would be able to check it ASAP. I found autostream car care, and from the moment I called they told me not to wait and just bring my car over and they will take care of the rest. So glad I listened. Excellent, prompt, high quality service. My husband and I are far from car experts, but we always feel respected at this repair shop. Twice now they have helped us when we needed an urgent repair and have done the work in a timely manner with great communication. Their prices are in line with what is reasonable for the recommended repairs, and they have been honest about what is immediately pressing, and what can wait.We used to live right up the road and have now moved to Catonsville, but we will continue to return here for our future repairs. They were jammed packed, but squeezed me in, gave me A1 service and customer service and affordable work. All i needee was to fail inspection. They were too lazy to even look at the car and say you failed and i was willing to pay just so i could get my paperwork and inspection done... If thats not lazy and unprofessional i dont know what is..

I’ll definitely be returning!Original review January 2021: I brought my car to Autostream for a safety inspection and oil change. I ended up needing some work done to pass the inspection and my service advisor, Lake, clearly explained what needed to be done and answered all my questions. Since I needed new tires that wouldn’t arrive for a couple of days they gave me a brand new loaner car for no extra charge to use over the weekend. Another service advisor, Matt, patiently explained to me what additional items I should have serviced soon and in how much time/how many miles. Both service advisors really went above and beyond and I will definitely be returning for future maintenance and repairs.

Kept losing air from a tire on a 2004 Dodge automobile. After getting tired of putting air in the tire, I took it to Autostream where it was determined the problem was corrosion on the wheel itself. The wheel was cleaned of the corrosion and problem solved! A big thank you to Matt, Lake and the technician who corrected the problem! Awesome Autostream!

I brought my Mazda3 in for an inspection and Matt and Lake were extremely helpful. They explained everything I didn’t understand and I highly recommend taking your car to them.

The staff are great. I called in and was able to bring my vehicle in immediately for an inspection. Had both of my cars done there. The service was quick and thorough. The staff was extremely nice. They had a list of recommendations for my vehicles but they werent aggressive or pushy about me getting them done. All in all, I was pleased with their service and I definitely recommend them for your auto needs.

Awesome experience! Larry and his team were super professional and accommodating. Brought two cars in for safety inspections and they had them both done as quick as he said he would have them done. I had to have some tint removed (moved here from out of state) and they referred me to a few options in the area to have it fixed, and made themselves available when I returned to complete the inspection. Did not try to up sell me on anything, in fact, gave me a military discount! Clean waiting area with phone chargers, great experience and highly recommend!

Took my car here after getting a high estimate from the dealer. They were priced better, and even said I didnt need one of the things the dealer said I did...the customer service is fantastic. Chris is very knowledgeable and Ron did a great job on the car. They text you a very thorough estimate even with pictures of the parts of your car they are inspecting. They also offer a status tracker to see how the work is going. I would highly recommend and this will be the place I go from now on! I got 4 new brakes & rotors, plus an oil change and alignment all in 1 day!

Very considerate and helpful staff got my car inspected quickly while I waited, even with a last minute addition to rotate tires. They sent the inslection directly to Maryland and explained the process to me since I was new to the state. Ill be coming back.

My boyfriend went for just a tire rotation/ oil change and the maintenance team tried to pressure him into getting more work done. After explaining that’s all he wanted for now and may go to a trusted maintenance shop later if necessary, they informed him that if he wanted to get only an oil change in the future he would need to spend more money for bigger maintenance. That seems very misleading as tire rotation and oil change is listed as a stand alone service and we both have gotten this done plenty of times with no problem.. Trying to be sly and saying “we wouldn’t be a good fit” because we want a stand alone service you offer makes no sense. Pressuring your customers is NOT IT.

These are professional gentlemen and I will be making this my permanent auto repair place. I brought my Kia suv in and they were kind, professional and well mannered. They know what they are doing. I came in young with a toddler, they did not overcharge me like I’ve been in the past. They were fair and affordable with outstanding customer service . I appreciate the honesty and I will be returning I highly recommend.
