Very nice Safeway. I stop by here every time I go from Sacramento to my home in SF Bay Area. I like that people working here are very nice. Its always clean in order. Very very nice flower department. Everything is nice here. I wanted to recommend this one. Thank you for doing a great job!

Place is clean, cool (during the heat), and everyone I encounter who worked at the store were all very nice and courteous. A delight for once. I only came in for a few items $200 later I left. Whoops spent more than I expected.

Safeway in Green Valley is great. I love their 5 dollar Friday sales. Customer service is great. Everyone always goes out of their way to help and I swear they make this best Birthday cakes. I like that they sale slices so you dont have too buy a whole cake when you get a sweet tooth.

Their prices are so outrageous. Only rich, rich rich people can afford to shop there. Its no wonder all the old timers have moved away. I get sick to my stomach if I have to go there for anything.

I just wanted to take some time out so show appreciation to Joey in the floral department. I came in and was greeted with positivity and kindness. I then proceeded to choose the flowers I wanted, and asked Joey to arrange them for me. They turned out lovely and my grandparents loved them for their 37th wedding anniversary. Thank you Joey !

Prices could be more competitive and for the love of God broaden your isles and open more registers! The Checkers are aces though. Sweet people.

I love the produce here. I do wish there were more cashiers here but I still support this store. Im a born and raised Vallejoan and I remember my dad taking my brother and I to shop here. Plus the gas rewards are cool.

Wish i could give it negative stars. I went shopping here ans spent almost $100 cash snd they had the nerve to follow me out and sit at the door yaking pictures of me amd my vehicle like i had done something wrong

Wanda at the cashier register always makes a trip to this Safeway nice. Pleasant and always smiling. They usually have what we need but sometimes they dont have plastic bags for produce. Always clean and the deli apartment is always helpful.

Never had a bad experience. The food use to be a lot better before safeway was bought out. Not the employees fault though.

Though just another carbon copy of every other safeway, i liked that it was almost completely void of customers, allowing for a much more comfortable and relaxing shopping experience, and also making it easier to find things. I noticed They did have a bit more of a selection than some of the other Safeway locations in other cities, and the produce was fresh. The reason for not gifting that 5th star is the obvious and widespread issue of the overall prices that safeway offers. Usually about 75 cents to 3+ dollars more than other shopping locations. Which is a bummer because Safeway is so convenient and has some high quality items that are exclusive to Safeway, but most of their items of all quality variants arent so unique that you couldnt find the same items for cheaper at either grocery outlet, walmart or dollar general.

Usually stop in before work to pick up refreshments for birthdays, etc. I have emailed to their corporate site as their flower selection is always dreadful..I usually end up with the best of the worst.

As a disabled person it is difficult enough being run into by customers, but to have to move for employees? THERE IS NO RESPECT FOR DISABLED PEOPLE HERE. Overall there is a lack of professionalism and training.

Seemed to be very understaffed. The clercks were nice, but not very knowledgeable. Also one person in the bakery whom was obviously under trained but a very nice.

Great place to get food easily

One of the better Safeways (Cordelia).I literally live 2 minutes away from the Waterman Safeway. The Waterman Safeway Deli staff just seems unmotivated to help customers. I went there to order a Turkey Holiday Dinner and was told they are sold out.The Cordelia Safeway not only had them, but the staff took care of the ridiculous paperwork order form. I was in and out in a matter of minutes.

Nice grocery store in stable area of Natomas. Parking lot had ample amount of space and people were all friendly! Great stores in the surrounding shopping centers too.

This is one of my favorite locations.This Safeway is well kept, clean, and the staff is polite and helpful.When the buying frenzy happened, shelves were empty no more than two weeks. They have bounced back and continue to meet all of my needs.They also follow current distancing guidelines.I have been going here for the past two years and I have yet to have an unpleasant experience.

Over priced on a lot of items and items often expired. Check stands are not being spaced out. Instead of opening every other, theyll open three right next to each other. So social distance isnt happening if Im bumping into the checker behind me.

Its a grocery store, they have some of what you need. They need to carry more ethnic spices, not just Asian spices.

I usually avoid this store because of the lack of hygiene and disrespect to covid protocols. And when I have to use this store, I use the self check out. But when I have an item that requires an id, I get stuck for over 10-15 minutes in line because the cashier wants to open a never ending conversation with the customer ahead. Please respect our time.

Safeway and Vons are owned by the same firm. The Safeway in GV- Cordelia is a joke, the deli section is good. The check out is another story.

First off I don’t want to tell you how disgusting the fresh cut fruit is that’s for starters I wouldn’t eat it if you paid me. the second thing the line is sneaking around to the back of the store and this is like this at all Safeway markets F - for this place. If you Think this store is clean looks can be very deceiving you’ve obviously never been in the fresh cut fruit room!

Sean or Shawn not sure his name. I think he is a manager there. Big guy probably around 40 years old. sometimes has a goatee......anyways He is a really friendly person who makes you feel like you are talking to an old friend whenever you shop.. When I and my wife were in college and using WIC to buy food for our baby he was always really patient and helpful to us. Great guy

Best Safeway in the area. Always clean fully stocked . Staff is friendly and helpful. Only disappointment was the meat department wasnt open (about 9:40)

This is my local market, lately they have less cashiers and implemented the autocheck cashiers. I dont think is fair, this is asking us to the work of a cashier without payment. I dont think is a fair practice with their employees. Its OK if you are in a hurry, but they should have more cashiers to check out, the place is packed in the afternoons and seems like they dont have anough employees.

Lines were really short for a Saturday evening and it was clean and well stocked

Since when does a checkout supervisor become a social distance cop. The store can also recommend your wear a mask while shopping but cannot insist that you do.

My first visit since March due to covid19.. overall went well ...employees following safety guidelines....its a few of the customers that dont follow arrows on aisles that made me unhappy....I can only be responsible for myself..but it good to get out!

The worst Safeway Ive ever visited. Items in seasonal aisle are never in their correct spot. I bought a $3 chocolate bunny that ended up being $9.99. Then they would not even accept a return. Customer service cashier had taken over 10 minutes to arrive. Then I found out the store manager was actually only 3 feet away at self check out watching as I waited. Very disappointing.

This Safeway is kinda dirty

The place is clean with lots of choices. A small section dedicated for selecting your own nuts, grains and such. However there are only 2 varieties of loose teas available. There is also choices for the health conscience shopper.

No large watermelons, only small ones and no Tajín. Simple stuff like that wasnt there.

The people that work there are very helpful, only one thing is the security officer was to busy on his phone instead of paying attention to what was going on around him (thats all Im saying)
