Excellent services! This AutoZone store is the closest one to my home and I always go there for small auto parts. Today I have to check my engine light code and get a new low beam bulb replaced for my Mercedes-Benz car. The weird headlight design makes it very hard to replace light bulb. After I consulted the store technician Chris if I have the correct light bulb for low beam, Chris offered to help me check and replace it. As the light design is so different and so hard to access, it even took Chris half hour to finally secure the new light bulb. I fully appreciate the good services from the store and Chris for going extra-miles to help customers out!
I’ve been coming here for three years and the customer service has been great up until few months ago. The manager Brad can be very arrogant and shows a lack of interest in wanting to assist with certain customers/ things. It’s shocking considering that I had just given a manager a very good compliment on the customer service in this store. Everyone else I have worked with here has been extremely helpful however he has made me feel unwelcome in this store on three occasions but I’m going to continue to come here and hopefully one day he will learn to treat everyone equally and with respect.
What a great experience today! It was the third parts store I went to and I was finally able to get what I needed thanks to Travis!He was knowledgeable, energetic, and empathetic. Travis knew exactly how to troubleshoot my issue and help me get the correct serpentine belt for my Chevy Trailblazer.Im a very happy customer and think I found my new go to parts store. My car wouldnt start and the place I normally take it for service gave me the next appointment- ten days out. No good! So I got my multimeter and Google and verified my hunch that it was time to replace the battery.I called AutoZone and they verified they would help me change the battery right there so I got the jumper cables and drove over.It was about 8 PM and I figured the guy behind the counter would be annoyed by my request. To my surprise he was happy and helpful from start to finish. I learned a couple of things from chatting with him through the process which took about 20 minutes.I believe that he would have helped me test the battery to verify that it was the problem if I had asked. In any case, it was faster and cheaper by half compared to the service center. Recommended.

I had a fantastic experience at this store.Prior to coming here, I went to the AutoZone store in South Riding to get my battery replaced. The service rep looked up my car info and discovered that my vehicle would require more than 30 minutes to service. Because of that, they refused to service my vehicle. Apparently it was a store policy to refuse service for vehicles that could take longer than 30 minutes to work on. I was a bit annoyed because about 4 years ago, I had my battery replaced at the AutoZone store in Fairfax Boulevard without any issues. If I recall correctly, it didnt take 30 minutes.I left the South Riding AutoZone and came to this store to see if they could service my vehicle like they did 4 years ago. And voila! The service rep checked my vehicle info and said he could definitely work on it. The transaction went smoothly and the rep came out to service my vehicle right away. What was surprising was that the rep was able to complete the battery replacement in less than 10 minutes. The rep was kind, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the entire process.Ive been coming here for years and had nothing but pleasant experiences. I will definitely refer this store to others!
Inefficient check out process - I went in to simply return an item and waited in the check out line for 30 minutes. Theyve got the same people managing the cash register that are also going out and testing car batteries and/or trying to find parts from the endless rows of inventory shelves. If somebody in line in front of you wants their battery tested, you will be waiting until that is done, unless you get lucky and another cashier shows up. They need to keep responsibilities of check out team members separate from those managing outside car testing and inventory searches .
Chirs was very helpful. I didnt know what exactly I was looking for my vehicle but he was patient to help me find the correct item and fix the issue with my car door. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

The store itself is decent but what makes it great is that Chris is there to help if you need anything. He is knowledgeable but more importantly friendly and helpful; a great combo.

AUTOZONE AUTO PARTS FAIRFAX #1665I went to autozone on 4/11/21 without a mask because of a medical condition I have.When I was standing in line, the associate named Durwood who was with a customer, stopped what he was doing with the customer at his counter and began arguing with me about putting on a mask, AFTER I told him that I could not wear a mask due to a medical conditionDurwood told me that I would have to leave the store and that I would not be helped after I told him that in Virginia I could not be denied entry or service if I had a medical condition which prevented me from wearing a maskBecause of Durwoods misguided arguing with me in front of other customers, these other customers began to engage into the conversation with vulgarity and threats towards me. At no time did I respond with any vulgarities or any threatening manners towards Durwood, or any of other customers who chose throw insults.I left the store as I saw there was a phone number for the regional/district manager on the outside of the door when I first entered. I called the district manager Joseph Stevens and was told that I was correct and that I could not be denied entry or service, and that he would call the store.I reentered the store, Durwood began shouting for me to leave in front of other customers, I told him a district manager would be calling the store to correct him.The other customers resumed their repeated vulgarities and threats.There was a customer who walked into the store with a dog, Durwood did not ask them if it was a service animal or if they were simply bringing their personal pet into the store. It was a large sized dog and was not wearing any service animal vest or equipment. The dog owners who heard Durwoods vocal breakdown, began cursing at me in passing.You have a situation where an employee named Durwood was not only misinformed on covid policy, after I politely told him that I had a medical condition and that I could not be denied entry or service because of that.His arguing with me, from across the store, with multiple customers between us, endorsed the other customers fear to be expressed by lashing out at me with vulgarity and threats, which he did nothing to curtail or control.If Durwood was truly concerned with covid policies, no social distancing was enforced as people were standing close together in line and he said nothing to the couple who brought their personal dog into the store. Dogs are not immune from spreading covid.Store employees are free to review the security footage of the entire incident and verify all of my claims.it was yesterday, 4/11, around 1:40pmTo anyone who thinks that Durwoods actions were justified, you are 100% within your right to agree with what he did, but that does not make them legal, right, or within autozone policy.I have included a photo of the gentleman who identified himself as an attorney, who then proceeded to insult me, unprovoked. He is getting into a grey Honda S2000, VA tags UVW-8481.
Great experience at the local AutoZone! They had exactly what I needed when I stopped in today to grab parts for a transmission fluid change. Bill in particular was extremely helpful, taking time from stocking to assist me in finding the right gasket sealer for what I needed. He’s a great associate and makes the store all the better
Yesterday I could not get my battery replaced until right before closing around 10pm. Demond (I think, I didnt get a great look at the nametag) and Dennis at the end were so friendly and helpful. They worked with my rusty, small car and did not complain once. They definitely deserve a raise and praise!! Thanks guys!

I am very pleased with the service provided by Steven, a dedicated AutoZone Auto Parts store in Fairfax. Steven has provided service with his honesty, integrity, and high-quality work. When I visited the store to have my car battery replaced, Steven diligently checked the warranty of my old battery, which I also got from Autozone in another state. Steven found out that I still have an active warranty so he got my battery replaced with a new one, without me paying anything. He installed the new battery for me with some tips and tricks related to battery maintenance and installation. I highly recommend Fairfax AutoZone for any kind of car part replacement and all your service consultation needs. And dont forget... Steven is the best! :)

Best auto parts store in the verse! Came in for a couple items to pass inspection. The Saturday crew today was on point. They were very organized, timely, professional, and go out of their way to help you out if they can. Some of the best prices in the area, too. Ive saved a ton of money on costly repairs thanks to this place! They never make you feel like youre bothering them, always happy to help with recommendations. If only more shops were this great!

I love this AutoZone! They are professional, polite and knowledgable.I recently had a bad experience where I purchased a battery six months prior for my son’s car from a COMPETITOR of AutoZone. I won’t name the competitor, but I will say that they are not too “advanced“.This other company sold me the battery which never held a charge from day one. They landed on my car and said my car was making the battery go bad. I finally went back and just told him I would pay for a new battery. Once I had given them my credit card and paid for that battery, they refused to install it. Even though they installed the battery previously. The other “advanced“ company, was rude, standoffish and condescending.By contrast, AutoZone knew exactly what to do and what I considerations were. The manager answered a couple of questions I had about loss of radio programming and swapped out my battery in five minutes.Please do yourself a favor. Go to AutoZone, not the competitor.
On the plus side, it was a quick stop to get the code for my check engine alert on my car, for free.On the very negative side, the guy who checked my car code was so rude and abrasive, he couldnt be bothered to answer a single question as to what the actual problem on my car may be, nor offer any suggestions except to take it to someone who understands cars, nor enter the right info on my car code report (my mileage is off by 20,000 miles - is it even MY car report??) I dont even know if Autozone could have serviced my car or sell me the parts, nothing. The guy in the grey service shirt just couldnt be bothered at all. I asked if he could give me an idea about what type of service my car might need and he said, I cant teach you about cars! The whole experience took under 2 minutes, from checking the code to getting the wrong print out. Ive never been to an Autozone before and this experience made sure Ill never go into one again. Terrible.Now I have to go to a mechanic to get a code again. Total waste of my time.

I was told (after asking many AZ employees at that store), and found out that he was promoted to Manager at this Fairfax store. I was sad he was far, but not that far; I drove the many miles just to have him assist me. When you know and trust the best, you are guaranteed honest, customer service with competency and above all, kindness to customers. Ill keep on coming where Souleyman is. Great place! I had a problem with my front light bulbs, and two great workers helped me out finding new lights.
I went there to get a bulb for my Ford F 250 and the guy that helped me Bill was the most helpful guy I have every dealt with. He went out to my truck checked to make sure the bulb fit and was cheerful and so helpful. While I was there a friend of mine was getting a new battery and as we talked he said I have never seen customer service like this, these guys are great and we both left feeling like we got more service than any place we had been. I would never get auto parts from any other store.

It was dark and I needed two new low beam headlight bulbs. I was so worried about driving in the dark without lights, that I neglected to get the name of the clerk who asked if I wanted her to install them. YES! THANK YOU! What a relief! I wouldnt have tried to install them at night without adequate light. I am so grateful for her friendly and competent customer service. If store personnel see this, please let her know she is a wonderful employee.

I have several small touch ups to do in the near future to get inspection ready, and Im certain that Im going to come here for everything I need. Today I came in for tail light bulbs, and to help make sure I got the perfect compatibility I asked Jossie M at the desk to do a lookup. Not only did she look up my car, but she encouraged me to take down my car facts that my owners manual had been unable to provide. Now whenever I come back for my next need, Ill be more prepared than ever. It may be a small touch, but its very helpful. On top of that, when I went outside and put my tail light bulbs in, Eddy who was working outside didnt hesitate when I asked if he could tell me if they were coming on. He even had me do both signal directions and reverse for good measure. Another small touch that means a lot. If you want to feel like the employees want you to succeed, go here.

Today my alternator went out on my truck, and as I was pulling into the parking lot my truck had died with my car sticking a little out into the road. I called the store to see if they would be nice enough to either push me into the parking lot or if someone could jump me off. Mike answered the phone and quickly had an employee come help him. They both tried to push my truck, but with it being an expidition its a heavy for just two to push. So Mike went and got the jumper box and tried to start, he was so patient with me. I dont like to feel stranded and I tend to get a little worked up. The whole time he just keept re assuring me everything was going to be okay, and I wasnt in the road. He even offered to go get a cone to put behind me. He ended up going to go and get a service car since my truck was so dead it wouldnt start on the jumper box, and jumped off through the car and safely got me into the parking lot. He asked if I needed to come in and buy a battery and if so he could help, my husband was on the way so i told him i would wait and have him take a look and figure out the issue. Turns out it was the alternator. Regardless these guys were super sweet, and I couldnt be more thankful than I was.

Amazingly helpful, but it took a while to get helped. They need to have more than one person working up front on a Saturday afternoon especially when everyone needs assistance with parts, etc.

So my sisters car pretty much died in the middle of the street. Thinking it was the battery I went for help however it was something A LOT WORSE and we had no clue. We drove to this AMAZING STORE hoping to get some help bc a part from the battery piece was pretty much broken. So the nice manager there took the time TO DRIVE up to where the car was (wasn’t that far away from store!) but just to take the extra step showed so much care for a possible customer (we didn’t know if we needed to buy anything or if we needed to take it to an actual shop!) long story short.... this AMAZING PERSON took his time to fix the problem and even tho it may not be a permanent fix we were able to get the car started. (Forgot yo mention this car turned off twice before we made it to the store!!!) all the times this helpful an amazing person took the time to jump start the car and fix it to continue... anyway. THANK YOU AUTOZONE! This was the best experience we’ve ever had before! It’s good to know there are still some good people out there! Thank You to the manager there. I don’t know his name but this man just won heaven! Thank you!

Autozone is becoming not very competitive in price for many items. For example, I went to the Fairfax Autozone to buy 12 quarts of Castrol GTX oil. They wanted $7.49 a quart and I left refusing to pay that. I went to Home Depot and bought the Castrol quarts for $4.97. I saved $30.00!!! Very disappointed in a chain I always used...
I purchased a wiper but couldnt figure out how to remove old one and went inside for help. A guy at the desk told me to wait outside. Waited for 20 minutes until he came out to help another customer who was waiting behind in the waiting line. He passed by and completely ignored me.I had to return the item....Not a great customer service!
Purchased windshield wipers. I needed a specific type of blade for my car. The cashier was helpful however when I asked what the letter meant behind the blade number they said it did not mean anything they were all the same. Since they looked up the blades in their system I thought that might be what they had. Well it did matter. When I went to put the blade on it was too big. I had to make a trip back. It was a mistake but I expect them to answer questions for something as basic as wiper blades. I was able to return the blade without issue and I now have a nice set of wipers on my car.

The facility is clean and professional looking, but I should not have had to go here. I ordered the part online, using the configuration tool for batteries for my make, model, year, and trim, and it did not fit. The battery form factor was incompatible. Upon return, I was informed that the only alternative was a more expensive version. To be fair, the gentleman working there had no control of that, and was prompt in trying to assist as soon as we walked in the door. This review has more to do with saltiness that the online configurator appears to have a bad match for my vehicle.

I came to this Autozone because I had a check engine light come on. Not only did the employees check that for me, they also gave me advice on what could possibly be the cause (after taking it to a mechanic to get fixed, i found out they were right), they also gave me a ton of advice with other questions I had regarding products and how to utilize them. In my case this was refrigerants and A/C recharges. Incredibly friendly and helpful, I will be going to Autozone for supplies whenever I get the chance!

I went to get a seal for my car door. When I walked in yesterday a male clerk sighed when I walked in and rolled his eyes. I explained I needed a seal and he walked away. I followed him and he led me to an aisle. Without saying anything he hands me a liquid sealant.....I went in for a rubber seal. I tried to explain, and rather than having a conversation he just put random items in my hand. He then walked away to watch videos on his phone. I simply left due to the lack of customer service and information. Will not return and reccomend you save your time.
