I could not be happier with the services Craftsman provided. I had an emergency issue and took my car in at 10 am on Wednesday and had it back by 3 pm on Thursday. Everyone was friendly, prices were reasonable, and they made sure I fully understood what was going on through all of the process. They never pressured me into getting extra work done. As a bonus, they were totally decked out for Halloween and it was awesome. Definitely use them!!!

I made an appointment to have my tire and wheel checked, as it was going flat within a few hours of refilling it with air. Richard at Craftsman Auto care in Fairfax was able to diagnose the issue right away provide a speedy fix. They were professional and friendly and I’ll definitely return if in need of future car repairs. 5 stars!

I went in without an appointment and since it was a quick fix they helped me right away and I was on my way home in 15 minutes. I got my car checked here because of smoking under my hood and wanted a safety inspection. Got a call telling me things that were wrong in my car and what is broken and telling me it would be a couple thousands to fix if I wanted to keep it. I thought about just not using it anymore because it has cost a lot to keep it running and its an old car but I had to discuss with my dad and I wanted to get like an invoice of all the things that was wrong with the car. I still have not received any type of communication of what was wrong and/or broken in my car. So, I took it somewhere else because I wanted to save my car and they showed me around the car and had it written up what is going to be fixed and replaced for a little over 1,000. Way less than what this place was telling me.I thought this was going to be a good visit because I have came here once before, but nope.

Rick at the Lee Hwy location went above and beyond tonight helping my mom and I with a tire issue. We were very fortunate he was so willing to help in the middle of a thunderstorm. Thank you again! Wish you had a location in Prince William County!

These guys are the real deal. Old-fashioned, friendly service. Knowledgeable and efficient. On time and fairly priced. They performed the factory-scheduled one year service on my 2020 Range Rover Sport for less than the dealership would have charged. They also did the same for my wifes 2017 Porsche Macan and gave her a great price for all four tires that needed to be replaced. We will be going back when the need arises.

I dealt with Andrew. These guys are great. They also recently acquired a shop I used to go to in McLean, which has been around forever and was always top notch. Now were closer to their Fairfax location. Knowledgeable and prompt. They may be a little more expensive, but what isnt in Northern Virginia? Quality work makes it worthwhile.

I recently moved to the area and needed brake replacements for both the front and the rear of my vehicle. The technicians provided an impressive initial inspection including pictures which Ive never seen done. The job was completed same day, and the team went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the completed work. A little pricey, but that is to be expected for an auto repair shop with high quality results. All-in-all, a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone needing car repairs, inspections, or even a routine oil change.

I needed work done immediately on my Jeep. I searched and reached out through many outlets in search of someone reliable with great customer services that wasn’t going to charge me an arm and a leg for repairs. Brandon was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to help me feel better about my situation. Richard was so nice, answered whatever questions I had. Everyone here is very welcoming. Building is clean and so comfortable. Brandon walked me over to my vehicle and showed me exactly what was wrong and what I needed. Reggie was so kind and explained what he did and why. Everyone had reassured me through the process of what was going on. I will definitely come back in the future for any routine maintenance or repairs that I’ll need. Really reasonable pricing and done in a timely manner. I was able to get everything I needed including my inspections and emissions all in one trip.

Another business didnt help us despite having and appointment. We went to Matt Currys craftmans auto repair and Richard and Vincent took care of us immediately! Only needed a break light replaced and they fixed it right away, fixed the check oil light another place forgot to reset, and replaced my battery key all in about 15 minutes. Very helpful and friendly, will be back for any auto service I need in the future! If youre looking for a place that goes above and beyond this is it!

I needed to get my car inspected for my annual inspection and found this shop. They were very kind, did a full inspection and shared photos with me, and gave me some recommended services. Since I do several things on my own, I declined the services, but appreciated the non pushy offer with clear pricing. When I do need mechanic assistance, I will certainly bring my car back here.

I just moved to the area and had to get a flat tire fixed. I called Craftsman Auto Care. The area that stood out the most during the entire process was their excellent customer service. From the original call to the follow up to the general manager I met with to pick up my car, this was by far the best customer service I have received in a long time. They also gave me an honest assessment of my vehicle and they were not pushy in any way with their recommendations. I will definitely use them going forward and will highly recommend them to others.

Just a basic safety inspection, but had a great, easy, and seamless experience. Richard was personable, informative, consistently communicated with me on progress, and was welcomingly honest and open about timing, preventative measures they recommended, etc. highly recommend.

As always it’s great to have a shop that you can trust and who are dependable. Richard and his staff a Craftsman are top notch in customer service hands down! They take the time needed to fully understand what is needed for the job at hand or even for just what the customer wants. In these times of need it’s great to feel important and respected and to know that your mechanical issues have been completely addressed. That is very rare non day so I am glad that is what’s being expected and taught by the owner (Mr. Curry) himself and that is 100% what (Richard) the shops manager upholds every time I am at this shop. James and the office staff are very helpful and are backed up by some really skilled technicians who are knowledgeable and very proficient. Wonderful service here! I came in needing a tire patch and they had me in and out in under 30 minutes. I will certainly be coming back when I need new tires. I was having a problem with my light. I visited a craftsman 3 months before. They replaced the headlight but the problem reappeared. The mechanic who helped me fixed the problem (I believe it was a problem with the pins?) at no cost! The replacement was already affordable but I didnt pay anything, not even for looking!Thank you so much!

Would give this place 500 stars if possible! Read numerous reviews and they were all super positive. So I called the day prior and spoke with a really nice man about scheduling my state inspection. He said they dont schedule those, but to bring my car in the morning. Took it in the next morning and was warmly greeted outside by Rick (aka Rick James, nicknames are my own, lol) and he said to go inside and theyd help me. Richard (Sir Richard) immediately greeted me and was super kind and answered my million questions and got me scheduled quickly. James (King James) was also really kind and answered more questions. I was really looking for a new auto shop and this one has an awesome vibe. I felt comfortable and appreciated their patience. I live 4 minutes away and couldnt wait with the car so they took me home and picked me up when it was done! They texted me updates and the coolest thing was receiving by text my state inspection results with pictures and explanations! How cool is that?!! Christian, my technician, was superb! So kind and nice and treated my car as if it was his own. I couldnt have found a better shop with a better bunch of people. I thank yall so much for making my inspection easy and Ive found a new shop for me and my mom. Cannot recommend this place enough, A-1 quality and service!!

Richard is amazing. He picked my wife up from our house so she would not have to walk in the rain and heat, fixed our air conditioner in a timely manner, had a loaner car for us to during the repair process, supports the military with great discounts, and does great work.

These guys get it. My buddy that did all my work moved to SC, so I came back to Craftsman Ffx when I needed some tire, brake work, etc. Brandon talked things out over the phone and we got a good idea of what was needed. Parts ordered immediately. After I dropped my car off, not even 2 hours later I get a text with a link to a full diagnostic including pictures of what needed some love. No nonsense, just a clear view of things that needed to be handled, including some custom parts I wanted installed as well. The whole process was clean and quick. The whole team (forgetting names but you guys kill it) was awesome. If you need anything done and just want really good dudes to take care of it, this is the place. A few days ago I went to this location to get serviced for the multiple maintenance lights that were on. After a thorough exam of my car (they send the full report to your phone with pictures), they went through and recommended which services should be performed on my car. I got an oil change, transmission fluid, replaced my brakes/brake fluid, and fixed the air pressure in my tires, which were all desperately in need of being fixed. They literally fixed everything in 2 hours which was a lot less than what I was initially expecting. The staff was also very friendly, patient, and were more than happy to answer my questions. Highly recommend coming here :)

I found a shiny new nail in my tire this morning, and went by Craftsman to see if they could give me a quick patch. Brandon and Richard were honest, took care of us in short order when they promised, ran a very clean shop and waiting room and were really nice people to do business with; so MUCH so, I will only be getting my car repair needs done there from this morning forward. I would give these folks 10 out of 5 stars if it were possible.To put it simply, they ROCK!

Brought my car in for inspection after trying two other locations that were too busy for walk-ins. The inspection found two issues that would normally have required a second visit at a later date, but the team at Craftsman found a way to squeeze me into their schedule and even rush ordered repair parts form a nearby auto store and fixed everything same day. Very professional and friendly team, highly recommend Craftsman for any vehicle repair/maintenance services.

Super friendly people!! We came in to get an estimate for a broken windshield wiper 20 minutes before they were closing. The guy at the desk said he had a lot of cars to work on ahead of us but made the time to take a look at our problem. He fixed it for us for free in less than a minute!! Mason was our main service advisor and he was very helpful from the get go, he explained everything to us and gave us options, also a price that’s good enough for our budget (I only say good enough cuz I wasn’t ready to spend on front struts but Mason worked with us) so really everything was excellent!Richard was the one who handed the keys back to us, very professional and helpful as well!I will surely recommend craftsman auto for any auto service you need!

I have never found a better shop than Matt Curry”s Craftsman. The mechanics are top notch. They identify and solve the problems with expertise and efficiency. The office staff are friendly, reliable and honest. I have been impressed over and over again at the speed with which they return calls and keep me posted on progress. As a woman who has taught auto mechanics to women I seek out those shops that treat me as a knowledgeable consumer. These guys have never failed. By far the best place for service in Northern Virginia. I have had vehicles serviced here that range from a 25 year old Ford Ranger to a Tiguan and a BMW convertible. The same attention was given to each with the best possible results each time. They are simply The Best!

WOW. I was dreading today, having waited until my state inspection was almost expired, and expecting to wait several hours in line (because it’s also Saturday) to receive a new one. I walked in to Craftsman, passed the packed parking lot, and asked how long it would take for an inspection. They immediately offered to have me leave the car there and DRIVE ME HOME! I just haven’t seen this level of kindness, along with excellent service, in the automotive industry. They made the entire process flawless. Definitely recommend!

While in VA I punctured my tire, they couldn’t repair the tire as they were busy but helped me change to the spare no questions asked and even check the pressure on the other tires they were so helpful and professional

Took a tire in with a stem that needed replacement. They had the tire fixed in about 5, loaded it into the back of my car and sent me on my way. I tried to pay for it and they wouldnt let me. Super friendly. Runs the way a business should, customer friendly and there to help. Great job!

David and Bob fit me in for a complicated issue at the last minute! they were stumped when i pulled up, checked out the car for 3 hours, determined it didn’t need to be fixed and was a silly thing and i walked out with no charges. super thorough shop and the crew is so kind!

I was having a regular maintenance check at Ourisman Toyota where I was given an estimate on a part for my 2008 RAV4 that I thought was not right. I took my vehicle to craftsman’s and asked them to look at my truck and told them what might be wrong. James was so nice and helpful and got an appointment for me same day. After they did the vehicle inspection they did note that my front driver side strut was leaking and took detailed photos and even took the time to show me. They also advised me that the passenger drive side was not bad but it would be good to get repaired with the alignment. Upon further inspection, My transmission fluid was black and needed to be replace and flushed which the dealer didn’t even mention to me on the check they did. James gave an estimate of the repairs and what was most important to get done first which I appreciated, I took my truck in the next day and they gave me a loaner car. My truck was finished in one day. James and the staff at craftsman’s really took care of me and made me feel more informed about the repairs that needed to be done. They took the time to explain everything in detail and I never felt pressured at all. This will be my new go to repair shop for all my maintenance going forward. I appreciated all the information and the customer service was outstanding.

Craftsman Auto Care Fairfax has serviced a couple of my cars since I discovered them in 2020. I continue to be impressed with their professionalism and service. They are one of only a few shops in the area that has a special touchless tire mounting machine that doesn’t scratch the wheel rims. Brandon, Cyrus, and team are great! I highly recommend this shop.

I went in for a safety inspection for one of my vehicles and was blown away at the level of service and information that was provided to me. Everyone was happy to help as soon as I walked in the door. I am used to your standard safety inspection where they give you a pass/fail and send you on your way. Craftsman Auto actually sends you a text message/email with a full length diagnostic of every piece of your vehicle they inspected, with photos included. It shows that they truly care about their customers and their customer’s knowledge of their own vehicles. I wouldn’t have known certain things needed to be addressed on my vehicle had they not given me this breakdown. They even replaced my license plate light bulbs, that would have caused me to fail inspection, for free! I will definitely be going back here again and again, and I would highly recommend their company to anyone in the area!

I worked with Richard the store manager and I have to say this is by far the most thorough car repair Ive ever experienced! The team went far beyond what was asked and noted items that I should start keeping an eye on for possible future repairs. The office as well as the repair bay is clean and neat. I often use this to gauge what type of service I will receive. In a separate earlier visit on Christmas Eve I took my car in just 10 minutes before they closed and Richard helped me put on my spare tire as I had just run over a nail on I66. I noticed the care and attention he took even when replacing the tire. That told me all I needed to know. Craftsman auto care is and will always be the only auto repair facility I will ever trust my car to be worked on. The service managers and technicians never fail to show the utmost sense of professionalism and honestly when working your vehicle. Even with today for instance, when I went in to get my state safety inspection done. The technician checked out my vehicle and informed me that my tag lights were out. The situation was taken care of immediately and my car passed with flying colors after the bulbs were replaced. The entire process was quick and simple. Whether it be a simple repair like mine was or a more in depth job, I will never go to anyone else for my auto repairs.

Many detailed images about my car and they checked the tires REALLY carefully/helped me found a dangerous crack (image uploaded)and provided reasonable prices for NEW TIRES(I compared prices from tirerack and costco, maximum only around $10 difference and Craftsmen can deliver the tires NEXT DAY Morning )they were also really honest about If I buy michelins online NOW personally I get $75 rebate but order through them I will not be able to get the rebateI appreciate their honesty and care, I ordered a whole set of tires from them without hesitation (my old tires discontinued and got uneven wear during last 3 years)I got the lifetime alignment package for my car from firestone, but i will still do my car’s alignment this time (after install the new tires)with craftsman because It is more convenient for me and I like their detailed reports

Contacted Craftsman because my truck was leaking fuel. They conducted a thorough inspection of my vehicle to pinpoint the problem, with Richard communicating with me throughout the entire process. A few hours later and I’m back on the road! Great experience, and I’d be happy to recommend Craftsman to anyone having car trouble.

The best place to get everything done they was really nice really helpful they got me in and out my tire was flat and it was raining they were about to close but the nice gentleman at the front knocked it out for me in 20 min really good people and very helpful i will be back

I found a screw in my tire, brought it here to get looked at, and within minutes of arrival Mason helped me out- he checked the tire pressure, ensured it wasn’t leaking through a liquid test, and he removed the screw at no cost to me whatsoever. Super helpful and professional!

I had an excellent experience with Craftsman in Fairfax who made some significant repairs to my car. They texted me the details, with pictures, of their diagnostic assessment, were very thorough with their recommendations, and made the repairs in a very timely manner. I typically dealer maintain my car, but Ill be returning to Craftsman for future repairs - highly recommended!

Professional and prompt! I like that I was able to schedule an appointment on their site prior to coming in and they had my car ready when they said it would be. They also did an overall check and found a nail in my rear tire that I probably would have found when it was too late.

Excellent customer service. Richard at the front desk as well as their senior mechanic and staff are so courteous, polite and kind and professional. I learned that Valvoline staff I had recently services my car at had really done a number on my headlights! Craftsman Auto staff fixed that mess up for me and didnt even charge me for it. THE ABSOLUTE BEST AUTO SHOP EXPERIENCE! I cannot say enough to express how great the Fairfax Craftsman Auto shop is, but Im going to try. I think it all starts with their incredible customer service. The staff is all very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, and they take the time to really establish a relationship and trust with their clients. Whenever you bring your car in, they first provide a digital inspection report that includes photos of your car, with a color coded status for each piece (red, yellow, green). As someone who doesnt know a whole lot about the inner workings of a car, I really like how this lays out the health of your car in easy to understand terms. Then they follow up with a phone call to explain everything and give you options regarding the next steps. They are very up-front and honest about pricing and never try to push you into paying for something that you dont need. The staff at Fairfax Craftsman is just the best, and I trust them with my car completely. I would HIGHLY recommend taking your vehicle to these guys, you wont be disappointed!

Richard discovered a flaw in my front rotor that was improperly installed by my previous mechanic. He helped diagnose and fix the problem that went undiscovered for a year. Now my ride is noticeable smoother and safer. Their prices are definitely not on the cheaper end but you get what you pay for. These guys were exceptionally professional and patient with me in addition to providing quality service. Doyle and Jeremy are easy to work with as well. Thanks again guys

First of all I would like to thank Jeremy since I came to store he gave me warm welcome، This in itself gives you a good impression of the shop, the staff and the environment. However, I went yesterday to store and I had 3 issues with my car and even though I am speaking English as a second language he was super friendly and I explained enough till I understand 100% and and, also he resolved all my problems without charge me nothing I would sat thank you again Jeremy. Absolutely would be my first guy if I need to get done in my car much respect.

This place is the best! They are so friendly and personable when they greet you. And then they follow up with amazing service. I really appreciate how they tell you the most important and time sensitive things that need fixing right away, and the things that can wait a little while but will need fixing down the line so you know what to expect. I trust them to do a great job at a reasonable price.
