Friendly, helpful staff. Went in looking for an anniversary gift and ended up with other gifts instead. Ill be back. This place never disappoints

Carl Johnsons house in eclectic mixture of new and used furniture antiques quality appliances bedroom furniture and mattresses clothing. You really have to pay the store visit to appreciate it its a lot of fun

One side of the store is way too expensive but the items are very nice and the other side has better prices and used furniture but not a big selection. They have auctions there which you can get some great items for a good price. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a front entrance and back entrance with good parking. Conveniently right off the highway.

Carl Johnson does a fabulous job helping us pick out just the right gifts at Christmas!Every year our adult kids love seeing the professionally wrapped presents under the tree cuz they know they are from Carl Johnson’s...the staff does an amazing job in customer service and they are kind and friendly. You can’t go wrong with their baskets!

The Christmas Boutique Open House was very cozy and eye opening. We bought several gorgeous ornaments and I went back later for several gifts.

Horrible experience. Lied to about delivery time, when I called, they lied some more. Waited two days for a simple twin mattress, that they tax you wrong on. Its my belief that nobody should ever use them for anything.

My favorite place to unwind and relax I love there display so festive and sometimes they serve hot apple cider my favorite place in eureka!

I love CarlJohnsons. They have Quality, Variety, new and used.It is clean and most of all when I go in they acknowledge me and recognize me I feel like a friend when I go in.I tell them its my favorite shopping center. A real home town treasure.

Usually love the store and all the items, but was seriously disappointed to see employees not wearing their masks properly, decided to walk out and do my Christmas shopping elsewhere.

Very friendly service! Like the good old days, people here really want to help you! One of the last retailers to stand behind their products, they really do stand by their word and warranties. What originally started as a hardware store over 50 years ago now has everything you can imagine for the home. From woodstoves to ranges, roofing to housewares and home decor, this place really has everything for the home. Dont forget to check out the auctions. There is always something new in this iconic store.

My fav holiday store

Love going in here. I like how its a hardware store but 90% of it is couches, clothes, and home decor. When I think of hardware I think of like a home depot lol so I was very pleasantly surprised. I wish it gave me the option to post pictures of some of my favorite peices in my home Ive bought there.

While visiting our daughter and son in law in McKinnlyville my wife and I decided to surprise them with a new washer and dryer . We visit them quite a lot and noticed their washer ; dryer had seen better days . We so wanted it to be a painless process but being from Oregon we couldn’t be hands on because of distance. Don made it all happen and went beyond what he needed to. Appliances worked outstanding ; but the house had a water drain issue . Nothing to do with washer. Again Don stepped in and handled everything through a third party business locally. They treated us like ole friends .

Carl Johnsons is a wonderful place to shop. Don & his family make sure you find what you need, & he takes the time to actually help you. He has all the pool/spa chemicals, & will explain how to use them. We bought our familys favorite sofa here, & David delivered it & set it up in our family room. The latest feat was Dons help as we downsized - they came out to the house, picked up our unwanted furniture, etc & turned it into $$ for us. They even dropped off our donations to Hospice Shop. What a huge help - a million thanks, Don! Happy New Year!

Awesome stuff.....hard to find american made products

Every visit we are followed and every time we look back to see what they want they stop and look at whatevers next to them as if they had been all along. We are constantly under supervision. Weve even been followed outside to our bicycles. I like the miniscule selection of things that arent gimmicks, but those are few and far between. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
