Everything is top quality including customer service. Best to place order ahead of time, and pick up next day. As it is a busy place.

Ordered a cupola for an 8/12 roof. I know it was an 8/12 roof and ordered for an 8/12 roof because I designed said roof as we are home builders. I know what a roof pitch is. Uncrated the cupola and it was made for a 12/12. Called AB Martin - the first fellow tried to help me but said someone would need to call me back. Guy who called me back (Deevis maybe?) was combative from the start, stating that they dont make mistakes and only order what the customer tells them. I guess it is completely inconceivable that the order taker entered 12 instead of 8 by mistake on his keyboard. I get it that mistakes are made, it happens - what Im not ok with is a company essentially telling me Im out of luck because they made one and insulting me while theyre at it. I only got somewhere when I threatened to issue a chargeback, to which he told me that it shows what kind of customer I am. No, it shows what kind of company these guys are. So now they will remake the base, but I need to drive 3 hours round trip to get it or itll be another $250. So now the whole project is held up while I wait for it to be remade and go and get it.It would probably have been avoided had they actually sent me some kind of order confirmation but that never arrived when I placed the order to begin with. So congrats AB Martin, you ruined a potential long term client relation who is a builder because “you don’t make mistakes”. Oh and we were also going to buy $10k of roofing material from you, but guess what is not happening now. That’s right we just ordered Englert for the job.

Tons of hardware, tools, lumber, metal, nuts, bolts, washers, wiring, and lights; a HUGE selection. If youre a contractor or even a regular guy who sticks to easy jobs and need supplies or tools to start, work on, or complete your project, then this is definitely a solid contender for a local one-stop-shop. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean and organized. Prices are in-line with other supply stores in the area; some things are higher and others are lower etc.

This place has very good Lumber . Lumber very very good clean Lumber. Even if plywood is top-notch high grade materials. They do also make metal building panels there on site if needed custom wits or height or length. How many colors in stock ready to be made or pick from panels that are already previously manufactured there. Awesome selection of hand tools and all accessories for construction

I picked up a small order of lumber and drywall on Saturday. I had put the order in ahead of time, picked up my screws and bits, went to the counter to pay, and was ready to head out to the yard in less than 10 minutes. The yard guys had already pulled and carefully banded together my order (special care had been given to the drywall), and I only had to wait 5-10 minutes for a forklift to bring it around. They’re pretty busy on Saturdays, but the yard guy was extra helpful. He even helped me hand load my truck since I didn’t think to bring a trailer. Overall, very happy with the service and quality of the materials.

Excellent employees. Not a small business. I prefer to support the small businesses as they built this country. But they have everything you need and are very helpful in finding what you need. Dont be afraid to ask for help as they will walk around with you to find it and not just point you in a direction like the big box stores. Highly recommend.

I walked into A B Martin today prepared to make a large purchase. I was astounded to see not a single employee wearing a mask. One particular employee at the customer service counter was coughing into his hand, then handling samples and paperwork not 3 feet from a customer. I am horrified at the complete disregard for customer health and safety at this business. They should be ashamed for their unchristian behavior.

They delivered materials very promptly and the delivery driver helped us carry all the items to the location exactly where we wanted them.The customer service is good also.

This place caters to and is frequented by the construction trade crowd.Having said that, I have gone here for supplies to rebuild a deck and several plumbing projects. I often need a little advice about these projects and the staff is always very helpful, patient and knowledgeable and often make suggestions about different options on plumbing adapters or better ways to do the job. And they dont talk down to you just because youre not a pro or a high volume customer. They also rented me a crimp tool on a couple occasions.Store is very clean, modern and organized with a great selection of products. Highly recommended!

Beautiful showroom, folks really want to help the buyers and nice people too. The selection is crazy-I needed 2x8x16 T&G wood and they had a huge stock of it. All types of things and good prices to boot. I would recommend and just wish they were closer to me is all :-)

Not enough employees to help you find what you need. And if you buy something and open it and find out its not what you needed youre stuck with it. They wont accept opened package returns. They could always reduce it 10% as an open package and sell it.Its more for bulk buying than a regular hardware store.

Well run and great products. Staff are quite helpful. I dont believe the 1-star reviews, not at all. Theres no way some of these reviews are legit, based on my experiences doing business here, and the fact you cant run a business both very well, and horribly at the same time. LOL

If your looking for most any building products this is your one stop shop. Wait times in the yard on a Saturday mornings can be longer then preferred. It would be nice to have some evening hours for those that work till 5 pm.

Our new roof is FANTASTIC! Got away from the shingles and went with a new Green roof. AB Martins has a variety of colors . Plus, you will not believe the store, makes lowes and home depot look bad !

We placed an order for metal roofing through AB Martin online and picked it up ourselves. The materials we received were in great condition. ...Metal roof, fasteners, ridge cap, and eve trim. They helped us with a few questions we had as this was our first experience with metal roofing in any form. I would happily go back as they had by far the best prices locally. way better than the box stores, online, or other local mfgs.

There are new places closer to me with the same products now as metal roofing gets popular.I will continue to drive the extra miles because I always got the best service from them !!!!Even after the older lady that answers the phone at the old place, said something not so nice about me in Dutch, to the man that was helping me at the counter. I call snow guards, snow birds, I replied to her, she was so embarrassed and turned red.....it was GREAT!! The man helping me laughed also, he said she needed that..Bet she never did that again.
