I’ve always hated this place. But my friend is visiting and everywhere is either closed or packed due to the holiday yesterday. I warned her the coffee is bad and the food is mediocre at best. Well they messed up her food, and my drink, on top of having a rude barista. Take the extra time to sit in a line for a better coffee shop.

Food and service was great. I highly recommend anything with a croissant. The bagel sandwich was a little dry and needing something MOIST. Good food and coffee!

I either get a bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese on a cheesy bagel, or I get their meat burritos 🌯 it has bacon, sausage, cheese, had crispy potatoes in a soft tortilla!!! 😋 My drink is an iced vanilla chi tea. These girls that work I can always rely on an amazing morning! Thanks girls keep up the hard work!

Excellent matcha, good vibes and efficient staff. Bit of a wait but someone came out to take our order so it was ready by the time we pulled up to the window. Good prices, especially for Alaska!Edit- changed to 4 stars because I left the review before eating my bagel. The bagel really wasnt great.

I would give half a star if I could. This goes for every sunrise stand in fairbanks. Never had great experience with them. Kudos on what they do for the community though!! I mean that!!

Service is great, baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. Havent had a bad drink yet. Downside is its so good every time I go its about a 10-15 minute wait, so if youre in a hurry maybe settle for something else.

The best coffee hut by far. Sunrise coffees are consistently great and I love the flavor of espresso they use. Although they are frequently pretty busy, they work at a good clip and you’re never left waiting in line for too long. I’ll always choose Sunrise over any other hut. Keep up the good work, y’all!

The Rockstar kickers are amazing!!!

They get through huge lines quicker than most. And if they see a dog in your car, they hook it up with a treat! Coffee and food is always on point. Definitely in my top 5 coffee shops locally.

The food there is always amazing and the workers are super sweet and kind. The drinks though arent the best. Its definitely not my top choice to get a drink from but for a quick lunch or breakfast its my go to place.

I went to Sunrise on Old Steese and ordered a Canadian bacon egg and cheese croissant, the works bagel and two coffees. The lady asked me twice about my food order and she still got it wrong. I drove back because the croissant was a bagel and knocked on the door and told someone else what was wrong with my order and it had regular bacon in it and when I got home, the works bagel was just a sausage egg cheese. Its not that hard to remember what a customer requests.

Sunrise on College and Old Steese is my go-to location, staff always friendly and wonderful service even on the busiest of days!

Primarily visit the Steese/College location. The baristas are amazingly kind and remember faces/ orders. I really enjoy their Amaricano as well as their version of a Reuben (on a bagel).

Paige and Maren are the best! The kickers and cinnamon rolls are amazing.

A person on foot stole my place in line by walking in front of my truck. She must have been very confident that I would not beat her unconscious before parking on her head. Shes super lucky that I found Jesus before she found coffee.

This place is AMAZING! Their sandwiches are some of the BEST we’ve had! I’ll tell you instead of going to McNasty this place is much BETTER food wise, taste and PRICE! They are always friendly and patient! LOVE this place! They have cute little bagels that a 2 year old can enjoy and other goodies. Thank YOU guys for being AWESOME!

I love sunrise. I go about 4-5 times a week and get a bagel sandwich or a drink. The lines are long which sucks BUT obviously that means everyone loves it so it is definitely worth the wait.

Coffee awesome but bagels toasted were cold several times in a row: i kept hoping it was just an isolated experience but multiple times received cold toasted.bagel with way too much cream cheese. The heavy cream.cheese wouldnt have bothered me near as much if the toasted bagels.were not consistently cold. It like they started to Pre- toast for busy times to save time. Its DISGUSTING

The line was long and took forever to get my order taken. Now I know why, one employee is talking to customers at the other window instead of making orders. The other employee is working hard to get the orders out on her own.

The variety of flavor and food items. The employees are always super froendly. When you are at the window you get the feeling they arent rushed and you are just another car. I feel wanted and they are there to serve, not just a paycheck.

Mmmm I ordered a large white mocha with an extra shot of espresso for my husband - and I stole some sips on my way to give it to him. ;) heh. Boy was it delicious! They have some genuinely good coffee here.We also ordered a bagel and cream cheese - I just got a plane bagel but there are quite a few bagel types to choose from. The cream cheese was soooo deliciously perfect on top of my very large, toasted bagel.Last but not least was the potato, egg, & cheese breakfast burrito (with salsa inside it).It was nice and hot.I had half expected to receive something McDonalds would serve - an overcooked hashbrown on a small tortilla with a weird looking egg and fake American cheese. But this burrito was genuinely delicious - real eggs potato and cheese. They toasted the tortilla first giving it a bit of a crunch before adding everything else. It was as good as the breakfast burritos I make at home.I have to say I am very impressed with this place. Their food was absolutely delicious (with good portion sizes), great coffee, and fast friendly service. I cant wait to come back and try more

Slow at 1:30 in the afternoon with only 4 cars in line. Finally got to the window at 1:50pm told gal what drink had to repeat 3 times. Order a chicken bacon ranch as well. Gal asked sandwich or wrap. Sandwich .... Gave us a wrap.... Said sandwich twice.. Boyfriend couldnt even finish it due to leaking water from being frozen.... Wrap nasty... Coffee was ok.. Didnt really taste like they put the extra scoop of favor in it.. But still paid. 🤷

Ive never had a good experience here. Not because of the baristas, they are very nice, but because of the coffee and food. Cold coffees are awful (every time Ive gotten one) and I just ordered a breakfast sandwich and my egg wasnt cooked.

Itd be cool to offer all the options for a breakfast burtito while being a stuck up botch and then try to act nice after I hand a 10 dollar tip over after I ask for whipped cream in my hot chocolate and for it to not burn my damn tounge when I sip it. Shop across from the Fred Meyers West needs some new employees.
