They had a great going out of business sale. Although its sad to see an icon leaving the retail industry, their sales were phenomenal. It was amazing that the employees that are still working there or very friendly and outgoing trying their best to help you find what youre looking for.

This review is for the mattress department since I havent really shopped here otherwise. We spent two hours testing out new mattresses and I have to say I appreciate the service we received. We were immediately greeted (by an employee named Josh) once we started trying out beds. He asked if we had any questions, answered our questions well, gave us some helpful pointers for shopping, then left us alone. It was perfect. We never felt rushed or pressured and when we had more questions, Josh had more answers. Even better, he never tried to convince me I needed something pricier than my my budget and was frank about the accessories I actually needed and why. Today, the price of our mattress was better than the local stores (probably only because of the sale). I appreciate that they deliver the new mattress and haul away the old one for free. Itll be a month before we see our new bed, so if timing is a concern for you, that may be something to keep in mind. Probably slightly better outside of the holiday season.

Glenn the assistant manager was so beyond helpful when we were buying ovens from them on black Friday. Barbi in the tool department is so friendly and always willing to help whenever we are in the store. James and Jeff are both extremely helpful too and Jeff is super knowledgeable with ovens!

I needed a new battery, and to have my back brakes inspected. The shop manager, Glenn, got a mechanic to start servicing my truck and was i in luck! He also owned the same F-150 and seemed to love working on them. Mike replaced my battery, rotated my tires, replaced my rear drum shoe set, total brake service and a free under the hood check. I would give Sears a five star rating, but the labor charge was not a refection of the outstanding service i experienced. Give them a try - im glad i did!

I bought 3 pairs of shorts. When I got home an hour away. Realized ignorant workers left the ink devices on every pair. Real cool

Ive been going to this Sears store for 30 years. They have always taken care of me over the years. They back the appliances they have sold to me. If Ive ever had a problem, very rare, they have replaced it in a friendly manner. The store seems quieter lately. Sears has always been an outstanding place for me to shop going way back to the 1970s.

Currently The Sears located at Bayshore Mall is closing... Absolutely great deals. Liquidating even the shelves in the warehouse. Get yours whiles the close-out is still happening.

I ordered a bed three weeks ago. They call and say they are delivering it and never show up. Today makes the third time. When I call they lie to me and say its coming and it doesnt come. I have each call recorded of them lying too me.

I used to love Sears. Every time I reluctantly need to buy something there now, they screw it up. Whether its the product that fails or promises they dont keep once they have your money. Their customer support is ridiculous. They seem to have one goal and its to piss you off and pass you on to another department until you loop right back to the original after two hours on the phone. All while nothing gets resolved. Honestly, if you can help it, dont buy from Sears. If youre hoping they will back their products, they dont. If something goes wrong, they can care less about how to help. This is coming from someone that has given Sears way to many chances to prove themselves and have lost thousands as a result. If we had any other store closer than 150 miles from here, I would never give them another penny. I cant wait for the day they go out of business and the local store gets replaced by something much better.

Worked here for seven months and recently quit. Would recommend the rewards program but not the credit cards. Great clearance deals and nearly everything is on sale. Outdated fashion and very outdated technology. Poor management. No jewelry or watch repair available in store, not even battery replacements.

I had help. I bought a new lawn mower . The sales kid checked everything out and made sure they had it in stock. He was very courteous . And didnt rush me .

I went to sears to purchase a vacuum, fantastic customer service! The gentleman helping me was friendly and knowledgeable. I was in and out of there in no time confident in my purchase.

Sometimes they have very good quality clothing for a great price, but I can never seem to get the help I need from anyone working near the clothing departments. My main reason for only three stars is because I have dealt with having to leave things behind that I had planned on purchasing, because of pricing errors that no one seemed to care to help me with or correct either the signage or the price of the items affected. The first couple of times that happened I figured it was an honest mistake that just happens sometimes, but after the 5th time in a row I just give up...

Im going to miss Sears. This whole county ihas really been hit hard because of the marijuana going legal and m seeing a lot of business close down permanently, else leaving the area. ....So this is the big picture we all imagined as we were conned by our politicans.

I was looking for bras, Im 42DD. WE NEED MORE OF THESES. There was only 8 larger size ones. This are their are a lot more larger woman then small. In this area. Plz keep a more larger sizes bras.

Orginally came to the mall to shop at a different store and ended up using the restroom and never left! Sears really exceeded my expectations with there prices and variety of cloths, home goods, tools, jewelry etc... the staff was slim but helpful and very happy they had a clean restroom for me to use witch lead to a unexpected shopping spree!!!

I have always been greeted and treated with respect as the customer here, with more than enough asisstence in every department, most especially in tools, power tools, etc... I thank these folks for their dedicated service and continue to serve others with the same kindness! 🌻

Dont do business with Sears anylonger due to their return policy. Its been well over 15 years since my family quite Sears. Good riddance.

Decent but the auto section blows and prices are too high in mens for what they offer.

Jose in the automotive dept was awesome. Great customer service skills. On the other hand the retrooms were out of order. They told me I had to go to Ross to pee.

My husband and I went in the buy all new appliances for our kitchen in the beginning of December, being told that they would all be here by the 17th. Which was perfect since we needed all these before the holidays. Three weeks later we still havent received some of our products and know bring told they wont be here till the beginning of January. Its been awhile since I have been in a store that is so unorganized and poorly managed. They promise you things that they cant keep. If I knew this when I brought the appliances I would have never came here in the first place. Knowing what I know now I wont do this mistake again.

Wow, unbelievably poor service!! I will definitely NEVER shop here again. Typical Humboldt store where the employees have no sense of professionalism and put forward an attitude that theyre extremely annoyed to have to do their job. No customer service whatsoever. The management (rude lady named Shelly) was just as poor quality. No professionalism whatsoever.Im waiting for a call from store manager Merly Hunt. So far no acountability shown...

A one-star rating because not only is the selection sparse but the customer service is absolutely terrible. Shelley accused me of shoplifting along with telling me it was 8 when it was 5 minutes before. I will be returning everything I bought tomorrow. It is no surprise to me this store is shutting down.

In May 2017, my family and I purchased a washer and dryer from Nathan (Nate) Leschner at the Eureka store (Bayshore Mall). Nate was simply wonderful and restored our interest in shopping at Sears. In addition to being professional, pleasant, courteous, and attentive, he was impressively knowledgeable about each appliance we inquired about, from washers and dryers to refrigerators and ranges. Sell your stock while you can.. overpriced. The selection seems to be stuck in the 1990s.. you can even order Craftsman tools on Amazon.. what is the point? Close already..

This store had had the same layout for 30 years. Womens clothes are old ladyish. Womens pants are all very short. Their best items are the Craftsman tools selection and large appliances.

Sears always a great place to shop for many years I will always go back.

Sales people in hardware were helpful, but did not find any welding hose there, went to Eka Oxygen instead they had hose there.

The very WORST customer service Ive ever experienced. Took my money, promised a delivery date 5 weeks in the future, and then failed to let me know that there was a delay. When I called them, it appeared the order was never placed, and they wanted to VOID my receipt, the only thing I had to prove Id given them over $2k for an oven and microwave.NOPE! Then I was escalated to Merel, the store manager and gave me yet another delivery date, 2 weeks in the future. That one came and went, and again, NO CALL, no email, nothing. I called in, and they had NO RECORD of my order at all, once again, and now its been almost 2 months with no oven. Turns out, the warehouse guy was more effective and powerful than the store manager, and he got it in over the next weekend.DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! They will lie to your face about the product, their experience with it, and when youll have it. RUN AWAY!!!

You can never find an employee to help or ring you up, unless in the appliances department. Theres a rude nasty guy that occasionally can be found working in the mattress department. If you can find anyone in apparel its an older lady that cant even operate the cash register. She literally kept trying...15 mins later (we kept trying to leave & she kept saying oh I got it this time, we were trying not to be rude) we repeated for the 5th time, thats ok well go to another register, & finally walked off. Only a matter of time before it closes. We never go there, complete waste of time.

Good for outdoor shopping and hiking but so quiet there.

Started out with a terrible experience.... ordered fridge and freezer.... was supposed to be there the next week.... almost a month later after 5 post ponings i went to get my money back.... irradiated dosnt quite explain how i felt.... one of the sales guys chris listened to ...the deal gave me 10 % off payed the delivery fees and delivered both the next day. I thank him for his over and beyond customer service.... as for return business i dont think Ill be going back.... ...the five stars is purely to his customer service.

THREE times I tried to order online with Sears, once even on the phone with a REPRESENTATIVE LIVE, and everytime my order was held for security verification. And EVERYTIME I provided the information requested to the security department and EVERYTIME the security department said the order world go through and be processed. And EVERYTIME an hour or so after getting off the phone with the security department I received an email starting my order was CANCELED!!! I am all for internet shopping security but this was absolutely ridiculous! And for an item, the same item everytime, of less than $40, that was not available in my local store. I answered every question they asked, former addresses, contact association (Are you or have you ever known someone named.... The person is my son) email address, physical address, employment history, you name it. Oh, but the charge for each item stayed on hold for over a week, a total of over $100. I finally asked the security representative if they ever managed to actually make an online sale. I will NEVER shop Sears again! I would give negative stars if I could. I finally ordered a comparable item from Amazon but by then it was too late for delivery by Christmas and this was meant to be a Christmas present. Sears, you deserve to go out of business!

Went to buy an in stock freezer and because of incompetent sales staff I walked away. Should have taken 20 minutes from walking in the store to driving off with it and took over 45 to get nothing. Guy couldnt even find a manager for me to talk to.
