Sold me the wrong tires last year, then refused to fix the problem. Doesn’t matter that 3 other tire places say they are wrong, their manager thinks he knows the inner workings of vehicles enough to say, that’s not possible.
The staff was very friendly yet professional. All were very knowledgeable and capable which made my first, but not last visit great. I felt very comfortable that my vehicle was well taken care of. Special thanks to Adam who made sure things were handled accordingly. Im glad I found this place, its a little hidden, but the find is worth it.
Little hiding but not to busy. Nice people
I take all my vehicles here. Not saying they are the cheapest but they normally get my vehicles fixed on the first attemot.
Fast work. Friendly price and people. And the shop truck is back on the road
Very helpful and knowledgeable
Tried very hard to get the parts I needed, when that didn’t work were very helpful in getting me on my way. Very nice, very professional.
I have a wonderful experience today! I got my oil changed and these guys have been helpful the whole time. I had some questions and Adam knew exactly what I was talking about and explained everything in a way I understood! Thank you Adam and thanks to your team! Definitely recommend and I will be coming back!
Ive been doing business with H&H service center for years. If you want an honest repair shop with highly qualified mechanics, amazing rates and some of the best customer service in Fairbanks this place is for you!Recently had my transfer case replaced and due to faulty internal components it had to be warrantied out. Adam the Service manager went above and beyond to make sure both my vehicle and myself were taken care of. They made the entire process as painless as possible if i could leave more than 5 stars i would.
We were in such a tight spot for time and Adam worked with us so much. This is the ONLY spot in town you should go for an RV. He worked with us so much and gave us updates every day (which I’m sure got annoying but we appreciated it immensely). From cost, to communication, to timelines we give H&H 10/10.
The customer service was awesome! From the convenient drop off to the pick up, Adam was completely helpful. They kept me informed both verbally and via their computer platform and I appreciated the transparency. They were very knowledgeable and it is nice to have a full service place for RVs in Fairbanks!
We were traveling through Alaska in July and I completed an oil change at a campground but my class A rig still needed a lube job. The guys at H&H were able to fit us in. Most importantly, while they were performing the lube, they found a mounting bolt that had stripped out of one of the track bars. They replaced it for us and we were on our way. Thanks guys!
Friendly staff and great service. WeWe’re traveling in AK in our motor home and took it there for an oil change. They worked us in to their busy schedule an we were in and out quickly. Thanks guys!
It should be more than 5 stars. We are traveling from Florida in a 40 motorhome and needed service in Fairbanks, AK. Oil, filter, total checkup after 7,000 miles on the road. I called on Wed and I could tell right away this business is very customer focused. Donnie scheduled me for service Fri morn. They took care of the service and also found a few issues with the coolant and some service codes in the computer. The price was more than reasonable. Now the best part. They had to remove the lower part of my roof ladder to get to the engine for service. They forgot to put it back and I did not discover it until we got to Denali. Donnie called me Tuesday morning, apologized for the mistake and drove the 130 miles to Denali to deliver the ladder. Outstanding service and most I have dealt with would not have gone out of their way to proactively call and admit their mistake, much less drive 130 miles to correct it. I would highly recommend H&H to anyone visiting or living in or around Fairbanks, AK. Thank you Donnie and H&H Service Center.
Great servicing! They got us in fast and the RV was done the same day. It is nice to be able to take our RV in to one place where they can work on the mechanical part and the coach part!!
If you want a thorough checkup on your car, truck, or rv, this is the place to be. Other places dont do as good of an inspection for you but they do. Staff are very responsive, knowledgeable, and personable. Prices are affordable as well.
Have a new Redwood 5th wheel with a few issues, they did an awesome job in repairing the problems. Great service, fair prices, and good customer service each time. These guys have earned all my business in the future for the RV.
Got us in quickly with promises but did not do everything they said they would and charged a bundle. Yes, the new alternator was in but not a new belt, and the next mechanic criticized the shoddy way they attached it. Beware.
The service was pretty good as I was not from Fairbanks area when the truck quit. They were able to get me in and the troublesh[ting and repairs done so I could return home. The only complaint that I has was the up charging on one of the parts was real excessive over 300%.
Having recently had to deal with Intoxalock, I have to say that H& H service was the only place that treated me like a human being rather than just a stream of numbers in an algorithm. The people I worked with at H&H Service were polite and thoughtful. They knew a lot of the issues I was having with getting information out of the other parties involved and managed to help me leave with a smile on my face knowing that they had helped me to the best of their ability. After 6 months of run around, dead ends, and out right lying from the other parties involved, I was very grateful to their team for their honesty and integrity. If ever I need anything done with my car I would for sure go back.I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for making a truly awful experience with my interlock device at least somewhat more manageable. I would highly recommend them. Thank you again. You really did make a difference in this process.
Fast, friendly and quite knowledgeable. I was really impressed with the facility and wonderful service. I will be back!
Very nice people. We were in the middle of a Journey from Northern Illinois to Fairbanks Alaska inner RV. And they had us in and right back out in no time without any previous appointment.
If you like to have the same repair done over and over, this is your repair center. If you want it done right the first time choose someone else. If I could Id give them a negative 5. star rating. Since Adam took over from Ron as manager there has been nothing but problems with my vehicle. I cant warn people away enough.
An excellent place to get robbed before you actually get your truck fixed. I got an estimate that costed me $150. Turns out that the leak I had was not even close to where they said it was coming from. If you use them make sure you do your research before you pay them to fix anything. They almost got me for 14 hours of labor at $141 / hour. Shop around.
Awesome customer service..... Seemed like all fees are based on $140 an hour rate. Had rear differential rebuilt on my RV, 6 tires rotated for $3,157. Spent the day there and was offered a car to go somewhere.... had no place to go. Keep checking on me.... like I said great customer service just a tad hourly rate higher than I am used to paying in the Lower 48. But hey, it had to be done!
Despite some initial communication issues the crew at H and H went above and beyond to make the situation rightAppreciate they actually care to have excellent customer service and follow up.
Excellent! They got me in and out in one day so that I could continue my trip. They really cared about both the quality of repair and getting it done quickly.
After taking my car to two other places and having been told there was nothing wrong with it, H&H was recommended and I took it over there and they found out what was wrong withe the winterization and fixed the short for me . Great service got me in very soon and out very soon. I would certainly recommend them to any one Sandra Widener,
Excellent diesel mechanic, a little high in price but you get what you pay for and they stand behind their work.
Great place to have your vehicle (rv) worked on. Very informative and friendly.
Worked hard to get the repairs accomplished even when the wrong parts were sent.
Awesome experience! I wish I had come here first! Steve is absolutely wonderful!
Excellent service and quick turn around. My wife drove our rv up from Wasilla for a dog show. Along the way she developed a front end shake. She took it in and talked to a young man named jon. Not sure how long hes been doing this but he explained everything perfectly to my wife she sounded like she has been working on cars all of her life when she explained it to me over the phone. That type of service is rare where we live. We are seriously considering driving our Kia up for an oil change!
I had been calling around for quotes on an alignment on my 1 ton truck. It keeps pulling and it seems that everytime I get an alignment it still pulls after some time but either way I needed one because I have new tires and I dont want to ruin another set. AFter asking questions about their alignment I was told that what they like to do is to do a front end shakedown first if the truck had a lot of miles or been a while since it was previously done. I of course didnt know what that meant and he explained that he goes over all the parts on the front end to look for worn out parts that would cause alignment problems. My front end had lots of stuff that is needing new parts and wouldnt hold an alignment into place if I got one at this point. I was delighted with the price and the experience. I was a walk-in and got my truck immediately pulled in to start the work. The guys are very accommodating and concerned about the customers. He didnt want to sell me something that I didnt need or wouldnt help my situation at this time, so I appreciate the honesty. I even got a free soda. If we are back in town again we will be back....Im heading out of town tomorrow so I only wish I could of gotten the actual work done there!
I am from Texas. I went in to have them look at why my brakes were pulling to the left when I was going down grades and trying to burn off speed. I would jab the brakes long enough to burn off about 10 MPH. It was scary having my Roadtrek try to dart into oncoming traffic. I read reviews and decided this looked like the place to take it.What a disappointment. They tried to sell me a whole new front end (including tie rod end adjusters (I have never seen one of those wear out)) at a cost of over $4,000. They never addressed the bad caliper that was found at another place in town that I ended up taking it to. The only usefull information I got from them was that my wheel bearings on the front were loose.I think they saw someone far from home and tried to sell me the moon. My front end had been replaced only 30,000 miles before and was in good shape according to the other shop I took it to.I left there and went to an auto parts store lot to adjust the wheel bearings myself in case I needed new bearings. H&H couldnt do it for another week. After inspecting them, I did not need new bearings, they were just loose so I adjusted them properly. I put two new tires on the front and they show no uneven wear in over 5,000 miles of driving. This just proves the front end good.I used to drag race back in the 60s, so I do have experience turning a wrench. I am getting old and dont much care for wrench turning anymore.I took it to another shop in town that does brake work among other repairs. See my review there for a GREAT place. If you are from out of town, run away and leave this place in your dust. They probably do take good care of the locals though.
I have had two great RV service experiences with H and H Service Center in the last 12 months. Common elements with both interactions are: 1. Outstanding customer service 2. Performed service quickly and when promised. 3. Cheaper shop rates than all the other garages i have dealt with in the last 13 yrs in Fairbanks. The first experience was an oil change and rear differential fluid change in April 2016. A Seekins Ford service write recommended that I use H & H because his garage couldnt fit my 31 ft motor home. The second experience was a custom install of dual rear mud flaps because one of the factory mud flaps April 2017. The service writer, Steve, greets you immediately when you enter the service center with a smile and happiness in his voice. He asks you how can he help you, listens, keeps you informed of costs and completion. This dude is an awesome service writer. When you call H & H you get him, a live person, not a voice mail or phone tree. When I brought my RV in for the mud flap job, Adam walked out with me to see my RV wheel wells, listened to my concept for mud flap replacements, and promised to design a better mud flap mount and install better mud flaps. I wanted something to last the next 20 years. Steve, Adam and Adams mechanics exceeded my expectations. H & H also has a quick lane for tire change over and oil changes. They also work on every type of vehicle from Priuss to Ford RV power trains. I will be bringing my car, van, and RV into H & H Service Company for the next 13 years or longer because they have earned my trust. They guys are a great local outfit. If your vehicle needs repair, take it to H & H Service Center!
Great service, speedy fix and got me rolling again
Yes yes yes. The service is fantastic here and well worth it.
