We were lucky enough to connect with Johan from Dulles Kitchen and Bath and we hit the jackpot. Hes the perfect mix of guiding you and respecting your style. He listened to what we wanted and incorporated it into our design. This sounds trivial but his customer service skills are extraordinary. He was responsive, empathetic and a problem solver. He certainly made the process much easier for us and when we hit bumps, he always handled them well. Issues always come up, its how people handle them that really show you who they are. We would highly recommend Johan to everyone and everyone. We also live in a townhouse and he worked with us without a ton of upselling realizing that we love our home but its not our forever home.If youve met someone that says no problem by default but never follows through? This is NOT Johan. If he says no problem it happens.Second part of the review... Jose. I have never in my life met someone with such attention to detail. Jose is clearly super experienced and will also tell you when he doesnt agree with what you are doing, which is a trait I respect. Using no sparingly, means its worth listening when someone says it.Both Johan and Jose handled issues SO well it really was as painless as a remodel can be.

My parents had 2 bathrooms renovated. Cemmy, Matt, and Alfonso+his crew were all professional and easy to work with. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the final product. Reno area was always cleaned up well after each day of work. Any unforeseen issues that arose were promptly taken care of to our satisfaction. The only negative would be that the communication of the crew’s schedule at times could have been a bit more clear, esp as we had our own work schedules to work around the reno. So, would rate it 4.5 rather than a 5.

Working with Dulles Kitchen and Bath for the remodel of my guest bathroom was one of the best remodeling experiences I have ever had. It started with the designer Johan, who listened to my ideas and made suggestions based on his vast experience, and then provided a timely, detailed yet concise proposal. After a few minor clarifications, the contract was signed within a week, and then, amazingly, work began only 3 weeks later.The team assigned was headed by project manager Martese who proved to be reliable, professional and responsive when issues arose that required changes to the original plans (major drain pipes that had to be moved or worked around). But it was the team of two installers, headed by Carlos, who truly made this project go amazingly smoothly.Carlos is a superb professional craftsman, knowledgeable about all aspects of a building project--plumbing, electrical, drywall/painting, and tile setting. He and his brother were attentive to every detail, flexible as needed, and able to problem solve any minor issue that arose. And although this is a minor detail, they kept the work area and adjoining areas so clean with drop cloths, dust covers, etc, that every evening when they left for the day the house never looked like a major renovation was underway. The quality of their workmanship is exceptional.I will be remodeling another bathroom soon and will definitely be going back to DKB. They provide superb quality at a reasonable price and with a level of professional and concern that one rarely sees these days. I will recommend DKB to all of my friends, and appreciate that DKB never asked for a review. This glowing review is spontaneous and well-deserved.

I have minimal negative reviews, except That the crew has to clean up the screws/nails more carefully on deconstruction day. My car had a flat tire and don’t expect a refund but they need to be more mindful of that. Second, I paid a lot for aesthetics of my fireplace but it still feels undone (missing a mantle) I feel like I overpaid for that. I asked for one for the price but was brushed off.

Dulles Kitchen & Bath did an excellent job remodeling both my Master Bathroom and Guest Bathroom. The Master Bath remodel was pretty complicated and included building a fully sealed custom steam shower with a digital control panel. As a first-time homeowner, I was concerned about making the steam shower as water/vapor-proof as possible to prevent mold from growing behind the tile. DK&B went out of their way to add extra vaporpoofing to make me feel confident about the remodel, and didn’t even charge any additional fees!I highly recommend them to anyone in the DMV area looking to remodel their bathroom, and would hire them again in the future.

I don’t recommend this company! They will rip you off. The old kitchen tiles in our house were installed better than the new tiles this company installed. If I have known the makeover will be a disaster I wouldn’t have it replaced. My friend had her kitchen remodeled and invited us over for a cocktail and cheese and we were so impressed with the work the guys made for her. The black and white kitchen looks so tidy and spacious so I said to my husband we should have the kitchen remodeled too. I chose Dulles and went ahead and booked an appointment as they are close to our area. The crew assisted me and the work was fine at the beginning but we’re so bummed to found the floor tiles cracked in just few months. I called them to check it for us but they’ve been ignoring our calls. What a rip off! Very unprofessional.

Great experience all around. From design through product recommendations and final selections. Once work commenced the team assigned was always prompt and courteous.  Any questions asked were always addressed professionally.  Project manager Martese was very responsive and always followed up. Our installer,  Cuzzo, was simply the best. Very thorough and helpful,  an excellent craftsman.Special recognition to  our designer Patrick; he listened to our requirements and delivered. All around a very smooth process. Any challenges encountered were dealt with very quickly.  If you are in the market,  Dulles Kitchen & Bath should be on your short list for consideration.

We hired Dulles Kitchen and Bath to remodel a powder room and the kids bathroom. They were always courteous and respectful of the constraints put on us by our three small kids. They even expedited the floor and toilet installation in the powder room so we could use it while they worked on the full bath. We are very pleased with the results and the kids love their new bathroom.

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY - Johan, the owner, does not care about the actual project and will not come out to see the shoddy work that his team did. Tiles are not even and the people that work for him are sub contractors with little experience. They do not actually have their own crew when they say they do. Please choose any other company.

The team at Dulles Kitchen and Bath was truly amazing. We were looking for someone who would be able to help us from start to finish. It seemed that many of the contractors we found were only experts in one area or another. We moved into our home in December of 2017. The house was built in 1992 and the bathroom was carpeted and the toilet was not framed in. There was also a huge Jacuzzi tub typical of that time.Bob is the design man on the team. We explained our desire to have the toilet framed in, for a two person shower and heated tile floor. Within a week we were meeting Bob at the design center where he showed us the drawings he had come up with. Next, we picked out the tile, cabinets etc. We actually were able to select everything in 1 ½ hours.For the next stage we met with the project manager, Sinan. Sinan was our single point of contact and kept everything moving along smoothly. We started the project in the mid-January and had the project completed by mid-March. I typically like to do my own work, but as the project unfolded I realized that it could take me a year to do the project myself. It required removing the entire bathroom floor, pulling circuits from the basement, a new custom shower floor, and all new plumbing.Nelson and crew were the workers for the project. They too were amazing. Nelson worked with the permit inspectors and made sure everything was done well and to standard. I would definitely use them again. The project stayed very close to on budget with just a few bumps due to some of our changes.If we were to do it over again we would’ve placed the light switch on the inside of the toilet space and we might’ve picked a different tub because the tub we picked based on its size is made of fiberglass and I’d prefer porcelain. The one thing I did do was fill the void in the bottom of the tub with insulation to keep the water warmer longer.Lastly, I was unhappy that our water pressure was terrible on the faucets. I procrastinated for months and finally got the nerve to call. Sinan came out the next day, come to find out the aerator was filled with crud possibly from our water heater. It was a simple fix that I could’ve done myself, yet Sinan didn’t complain. This was the one thing keeping me back from giving them this review.We couldn’t ask for a better team from start to finish. The project moved quickly (less the five days we went without power from a storm) and stayed on track. The budget strayed very little and they were very easy to work with and resolved our concerns and issues quickly. Communication was excellent. I think we picked the best company for the project and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Basically got an entire first floor renovation that included the kitchen, 2 sets of stairs, big window installation, flooring, and lighting. I solicited bids from three contractors. DKB won on price and complete service offering. For instance, their bid did not require us to independently find cabinets or temporarily move large furniture out of the house, unlike the other bids. They did a fabulous job, including with the installation of a large window and a raised bar that we requested be made of burmese-teak wood. Some photos of our kitchen attached. Two final kickers that more than warrant their 5 star review: (1) subtle selections of good taste; (2) action regarding a warranty issue. Regarding (1), I strongly recommend working with Ali. There are 1000 decisions that go into a kitchen or other remodel, and having someone with a good sense of taste is really an essential part of the process that you do not always get with contractors. Ali was terrific for those subtle, recurring decisions that require good taste. Regarding (2), we noticed after a couple of months after we sent them our last payment that they accidentally left some of our outside wall exposed, requiring us to contact them for a warranty claim. They patched the wall quickly, which is appreciated and goes to the integrity of the company generally. They did a great job at a great price, and we love our new kitchen and first floor!One constructive suggestion though, I think that they need a special notes section in their contract. The only communication that will be read by those making the contract and those implementing the contract is the contract. If you have a special ask that does not typically go in the contract (e.g., pullout shelving placed in an atypical array), that idea is unlikely to trickle to the person who actually implements what you were wanting. Any such miscommunication was corrected, but I felt like they were making thing hard on themselves by not having such a section.I would definitely use the company again for other remodeling! Great job, DKB!

We highly recommend Dulles Kitchen and Bath. This was our first kitchen renovation and we couldnt be happier. During this process we evaluated three companies and one of the major reasons we went with Dulles, besides our confidence and comfort level with Ali, was because they do it all. From the hardwood floors, cabinets, countertops, lighting, appliance installation and more. This was very valuable to us because we could have one point of contact for everything. Ali was awesome and patient during the design process which we made several changes. He was extremely quick to respond to emails and questions we had. Ali came to our house and offered suggestions on design and next we went to the showroom to pick our cabinets. He even gave us a cabinet door to drive out to their countertop distributor in Sterling to help us make our final color pick as we placed against full size Quartz slabs. If you are thinking of a renovation look no further. The installation crew led by Firuz was great and respected our home and wishes. They stayed in constant communication, completed the job on time and even handled an unexpected sub floor issue. They handled all permits and appointments with county inspectors and had a detailed installation and renovation schedule. Over two months later and both Firuz and Ali have checked in to see how we are enjoying our kitchen. We cant speak highly enough about them and we love our new kitchen!

We could not be happier with our entire experience with Dulles Kitchen & Bath. We have done a couple of other major projects and several smaller renovations on our house over the years, all of which went well, and our experience with DKB was the best of them all from start to finish.Our house was built in 1972, and our kitchen hadn’t had a significant renovation since it was built. Our vision was to transform our main level, which consisted of a small, congested galley kitchen and separate dining and living rooms, into a seamless modern, open concept floorplan that combined all three rooms. This entailed removing all of the interior walls on that level of the house, relocating a door between the kitchen and the garage, and relocating the sink, stove, and refrigerator.The designer and owner, Johan, was a pleasure to work with. He promptly came to our house for the initial meeting, attentively listened to our concerns with our old kitchen and desires for our new kitchen, and within a week had a preliminary design for us to review. The 3D CAD computer model that he showed us allowed us to walk through his design virtually and really helped us to visualize what the finished product could and would look like. The design he presented us incorporated all of the functional elements we asked for in a very stylish, appealing manner with a keen attention to detail. Johan willingly accommodated a few adjustments we decided to make as we changed our mind on a couple of things to get to the final design. Unlike some of the companies we interviewed, Johan did all of this without any upfront fees.At contract signing, we agreed on a start date, and Johan committed to completing the job in 25 days after starting. About a week prior to the start, Johan came back to our house to introduce the onsite project manager, Sinan, to us and familiarize Sinan with the job. At 8:00 on the start date, Sinan and his crew arrived and worked six days a week until the project was finished. Sinan proactively communicated the plan to us, kept his crew on track throughout the project, and was very helpful and responsive in answering our questions. The crew expertly went about their work and skillfully addressed each of the challenges that came with working on a house that is nearly 50 years old. They were friendly and very considerate of the fact that we were living in the house during the project. They were conscientious about controlling the dust and cleaning up at the end of each day. Because of Sinan’s attention during the project, the punch list at the end was short and consisted only of minor items, and 25 days after starting the project, we moved back into our new kitchen.Throughout the experience, we found ourselves repeatedly thinking, “this is the way all renovation jobs should be handled”. Johan, Sinan, and their crew were knowledgeable, professional, attentive, and personable from beginning to end. Without hesitation, we would hire them again for any future kitchen or bath project.

I have never used a remodeling company before so this was my first experience and I’m glad to say it was a success! I am very pleased with the results of my kitchen and bathroom, which had to be completely gutted. I found they do all types of remodeling and are not limited to kitchens and baths so I will be calling them again for the rest of my condo. I really appreciate that they were able to accommodate my last minute changes and customization requests. I had some reservations at first because the building where I live is an older one but they took their time and were very careful and still finished rather quickly. I can easily say that Dulles Kitchen and Bath has done a professional job from the beginning to the end of my project.Before signing a contract with this company, I received a price from other companies too. The contract amount that this company offered to me was definitely more reasonable than the remodeling companies.Although the drawings of my kitchen project were made, I made some layout changes in the middle of the project. Designer Ali professionally applied the changes to the project perfectly.The crew were nice and clean when the team worked at my house.I would like to thank project manager Sinan who responds to all my phone and e-mails 24/7.If you think about doing business with this company, you can be sure to do business with the right guys.I would like to thank Designer Ali in particular for offering me to have my kitchen cabinets put in a floodlights. Although I dont want to add this extra, I see that Ali has made me a very accurate offer every time I use it.I think Ill hire this company again for my master bathroom project next summer.

Not only did they deliver as promised, they made a custom cabinet and did some rework at no charge because of a change I requested after they installed some cabinets and I came up with a good idea. Sinan has provided excellent service after the fact. I have already recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

DKB renovated our guest bathroom. The workers were considerate and the work was high quality. They listened and provided excellent feedback during the design phase. Most importantly, Johann understood that my wife needed to be part of all stages in the project. We got another quote that was significantly more expensive and the rep just couldnt seem to understand that my wife needed to be treated as a decisionmaker. I cant recommend them enough.

I had my entire kitchen redesigned. The Dulles K&B team did a fabulous job with it. They were very professional and delivered the job on time. Chris Peters was the sales person for the project and he was very helpful in designing the project, including selection of hardware and other materials. Once the contract was signed, Sinan took over the execution of the project. He was constantly in touch during the execution and took care of all the items in a timely and professional manner. Pricing was reasonable and the quality of the work was beyond my expectation. Ali was also supervising the project and made sure that the contractors were delivering the work. The contractors came on time as promised. I certainly recommend them for kitchen remodeling work of any kind.

Not the mentioned, they finished exactly on the date they said they would which normally does not the case with the contractors!

Complete bathroom remodel completed in 4 days! I cannot say enough about this company. The owners provided excellent communication, their workers were professional and the job was done earlier than I expected. We just finished remodeling two bathrooms with Dulles Kitchen and Bath. Converted the Master Bath from tub and separate shower to a huge step in shower and created a linen closet in the old shower space. The bathrooms turned out fabulous.Very attentive and willing to make everything to the clients satisfaction. Be sure to have Johan and/or Ali during the entire project.Would recommend them for future projects.

We reached out to Dulles / Fairfax Kitchen and Bath for a major renovation on our kitchen and we were extremely worried that it would just drag on and on before we go into a vacation season. Every place we called told us that as big remodeling as the one we were about to start would take at least a month, if not more. We had to have it done before July as we had house guests arriving and we were then would leave for a vacation. Only Dulles told us that they could do it in 21 days (including all permits etc) and they delivered. From the designer to the project manager and his installation crew didnt let us down and did whatever they could to complete by the deadline. They did an amazing job and addressed all our concerns.What we love about working with Dulles is not only the quality work they put out but also how respectful they were at our house and how they cleaned up after themselves almost every day. We felt no dust around and they tried to keep their noise down as much as possible.We love everything about our kitchen remodeling -- new, modern-looking, bright, vibrant kitchen cabinets, countertops, the floor, lighting, backsplash -- just everything! They were also very honest and did keep us apprised about every step they were going to take. If something we wanted wouldnt fit the visual consistency of the kitchen, they would say so. If something was overpriced, they warned us and went above and beyond to find something that would cost a lot less. Great experience and great outcome! I had two bathrooms remodeled and updated. and will be using this company for two more bathrooms that need to be updated. This company was perfect for me, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They did good work and responded to any question or issue that I had in a timely and professional manner. I also like the idea that they are not so big that you get lost between big projects.

My wife and I want to personally thank Sinan, Nathan and their entire team at Dulles Kitchen and Bath for their work on our kitchen and master bathroom. They displayed professionalism throughout the job and we really appreciated them constantly keeping in touch with us during the renovation to see if we wanted to switch things (which we did a couple times). I am so impressed with Johan / Dulles Kitchen & Bath! I am a single young professional who just bought a house in Virginia... I love the shell of my home but I really want to modernize it on the inside. The two bathrooms needed to be remodeled first so I thought it would be great to try out Dulles Kitchen & Bath. Im a new homeowner, and this is the first time I’ve ever remodeled anything so I was afraid of the costs and even more concerned that the bathrooms wouldn’t come out the way I envisioned it. I feel like someones home says a lot about them so Ive taken a lot of time learning on my own about different styles materials etc. But I met with Johan and he completely understood my vision... He even sat with me to look through my pintrest board!!! I appreciate working with him so much--- He listens very well and gets It. I would call him or email him a lot and he would address any of my concerns immediately! I couldnt be more satisfied. I cant recommend Dulles Kitchen & Bath highly enough! Johan was fantastic to work with. He was very accommodating, patient, and kind with my wife and I through several changes and many questions. Out of all the bids we received, Johan was the only one who kept his word on timing. He came to our house on a Saturday and told us the design and proposal would be ready the next Saturday at his showroom. We went to the showroom and he had everything ready for us. All other companies took a week or two longer than they promised, and some obviously didn’t remember some of the things we wanted or didn’t want, because their designs were not reflective of what we were looking for. These guys are genuine, they care, and they go out of their way to help and anticipate your needs. Johan was always very responsive via email and phone when we needed him or had some questions. He was never pushy or impatient.The crew that came out to install our kitchen was fantastic! Rothnny and Val were detailed, conscientious, and meticulous in their work. We felt comfortable having them in our home for a month and really appreciated their approachability and openness to discussing project details. They really thought through all the details, which is not always the case with many contractors. Sinan, the project manager, is a good guy. He was always courteous and helpful. I also appreciated that he would go out of the way to ensure we were happy with everything and accommodated some minor changes we had with no issue whatsoever.I highly recommend you call these guys and will do so myself in the future when we remodel our bathrooms.

Dulles Kitchen and Bath EXCEEDED our expectations! Thank you! We dreaded giving up our kitchen for what we thought was going to be several weeks from demolition to completion....HOWEVER... they were 99.9% done in just 8 working days! The crew was knowledgeable and very friendly. Great to work with. We had a minir issue afterwards. One phone call and they were out in no time to resolve. Good service.

In every remodeling project, we are facing with some problems here and there. In our final walk-through, we usually fix them all. This is becoming a nightmare for us. So, if you are asking what you can do please follow back up with us and fix your issues that have become ours please.

We used Dulles Kitchen and Bath to perform a partial renovation of one bathroom (vanity, sink, countertop, faucet, medicine chest, towel bar, and lighting), and to add a decorative tile sink backsplash to a second bathroom. Other bath and kitchen renovators would not even talk to us because we were not doing a total renovation. They told us to go to a big box store, however we wanted to deal with a vendor who would take total responsibility for the job. Dulles treated us as though we were doing a much bigger renovation.Ben Nowlin, our salesperson, was very helpful in selecting the various items we needed, and pricing out various options. The work crew, managed by project manager Firuz Z., completed the work very quickly, and clearly wanted to please us. There were two minor issues which remained to be addressed when the work was completed, and they were resolved the very next day. We were very pleased with the final product.

I cant say enough good things about Dulles Kitchen and Bath. We decided to go with this place because they were reasonably priced and we were very happy with the vast selection of options for the kitchen. Johan came out to give us an estimate and he was there every step of the way after. He came by the house every day to check on the progress and responded to emails with any questions or concerns we had promptly. As for the guys who completed the work, Rothnny and Valentin did the majority of the work and they were amazing! They worked so hard to get things done. They worked late if necessary and always left the house clean. We have a golden retriever and Johan, Rothnny and Valentin were great with him. My husband and I would recommend this company to anyone looking to redo their kitchen! We plan on using them to update several bathrooms in our house as well.

I ran across Dulles Kitchen and Bath when I took a trip to the Home Depot in fairfax circle.I was looking for an immediate solution for my leaking shower problem, which could have ruined my bathroom and other areas if not quickly fixed. The first thing that came to mind was to go to Home Depot. I loathe Home Depot but drove there anyway. I saw the sign for Dulles Kitchen and Bath right across the street, so I decided to walk in, perhaps to delay going to Home Depot, but in hopes that maybe they could help.I walked in the store and saw a lot of nice models for kitchens and bathrooms. I liked looking at the variety of the designs, they had classic and modern styles and various stones. After a couple of minutes looking around the store I met a designer named Ali. I told him about the problem and showed him pictures and explained I didnt really know if they handled these types of issues but that I saw the sign and decided to walk in. He was super nice and approached the problem very delicately- he explained why and how shower pans leak every few years. He said its normal and described how they usually solve this type of leak. He said hed be happy to assess it the next day in person free of charge.To be honest, it was such a relief compared to what I thought I was going to have to deal with. Everything was really simple and relaxed and straightforward. I left happier and less worried.The next day Ali came to my place for the measurements. After the inspection and all the measurements he assured me that they could immediately fix the problem with the shower. He also offered to renovate the whole master bathroom as an option. I told him that Id be open to the idea if I had more details. He didnt pressure me on anything which I liked. I agreed because I was curious to see what they offered.The next day he sent me the proposals for just the leak and the renovation. Weighing the costs and benefits I decided to go with the whole renovation because the price was good and I wanted to update it anyway and I was already going to have to deal with coordinating with workers in my house. I asked him how soon this could happen and he told me his crew could begin the project the next week. So I agreed.The crew showed up the following week as promised. They covered their area and the stairs from the door to the bathroom which was so nice because I didnt have to deal with cleaning the mess of demolition. I work 9am-5pm but when I came home I never felt like my house was under construction during the renovation which took almost 2 weeks. The project manager came many times during the construction time, even when it was after hours for him, to talk to me in person and address any concerns I had. I really appreciated that.I am really pleased with the result. I dont have a leak problem anymore and I have a sleek looking bathroom with new vanity faucets, a mirror and lights. I especially love my frameless glass door, it is very chic and still impressing me! :) Thank you Dulles Kitchen & Bath, you guys saved me a lot of headache and have gone above and beyond my expectations. This turned from an annoying problem to a total upgrade. Thank you again!

My wife and I were almost ready to sign on with another contractor for our kitchen remodel, but decided to check out Dulles Kitchen and Bath just for completeness sake. Were glad we did! Their designer came up with the best design wed seen yet from the several suggested by the various contractors wed interviewed. They werent the cheapest bid, but they were far from the most expensive as well.Throughout the process, DKBs management and employees were unfailingly polite and attentive to our questions and requests. There were some minor communication issues, but they were quickly resolved, and the one time there was a communication issue which caused a small amount of work to be redone a different way, DKB redid it graciously and without any attempt to pass the cost onto us. That incident exemplified our experience with them -- they were clearly focused on providing a great customer experience.The work was not 100% perfect, and I took away 1 star to reflect that fact. We had to call them back a couple of times to correct some issues; that said, they came out quickly and addressed them without complaint. We also fixed a few issues ourselves, but Im confident that if we had brought them up, DKB would have handled them as well. And even if the work wasnt perfect, it was quite good, and for such a large job (involving tearing down a load-bearing wall and rerouting gas and plumbing, among many other things) expecting perfection would be unrealistic.We are very happy with our new kitchen and are grateful to DKB for being so easy to work with and attending so carefully to our needs.
