Always have excellent product! Refinished railing using min wax poly shades product from Fisher paints.Update 4/21: bought deck and railing stain. This came out beautifully! My deck is over 20 years old!

Had just what I needed, fully stocked.

As advertised, Its a paint store. But I was always confused by its second name, East End Mart which seems to be the hardware side of business. They sell some tools and hardware but this is not where you want to go for that. Probably wont have what you need. Fine for paint.

I absolutely used to love this store. Superior products and service. I went in the store to inquire about stain for a project and the person running the store wasnt wearing a mask. I was, because the governor had just mandated that masks MUST be worn indoors.I will not be back. I ended up buying nearly three hundred dollars of product from Lowes because this store put politics ahead of the safety of its customers.

Staff doesnt wear masks. store doesnt ask customers to wear masks. I wont be back. Have spent a lot of money there over the years. too bad.

Finally someone for real. They allow you to think for yourself, but respect those caught between a rock and a hard place. Superb customer service. Thats true respect. Not shoving facemasks halfway down your throat before you enter. Another place did that to me because I didnt have one on even though I was social distancing. They then had the audacity to take a smoke break before helping me. Just in case you didnt already know smoking cigarettes has killed more than double the people than COVID-19 has so far this year. Go look at cdc statistics. Why are you allowed to sell cigarettes if COVID-19 is so horrible? I get the spit shield, but the whole mask thing is an age old dehumanizing strategy to get people to break. Dont be fooled. Keep it simple. Be for real. Thanks guys!

This was East End Hardware until about 2 yrs ago when bought by Fisher Paints. They have a HUGE selection of wallpaper, paints, and all the special tools needed. Hardware still there but less selection and variety than before. Looks like they discontinued a lit of their gardening supplies.Very friendly, helpful staff. Still a great place to get just the right piece of hardware needed -- single nail, screw, hook, etc. Rather than buying a whole package when all you need is one or two!

Seems crowded and kind of dingy. Also a lot of the shelves looked pretty bare. Paint is where they shine though! Low prices on these items.

Love this local paint and hardware store. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They have a good variety of hardware stuff and the staff is so great at helping me find my item quickly.

Great local service. Needed help picking out a ladder, they made it easy and told me everything I needed to know. Its a smidge more expensive than Lowes, but supporting a local business and getting help makes it worth it. They were even handy in getting me a red flag for the ladder hanging out the back.

Love going there. Awsome staff. When Im in the area I always stop in. Im a self employed painter. they carry painting supplys you cant get any where else. Saves money. You gotta check them out.

I entered the store today intending to buy paint. Two employees were present along with one customer other than myselfNo one was wearing masks. I am very disappointed in that I have been a customer here for many years. Clearly the new owners have no care or regards for their customers health and safety. From now on, all my business will go to Paul B Zimmerman, where they actually care about their customers.

Family-run East End Mart is what local shopping is all about. With a few minutes of entering you will be talking to a knowledgeable staff member, who, if they can’t answer your question or provide what you are looking for, will go out of their way to help. I once had a problem with a portable clothes dryer. They no longer sold the product, but went out of their way to find local metal worker who could fabricate a replacement part. Excellent expert service for hardware, painting, household needs. Did I mention they sell ladders?

I was in need of Gel Stain for a project and tried 3 different stores in Ephrata, one suggested East End Mart. So I gave them a call, I hadnt been there since I was a kid with my dad, the lady who answered the phone was obviously busy but took the time to give me personal attention and went beyond just telling me if they had Gel Stain. She asked what I was doing and began giving other recommendations. When I visited the store later in the afternoon the lady I spoke to helped me and went out of her way to help me make the best choice for my project.I must say this kind of service is hard to find these days and I will be returning to East End Mart for future hardware needs.

I love this place! They have absolutely everything in a small town hardware store atmosphere! They are always super friendly and helpful,always! Prices are competitive but I still get stuff there even if its cheaper at that big w store up the street! Thank you!

I we/ moved to Akron in December 2015. My first dollar spent at a store in Lancaster was the next day what was then East End...now Fishers paints....most locals call it the ladder store...if you dont knoww why, visit. A remarkable store with the kindest best employees highest quality service and they match prices on same products. They didnt have as esoteric screws that I needed yesterday.....took the 20 min plus drive to a big box....5hey didnt have it either. Wonderful part of our community

Since Fishers bought this store, prices definitely went up. Still some things I like there, but I just bought an Mt 26 multi-purpose ladder somewhere else 4 $80 cheaper. Valspar paint prices also went up two more than other stores.

Was told i could buy in 5 gallon can went back they said i couldnt do that so i ended up buying 1 gallon individual cans. Talked to the manager and he couldnt figure out why i wanted a discout. Was because you told me something different from the start and i ended up paying more.

Great fresh fruit and vegetables. Their root beer, pies and cakes are awesome as well.

First snow of the year and thankfully Fishers was open and had ice melt available! Thanks guys!
