Forever waiting! Force you to setup auto pay like they cant trust 700CS. No worries,, Then they say they can not deliver till for 2days??? I live 4miles away, 60inch TV. Id rather pick it up my self! Just horrible service, dont waste your time

Awesome customer service as long as you have no issues.. went this entire year not missing payments through all this Covid, I even paid off an account this year but after getting hit by a drug addict in September my mom dying a week later and multiple issues financially I fell behind a SINGLE payment and you threaten to pick up my stuff... I’m gonna give you my last $50 today and I’m gonna get this paid off ASAP but after this I WILL NEVER CONSIDER OR RECOMMEND ANYONE USE RAC.
This particular location is a joke. I’ve been waiting 7 weeks now for my bed set that “could take up to 3 to 4 weeks” but they feel awful proud of themselves for being able to provide me the mattress for now so I still have something to sleep on. Which they expect 30 bucks a week for while I get told on a daily basis they have no idea when the rest of my stuff will come in. They forced me in to 2 contracts while I wait for the rest of it to come in, which I was super hesitant about doing but the manager assured me once it all comes in everything would be adjusted on to one contract. So now who know when the rest of my stuff will be here but the conned name in to a contract for this mattress that I have no desire to have without the rest of my furniture. I stopped paying for the mattress and spent two weeks trying to get ahold of the manager. Spoke to several employees and told them I need to speak with the manger before I make any further payments. Ohhh he’s on vacation, he’s on a conference call, he’s on lunch, he’s out picking up a truck. Got a lot of excuses... never got a call. But my husbands job did!! Funny how they want their money on time so bad they called my husbands place of work but yet Im still actively calling trying to speak with the manager. I finally get a call back today. After two weeks. After they got my husband in trouble with his job. They had his number to call this entire time but never once called him until this morning. The manager didn’t want to do anything but act like a child that couldn’t answer a question but then he got upset that he got yelled at. You’re gonna get yelled at when you get asked the same question literally 20 times and keep beating around it. When you haven’t done your job but you want to mess with my husbands job. Oh and I just have to throw this out there because I still can’t believe it... but the last time we called to pay the lady couldn’t find my husbands account and actually asked him if he was sure he was spelling HIS name correctly. What?!?!? He asked her, are YOU sure YOU are spelling it correctly. To which she says oh. Here it is. It’s just backwards in the system. Omfg. Duh. We set up online payments after that.
Told me to keep calling and let them know when I get my card in and I did a double payment they threatened to take my laptop back after asking me to let them know what was going on. You can only pay cash or card you can’t pay any other way, and until my card gets here there’s nothing I can do. I find it poor to call a customer and say well we are getting yelled at because you aren’t paying NO I’ve been paying I just wasn’t able to this week because MY CARD WAS CANCELED.
The worst place to buy furniture!!!!!!!!!!I bought a recliner set last December and didn’t receive it until the end of January after I put it down payment when my couches arrived the delivery drivers scattered my furniture all through the hallways in my apartments which were saturated with dog hair and the elements from the weather I noticed big stains on my couch so I refused to take them in they took them back and I didn’t get my couches until the end of January. I was asked to make a payment for the couches that I never received and I did. They brought a new couch set this time they ripped the leather. Rent-A-Center told me someone should be coming out to fix it they didn’t show up until September and wasn’t able to fix my couch completely I paid off my couches then the stores started to ignore me they wouldn’t return my phone calls They switched managers twice so with this last manager I told him I was going to drop my piece of furniture off so I could get fixed my piece of furniture still is inside of the Rent-A-Center this is more than a year later and I don’t even have a complete couch set and they have my money this is the worst place I’ve ever done business manager said he would call me I haven’t had a phone call from them once I called them every chance I can get I want my furniture...
Rent-A-Center is the best place to go if you cant find furniture or at the other regular type of stores these people know when they are trying to do I appreciate them and also this is a story if you want to try to get things accomplished while you are working on to rebuild your credit but this is the store where you can get what you need and they can work with you I definitely appreciate everything that Rent-A-Center has to do I just hope that they dont try to be not too forceful on people I understand people have to make their payments but hopefully they can try to be lenient with people we are facing a pandemic so hopefully the company can take that into consideration???....

Put our computer on payment protection. We gave the computer WITH THE CHARGER, WINDOWS 10, ALL OUR INFO. when we got the laptop back after paying it off completely they had wiped it and put 8 back on it, and gave us the wrong charger that didnt work. Went back in for new charger, new charger didnt work. Went in AGAIN and they spent over an hour checking all the chargers for a mere fit when the computer is a gaming laptop and clearly needed a higher amperage charger. They wouldnt listen. Got told to rig two of their chargers together for fit and amperage but what if someone needed one of the chargers we would rig? We didnt pay 1500+ for a computer that doesnt have the right charger THE CHARGER WE HAD BEFORE PAYMENT PROTECTION. we knew what the charger looked like and what we wanted. Asked for a partial refund to go buy a replacement and they said Oh we cant just give you money back when their van clearly says 100% satisfaction or your money back. All employees are rude. Need to be educated on how computers work. Will not return.
Ok. I see a lot of negative reviews on this location and so I think I need to share my experience. Because I think each experience is based pain a persons mutual respect. And I feel the people that have these negative reviews probably lacked in a social area or respect. Or maybe this location just had a couple bad days. But here is my experience from start to finish.Everything was so worry free!!! I have never set foot inside the actual store. I am a busy woman I work 2 jobs. And I don’t have time to go in and sit around or deal with people. I am busy very busy. I knew what I wanted and the price I wanted it at. Since day one I called my sales girl ( can’t remember her name) set up everything I needed got the best prices to fit my families weekly budget she got everything lowered in price to meet my needs!! They delivered fast and timely the delivery guys where fast and great! I didn’t expect an over night delivery I know and understand they r busy they r a large company. Patience is needed on both ends. I signed all my paperwork at delivery. Then I pd weekly out of my account with no problems! When I called in to pay off the amount the guy (again I don’t remember his name) was extremely helpful!!! He wasn’t pushy or anything. I paid off the amount and felt proud of my accomplishment!!! I will only use this location. I have never had a negative experience with any rent a centers and I have used them all over Colorado and Arizona many times. but this location has made it so easy for me and my lifestyle and I appreciate it!!!!Sometimes all someone needs is a little patience and respect to really get a hood experience out of something.
Now dont get me wrong I appreciate these kind of storessome people cannot afford high-quality type of stuff but thank goodness that they have companies that you can pay as you werent going to keep the item but on the other hand I think at some point or some kind of business political acts arent going to be affected because you have to look at are you going to be ripped off or are you going to be really paying the value in what you are having or keeping or buying from the store thats the only the real harsh living or ownership about a Rent-A-Centerit is a good and a wonderful thing but sometimes you wonder if you will be getting ripped off at some point but this is a good decent store you can and go and put stuff on layaway maybe you can pay it off anytime sooner or vice versabut I do think Rent-A-Center and they are a good decent type of a story if you cant afford furniture or TV or household items or electrical electronics thank you.
Kind of goes like this. You have an agreement if you cant stick to it call them and they wont call you. Talk to Jeff and hell hook you up. We love this place and they take great care of us.

A couple of years ago, we needed to rent a clothes washer while ours was waiting for a part on order. They delivered the washer but on our first load, we quickly realized they forgot to put the drain hose in the wall. The water drained ALL over our basement floor due to their stupidity. To make matters worse, after our insurance company paid for it, RAC refused to pay them back and even refused to pay us the $500 deductible. They acted like a used car company and criminals. Great way to run a business and I am sad that they probably treat people who dont have the money to buy appliance the same way.
Myself and fiancé are currently working with Rent a Center. i have to say i am very pleased with the service we have received. We have purchased a total of 3 different furniture items with no problem in fact got easier. These guys worked with us and we even had our favorite employee who kept as our point of contact and she knows who she is so thank you!

I was 2 days late on a payment, because I totally forgot it was due, they started harassing me. Literally calling my phone every hour and calling my place of work. They also showed up to my house to collect a payment. If I was able to give them 0 stars I would.

I love everyone in this store, they have been so sweet and friendly to me, when they delivered my washer and dryer they were really great, they have went beyond customer service many times to help me so for that I say thank you to everyone at rent a center.
Do not get anything fianced from them! Got my furniture two years ago seems like the interest goes up by the month. I’m almost done paying it off and then instead of calling for a payment like they usually do EVERYDAY they Show up at home threading to pick it up. The worst thing I could have ever done. All they do is harass people
Rent A Center is trash. They call me multiple times a day to market new promotions. As well as calling me off the hook for payments. They began calling my job on day 3 of trying to collect after leaving 2 voicemails but after atleast 7 phone calls. If I continue to get multiple calls daily after requesting they be stopped I will contact the Colorado attorney generals office. My account was inherited by RAC from AcceptanceNow and this is just horrific. The collections rep was shocked to hear me answer my work phone but doesnt have the nerve to answer why he did not leave a voicemail from the two phone calls I just ignored on my cell... Did you try to call any references before trying to call my job. If I would suggest anything is not to do business with a company whose collection department is remedial and should be selling furniture.

Im very disappointed in the quality of my mattresses i specifically ordered NEW its obvious they were not new!! They were re-wrapped with plastic (to look like they were new) EXCELLENT DELIVERY SERVICE!!

Rent a Center is the place to go if your credit is bad. If my credit was better I would have gone to a more reasonable store with better prices. I showed up at rent a center, because I needed an item desperatley and they provided, and quickly, no hassles. I have to pay more but thats my problem. Bottom line.....its called my poor choices when I had great credit. Now I have to rebuild, so glad rent a center is there to give me a boost. Try paying your item off within the 90 days and then its worth it! Thats my story; short, simple and honest. DS
