E.C. POPS thanks again for your amazing customer service. This place is a hidden gem located in Ellicott City. Mike the “Popcorn Guru” was very friendly and helpful to my mom and I. This is our second visit and each time all of the staff members have been helpful. I recently ordered some delicious popcorn for a gender reveal party and let me just say “once you pop you just cannot stop.” They have a variety of popcorn to choose from. My favorite so far is the cheddar and caramel mix. I cannot wait to try some other unique flavors. If you are having an event, they can customize popcorn colors and flavors for you. In addition, this store offers some unique and amazing products. It’s a great place to visit by yourself or with family and friends. You will not be disappointed!

Wow 🤩 I used to be die hard Fisher’s popcorn…I USED TO BE!!! To say this place “pops” is an understatement!! Stopped by before my Fourth of July party and grabbed a bag of white cheddar Old Bay which paired excellently with a bag of Maryland’s best caramel Old Bay popcorn! They also have a really cool craft soda selection! I got some Rowdy Roddy Piper All out of Bubblegum soda ! Super helpful laid back staff!!

An amazing array of unique items. From delicious sweet and savory popcorn selection to every flavor of soda pop you could imagine or not. Enchilada soda, yikes! Artisan items as well like coaster tiles and soy candles. Staff was friendly and helpful. A must stop when visiting old town Ellicott City.

Great variety of flavors of popcorn and fudge with free samples as well. The employees are very friendly and helpful as well. The store also has other gifts such as candles and socks. Would definitely recommend checking this place out when youre in the area.

I really enjoyed this shop. I had a great time browsing around their jams and jellies and dozens of different flavors of popcorn everything from peanut butter to hot pepper to salt and vinegar. There was also a little stuffed animals and kids stuff around. I really liked the dollar bills on the ceiling that were being collected for charity as well. Service was good friendly and attentive.

Walking in, I had no idea what this store was. I was very impressed wandering through the store. The soda selection is endless and the popcorn options are special. Mike, the popcorn chef, has made so many incredible flavors of popcorn and I can’t wait to try what he makes next.

After finding out the big G from Chicago was no longer in the area I was desperate for my gourmet popcorn. Luckily the Google wizards led me to E.C. Pops, after originally going to the baltimore location and not seeing popcorn. I ventured to Ellicott City and secured the package. Let me just say Wholy Molly Guacamole, I’ll be back to try more flavors.

Happened to be in the area so I stopped in for some of my favorite “birthday cake” popcorn. I also grabbed some kettle corn and opened it as soon as I got in the car. Every time I’m in I find something new and interesting! This is a small shop that supports other local small shops and makers. Truly the definition of a community staple. This is the perfect place for unique gifts especially if you are looking for something representing Maryland. Friendly owners and staff and a clean store. You really can’t go wrong!

Great, diverse store, and hospitable service. I love shopping local and small business close to home and Mike made that experience. He described himself as “just the popcorn guy” but he gave us such a great experience. Told us some history of EC Pops in OEC, let us try multiple different popcorns and told us the story behind creating each one and experimenting different flavors. It was a good time, highly recommend.

Best shop in Ellicott city! You can find everything here from MD appearl to homemade soaps and popcorn. The owner Mike really cares about what he is doing and takes the time to make customers feel appreciated.

Everyone talks about Fischer popcorn. This place has the best tasting popcorn in town and beat them any day. The gentleman who makes it and probably owns it greeted us and even ask our opinion on a new flavor coming out. My neice goes there all the time and she didnt stir me wrong the popcorn and cotton candy (it seem like all flavors)is to die for and she even said the fudge is out of this world. ..no more Fischer for me E.C. has me for life. Great place come with money and a sweet tooth and of course the t-shirts and socks are awesome!

Love this store. Anything Maryland. Anything popcorn. And a ton of soda pop flavors. They did move up the street from the original place. But now you can see them making pop corn thru a window. The have a section of clothing and socks, a wall of pop corn and wall of soda pops. They have a ton of chocolate flavors too. Forgot to take pics from main section. Too busy shopping.

This is a great shop! We went in to browse around and there are so many cool gifts for kids or other family members! The owner also makes homemade popcorn in the store and has so many flavors for sale. We were able to try so many and trust me they were ALL so good! We picked up a few for the holiday to enjoy! :) We definitely be going back to get more popcorn and other gifts! Again overall great store to shop from!

We had a great time shopping here today. We were shopping for holiday/birthday gifts and we left with some good finds. We got to chatting with Mike and enjoying the unique and delicious popcorn flavors...it was awesome! Such a wonderful way to kick off our day of shopping on Main Street. We will definitely be back!

Mike is awesome! We went on Monday, and it took all of our willpower to not go back again until Friday. The popcorn is so good - the flavors are vibrant and fun and so creative. I love the sweet versions - I can not recommend the champagne and strawberries enough! My husband loves anything savory. We live right up the street and it is still too far away!

Such a pleasant place to shop, and the choice in different gourmet popcorn’s is pretty great. I am currently eating the white chocolate and sea salt while I write this, and it is amazing! The man who was making the popcorn was extremely kind and even came out and offered us a free sample of some maple bacon that he was trying out, which was equally as good! If this review doesn’t pull you into that shop, maybe the pleasant smell of Kettle corn wafting through the streets will.

A really cool little shop with a variety of snacks, drinks, sauces and many other pop culture items! If you want Maryland, and by extension old bay, apparel this is the place to go.

I met Mike in the popcorn section of the store and he was so kind to me and my friend. The different flavors of popcorn we got to try were amazing. I’d definitely recommend this store to family and friends. It has such a nice atmosphere and the workers are so generous and sweet.

Mike had us try his newest popcorn recipes and they were sooooo good! The hot chocolate popcorn and chicken and waffles popcorn are incredible. He was so welcoming and we had a great conversation. Will definitely be back to buy more popcorn for Christmas gifts!

My friend and I had a great time testing all of wacky (but delicious) popcorn flavors! The chicken and waffle was surprisingly good but I ended up buying the big bag of champagne and strawberry popcorn and some amazing Cookies and Cream fudge!🍓

I ordered 50+ bags of popcorn from EC Pops for a work event. The people at EC Pops were happy to make my big order for me, and even made the popcorn fresh the night before our event. The popcorn maker contacted me directly and was super easy to work with. This place is a definite must visit stop in Ellicott City. Try the caramel maple bacon popcorn -- you wont regret it!

Pop corn is the bomb 💣. When we where there last we watched as they where making a fresh batch.Down side wish they would offer dome kind of deal when buying do many bags of popcorn. Def will be back to get more popcorn though.

A wonderful man named Mike heard my sister and I talking about the different flavors, he brought out samples in a bag and I swear the flavors were AMAZING!! They are fun and tasty and so unique!! Will totally be going back for more!!!

The mother and son team working in the store when I was there were a delight. The positive energy and fun music were infectious and made me want to stay and hang out even after I was done shopping. The Dark Chocolate Caramel Toffee Fudge is the most delicious fudge Ive ever tasted. I also like the fundraising idea with the money taped to the ceiling. Overall, the place is fun, whimsical, and full of delicious treats. Check it out next time youre in old EC!!!

A cool store to visit with lots of variety. They have popcorn, artisan sodas, candies, novelty toys and more! They have popcorn covered in traditional toppings such as chocolate, caramel and cheese, as well more exotic flavors such as birthday cake, bubble gum, sour cream and onion, and even bacon BBQ(My husbands favorite). We love their popcorn. This place is a must see for anyone in the area. This store is fun for kids of all ages!

This is a great place to find fun gifts and treats. My wife and I stopped in to browse the store and left with presents for 4 up coming birthdays. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We will definitely return to this Ellicott City gem.

Awesome new store with really yummy popcorn and many different flavors you have never herd of and a chance to taste them all with free samples of every flavor! Not just one or two select ones like other places. They also have cool gifts and unique flavor sauces as well as the coolest part, a ceiling full of money, dollar bills and higher that were donated for charity and displayed proudly for all to see. Makes you want to contribute. Neat place

Great place to shop for Christmas

My husband and I really love popcorn, so this is our new favorite place in Ellicott City! They have a huge variety of flavored popcorns made on site and encourage you to sample all of them. All of the ones we have gotten from them so far have been excellent! They also have a ton of candy, fudge, unique sodas, and unique and retro toys for sale.

Popcorn, candy, salsa, BBQ sauces. You want it, theyve got it. Not to mention, the couple that runs the place is super laid back and always having fun. My first visit was a couple weeks ago and now E.C. Pops will be a destination every time I stroll through Ellicott City.

This store is so cute with the candy and popcorn you can buy. We bought two types of popcorn, and they were really good. Youre able to sample all the flavors they have of popcorn, so you know what youre buying.

Excellent fudge, enjoying some as I write this review! Peanut Butter & Chocolate Fudge is great. The fudge is creamy and delicious! I am not a big fudge eater but this is perfect!!

The flavors they have are absolutely incredible. Ordered a bunch for my wedding and it was literally the first thing gone! People are still talking about how good that popcorn was!!

I was there just a wk ago before that flood destroyed the main st again, this is one store with lots of amazing items to make you wonder ...from toys to best apple butter and honey and candies.. I feel bad that this wonder shop is gone now, hopefully they will return .

I got to the store at 6:45pm in Ellicott city. On Google it says open until 7pm and on your website it says open until 10pm. On top of that there are no hours posted on your door, no notice as to the store being closed for any reason, and nobody seems to answer the phone. I needed a gift for part of my one year wedding themed anniversary present, but the store was CLOSED and Im am now out of town and without the gift. Very upsetting and not happy at all.
