Well, maybe it was the time of day or stars aligned for me, or whatever but Today, a Saturday, at around 5pm all items were fully stocked, I got what I came for, and then some... You know we never leave this place with only that thing that I needed! No lines, lots of parking, great items.... I dont know but this was my best 99 cent store experience thus far.... Off day anomaly, their usual... I dont know, you find out for yourself. BTW I dont live in Fairfield so this was a rare find for me as I have been to these stores in the east bay and my experience there is not as glowing 😁

At one time I gave this place a good rating. 4 years ago. This is a place I goto about everyday. After today I will not go back. Let me explain. Today they had 9 tvs for raffle. The ticket times where from 8:30 am til 9:30 am. The manager gave out tickets up til the drawing at 10am. When asked why she was still giving out tickets after the 9:30am cut off she said to have more tickets in the box. 99 percent of the people who won where givin tickets after 9:30am. One of the people that won was the last person to receive it at 10am. So the people that was there like myself at open got the short end of the stick. If the manager can treat people like this and not fallow the rules on the paper that I still have that states 9:30am is the cut off time to hand tickets out. Id rather go to places that dont cheat customers that stood there for 2 hours to legitimate raffle. They dont care about us.

99 cent PLUS you mean. Dont let the name fool you. There ARE items that cost more than 99 cents . Although they are still reasonably priced.Horrible smell greets you when you walk in the door!!!!! WOW. Didnt use to be like that!!!! smells of rotten fermented fruit and????One young gentleman cashier was exceptionally nice kudos on customer service.

Great produce prices if you can find them in good condition. The usual Dollar Tree/99 cent fare otherwise. It seems they restock produce on Fridays for the weekend.

Just fabulous yall!Produce is crisp and fresh. Theres numerous items that are money savers.Check out is always pleasant. I like to take my time to explore and find goodies.

Cant use the bathroom not too many vegetables dont look fresh ...not a good place to shop

Cashier was really rude and we had a lot of stuff and she was rushing us. We were not aware of the rule that 2 year old children had to wear mask and she was like next time she needs to wear one in an unprofessional manner. She did not seem to enjoy her job which is not our fault. You need to teach your cashiers to be more polite and not rush people who are spending quite a bit of money. The cashier name was cherline.

One of the employees, maybe a manager, I think, that was at entrance when I first walked in w/o a mask on, (I had one, just forgot to put it on) she was very tactful, while also being compassionate about the situation and didnt make me feel uncomfortable about it .Later I needed a cart, there were none in store, so she walked with me out to parking lot to get a cart for me. She was so helpful. The store had so much x.as wrapping, bags, boxes, ribbons and bows, which is what I was looking for, so that was a plus. The downside of it was, I was very uncomfortable.because of the men that were loitering in front of the store, and in middle.of parking lot.

Staff was nice enough. There was a crazy guy yelling into the store all manner of obscenities. Management sent him on his way.

Worst store ever. Im standing in line with 10 people behind me. There is only 2 lines open and each has at least 12 people and when asked to open another line, an announcement was made for another checker to come to the front and no one came. STAY AWAY IF POSSIBLE!!!!

Always a good stop to find small useful things. Would give it a 5 star if they had restrooms for their patrons. Businesses should always provide such services for their paying customers.

I have been to this location three times. I was very impressed tonight when I walked in and found that they carried Virtual Reality specs for less than $8. While this location is in the ghetto, frankly not really, given that I have seen streets of LA, Houston, etc. I like the fact that I still felt safe shopping with my children.I think that the 99 cents only store upped their game, and is offering many items for not just 99 cent ONLY (*I realize it may disgruntle those given that there are items that are more than that), still the pricing is quite fair, very reasonable.I was able to purchase a Sunbeam HANDHELD sewing machine for $4.99 during one of my visits.Tonight was exceptionally awesome, as I ran into Mr. Dennis, who years ago was the famous SIGN SPINNER for businesses on Highway 12. I recognized him right away..he was extremely flattering to my two girls, and I gave him much respect, as his talent was super unforgettable!Thanks 99 Cents Only for making life affordable for families, individuals and the community.

Parking lot always has trash everywhere. Homeless people are always asking for money. Store is very trashed, always merchandise on the floor. Associates are never available. Always only one cashier at the register. Had to wait in line 20 minutes to buy 3 things. I will think about it very hard before going again.

Great deals on popular $$$ brands for a fraction of the cost. Store was recently changed to lower the top shelves. This makes it safer and easier for customers to reach items. The store looks larger and more tidy under this new manager.Cashiers are very helpful and service oriented. The product turnover is very rapid, so buy it when you see it as it may not be available the following week.

Lots of good finds & a huge inventory makes this a great place to find a good deal on stuff you usually pay too much for. This particular store isnt exceptionally clean but it is more clean than other 99 cent stores Ive been to. The staff are usually very friendly here.

The items and store in general have changed in a big way since the last few time I have been. (Its been quite a long time.) Everything is in smaller packages with smaller amounts, items have disappeared, and many items I have no clue what they cost any longer. I left paying $76+ and had 3 bags. I know one item was close to $8 but no way did I buy 60 other items!Anyway, I will be checking my purchases and questioning if I return. Part of the problem (#2) was I felt rushed and not able to question. There were so many people that even though they opened up 2 more lines it was CRAZY!Lastly, when taking my items out to the car there were many unsavory characters all pan handling and others lurking about that made me feel very much on high alert. I did not feel it was a safe environment. I would NEVER want to be there at dark! Daytime is bad enough.The employees were friendly enough and the store itself was clean. I had no issues with that nor the items I did purchase.If management reads this: consider a security guard....at least from 5 until your last employee is safely out of the parking lot.

Pleasant visit. Store was tidy. It was busy but the lines were not very long ... But I remember when the 99cent Store ment everything in it was 99cents or less.... not any more!!! There gimmick is up I guess ...

Great place for whole family to have fun and burn lots of energy. My only issue was that there are lockers, but there were no lockers available. We had to secure belongings in our car.

Cashier was very sweet considering she had customer line 5 miles long. I didnt appreciate manager being disrespectful to cashier ..manager complaining why wasnt it reported a customer knocked over some boxes . ( it just happened! )Getting after her like a child & not in a manager professional way. It was ugly & unprofessional . Take care of your employees.. they work so hard!

I have been shopping here for over 10 years, great bargains prices, etc. recently, i was cheated out of a 50 dollar bill, which was resolved almost immediately, due to customers standing beside me. as usual, i was over charged for items (bananas) .25cents for old ones, charged 59 cents, for newer ones. I am getting very angry with the Managers practice of not having any concern of customer satisfaction . The manager should be dismissed immediately. I will continue to patronize the store, But have no respect for the staff .

I’m so sad! This store has gone down the drain in the last 3/4 months. The shelves are bare, carts are very hard to find unless you go in the store and find them filled with old food or things to be reshelved. Boxes all over, dirty inside and very dirty outside with garbage everywhere. I don’t know what’s going on but it really Needs to be taken care of. Never seems to be enough people working the front!! Sorry for the bad review but all is true!!

Great selection & veriety of items! There stock is always changing almost daily definitely weekly!! They have the brands I like and good produce. You have to frequent fo catch unbelievable surprises so watch there freezers and refrigerators. I like the cereal and snack aisle, almost always an item or two thats has me getting.more then what I came in for. like the Chips Ahoy family size packs....... I bought ten, Oscar Myers 1lb carving board Turkey & Honey Ham.... Stack up on those & both were only 99 cents per pack... The store is organized and clean & the employees are cool and helpful. They dont take the American Express card for some reason and have a 9 day exchange only policy and some items are more then 99 cents but they do at checkout try to let you know about it if it is more then 99 cents so u can decide what will stay and what will go. They do try to keep the lines moving but sometimes there will be a ridiculously long line and two cashiers and more then a few employees about the store doing everything but trying to get you on your way but all and all......hell yeah!!

Great store, nice deals. They could work on their customer service. Most of the people who work there are great. However, Ive run into a few problems with Janelle. If shes so rude to her customers and so slow at work, why is she still there?!

Typical Budget friendly store, this was my first time at a 99c store, it had a broad selection of items,. i will visit again if looking for certain non perishables.Check out lines wernt too long, which I figured is typical, staff was friendly that I communicated with.There was some disorganization but then again thats expected.

Their Selection is Good on items 4 Cheap prices but their Customers Service is HORRIBLE... & DONT Ever Try calling them u Will get some that KEEPS pickin up then Hanging up, not Even kidding, or says Hold on & then hangs up.. is Extremely Ruse & Has NO manners at all!!! Products are Great but they NEED to Hiread New people.. the Customer Service sucks!! As MANY times as Ive frequented this place they have like 2 people that are Actually Polite & Helpful..

Hot humid stuffy...the air conditioning was broken. It was awful. The made the clerks buy their own fans they wouldnt even provide them free of charge. Terrible working conditions

I have tried to give this store a chance - but I have been here about 6-7 times and all different times of day and the place is awful. It’s always hot and stuffy - always really creepy people hanging out front. My grandchildren and I went on Tuesday and there was a homeless man creeping following us in the store eating a bag of something he grabbed off the shelf. There was a woman with a little 1 year old he was eyeing as well. When we all gave him a dirty look he ran off down one of the aisles. The lines are always huge, but the one thing that I really like is all the employees seem really nice and friendly. Wish corporate would let them have some air and a security guard!!! 5 stars for the employees. We went to the Vacaville store yesterday and it was so much nicer.

Your basic 99c only store, nothing particularly good or bad about it. Fairly small selection of dog items, which was disappointing. Other stores seem to do better there

The. 99 cent Plus store in Fairfield Ca is very long lines and only 2 or 3 open lanes. On more than two or three occassions I have put my items back and left.

Honestly, they have improved SIGNIFICANTLY over the past few months... we used to hate going there because of all the panhandlers. I dont mind helping out people in need, dont get me wrong, but two or three at a time would hawk the door and harass customers.Now, they have security guard, the store is clean, and has PLENTY of quality merch. I bought Propel water there!! Lovin this place now :D

Pro: The parking was easy to get in out from, and not everything is expired. At least not till a week from then. If you like off brand food, this is totally your place. Also, they got spices for a dollar, which isnt bad considering a small pepper shaker costs $3.Con: Basically everything else. The food there is sometimes expired, or will expire within a week or two, the lines take forever (its a Walmart thing where theres 10 registers and only 2 are in use, and theres 10 people per line with like a massive basket filled with food) and theres so many sketchy people; I get that it is all only 99 cents with the cheapest things you can buy, but damn, Im scared to pull my wallet out.True story: once I was there and I found a rat eating out a bag of open Cheeto puffs in the back. (erm sorry, Mucho Cheese) I told one of the workers at the register there about it, and they said that shed do something about it, but she said it in such a ugh, IDC way, and as I left she went on with helping people in the line.
