Floor Expo had the best selection and showroom of the various flooring places we had visited. Oscar was extremely knowledgeable about all of the products and patient with us as we made our decision. Prices were very competitive and quality of materials were top notch. The owner, Eric, came out himself to do the estimate and provided helpful suggestions based on his expertise. Balthazar and his team did a beautiful job with install. They were very efficient, cleaned up throughly after the work was completed, and were very professional and polite. We purchased our flooring from Floor Expo. This was in May of 2021, when the supply was very low (and i was indecisive). We love the floors we got, but more importantly, the service that we received from Oscar was exceptional. I went to multiple stores and dealt with a lot of sales folks, but no one went above and beyond to make sure that i had what i needed, chased down availability and worked so hard to make sure the deadlines were met. Oscar went above and beyond and I would recommend this store to anyone who needs quality flooring, and wants to work with professional who want to do right by their clients.

I really did not even want to give ANY stars for this company. Our experience with Floor Expo started off OK. They had a hard time maintaining their phone calls and were not prompt in returning phone calls. Communication with them was a nuisance for the most part, but once we were able to get in contact, we proceeded. We purchased flooring for our new open concept kitchen/living area. Let me start by saying the floors were EXTREMELY expensive and we expected proper installation. We have radiant heating in our floor so the company suggested we just glue, not staple to avoid any conflict with our radiant heat pipes. Being the customer (assuming the company and installation crew knew best), we agreed and allowed them to proceed. I had specifically asked the manager, Oscar, how long the flooring needed to adapt to the room temperature and he replied by telling me it only needed a couple days (as it was around (late December) winter time when they installed). The flooring was installed two days later after its arrival. Mind you, we had our heat running for a while before the flooring even arrived. While they were prompt to come and install right away (as we had been waiting a long time to hear back from them in the first place), they did NOT install our floors properly. We have SO MANY gaps where you can see the floor boards underneath. There are also spots where the floor actually MOVES and BOUNCES up and down. It is horrendous for the amount of money we spent on this flooring. We read the policy and it said they would REFUND FOR THE MATERIAL PURCHASED (WHICH WAS THE BULK OF THE PRICE) if there were any issues. They did not comply. They wanted to fight us from the start. THEY DID NOT WANT TO HELP US AT ALL. DID NOT WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT FOR US AT ALL. First we needed the manufacture to test the product, which it came back that there was NOTHING wrong with it. THEN, We had to have an inspector from a THIRD party come out and examine the flooring. The results came back that the humidity in the home was not at the proper level at the time the flooring was installed. WHERE WAS OSCAR THE MANAGER WITH THIS INFORMATION PRIOR TO INSTALLATION??? NO WHERE. NOT HELPFUL ONE BIT - THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR US. It is a bunch of bologna. It is absolutely wrong that they are blaming US for this issue, when we were not given any kind of information as to what the Humidity level should be. They completely misguided us. What happened to the customer is always right? Especially when they are truthfully RIGHT! They screwed us with this flooring and wont even give us any kind of reimbursement. It is expressly agreed that Floor Expo Inc.’s liability regarding defective installation is limited to and customer’s sole and exclusive remedy is limited to repair or replacement through Floor Expo Inc. of merchandise and its installation by Floor Expo Inc., if determined by the independent inspector to be materially defective. Replacement shall be with the same or equivalent merchandise. In lieu of repair or replacement, Floor Expo Inc. may also agree at its sole discretion to pay customer and customer shall accept as its sole remedy, if selected by Floor Expo Inc., a sum equal to the sum paid by customer for the subject material and installation as appears on this invoice. We should be receiving our money back for this flooring when the material had NOTHING WRONG WITH IT - IT WAS THE INSTALLATION AND THEY DO NOT WANT TO OWN UP TO THEIR MISTAKE. It is an outrage and completely wrong. We will NOT be using this company ever again, and would NOT recommend them to ANYONE.

To be perfectly honest, I wasnt expecting to make a purchase at Floor Expo the first time I visited the store. Initially, I visited the store simply to SEE the flooring I was considering. But Oscar, the store owner, was so nice and helpful, I couldnt help but return. It made perfect sense for me to give Floor Expo my business. Floor Expo has such a vast selection, it is easy to get lost in all the variety. I asked for help . . . and Oscar personally assisted me, directing me to the wood flooring I was looking for. Carpeting was much more difficult because I didnt have a manufacturer; I could only describe it. However, he was so knowledgeable that he was able to help me find the EXACT carpeting I described. Throughout the entire interaction, there wasnt a disappointing moment in my experience with Oscar and the Floor Expo team. My first experience was with the man who measured my spaces. He went above and beyond, arriving early and waiting until the appointed time. (I live in a new development so finding our address isnt always easy but Oscars people were resourceful and didnt let the newness of the development dissuade them from arriving on time.) The installers -- I had two sets; one for wood flooring and another for carpeting -- were quick, quiet, and professional. They also went above and beyond. Their work was exceptional! All the flooring looks so good. And they vacuumed before they left my home, leaving it in the same condition they found it. I couldnt have been happier with how my flooring turned out. Pricing was good, too. If there were a rating system with 10 stars, I would have to give them 11. I just I wish I had more floors for them to do. I would strongly encourage shopping at Floor Expo. Ask for Oscar. You will absolutely not be disappointed.

Everything was first-rate. From service to selection and installation of my Mohawk Solid Tech Flooring. Floor Expo was able to provide me with design options, and a very good price. The installers were friendly and came on time and completed the install in a timely manner. I highly recommend Floor Expo!

UPDATE: Business owner made this right and went above and beyond with customer service to make this issue right.We spoke with Oscar in-person at the store on11/27/2020 and discussed getting a cleaning kit. He told us that the store does not stock floor cleaning items, and offered to order us one at no charge.I followed up and he told me that he would check to see if the cleaning kit was mailed to a different location.Then, I received a call from Oscar the last week in December and he told me the cleaning kit would cost $50.Our issue is that Oscar never told us that the cleaning kit would cost $50Bad customer service and deceptive business practices!

I selected Floor Expo because my brother had used them a few months back and he was very happy. I did solicit other estimates in the process and decided on Floor Expo because of Steve the salesperson in the showroom was very helpful with us in going back and forth with different samples. In addition the showroom was very extensive in the number of samples which was a big help. As for the installation our selected wood had to be ordered and made so there was a 6 to 8 week waiting period and Steve kept in contact. Steve also set us up with their 12 month 0% financing program which was approved in 10 minutes. When we selected a date for wood delivery the driver showed up on time about 10 days before the installation date. On the day of the installation the Baldsar the installer was on time, very friendly, and explained the process of the installation. They even stayed and worked until 8:30 PM to get the entire job in 1-day as promised. The final installed floor was perfect and the guys did a great job with the cleanup which was one of main concerns besides the finished job. In the future we plan on doing the bedrooms upstairs and possible a new stair runner so I will be contacting Steve at Floor Expo to do these jobs without even thinking about getting another estimate from anywhere else.

My husband and I were delighted with the help and efficient service we received from Steven at Floor Expo! He greeted us in a friendly manner and asked us what we were looking for. He then asked a series of questions demonstrating a genuine interest in our needs and our style, giving us several options. He helped us to limit our choices to help us make a decision. Steven seems to have a gift of knowing what questions to ask and analyzing our answers to assist our decision-making. He is knowledgeable about his carpets and seemed very attuned to matching the appropriate carpet to our personal needs. He was honest and fair regarding pricing and efficient with scheduling installation. Steven communicated the day our carpet was installed to make sure we knew precisely when the men would arrive. The two men who installed our carpet were courteous and focused. They took extra steps to prepare the floor properly before they started to install the padding. They worked quickly and neatly, cleaning up thoroughly before they left. We were amazed at the quality of service and the personal attention we received! We felt a sense of importance as a customer - an unusual and refreshing feeling!!!

Poor customer service. Once we signed a contract and put down a deposit the sales rep ghosted us. Ended up canceling order and used a different carpet company.

Had our wood floors refinished/stained/oil coated. Priced competitively and the team (led by Balthazar) did a wonderful job! Weve done our floors a number of times and this is by far the best experience weve had. Clean, neat, attention to detail, and considerate of us. We are extremely pleased with the results!

We ordered carpet for our family room and a bedroom. Steve was a tremendous help. He even helped me save extra money on the order by doing 2 rooms with the same carpet. I really appreciated that. He was very good about making certain to understand exactly what we were looking for, and then showing us different options to meet our needs. We were further pleased by Jimmy, who installed the carpet for us. He is a very meticulous worker, and his knowledge of how to install a carpet is second to none. It was our first time sanding flooring, but the result is way beyond our expectations. Eric is very nice, responsible, and professional. He was always there during the project and answered every questions I asked no matter how late it was. His team was so efficient that they could finish the entire work in just one day. Most of imperfections were removed, so our sanded flooring looks like new and amazing. Im very happy to recommend Floor Expo and will definitely use them again in the future.

Went to several stores and chose Floor Expo because Oscar seemed to be the most knowledgeable. He explained the different options and even though it was a small job he treated it like a large job. The installer Balthazar did a great job putting a new floor in an old house. He was able to customize a few little spots you find in a 90year old house. Would highly reccomend.

I live in Jersey City, and recently bought a condo. My wife and I wanted to replace the carpet (in both bedrooms) and the previous hardwood in the living room and kitchen. We shopped around before settling on Floor Expo; basically, the choice came down to the quality of hardwood that a place sold. Floor Expo carried many great brands that we both loved. Oscar was our salesman, and he was very helpful. When we made our floor decision, Oscar was professional and courteous. He arranged a date for his contractor to measure our condo, and was quick to respond back to me. We scheduled a date for installing the wood, and everything and everyone involved were extremely reliable. Balthazar installed our hardwood floors, and I cant give enough good compliments about him. It took him 1 day to rip up the old flooring and carpet, and 2 subsequent days for complete installation. Overall, I was very impressed with Floor Expo; from start to finish, it took us about 3 weeks to decide, have the shipment arrive and get all the work done.

I found Floor Expo by accident when driving back from Lumber Liquidators last year to pick up hardwood samples. From the start I knew I would use Floor Expo when I was ready to install my hardwood floors. Stephanie was kind and patient as I took my time to select my floor. Tony came to measure and answered any questions about the project. There were a few areas of unevenness in my subfloor and loft balcony that concerned me. In the end I selected solid natural hickory with lots of variation from Mohawk. Balthazar installed 440 square feet in two days and the results were fantastic! I can be somewhat fastidious, but I tried my best to leave him alone to install the floor (hes an in-house contractor and has lots of experience) and in the end I was very pleased. He handled some tricky areas very well and patiently answered any questions I had. From selecting my hardwood to the installation and competitive price, Floor Expo was amazing.Update: I loved my floors installed in June, 2014 so much that I had my stairs and bedroom done just 6 weeks later (August, 2014.) Another great job! I look forward to having my living room and dining room done in the future.

Was so impressed by Steve and the showroom, I contracted to have three rooms done, two with tiles and one carpet. Two rooms were done today, third will be scheduled soon. I do not believe in super heroes, that is until today. I can not thank Steve enough. We must have changed our installation date at least 10 times due to a renovation that has taken on a life of its own. I was shopping for carpet and Ive been to HomeDepot, Lowes and I had a shop at home guy come to my house. It was really stressful. These stores confused me more than they helped!! My daughter told me to go to Floor Expo on rt46. I went there and found an amazing selection of carpet!! The store is huge and has everything related to flooring. The staff is awesome! It was fast and easy. The installation was great. I would definitely recommend Floor Expo. Im going back there for wood flooring in the spring.

Best customer service Ive received from any company in a long time. The first time I visited the store, I stopped in after work without my husband. I wanted to get an idea of what options I had and was very honest that I was just browsing/wouldnt be making an immediate purchase. Eric walked me around and spent a good deal of time explaining everything even though he knew I wasnt going to purchase that day. He didnt talk to me differently because I was female or obviously clueless about flooring but instead took the extra time to explain everything in a very professional and courteous manner. A few months later, we were finally ready to pick out floors for our basement renovation. My husband insisted we stop at a large chain nearby but the customer service was absolutely terrible. I insisted we stop by Floor Expo because of the great experience I had previously. Oscar spent a ton of time with us explaining all the options - from the most expensive to the least. He really knows his stuff! He wasnt pushy... Just very informative and friendly. We scheduled an appointment for measurements and Eric stopped by our home. Once again, the service we received was professional and knowledgeable. After our appointment, we returned to the store to pick the exact colors and style we wanted and Oscar once again spent a great deal of time with us, showing us even more options that would work for our project (I can tend to be indecisive). He never once made me feel rushed or like he was inconvenienced even though Im positive I was a pretty annoying customer. We finally placed the order and Oscar gave us a very fair price. He kept us updated as we waited for our floors to arrive. Jimmy was our installer and my husband couldnt say enough nice things about him. By the quality of his work, you can tell he takes pride in what he does and has been doing this for quite a while. I absolutely LOVE my new floors and couldnt have been happier with the service I received from start to finish. Its rare to find companies that make the extra effort but this place definitely prides itself on both the quality of work and customer care. Floor Expo in Fairfield has a nice large showroom with a lot to choose from including a large selection of sale items.We worked with Steven and he was terrific! It was our first experience buying flooring and he helped us simplify the process and narrow our choices. We are renovating an entire apartment in the Upper West Side. We were very pleased with the service, product, and overall pricing at Floor Expo. We were fortunate enough to have Steven Lazaridis as our salesperson. He gave us individual attention and spent more time than most would to ensure our happiness in the product. Floor Expo is great! Bought carpet for my family room and vinyl wood plank flooring for my mudroom. What a great experience from beginning to end. The staff couldnt be nicer or more helpful, especially Oscar and Sabina. We needed everything installed quicky due to a move, and the whole process from choosing what we needed, to complete installation took only 4 days! Everyone worked so quickly to be sure everything was installed before the move. You will never get that personal service anywhere else! The installers came right on time and were truly professional. I couldnt be happier and will definitely use them again for future purchases and will recommend them to family and friends.

My experience today the 20th April 2017 at 4.30 was the worst I ever had at any store. That time store had no customers. The older lady at the reception was busy talking to friend or family. She saw me come into the store stand in the front of her but ignored me and continued on phone. After 10 minutes I felt insulted and asked her if anyone to help me. She did not reply and continued talking on the phone, got up to peep in the warehouse, then returned to her desk. All this time not saying a single word to me. At this time Got low on patience so I asked if there is no help i will leave. Still on phone she asked in a loud and harsh voice what do I need. It so was so insulting. I walked out and will never go to this store again. I wanted wood floor for first floor of our house.

We just moved to Livingston last month and had a very tight window in which to SAND then Stain our wood floors, and to install carpeting in the kids rooms, all while doing a careful balance with our painters. (Since painters could not walk on newly stained floors) Floor Expo and our main contact - STEVE- who is the best... were extremely patient and helpful in coordinating all of the moving parts and got the job done beautifully, and ON TIME to the timeline they gave us! Their guy that did the wood floors (Balthazar sp?), couldnt have been more courteous and accommodating We are now going back to them to help us re-do our entire basement. Looking forward to another positive experience!

The store is mind-blowing; theyve got it all. The staff is low-pressure and customer satisfaction is their goal. The two gentlemen who installed my carpet were punctual, pleasant and skilled. They went out of their way to surprise me by surging a excess piece of carpet leaving me with a gorgeous floor mat. Overall, Floor Expo is THE place to shop for all of ones flooring dreams. I will be returning for more! 😉

Before going to Floor Expo,we had looked around the Home Depot and Lowes but nothing could compare to the service we received at Floor Expo. Eric & Sabina were very helpful and extremely patient. They did a wonderful job helping pick out the right floor for our home and family. The flooring arrived before my scheduled time slot which was great and Andrew was very helpful when bringing the flooring in to the house and answered all my questions. Ive already recommended them to my family and friends and I will be back to the Floor Expo for our next project. The service they provide is excellent and I highly recommend them.

Nothing but positive things to say about Floor Expo. What sets them apart is their genuine concern for customer satisfaction. From Day 1, they made sure I was well informed about all the hardwood flooring options, so that when the time came, I made the correct choice. Plus, they were always willing to answer all my little questions, at anytime. That is customer service at its best. In the end, I settled for the exotic Brazilian Tigerwood, and couldnt be happier. It was delivered on time as promised. You guys were definitely worth the one hour drive!

I was looking for a particular wood flooring but found that it was discontinued. Steven in sales was able to find another model that was very similar and I was very pleased with the color matching. The store has many items to select from and make comparisons regarding pricing. If you need wood flooring or carpet go to Floor Expo.... You will not be disappointed.

I had hardwood floors installed last weekend. I was very much impressed with the quality of the workmanship. Baltazar was very professional, & did an outstanding job. He was on time, he cleaned up after the floors were installed. I cant say enough of how happy I am with the work that was done. The floors are of excellent quality. I would highly recommend getting floors at Floor Expo & having Baltazar install them. He is very qualified with installing floors. I also had rugs installed on my steps & I am very happy with the quality of the workmanship & the quality of the rugs. They are very friendly & there was no rushing to get the jobs done. After an unforeseen event that required new flooring in our apt, my boyfriend & I went on a quest for the perfect fit for our home theme. We visited 6 different places and found that floor shopping isnt quite so simple. Thankfully, Steven at Floor Expo was knowledgeable and informed us on different types, quality, solid vs engineering and pricing. He worked with us and was very patient. He wasnt pushy about anything and kept it very profesional. He had great communication time response and tried to ease our situation during moments of frustration. All in all, extremely satisfied with the service and we cant wait to see our beautiful Brazilian Oak floors installed!

Stephanie at Floor Expo is a true gem. She was incredibly patient, had wonderful suggestions, and went above and beyond to help me pick and decide which flooring would work best in our new home. I love my new floors! The wood luxury vinyl in my family rooms adds warmth and coziness. The luxury vinyl, grouted tiles in my kitchen and dining room look like a real stone floor, but without the hard coldness of stone.And I dont have enough complimentary words about Baltazar! His installation work in phenomenal. The lines are all straight with tiles starting at the center of the room and working out. He cuts the tile to exactly fit the area with no gaps at the edges. He had to move a couple BIG pieces of furniture, as well as, the stove and fridge and I never heard one piece of furniture or appliance move, which means he is not dragging the pieces. He totally cleans up the work area of saw dust, boxes and equipment. Plus, Baltazar is a genuinely nice guy. I would definitely recommend and use Floor Expo again. Quality products and service!!

I have to say that Floor Expo was amazing! From the moment we entered the store, we knew we were in the right place. They have so many choices and Steve patiently showed us around until we finally settled on a gorgeous Karndean lvp. The excellent experience didnt end with the sale, however, as they installed it perfectly, taking their time to make sure it was right. Throughout it all, Steve followed up with phone calls to make sure we were satisfied. We have had so many compliments on it ~ most people cant believe its not hardwood. I would highly recommend Floor Expo to anyone looking to make a flooring change!!

Floor Expo did a tremendous job with the floors in our retail space. The building is over 100 years old and presented many challenges with old layers of flooring and construction. Eric came out to the space, assessed the needs and actually talked us out of doing more work than we thought was needed. He assured us that his crew would take care of making the problems all right and we would love the results.He was so right. Baltazar came in and prepped the floors for installation in a single day and then returned to install the laminate flooring in another single day. Its gorgeous!! Crew was timely, courteous and respectful of the property.We could not have asked for a better experience.

The sales man said the carpet we bought is a very good one and with the deal we got he will not accept return witch is wired and unheard. If you are very confident that the carpet you sold us is a good one as you said why you won’t accpet return.When we got home the carpet is collecting dust and get dirty very quick. We selected FloorExpo (444 US Hwy 46E, Fairfield, NJ) to install hardwood floors on the living room, dining room, and 2nd floor hall. Oscar Shaikh provided us with a fair estimate. After the official measurements took place, the actual price was lower (I over-estimated the initial measurements). The process took a little over a month, 4 weeks waiting for the floorboards to arrive from the factory (we picked floorboards that were not in stock), and 1 day to install. Balthasar and his assistant did a phenomenal job with the installation. They were professional, accommodating, skilled, and super quick. My wife and I were very pleased with the whole experience.

We bought the Preverco flooring in Walnut. Our salesperson Steven was a straightshooter and gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision, and also gave us a good price. The installed floor is breathtaking!! Never saw anything so beautiful. Were extremely happy with everything Floor Expo has done for us and we would recommend them highly to everyone.P.S. Dont expect to buy junk there at junk prices. Go to Home Depot for that.

I must say, was really a pleasure doing business with them. I worked with one of their Reps, Steve. He made things very simple, quick, and easy. I didnt have to play the negotiation game, price was more than fair and quality is excellent. I visited their NJ Fairfield location 3 times and customer service was top notch. When I called the manufacturer the had me call Floor Expo since they ere the area distributor.With my first phone call, I has spoken to a gentleman by the name of Steve, and from that moment on Steve has become my go to guy for all of my flooring and carpeting needs. Steve has been extremely helpful in offering product options, getting me product in timely manner, getting me their quality installation team to my house a the date and time needed. They can work around your schedule.The store offers a huge variety of product choices and they take their time in showing you various options and price ranges to fit within your budget. I have been dealing with Steve and Floor Expo now for 3+ years and will continue to do so.They remember your name and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and satisfied with your purchase. I bought a new condo and I needed new carpet for the bedrooms and hardwood flooring for the living room, dining room and family room. I went to Home Depot and then Worldwide. The service was horrible. They really didnt know what they were talking about and the selection was limited. Then a friend of mine told me about Floor Expo. I went into Floor Expo, what a beautiful showroom! HUGE selection of flooring. The staff at Floor Expo is amazing! They have designers on staff at no charge to the customer! You just bring in all your samples of paint, fabric, countertop, cabinet, etc...they help you pick out all the flooring! The whole entire process was so simple. I picked out what I wanted, 1 week later, my project was done. Thank you Floor Expo and I would highly recommend Floor Expo to anyone looking for flooring!

My wife wanted to get rid of the carpet in our Master bedroom and we met with Debbie Segreto one of the sales representative. Debbie knew all her products and helped us decide what would be best for our needs. We decided to go with a wood Laminate floor, Debbie went above and beyond and is a true professional in flooring. The price and quality products met all our expectations. Besides the sales and purchase, We have to give a A+ rating to the installer Baltazar a master at what he does and a true professional. I had to install hardwood floor to my newly purchased home before we move in. There is only 10 days left before moving in. I visited three other stores before I visited Floor Expo. All other stores could not meet this short deadline due to their schedule and less caring by sales employees. Floor Expo salesman named Oscar greeted us and showed the samples. After he heard our tight schedule for installation, he made a few phone calls and explained our situation to the staff members. They found a way to install within 5 day window. Measurement, wood delivery, and installation were accomplished in 5 days. It was possible because1. We chose the flooring material from the stock they have in the showroom already2. Salesman Oscar collaborated with their staff to bend over backward to meet our dead lines.3. Measurement person came in and measure 2 days later4. Wood was delivered in 4 days later by an installer named Belthazar without anyones help on that particular day5. Belthazar came the next day to remove the carpet and prep the floor all by himself.6. On the following morning, Belthazar and other staff came and install in 7 hours.Belthazar is an amazing person whose professionalism and caring mind, also he is extremely responsible for what he promised. whatever he says he would do, he did it. No exception.This young man has a great future whatever he pursues.It was an amazing cooperation among their staff to meet my tight deadline. Thanks to them, my wife moved in with a healthy beautiful hard wood floor because she had an asthma attack with the previous owners carpet upstairs. Floor Expo saved this house and our health. No other store could have done this amazing act of goodness to their customer. Thank you, Oscar, Belthazar, and Jeffry who measured.
