I took my daughters car in for a repair after another shop couldnt get to us in a reasonable time. Economy got my car in next day and even with a part delay they communicated efficiently and were able to get my car back to me within the promised time.Pricing was competitive so I had no issues there. Wow!!! what a great place for vehicle service. Brian at the front desk was super professional keeping me updated on my van status and repairs needed. Marc followed up with me a couple days after the repair just to make sure things were good. I never felt pressured into repairs that were not needed at the time of service. I see a lot of positive reviews here - and it makes me wonder what happened during MY experience with these guys. I dropped my car in on a Tuesday morning, knowing how busy they were, told Brian at the desk that they could keep it all day to work it in for a clunking noise generated when I would decelerate at stop lights/signs. All day Tuesday, never heard a word back from anyone. No worries - I actually had a sweet spot in my summer calendar where keeping it overnight to Wednesday wasnt too impactful... Just wanted it fixed. All dang DAY Wednesday - NOT A SINGLE CALL, NOT A WORD from this place about my car, the problem, cost, or a time to come get it. Obviously, I called them late Wednesday evening... only to find out THEY HADNT EVEN TAKEN A LOOK AT THE CAR YET!!! Two full days, not any form of communication back to me and the car HADNT BEEN LOOKED AT YET??? Folks, all I can tell you is that communication is the secret sauce to any good customer service (to life, really!), and this place COMPLETELY misses the mark in that regard. Maybe my experience is the anomaly here - just be forewarned!UPDATE: So, after 3 days of having my car without a solid communication concept/effort - I finally did get word that Economy had figured out my issue was caused by a loose caliper bolt. Tightened it down and have no noises in that regard since...the counter service rep also realized that they had missed the mark in my satisfaction, and didnt charge me for the bolt tightening to try and make up for it. I do appreciate that and am at least more positive on their business as a result now.

I go to the big chain auto repair places and they wont work with me unless I use the parts they sell. Economy works with the customer! They advise you, and twice now they have said to me it doesnt need that work. Instead of taking my money with work that could wait. Much respect for this attitude in this industry. Ive gone to Economy for years, and Marc runs an honest, fair shop. He always tells me what needs to be done and what can wait. Ive been very happy with his service year after year. He really cares what his customers have to say.

My car needed an emissions test. I walked in the day before I needed it to set up the appointment. They were ready to take the car then. Since I didnt have it with me it was no problem. But they were going to make sure I would have my car back. Dropped off the next morning and received a call after not much time, it was ready. Fast, friendly service. Every time.

I only have one visit to this place, so take my review with that in mind, but that experience was about as good as it gets, so 5 stars from me! I have an old car and not a lot of money to sink into it, and it is expensive enough to keep up with when it decides to stop working on its own, but this time it simply failed a safety inspection (from my “regular” shop), and I really could not afford a whole new exhaust system just to get tags. The place that failed me did suggest I find someone to patch it if I needed to save money, but refused to do it themselves. So I left and called around, and as it turns out, not many shops do that anymore. I am guessing that is because 1) corporate policy or 2) they don’t have the skills (or the tools). So I was happy when I called (by chance) Economy and they send bring it in and we will take a look! Same day service and I had to wait no more than 60 minutes if that. They patched my exhaust for a very reasonable cost. If you think about it, it is not that difficult for an experienced welder to weld a few holes over, so why don’t more places do it? Why did Economy do it when others won’t? My opinion was it is because they are a family owned place that understands people, at least that’s the sense I got while I was in there watching them run their business for an hour, and that counts for something in my book! While I was in for the exhaust (and after I got a sense that I could trust them), I showed them everything on my failed inspection report, and they took care of everything for a reasonable cost and sent me out the door with a passed inspection! It was just what I needed in the moment, so they get a review out of me. I think I will head back there again should I need car service, and pass up the old place (nobody wants to go to the car shop, but you want to feel good about it if you do)! The shop itself is bigger than it looks from the road, and seems like a nice space to work in for the mechanics (it’s a nice shop).

Economy car care center is honest and reasonable with their prices. Twice I have needed them for tires that were either flat or wouldnt hold air. They quickly ordered the tire and put it on quickly. Service was friendly. I usually do not write reviews but this place gets 5 stars from me.

He went to the car dealer for some part and they wanted $700.00 in repair for his new subaru. He went to Economy and they fixed it for $40.00. I was referred to Economy Car Care by Valvoline. ECCC staff were very professional & friendly. They gave me a cost up front for the diagnostic and called me with cost for a cam actuator solenoid replacement. It was a Friday & the parts had to be ordered so it wouldnt be ready till Monday. But then they called back & said they got the part, fixed it and the car was ready to go. The bill was what they said it would be, which was also in range with other shops I found on the internet. So far, the car is running great. Any time your car breaks down is bad but ECCC made it a positive experience and I recommend them. Thanks!

I walked in at 5:30 one evening because my brakes went out. These guys were great! They werent able to fix it that evening but waited around until they made sure I had a ride coming. My car was ready by 1:00 the next day. Couldnt ask for better service!

I scheduled an appointment and they had me in and out very promptly.

My husband and I both bring our cars here for EVERYTHING. The service is always top quality. Even when I had my Mercedes, they were able to perform maintenance at 1/2 the cost of the dealer. I love the coupons in the mail and the checking in texts. I highly recommend Economy.

I always get repairs at a fair price but what really impresses me is their attitude towards their customers.. When I was in on a Saturday a woman came in without an appointment and Mike the shop foreman fit her in and took care of her. Many places would sent her on her way but not ECOMONY. This is what good service is all about and gets loyal customers.

These guys were great! I bought new tires for my older Mercedes and brought it and the tires into them to have them installed. It got later in the day before they got to it and of course the tires were being difficult- I told them I had to leave early in the am and was planning on taking this car. They stayed LATE to put them on for me which I found incredibly nice. The tires and the big rims are a total pain but these guys went above and beyond In my opinion.

My cousin is a regular customer and recommended Economy Car Care with a story about how they performed a pre-trip inspection for her free of charge.It’s 2020 so I wanted as touch-free experience as possible. I dropped off my car in the evening using their night-drop box, and paid over the phone. The car was ready the next day, and the new brakes feel just right.Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful, and they even let me use my cousin’s coupon on the service.Definitely recommend!

I recently took my car to Economy Care Care Center to get a brake light warning checked out. My car was inspected immediately and found out I needed new brake pads. I was told the repair would take a few hours. The repair was done in about an hour. I was impressed with the prompt service I received. I will go back next time I have any car problems.

We had a drop coming from under the car. Brought it up and Economy Care Care, cleaned up the underside of the car and did a die test. They did not believe anything was wrong. They could have told us many things were wrong and charged us $$$$$$. They did not. Very honest will definitely use them again and would highly recommend to all!

We used Economy because the mechanic we trust and have used for 20 years was closed when we needed exhaust work completed. Economy performed very thorough analysis, were honest, did not try to sell unnecessary repairs, and the work was excellent for an affordable price. We would use them again for car repairs.

Great job on my car and my sons truck. Did a great job on replacing the front headlight turn light assembly on my sons truck. Shop kept word on how long it would take and price. Office and restroom were clean and pleasant while I waited for my car. Owner followed up to make sure we were satisfied with repairs. I love going to Economy Car Care, and have done so for a number of years now. The front room is clean, quiet, and fresh smelling as smoking is not allowed. Also, one does not smell that horrible, greasy stench that one often smells at other auto repair shops.Marc Pemberton, the owner, is honest and bends over backwards to help if there is a need. He’s one of the mechanics. He took over for a few weeks recently when neither Marc nor David were available and along with his mechanical skills he was also in charge of answering the phone.One day recently, my husband removed a screw and bolt from our old license plate, that was on the trunk of our car, so that we could put on our new plates, but he could not remove the second screw. While attempting to do so, the head of the screw popped off. Thus he was able to remove the plate, but not the screw. It was impossible. We spent a week soaking the screw in PB Blaster but it still did not loosen the screw, thus there was nothing more he could do.I finally took the car to Economy Car Care and asked John if he could help out. He and another mechanic were able to remove the screw and solve our problem. I learned that the screw and bolt had fused together and thus we could never have removed the screw. That’s why it is so gratifying to find someone who can solve the problem. My husband and I are very grateful for his help.Marc and David, the office manager, are totally honest and up front about every job that needs to be done on our car and I had a few things done that were cheaper than at other shops. When Economy Car Care Center on Manchester took over for the previous car shop, I thought I was losing a trusted mechanic. I since have had both of my Lexus RX vehicles to Economy Car Care Center for major and minor repairs/maintenance and state inspections. I have been very satisfied with the quality of the service and have found pricing to be fair. I also believe that Marc and his team treat customers well with honest, professional workmanship. They also go above and beyond and follow up to ensure your satisfaction. From a standpoint of trust, I dont miss my old mechanic at all.

Always been great. Im coming from high-priced brand name repair shops where prices are always high and the service has still been questionable at times. I dont walk out with a $500+ bill every time at Economy. Last time I was there, I had a light on for low tire pressure. I had been in there two times before with a screw in my tire so I just assumed... This time, it was just low pressure. They filled it up and charged me nothing. Its that kind of place.

These folks are new to this area so I thought I would get to know them in having my state inspection which they did while I waited. They provided a prompt diagnosis and quote and followed that up with completing the repair on schedule with great communication and friendly service throughout the whole process. Marc and his team helped make an unfortunate event such as an unexpected car repair as pleasant as possible and we would highly recommend them.

They replaced the lower ball joints on my truck. The truck is now steering and stopping the way it should. After I got the truck back I looked at the ball joints. They look to be installed properly with the cotter pin bent back properly. I will use them again.

Just had my van in at the new Ellesville location and everything was fixed and I was helped with other matters too! I bring my work van there and my personal vehicle and they always do me right! Great rates and quick work. They have been taking care of all of our vehicles for the last couple years and I cant imagine using another shop. I know who Im talking to by name when I call the shop and they know who I am when I call. They have worked with us regarding parts (we can either bring the parts in or they can order them) and we have never found fault with any of the work performed. And they have no problem giving practical advice on self maintenance items (or fixing where my other half messed up a do-it-yourself job 😉) Would 100% recommend.

Had 2 problems right in a row recently. They were able to get me an OEM alternator and done real quick at real fair price. I also had to have a new key re programmed. They knocked it out quick and cheap. I highly recommend these guys if you need your car looked at.

I have had two wonderful experiences with the new ownership at this place! They are prompt, polite, and the prices are excellent. They seem to do wonderful work. I have a large vehicle (suburban), and the last time I had my oil changed at Valvoline, it was $125 and that was *with* a coupon. Today I took my car to Economy Car Care Center. They were about to close but he said he would stay late to change my oil. It was only $38 and that was with no discount. I have nothing but good things to say about this business! The customer service is top notch.
