The pear and honey brie bites were really good. And the crepes are amazing in pictures starting from left; nutella crepe with bananas, nutella crepe, and crepe with butter and powdered sugar.

My new favorite find with some of the house secret recipes such as taro, durian, and jasmine tea flavor. The yogurt flavor is especially flavorful with just the right amount of tartness.

Elixir Espresso & Wine Bar in Westfield North County is located under the big twirling West field sign and in front of Brookstone.It has that ambience of a relaxing place in the middle of a busy mall. Great spot for us early bird mall walkers, opens at 7am.

Such a fun experience in the mall. Nice staff. The mall had live music when I stopped by. Def recommend.

This is an oasis in the mall. Its free standing not walled off particularly but it really makes you feel when you sit there that youve escaped. They have excellent espressos and a nice choice of wines and you can enjoy a gelato or serve it to your children while you enjoy your coffee or wine. Nice!

They actually know how to make coffee, beans are fresh and never burnt. Please go here instead of the Starbucks that is right above it... they also serve good food.

Karl is great. Hes attentive, charismatic and knows what he is talking about. He will get you what you want without you knowing that thats what you wanted.

We have been coming here for 2 years. Previous, FABULOUS. Wine, coffee, light food.. Over the last 6 months this Coffee Bar has eroded Customer Service and Product. Staff would rather be anywhere else than here working! Today was 5he last hurrah for us though. In the afternoon on a Saturday in a busy mall they told us there was no coffee. Ok, I could have order a glass of wine, or a hot tea, but come on, a coffee house that has run out of Coffee. Glad our economy is better because Ill take our business somewhere else. To bad. The was a great manager here before, but he left for Arkansas.....

This place used to be my oasis away from it all, about two years ago. The coffee was well blended and you could tell that the baristas took pride and care on their work. Unfortunately, things have changed.The elixir in the mall of Escondido has turned into another general, run-of-the-mill, coffee spot. We all know the type. It’s the one that you stop at only because it’s on the way or is the most convenient. The environment is dirty and the inside bottom of the cup is a thick layer of unmixed powder.Please, get the old crew back or at least learn how they made their coffee! Elixir used to show people what coffee was supposed to be. Now all it does is remind us of how companies sell out.

Service is prompt even when they are busy. Quick, helpful, and friendly service. The place has a nice atmosphere.

Next time Ill be back with my relatives. Prices are decent. Feels like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed visiting.

I love this place! The employees are super nice and they are always introducing new things on their menu. Great wine, crepes and European coffee/expresso. Interesting location for it being out in the open in the mall, but it totally fits!

Never thought Id be hanging out in a mall sipping wine or sampling a cheese board, but my boyfriend stumbled across Elixer. What a great, convenient place to unwind after work. Its right off the freeway and has great wine. The staff are always super friendly and the place is a little oasis inside a busy mall. The crepes and gelato arevrealky good too.

Great little wine and espresso bar in the center of Westfield Escondido! They have some good appetizers as well.

I love the crepe from this cafe however they have bad service because yesterday we went at 8:33 pm and they wouldnt make us the crepe and the cafe closed at 9 :00 pm . Im pregnant and I went specifically for the crepe from far place and they wouldnt make the crepe for me! Good customer service is need it!

The bill was fair for the quality of the food. Atmosphere is similar to a cafe in San Jose I loved.

Hands down the best quality of coffee. Elixir locations are very consistent so you get great experience at each place.

I was at this Westfield mall in Escondido last Wednesday getting a car battery check-up.As we all know getting work done on your car can take hours but my wife and I had recently been to the new Elixir Expresso & Wine Bar in La Jolla and we found out they also have a location in this center.As it turned out Elixir was on the bottom level only a short walk from the store where I dropped my car off.A young lady named Jackie greeted me very happily and took my order for a latte and a crepe.I know their coffee is very good because they use our favorite Caffe Calabria roasted coffee beans at all their locations and their long slim crepes are very good value.Thanks to Ty for making my superb latte and the delicious crepe.And thank the stars I found some place decent to have lunch at because my car wasnt ready for another 3 hours.....and for around $13 with a tip it was great value.Friendly staff,great service,terrific food and beverages and a handy location away from the food court makes this business a winner.
