Went to Fairfield Subaru to purchase our son his first car. Ended up leaving at the end of the day having purchased two vehicles! That should tell u how great this dealership is. Very friendly staff from the salesperson all the way to finance. I can honestly say that I did not experience any pressure or hassle during the whole car buying process. The person that gets all the credit though was our sales rep, Larry. He was super friendly, answered all our questions, and was very knowledgeable about the vehicles we were looking at. Larry worked with us to get us close to the price point we were looking for, which is pretty unheard of in today’s car mark ups due to the car supply issues going on. I can’t say enough about the guy. He was trustworthy and treated us like family. If you’re in the market for a Subaru, go to Fairfield Subaru and ask for Larry. We had an amazing experience! Our first contact was with Jeff Perkins who was so helpful. During these challenging times the recent car market is very difficult to navigate but Jeff explained the new challenges of purchasing with such low inventory and took the time to find out what our options would be. He found us the car we wanted and although it was 3+ weeks out of delivery the dealership allowed us to secure it with a deposit. Jeff also introduced us to Tony Richardson as another contact in case he wasn’t available. Jeff kept me updated along the way and when the day came to finally come get the car, there was Jeff & Tony, car full of gas, polished and ready for a test drive. They were a great team, Jeff said hello but had to help another client that was at the dealership but Tony stepped right in, got us set up and away we went on our test drive.Overall we loved the car, it was our daughters first new car and Jeff & Tony made it a simple and stress free process and the entire Subaru Fairfield team just took amazing care of us every step of the way.Thanks to Jeff & Tony, I have a new outlook on buying a car, it’s never been this easy when I bought from a different dealership so now I know what dealing with true pros really feels like! This place is good ONLY if you want a new car, I purchased a used 2009 Subaru Outback, and was assured that it was in good working order with the only issue being a ticking noise from the A/C compressor. In reality there was a crack in the engine block that was causing the sound and had been in an accident previously that had bent the front axle. If you get a used car here you need to have an outside mechanic they will lie to you about the condition of the car.
Tony Richardson was great to work with. I had been exchanging emails with him for a while on a Forester, but I couldn’t wait until the 2022 models were available. I found an Outback in the lot and and he showed me everything it has to offer, which was way more than I imagined. I drove away with a new Subaru and I am really happy that Tony helped me make the better choice for me. Thank you very much! Highly recommend going to him for your Subaru needs.
I went in to the dealership with a few cars in mind to look at. I had a great experience with sales associate Tony Richardson, he was helpful and patient! He was very knowledgeable about the Crosstrek that I purchased and went over all the features of the vehicle with me and did what he could to get me a car within my budget! My only issue with the dealership is they don’t allow test drives of certain models of car. Otherwise an amazing experience and I would suggest it to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

Been looking to buy a new car to replace my Toyota Corolla when I finally decided on a Forester. Though they didnt have my Crimson Red Pearl Forester with the blind spot detection package in their inventory when I was first inquiring, Tony the sales person was able to get it delivered to the lot in time for my birthday. Feels like the epitome of a shady dealership, especially for military and veterans, wasn’t always that way. Bought my Subaru here four years ago but the last time I went for an oil change, they did a bad job in that they had the nerve to try pressuring me into buying services I didn’t need, which I declined and they had taken parts off of my car that weren’t necessary to take off to do an oil change, and then consequently fell off because they didn’t put all the pins back on. The part above the right-side front wheel-well got pulled out on a sharp maneuver while parallel parking by making contact with the moving tire. This part was attached to the plastic part (name I don’t know which they took off to try selling me on $800 service to inspect a small oil leak that’s not even hitting the ground) that’s attached to the frame to protect dirt and road debris from flying up into the vulnerable parts of the car and engine. I’ll be screwed in the winter when there’s salt on the roads ruining the metal. I was wearing my Marine Corps hat and the service manager was asking about my retirement before my car went in to service for the oil change. Subaru Customer Service says since Fairfield is the one that caused the damages I have to take it back to Fairfield but it just doesn’t seem right. Not veteran friendly or military friendly anymore.
Excellent service! I from start to finish, my experience purchasing my 2021 Outback was seamless. I was able to do 90% of the process online, which made my time in the dealership short and sweet! They were able to price match a vehicle I had found at another dealership, and were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Fairfield Subaru!

We recently bought a 2021 Subaru Forester from Fairfield Subaru. We had a great experience from the first call to Tony Richardson up to the signing of loan documents with the Finance Manager. Tony made sure the SUV is clean and ready before we left the dealership. Tony also explained all the features of the SUV and he also made a courtesy call few days after our purchase. Their Subaru Love Encore Specialist also contacted us to schedule a meeting to discuss any questions about the car. Overall, the customer service is excellent and we are hoping we will also receive an excellent customer service with their service department.
We purchased our first Subaru (2021 Ascent) from Fairfield Subaru on Sunday. It was an overall fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this dealership. My wife and I had our two kids in tow (a 3-year-old and 4-month-old) so, needless to say, we wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and accommodating and, yes, they got us out in record time! Our salesperson, Jeff, was wonderful from beginning to end and, most importantly, we never felt anyone being pushy, sleezy car salesman tactics, awkward and uncomfortable haggling, etc. All around, great place, great people, and we are very happy with the car!

We had a frustrating experience at this Subaru dealership. I had set an appointment to test drive a used Outback. The price seemed right and the service over the phone was great. However, when we arrived the outback had a large dent and chunk missing that was not disclosed. The tires were near bald, and the inside was filthy. My biggest problem with all of this was that our salesman, Tony, was absent for the whole appointment. I asked to see several other similar cars and he unlocked them and left. I am very disappointed with the service. I am accustomed to the salesman being present and answering questions on the vehicles. I understand it is different times with Covid, but we were outdoors, in masks, with more than enough space to stay apart. I feel like I would have driven away with one of those cars today but I felt uncomfortable with the lack of service.
