My car was weatherized and engine heater block was placed perfectly. Outstanding staff: their service was prompt, extremely accommodating and professional( courteous).They do great work. They are genuine ( honest) as well as very qualified staff who explained every aspect in terms of work that was required on the vehicle. Im very pleased with this business and I feel that I generally have a good sense, perception, of people who are honest. I will return to them in the future

I couldnt ask for a better automotive repair shop and my experience was absolutely wonderful. Right away, they were more than willing to let me drop my vehicle off early and even started diagnosing problems before my scheduled appointment. When the causes were determined, they provided explanation and photos to review and explained all the details over the phone. In the end the vehicle needed more repairs than what it was worth, and they were more than willing to give me time to decide what I wanted to do next and even suggested all my options as I had no idea what to do with a car that needs to be salvaged. I guarantee that I will go to Matts for future service. I also want to highlight Charlie who was always updating me on the status of my vehicle and willing to answer any questions. I couldnt be more thankful for his kindness and amazing customer service. I love bringing my car to Matt’s. The staff knows me by my name and keeps me fully in the loop with whatever they are working on with my car. I appreciate that they send their suggested items to do on the car in a list I can review on my own and accept or decline—much less stressful than having to decide in the moment. I am from out of state and used a Land Rover mechanic finder, I found Matts Automotive & Collision Center in Fargo ND. I was not sure, but needed my 2009 Range Rover checked out. I arrived and found the shop staff to be very friendly and professional, I explained my issue and they have a RR guy on staff!! I felt better, I would definitely recommend this shop to fellow RR owners!! My RR is running great and will definitelycome back when I return to COLD ND!!!

I dont know why you would bring your vehicle anywhere else. The friendliness and professionalism is something I would expect at a 5 star resort, not an automotive repair shop. Have used Matt’s off of 52nd Ave 3 different times and will definitely use them again in the future for any type of auto services offered when needed. Justin has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They are fair and I feel I can trust their opinion and the quotes they have given me. (Unlike a lot of auto body shops they will rip you off in a second and rob you blind if you let them). My husband and I were referred to Matts when our car was backed into and needed to get repaired. They did a wonderful job of getting the quote for us, connecting with the insurance company, and then getting it all fixed back up in a very timely manner. Their customer service was very helpful, as this situation was new to us and we werent exactly sure what to expect. They helped us through the whole process and when we got our car back, it looked even better than it did when we brought it in, as they had vacuumed and dusted the inside of the vehicle and washed the outside and all the windows (all of which hadnt been done for a while 😬). Was not expecting that, but it was a nice surprise! We were very pleased with our service with them and will definitely be looking for more ways to do business with them in the future.

As a former mechanic, I have high standards for auto repair. Matts always impresses me with their knowledge and quality of service. I recently made the mistake of taking my vehicle elsewhere because matts couldnt get me in on short notice before a trip, and it almost cost me and my family our lives. Took it straight to matts and they fixed it right, the first time. Like they have every time before.

SO BOMB. I’m really wary of anything car related because I’m not well versed in cars myself. Justin at Matt’s did an amazing job of explaining which parts were needed and why. Nothing less, nothing more. They even had a courtesy rental vehicle while my car was in the shop. Highly recommended!

I commute to Fargo every week for work and was having some tire issues - messaged Justin and he got me a quote promptly and got my vehicle in and taken care of quickly. Also noticed an oil leak and Justin and his staff made sure to address my concerns.

I only needed a small service from Matts, but they delivered in a big way. They communicated well and did a thorough and complete job, but didnt stop there. They really went above and beyond. I didnt realize until several days after picking my vehicle up that they had placed a new Matts automotive plush toy in the child carrier in the back seat for my child to play with. What an unexpected and pleasant surprise! Little details like that really clue you in that this place is a cut above the rest and that they enjoy what they do.

I had some minor work done and two new tires placed, thought the place was fair initially. 3 months after having the tires placed I got a nail in it. I went back to see if they could repair it. I got told it would be like putting a bandage on a knuckle, we can not fix it, to much liability. they tried very hard to sell me another new tire. I new this could not be right the nail was in the treads not the side wall. I went to a tire repair place off University called Dokota tire and they patched in 20 mins for about 25$. They said it was no problem to repair, the other place just wanted to sell another tire and laughed at the liability lie. I would NOT go back to Matts auto, if they are going to lie to my face over a tire repair who knows what else they would lie about. Obviously this places lies over honest and quality service. Do not give any service!

Customers service is good and Justin is very friendly. As for the service of my problem i am not happy at all. If i can give them a negative review i will. My car had an power steering hose leak and took it in to replace the hose and there was no other problems. When I went to get my car a week later as soon as I got in the vehicle the steering made a whining noise, I got Justin and he said that it is a Ford problem after the hose replacement. He offered to bleed the system and see if that is the issue. I got a call from Justin and apparently the steering rack is leaking and is causing the whining noise. The car didnt make any noise when the hose was leaking, funny how it started after they fixed the hose. There prices on their service is very very expensive!!!!!!!! Do your homework before!!!! The hose replacement was $700+ and now they want $ 1800 for the rack replacement. I called the Ford dealership and they just gave me a written quote for the rack replacement of $1100. Wow that is quite a bit less, and that is the dealership!!!! I can go on and on about the huge price difference between parts and labor after I started to do some homework. I guess they took me for a ride, my mistake for now doing my homework before hand.

My CR-V needed some large repairs and due to COVID-19, shipping parts took a little longer than anticipated. Matt’s let me keep their loaner car for an entire week so would be able to get to work. That was a huge stress relief! Justin was always available to answer any question I had. I’m happy I made the switch to Matt’s over a year ago.

$1,590.03 just fix the in cabin heater knob on my 03 Buick Rendezvous. Then I was quoted $775.00 for the repair of my tie rod ends and stabilizer bar. Found out those parts cost around 40 a piece. The rest must be labor....I found someplace else that will do it for $200.00. Do your research and look around before bringing your car here for repairs......Never again.....

Exactly what I want in a mechanic. They didnt try to sell me on a bunch of things my car didnt need and tried to make me feel in charge, despite feeling fairly helpless when it comes to vehicle repairs. Very friendly staff and great advice for getting to repairs in a timely manner. The checks they run will help keep your car running well and are well within reason for mechanic costs. I will be finishing my car work through them due to the excellent customer service they provide.

These guys are fantastic. They gave me an estimate over the phone, and after the work was done, thats what I was charged. They also gave me a list of things that I should consider repairing, a detailed explanation why, and the prices for those services. If things stay the way they are, theyll have a lifelong customer.

I have a Silver 2015 Chrysler 300 that got T-Boned while in Minneapolis for a concert. The vehicle was drivable yet the damage really messed up how the car rode, not to mention how visually unappealing it was. Justin at the Collision center showed a great deal of hospitality and helped me understand how extensive the damage was and what it would take to get it fixed. And Due to how bad it was it took about 2 months to get fixed. Throughout those two months Justin consistently called to update me let me know it’s going smoothly. I just got the car back today and I couldn’t help but smile when I saw it after it was done. I really appreciate how professionally they handled the situation and how well done the sheet metal and paint was brought back to its original state.Thank y’all so much for all the hard work you guys put in!

Had gone to a few other mechanic shops in Fargo, which they did not impress me. After getting into an accident, I did some research, found Matts, and was impressed by the reviews. From the moment we walked in Travis, the employee at the desk, welcomed us and was super friendly with us. He was honest with us, informed us with every step of the process. Since that experience, we have brought in all of our vehicle work there. Our vehicle was in the shop when the Moorhead shop collapsed Matt, the owner, called us personally to let us know where our vehicle was at in the repair process. If you are looking for a great mechanic place look no further then Matts auotmotive. I personally take our vehicles to 53rd Ave S (collision center) site because of Travis and how he treated us everytime we have had car issues.
