I’m a builder, I have to order stuff every day and I schedule every day. As much as I don’t like to admit this but it’s my fault for trying to work with BMC. My excuse is when they pre hang doors they actually set the hinges flush with the jamb and I haven’t found that in Colorado yet. They also HAD a decent guy working trim.NOW the bad. If I could give zero stars I would.They never answer the phone so it’s sometimes necessary to physically go there to make an order. This has been the same for the 3 years I’ve been going and it’s gotten worse. Much worse. They flat out don’t give a care about other human beings. Even the nice lady they hired to answer the phone complained that all the customers give her grief because nobody ever returns calls and it’s worthless to transfer them to voicemail.The last order I specifically told their new guy Tom I don’t want MDF jambs. He of course stated he would never get MDF jambs. I got MDF After waiting 11 days. The delivery never showed till 6:37pm and no phone call. More than 1/2 of the order was incorrect And it didn’t show. Now 13 days after placing my order and complaining to the GM Tom calls me and tells me the door hardware was not ordered as he thought it was in stock. Now I get to wait another 2 weeks. He actually tried to blame me as I cancelled most of the order that wasn’t delivered which was 2 days ago and he felt I cancelled the door hardware. I didn’t. He knows and then quickly told me the previously mentioned reason.This is the worst place I’ve done business with since I started construction 37 years ago.

Absolutely no sense of urgency here, these people need to drink a Red Bull or something, never seen anything like it actually.

After completing an order for door casing in Sept of 2020 and having it installed in the bottom half of my house, I attempted to order the same casing 5 months later for the top half. I was then told they would not order it for me because I wasnt ordering in bulk and they would not be placing an order for it for quite some time. So with a baby on the way, I have to finish the upstairs in a different casing. Apparently, that is the customer service you can expect at BMC. Had they told me it would be really hard to get later, I would have went a different route with the first order, or ordered enough to complete the entire house. I used to recommend BMC, but I cant say the same anymore.

Very nice people working this place. I would come back again if I get another load to deliver to This company.

BMC is my go to place for everything from windows to cabinets to parts for doors and widow glass. Ive always been treated as a important customer. Liz is amazing and well as all the staff and warehouse personnel. Thanks BMC!

So, I did not purchase materials from BMC, but a neighbor did. When the truck went down our alley, it got stuck and backed into/broke the neighbors fence when it couldnt make the turn.I contacted BMC both by phone and by email, because our neighbor is a little old lady who doesnt speak english very well, and I knew she didnt know what happened.Josh at BMC responded very quickly, both by email and phone. I explained the situation, and he said NO PROBLEM!!! They came out and fixed our neighbors fence better than new, replacing much more of it than I expected! Our neighbor was super relieved, and we were very impressed with his attitude and do the right thing response.We dont have a need for materials right now, but in the future well definitely be calling for a quote based on Joshs integrity!!!

Worst company ever to deal with for orders and customer service. Called to order doors an hour before they closed on a Monday and was notified that both sales people went home for the day already. They didn’t have anyone that could help! They lost my business and I will order doors from another company that can actually help!

We paid for a custom front door eight months ago. BMC gladly took our money but still havent sent a functioning door. Now I cant get ahold of anyone to call me back. This has been so incredibly frustrating. If anyone from BMC sees this, PLEASE MESSAGE ME! After this awful experience weve had, I would caution anyone else from giving BMC any money.BMC, please just do the right thing. You shouldnt be treating customers like this :(

Expect the worst experience when you place an order for delivery. I ordered it on July 3, for a delivery on July 11 (8 days to prepare and deliver) nobody ever showed up on July 11, July 12 . I called them in the morning, evening, 6 times a day and the phone call was answered only in the evening after 4pm when everyone left and nobody knows what is going on with your order, they cant even give you a status of your order. Unfortunately, I did have to go through them as I was trying to get matching doors otherwise I am sure I would have found a way better vendor. So, expect the worst customer and delivery service. If you have a chance going different route, I strongly recommend.Good luck

Had great recommendations on this place from contractor. I was greeted by the receptionist what was very nice when I walked in. She ask Dennis if he could help me and at first he said he was too busy trying to put together another order. He ended up helping me anyways but he helped me to another competitor because when I got over there he was just too busy to help me place an order and literally referred me to another business. Well thanks for your time Dennis and wasting mine and my drive over. Lucky for me and that other business, they got my order done in about 5 minutes and they got several Grand in more business coming their way now. Sorry but sorry. One bad apple can spoil your reputation.

Great materials

Could not do zero stars... DO NOT do business with this company. I have been dealing with this company for the last 3 years. Every aspect of my recent order was totally screwed up. Three deliveries for one order and still messed up. Wrong items delivered, did not deliver on the days they said they would, would not accept returns and did not refund money for items returned and some products were slightly damaged.

BMC absolutely sucks. They delivered the wrong material multiple times just dropped it off at our house then picked it up to return it then subsequently read delivered it to our house and have never credited us for this material and claim no one can find our order number they are Crooks and they know it. Stay away from salesperson Brian Thompson.

Poorly organized service at will call.

Expensive plywood was delivered to our house and it was left in the rain.This same plywood returned to BMC and then out the blue showed up at our front door 3 weeks later, no paperwork, nobody rang the door bell.Excess material was to be returned, 3 weekd 2o calls no one has shown up, people answering the phone are indifferent to your request, try Home depot, this place is running at speed of pony express.
