Do not use this business. They will up their rate of labor if you provide a part that is needed for the repair. They said to offset the missed revenue on selling me the part. Had been a customer for 10 years, and their initial response when I asked about the weird bill to the manager was if you dont like the policy, take your business somewhere else.That was the managers response, okay manager, taking my business elsewhere like you requested! They also never stated the policy or had it posted before my equipment was fully fixed.
Had a great experience. Had the part and it was fast and so effortless I almost felt the job was done. Then I remembered I had to install the part still. But price wise couldnt be beat. Customer service was above and beyond expectations. Highly recommend.
Called in for service and got on their “board”. They could not give me an ETA of when I would have a tech out for my equipment. I asked how many other customers I had in front of me and the response was “we don’t do the service calls in order, but you are on the board”. The impression was we will get to when we feel like it or convenient for us. I was on their board for about a week with no action. I was able to find a competitor where they could give me an ETA and provided scheduled service. For a company that services commercial accounts a funny way to run a repair business.
Rude. Thoughtless. Curt. No customer service skills at all. Its a pretty crowded market with most people able to handle jobs same day. This company cannot even tell you when they are coming, not the day or even a window - just when they are on the way so I am supposed to, what, be available all day every day until you magically appear? And they have ZERO sympathy or care regarding this policy. Found someone else same day, cheaper, and with far better service.
The service department lady/Sarah was rude and didn’t have any professionalism.
First time oven repair, the tech was excellent,recently had thermast replaced $700 dollarsNever checked for other issues, again around $700 dollars for the visit that took two weeksWill never use again
Rude service department coordinator wish I remembered her name. If you hate your job that much switch careers. Its Friday. Says alot about the company I see why they have a 3.8 rating
Hawkins Commercial Appliance Service Inc is not accepting new business at this time based on my experience today. I called the service department for repair of my retail cooler, the gentleman insisted on taking my credit card information for a deposit on repairs before speaking with me and then refused to give me any idea when they might be out to make said repairs. He indicated they were many more important customers before they could get to my me.My impression is that Hawkins has all the business they can handle, they will accept new clients credit card information but dont expect any actual service.
Dont use this company. Same as other reviews here: the service is terrible. They want your $250 credit card deposit before doing anything, and will not commit to a timeframe of day, nor even day of week, nor even month, when they will come. I waited a month, called back, and they said they didnt even have my name. So I gave it again, waited another month, they said they are busy and it will take a couple months. After 3 months, they came out, and I wasnt there, so they charged me for the time! Then they came back when I was there, and they couldnt even help me with the problem. They said its an aftermarket part they dont know anything about (a hood part that was installed within last few years). So they did zero, charged me hundreds of dollars - and when I try to call and resolve it with them, it is crazymaking. Samantha or Kaley, and their supervisor Troy: the conversations go in circles and dont even make sense based on their invoice. Just dont do this to yourself. Use another company. Notice the positive reviews on here are mostly for their Parts (not service), or from a few years ago. Dont make the mistake I made. Use another company please.

Larry and Steve will help you with all your problems. Big parts inventory. Make sure you stop by and see if Hawkins can repair your machine or help you find a new one.
Parts department was good and got the part I needed promptly (otherwise this would be one star).Service dept. not so good. Told me they would send a tech by the end of the week (called on a Monday) its now Friday two weeks from when I called still nothing. Also needed Refrigeration work done and was told to leave a VM for the Refrigeration manager and hed get right back to you, that was three days ago amd still no word from him either.Im renovating a restaurant and not currently open for business but at a stand still until I get this equipment repaired and out of my way. Overall didnt feel that they wanted or needed my business so Im going elsewhere.
This place has always been able to get me out of jams due to broken equipment and troubleshoot issues with working machines. They are extremely helpful and reliable for my small business.
Worked with their service tech at their location yesterday and then with their parts dept today. All around great service and helped me troubleshoot a small issue with a Robot Coupe. Thx again

Its the best didnt realize they had parts for alot of Kitchen Equipment. If you need parts check there First.
They might not get to you right away, but the quality of work is worth the wait.
Absolute garbage avoid at all costs! Been waiting two weeks for a technician. Not really sure how they expect a restaurant to operate without an oven for two weeks. Dont sell a warranty if you dont have the technicians to fix the products

They had what i needed without waiting for it to be shipped and the service was quick, professional..
