I really appreciated Jeff today. I feel he makes this store1000 times better and I’m happy to be a t mobile customer
This place is a joke. I am a sprint customer of 19 plus years and I was super excited to see the merger with T mobile so I could avoid an trip to Redding to get new phones, etc. with having a local store. WELL........ I had recently contacted the T- mobile store to upgrade my phone. I spoke with 2 different employees ( NOT FRIENDLY) who both stated that they (t-mobile) didnt have any phones in stock that worked with Sprint. (HUH?) They claimed while activating a sprint customer to the T-mobile network, they were having problems and that they couldnt help me at all. I would have to call Sprint and order a phone myself. (again...HUH?) I express to the t-mobile employee that I was extremely confused as to why I could just purchase a t-mobile phone and have it activated because both carriers are now one. They gave me some long drawn out explanation that made NO sense, at all. Being frustrated i ended up calling another T-mobile store (in Redding) the employee there confirmed that the 2 persons I had spoke to in Eureka didnt know what they were doing. Redding offered to assist me if I wanted to drive out. Ultimately, I called Sprint and bought a phone. My phone was here the next day along with a T-mobile sim card (the reason t-mobile couldnt active a new phone for me, being I had sprint), I called and had it activated within 30 mins, data transferred with NOT ONE PROBLEM! Beyond easy! Thanks T-mobile FOR NOTHING! DONT DO BUSINESS HERE
I went today with my Husband for a simple switch in activation. Mind you, we are both Hispanic I speak fluent English and Spanish I went to help my husband. Tami (who has a “se habla español) was so condescending, beyond pushy, rude and vile. She was snarky and most likely has no idea what customer service means. I asked Nichole to help me as she is always so kind and willing. My experience with Tammi was terrible to say the least. Though the situation was getting awkward Nichole was great and helped us get what we came for. (which was good customer service and a simple phone switch.) Can’t say the same for Tammy’s lack of professionalism. She got to see a side of me that rarely comes out. Moral of the story? If you don’t like where you work? Do us all a favor and quit!
** Update*** Thank you to Nick, Jeff and James for addressing all my concerns! Ive been pleased with my switch to T-Mobile and am enjoying my new phone.I decided to make the switch from Verizon so my BF and I could be on the same plan. He loves T-Mobile and has never had any issues. I was told that they could pay off my existing phone with Verizon and that I could keep my current verizon phone with no issues. After I switched my number and paid they informed me that they actually couldnt pay off my current phone due to it no longer being eligible. We had more issues that night with my phone but they fixed them after a return visit. I quickly realized the next day I was no longer receiving texts. I called customer service. After hours on the phone I was informed that the only true fix would be to get a new phone from T-Mobile. The following day a supervisor on the phone was able to get me receiving texts but they are still delayed and I receive 5 of the same text. I feel like I was lied too and now Im forced to get a new phone that I cant afford. Feeling very frustrated! I was hoping for a better experience.
Great customer service
Rude as hell going to call tomorrow when manager is is his name is jeff
I walked in and started browsing the watches; I was out shopping with my elderly Father. My Father walked in and made his way to the counter where he wanted to discuss his bill. The district manager who was called Nathan started talking to my Dad but not how he had been talking with others at the store. He started talking to my Dad like he was on an episode of Soul Train. Pandering to him, insulting his intelligence, and ruining this client relationship. This franchise needs a lot of work. They’ve turned our family against them.
The manager at this store, Caleb, was the funniest, most helpful, most informative employee Ive ever met. Not only was he cool, easy to talk to, very knowledgeable about the store and its products, but he also helped my friend get her stolen phone back. Caleb is an amazing manager and a hero. Go visit him at the store!!!
The people here are genuinely great. They care about their customers. Caleb, the manager, is especially amazing. I’m already a carrier of T-Mobil, but my friend was there to buy a case. He was super nice and joking around with us the whole time. He was able to find a super sick case for my friend’s phone. Even after we left, he was amazing. I accidentally left my phone on the counter and one of the customers tried to pretend it was her’s. We called the store and he was able to get my phone back. He literally did everything he could and I couldn’t be more grateful. Caleb is the best!!!
They are rip offs
The manager Nicolle is extremely rude and condescending.Called Tmobile and they took care of the problem since I couldnt work with her.
Simply the best. Best coverage, best prices, best data speeds, amazing features like free international roaming, free Netflix, and more. Only one place have I found it to have worse coverage, and that’s the highway 36 drive including Ruth and the river areas.Nice people working here too.
Updated review.. had to get a new phone Sunday. Kamie was so helpful and informative. Plus she got me a good deal on new phone.Jade and Hunter were amazing, extremely helpful and made my experience enjoyable. The other 2 girls were not professional what so ever! In Chico it took 40 minutes to get a new phone. Here it took hours...
Horrible place staff lie about charges and about accessories and when I when back they did not admit they were lying Customer Support over the phone help me because this location only cares the commission they make
They have very knowledgeable people, very helpful.
Very nice employees. If you try to get your phone unlocked tmobile wont do it.Update: switched over from Verizon a few weeks ago. Not much but too late to switch. The Hispanic woman helping me was rude and tried to overwhelm me so I would buy something more expensive.
Great store. Associates were super helpful and the coverage out here is even better than Verizon. So glad I switched.
Nice people, horrible signal everywhere in Humboldt. Smart phones are unuseable unless youre in eureka.
The manager here is really awkward and condescending. The young lady that helped me had to get help five different times during my activation process and they promised theyd get my pictures from my old phone but the girl deleted everything accidentally she said. I lost some really special memories. Bad start so far... I shouldnt have switched I dont even get service in Mckinleyville, and the call quality sucks.
I waited in this store on Monday and the staff member was busy so I waited for literally 45 minutes for another employee. The manager walks in reeking like stale cigarettes and sweat and had the nerve to just nonchalantly say, what am I doing for you today?I explained and excused myself to the bathroom and just ended up walking out in disgust. I went to Costco T-Mobile and didn’t wait and I saved a couple hundred dollars... I’ve run out of excuses for this mall or this store.
Worst cellphone store and employees in the industry.I went in there and its a total joke and so is the clown that manages the place.
We and my girlfriend came over and we are happy with the service and the staff and store were real good too real fun place to shop and such
I have been with T-Mobile since the store came to the Bayshore Mall.
We love having TMobile here, what an incredible and talented team theyve assembled lately.
Very helpful staff.
The lady working at the counter didn’t even try to help us
Absolutely fantastic staff. They’ll take care of you.
Came in looking to add some services to my account. Was told someone else would come out and help us cause the only one on the floor was with someone. Waited 30 minutes with no explanation as to why this other person isn’t showing up and walked out. It takes us time and money to get to this location and the lack of care is pathetic. Don’t waist your time trying to deal with these guys.
Coming from Verizon the coverage actually surprised me. I was expecting worse, but at my friends houses in Rio dell and Hydesville got “1x” or “extended 1x” on their Verizon phones but I got LTE on T-Mobile. I felt kind of bad for them when I was outside on Snapchat but they had to go back inside to get WiFi in order to be able to use the internet. Eureka has been great too. More or less the same signal as Verizon, but my data has been a lot faster! No more loading on Snapchat or instagram, and I can download an app on LTE in just seconds. My family of 6 switched a few weeks ago, and since my dad is a veteran, so we got an even lower price. $200 for 6 people with unlimited everything? Great. “Is anyone a military or veteran?” Yeah? “Awesome! You can get 50% off your family plan”. We were shocked. Our price ended up being $120 for all 6 of us, and we even got 6 brand new phones 50% off, because they were bogo. I’m surprised so few people in the area use T-Mobile. Maybe it’s because they used to be bad here? My friends that use to have T-Mobile a couple years ago said there were so many areas with bad signal, but I’ve been to many of those areas and have yet to see no signal like they were describing. My phone worked just fine?? T-Mobile must have built a Bunch of new towers in humboldt last year, because so far in my experience it’s been BETTER than Verizon.
Slow and not very knowledgeable.
Not to great on customer service👎👎👎👎
The staff including the manager has zero knowledge and theyre extremely pushy. Im going back to Verizon... Worst experience ever!
