There were probably too many people in the waiting area, considering all visits are supposed to be by appointment only. But despite this, the staff was very helpful and doing a great job of keeping everyone in process. Also, Dr. Gedamu provides a very comprehensive exam and clearly explains any issues. I have been to this office many times and will continue to schedule my eye exams at this location.

Clean environment, personable staff, and very thorough exam. All equipment was sanitized in my view before I sat at them. The exam was thorough and the doctor discussed my x-rays with me; pinpointing things along the way. Highly recommend!

Wonderful and quick exam. He was obviously knowledgeable. Gave a wonderful handout and reviewed my results with detail.When going to the eye optical/glasses side to choose frames - there were too many people and they were unable to safely distance from each other. Allowing people to browse the frames is not advisable in a pandemic....

I always look forward to seeing Dr. Chan. Ive had a long relationship with her in this office. So why only four stars, her hours are limited and there was an equipment issue in the diagnostic section. I go yearly to get a diabetic eye exam and truly enjoy having Dr. Chans manor and efficiency.

I spent no more than 5 minutes in the exam room. Previous tests I have completed at other optometrists took much longer and took time to test different vision options. It felt like I was being given the diagnosis I was given to get me out to bring in the next person.

Ive had eye exams elsewhere,(recommendations of primary care Dr.s), but the best ones where from Lenscrafters, especially Dr. Gedamu. Very efficient and correct.

Ive been getting my eye exams at Dr. Gedamus office for years, from Dr. Gedamu himself or from his associate Dr. Fei Chan. They and their staff have always been professional, friendly and meticulously concerned for patient health. On my last visit, they photographed my right eye three times, repeating until the picture was to their satisfaction.

The staff was courteous, professional, competent and efficient. The office is clean and they maintained all safety protocols. Dr. Tewodros is wonderful. Very thorough, no rush and offers sound advice on eye glasses and eye care. Completely satisfied with our visit.

Even with COVID going on right now I felt extremely taken care of. They cleaned all the machines in front of me, which gave me a better piece of mind.Also when I was with the doctor he explained everything in the scan/picture so I could understand it. I also liked how it was in a different area then lenscrafters, I didnt feel pressured to buy glasses then and there.I will 100% be coming back (when needed) and tell my family and friends to go here!

The doctor the Asian lady not Dr.Gudumi, kept arguing with me about my RX!All I told her the glasses that I got from them the week before is too strong and makes me dizzy!But she kept saying it is not the prescription it’s your eyes because you’re pregnant!Horrible service and they’re in professional from a doctor standpoint!Otherwise staffs staffs are very friendly after Gudmi was very professional!Just the Asian doctor which I don’t know her name because she never introduced herself I had to say hi to her she needs to be a little bit more personal level and she needs to listen to her patients

Friendly staff, good covid protocol. Exams, tests, check in, check out were efficient. Would be 5 stars, but they were down a staff person and that caused some extra waiting time.

I sometimes wonder if we as patients are honest and straightforward enough to tell the care providers (Doctors, Nurses and assistants) that we are either happy or not so happy about the service we have received when we received it. After my visit, I came online to say my heart felt thank You; to these professionals (actually for the first time) and saw a nastygram. Having been a patient for over a decade, and having my own eye challenges, I am just dismayed to have read such a comment as what I have been experiencing for all these years is nothing but excellence!I have been going to this facility for many years now and am not only very happy and satisfied with their service but also am very thankful for them for going out of their way to treat us (Myself and My boys) very well. Thank You! to all Including the front desk folk, who always greet us and treat us with respect and professionalism. Thank You again ! to all the doctors for your treatment, help and advice all these years.

It was so easy to schedule the appointment online, I received couple of reminders days before my appointment. The office is very easy to find.( First floor underneath cheese-factory) The staff is very friendly and helpful. I struggled to insert my contacts( I haven’t use contacts for couple of years) the nurse was very helpful and patience with me until I got them in. The doctor was kind and Friendly. I felt very comfortable with the eye exam. Overall the best eye appointment I had.

The staff and doctor were great! Well organized, pleasant and professional.

I wanted to like my first visit here but sadly, it wasn’t good. Especially because I went with my young children for whom I hoped the process would be nice. Myself and my kids visited as a family, and during our time at this office I felt so uncomfortable. The staff were fine at first, greeted us as we came in, started our tests on time, etc. But then, what completely put me off this place was their interaction with my child who has Autism. He has severe expressive and receptive language challenges and therefore found the test process tricky. (Something I wrote and explained in our online intake forms). He got funny looks and reactions when he wasn’t able to express clearly the images he saw during His initial test prior to seeing the Dr. We even became a source of amusement for the 3 women sitting up front of the office as we walked up to them ready to check out. I was baffled by the fact that this treatment we were getting was coming from people who are supposedly in one of the most companionate professions (health care). A little advice, if you must to have a little laugh at the expense of your clients, please have the decency to wait until thy leave your office.

Everything went smooth. I was in and out in no time.

My family has been going to Dr Gedamu for over ten years. He is extremely attentive and thorough with the exams.I also felt that his office is taking all of the necessary precautions during COVID-19, including physical distancing, wearing masks, and disinfecting all of the equipment between patients.

I just have a question: why you never have dilatate the pupils if this is the way to see if something is wrong inside the eyes; I have seen other people in another practices that this exam is included in the routine annual exam

Upon entering I was greeted with the biggest smile and warmest welcome from the receptionist, I did not ask her name but she had glasses and colored hair. She was very sweet and extremely knowledgable. I had a few questions and they were answered promptly and she really knew what she was talking about! Although another middle aged woman just sat around and watched and did not help, I will be coming back just for the one receptionist!

The Doctor and the staff were courteous and got me started in the exam process on time. The exam was thorough and optional parts, ie, additional tests at additional costs, were well explained and the pricing was transparent. Doctor Gedamu reviewed the results and discussed several options for me as well as letting me know the pros and cons of the options. Ill be returning as a customer to the Dr.

I felt very comfortable with everything in regards to the exam and going back to wearing contacts. The dr discussed the options for my type of prescription. When the first contact lens I tried were not quite strong enough, he bumped up the prescription until I had crisp clear vision. Once I had the final pair of lens in, he had me read different sized letters at far, close, and mid range. Even though the lens felt good and I could see well, he still wanted me to follow-up in a week to be sure that no other adjustments were needed. I am completely fine with the request as I had not worn contacts in 3 years and I needed multifocal lens, which are a bit different than the basic single vision. Everyone that I encountered on the staff was very nice and helpful. The office was busy, but the staff had everything running smoothly.

Very unprofessional! From the staff to the drs! I have eye problems and staff made me feel so uncomfortable just because they couldn’t get my auto-refraction! If they try a few time and they can’t get a reading they make you feel so uncomfortable like Something is wrong with you or like you are out of this world! I don’t know who the heck trained them but not all patients are the same! And it is okay if you can’t get some readings because patients with certain eye conditions cannot control their eye movements (like myopic patients) so making us feel like it’s our problem is not professional! The doctor would not even try hard enough to get a right prescription! It’s like 5 mins exam absolutely not thorough. Very unprofessional! And OH MY GOD! Dare to tell them a prescription did not work for you they make you feel so awkward about getting a recheck like it’s your fault they do such a crapppy job! Such people should not allowed to be doctors! I only found out his prescription mistakes this year because i went to a better doctor. He kept telling me my right eye is BLIND! Only because he did not want to spend 5 more minutes in the examRoom working sth out for me! Now i can see with my new prescription from somewhere else! TOTAL BS! HEALTHCARE SHOULD NOT BE LIKE THAT! If you dont want to help People see then dont be a freaking Doctor!

Utilize a body temperature check device that checks one’s temperature via their elbow. I do not agree with or like the pointing of a body temperature check device that resembles a hand gun to any human being’s head.

With or without an appointment, Ive always waited 40 to 90 minutes. Today I called for an appointment but they said the had no more appointments available but will see anyone who arrives before 2:45. My wife made a special trip home to pick up my daughters and dropped them off at 2:40. At 2:55 I received a call from my daughters telling me they wont see any more people. I called and was told the doctors leave at 3:30 and they cant see anymore patients. Then they said it was because the needed a parent or guardian present but it was too late.This office is never on time and this was the worst excuse for customer service Ive received from any doctors office. Will not give them my patronage unless I have no other reasonable choice.

Avoid this facility if you are Walk-In, Today this facility made me wait from 2:40 pm to 4:15 pm and finally said since I am a walkin that is how I get treated.The staff is very young and is Irresponsible. They are afraid to talk to the Doctor and mention that a patient is waiting for 2+ hours and should be considered.The Doctor does not Care who is in or not because he will continue to Ignore you as if you are a PEST.Disgusting people, I am sure quality is not built in. Please avoid this facility at any cost.

Wow - I have been wearing the same kind of contacts for over a decade but suddenly they are *premium* and I have to pay an additional $80 to get them fit. What a scam - avoid this place at all costs. Wish I had read the reviews before trekking out here
