Great service! Helped when I was in trouble. Staff was awesome! A wee bit expensive but as far as I am concerned totally worth it! Shhhh dont tell my husband that, I apparently spent too much but I needed everything they said I did!

I would not recommend this place.. my husband took my car for them to check it the first time they charged us $80 could not find what was wrong then they told us they will check it again the next day but we would not get charged... same thing next day said they were short staffed they will try again.... then called my husband said they will charge us almost $300 estimate and that it was ABS and should be about 1000 to fix... first of all BE HONEST!!!!! we took it to another car repair and it only costed us $219 and it was not even what they said it was... NEVER AGAIN!!!! like I said BE HONEST!!!

5 stars for friendly employees and relative speed of work done, but 0 stars for the quality of welding.I had two magnaflow mufflers with identical down pipes on my silverado and one rusted through and needed to be replaced. I did not have access to a welder myself so I gave Midas a shot.They replaced both mufflers with Thrush mufflers and the turn downs didnt match like they did when I brought it in. There were burrs where they cut the turn downs, and they werent equal length. Easier said than done, but I could have welded blindfolded better than the work that I received.Sure its under the truck and no one looks at it, but some attention to detail and pride in your work would go along way.For ~$150, I got what I paid for, which was not good. I would have gladly paid $400+ for quality work.I did not contact them to try to remedy the situation, so that is my fault; Im sure they would have tried to make it right.They may be good for brakes, oil, etc., but be wary and inspect any welding or exhaust work that is performed by this shop.All that being said, friendly staff and quick work. Got me back on the road anyway.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this shop. I brought my car in for an oil change and to have some tires I bought put on. I knew I had bad brakes and was planning on having a family member replace them for me because I was quoted over $800 at other shops for just brake replacement. Mike called me and stressed how bad my brakes and rotors were. Not only did he walk me through everything that needed to be replaced, he quoted me almost $300 less for everything, INCLUDING labor. When I arrived to pick up my car, Mike took me into the shop to show me how bad my rotors were and what a “normal” rotor should look like. He answered all my questions and explained what they fixed, when to bring it in again, everything. He was extremely helpful, but beyond that, he never once made me feel like my questions were dumb, and answered everything so nicely. I am so thankful for Mike and Midas. My car feels and drives like it’s brand new! I am a Midas customer for life after my experience today!

The salesman charged me more than he should have. Fargos Midas online site listed 133 for the tire I wanted (GENERAL ALTIMAX RT43) and he charged me 143. As well as the site says 32 for Mount & Balance and they charged me 50. As well they estimated me at 322 before the service then the total came out to 376 without adding anything from the estimation. Overall Im never going here again and Im calling corporate and having a talk with them about this location. I told him about how he was charging me wrong and gave me a excuse-like answer that they charge the rates in Minneapolis(looking online they dont even have this tire at the Minneapolis location). I would not recommend you go here!!!

Never go there. They will try to hold your car hostage telling you that it is unsafe to drive and they can not release it until you pay them to fix it.

Took my Acura here to get my alternator replaced a couple months back. Ever since then I’ve been having so much trouble with my battery. I’ve had to change my battery 4 times since then. Good thing I have a warranty on my battery. And then the owner told me that my brakes were REALLY bad and told me that I really needed to change it. The cheapest they had was around $500-600. Little did they know that my husband is knowledgeable with cars. We even took it to another shop to get a second look and even they said that our brakes were fine. We only took our car here because they were the only shop available at that time. Now we know why. Don’t go here! Go with a reputable shop. These people are sketchy.

This shop is run right. Whoever the manager is does a great job keeping things honest and transparent. Pricing is fair. For me, it’s always been a little less than the estimate and works done fast. No bull.

I went here to get an oil change and felt extremely talked down to. I know the issues my car has and that they are not as serious as the mechanics made them out to be. The words, I need you to understand something were used in regard to a topic that I very well understood. As a woman it is difficult to find a mechanic that I can trust. I work for an international power electronics company as a mechanical engineer so I have a pretty good background when it comes to large machines and electronics. I am very capable of understanding mechanical issues with my car and going about fixing them. That being said, I would appreciate not being spoken to as though I am naive in the subject.

First tried to say he could only use expensive synthetic, then argued the website isnt where you request which services you need, although thats the point of website, said no its just to tell him to call, which he never did. Rude and argumentative.

I wish I couldve came to this place way sooner than I did. Ive gotten three things replaced here, and all under $650! Where as most places were qouting me way more than that or wouldnt even look at it! I have a big fix that Ill be fixing nexf week that other shops were saying itd be over two grand to fix it and midas qouted me WAYYYYY less than that! The staff was very kind and got my vehicle in and out no problem! I can gladly say this is my shop to go to for any future problems or maintenance! Thanks Midas!

After spending months back and forth with 2 different mechanic shops, I chose to try another business. I walked in, Mike was super nice, thorough, explained everything! We made like a business plan with the work on my vehicle. I am amazed by the difference in shops. I am not just a customer or money to them. The guys are genuine, sincere and caring. The job was completed in a timely fashion and they catered to my need of having a vehicle for a long trip asap. The mechanic was very nice and polite and well mannered. They now have another customer for as long as I live in Fargo!!

Went here to have an alignment done on my truck I told him that put new parts on he said if he had to do two alignments that I have to be charged twice never heard that if Im paying for an alignment of paying for an alignment he came back out and told me that it was fine I was just a little off so I went in there to talk to mechanic he was beep and ask my question truck is done talk to the manager he informed me that I am being charged twice because he had to touch it twice I told him if Im paying for an alignment Im paying for it he said that I was so out of whack that I have to be charged twice for wasting their time. Then I asked is there one year 12000 mile warranty he replied no they dont know if I hit a pothole or not I will pay off my card and I will take my service somewhere else.

Went there when I first moved here and will never go back. First they tried to cheat us by saying our rotor were bad and when they showed us the rotor it wasnt even our. Tip: When getting your tires or brakes done mark your rotor somehow you will be able to identify it that way if they say you need rotors and show you a rotor youll know if its yours. And then secondly we didnt have a lot of money when we first moved up here So we asked for the cheapest brakes for now and they said that the cheapest was a set of them for 500+. Later after we had a chance to get to know the area we f I understand that was a lie too. Dont trust th mechanics there. Go to Exhaust Pros on main instead.

I have four cars, and for one reason or another each of them has needed large or small repair. This Midas shop is wonderful. I am especially impressed with the customer relations. Every effort is made to explain the repairs, to schedule the work according to customer need, and to take the time to answer questions. The actual repair work has been first-rate. I recommend this Midas shop to everyone, with enthusiasm.

About a month ago my muffler blew. These guys got me in that day and had me out of there in roughly an hour; despite not having an appointment they gladly took me in. Today they did an inspection on my vehicle, and very clearly explained everything to me; and answered all my questions. Tomorrow theyre going to be replacing quite a few parts on my vehicle, and i have total faith that theyll do it right. These guys are friendly, honest and straightforward.If you question this shop and this crew, maybe you need to question the shop youre about to go to; because I get small town vibes from this shop and only authentic character from these guys. Id totally crack a cold one with these boys!

What a JOKE. Never go there. We had an oil change done and they tighten the plug so tight no one could get it out. So, its like a plan of theirs to make sure to get return business. I called set up an appointment. He said bring it in at 8, it will take 1/2hr. My husband goes there and they are like oh we have you done for a drop off, no way I can get to this now. I specifically told Mike we are coming from Dilworth and I needed to know if I should drop off or will it be quick. He said it will be done in 1/2hr. LIAR!! Doesnt obviously respect your time.VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Excellent service! Came in for an oil change (showed up almost 15 minutes late right before close) and the guys happily helped me with my oil change AND rusty license plate screws! I was traveling across country and in a bit of a bind because I started to hear what sounded like a wheel bearing going bad. I called ahead from 2 hours out and they were the only place on our route who would take us in. I got there about a hour before closing time on Friday, and after looking it over the manager showed me a problem on the control arm.He asked and the whole crew agreed to stay late to work on it, then to my surprise they finished before I expected and the total cost was quite fair. Thanks for a great experience and for keeping us safe on the road when we still had a long way to go!

Midas is so awesome. I always take my car there. The guys that work there treat me with respect. They always answer my questions about what is wrong and why things need to be done. They walk me through why a part is bad. They explain everything down to the last detail, making me feel like Im part of the process. I wouldnt take my car to anybody else. Most recently I had noise in one of the wheels. They got my car in and changed the wheel bearing in less than 3 hours. It was amazing.

Have been doing business with Midas for years. Mike is very knowledgeable and honest. He is more than willing to show you exactly what the problem is and why things are becoming more costly to repair should they run into problems. Prices are competitive and definitely cheaper than going to a dealer.

I paid for the most expensive oil change they had, and they didnt change my oil filter. Now Its been around 5-6k miles later, my engine is dying, and if they wouldve taken the time to do their job right I wouldnt be shopping for a new car right now. Would not recommend.

Lately, the technicians in the back have been doing some very bad work. If I could give them zero stars I would.Here is what I have experienced with this company lately:1) you will pay them to fix your vehicle.2) the technician working on your vehicle might at most do 50% of the work and pull your vehicle out for you to pick-up after you pay.3) you end up bringing it back into them to fix the same part again a few weeks later, only this time the technician will do maybe 15% of the work to fix the same part that should have been 100% fixed the first time and what you paid for the first time.4) the above cycle repeats and repeats until you have sunk hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars into getting that part fixed ($100 per hour in labor charge, plus parts and shop supplies charges and taxes).Not good.

Had them do a full inspection after buying a used car. Still had issues with power steering after. Not going back to them. My blinkers sometimes dont work. They tried it and just said they seem to be work now. They didnt even catch the leak on the hose for the powerstearing. Had to go back 2 hours later cuz the fluid was gone

My first Midas experience. And it was a good one! Friendly, funny service and great work. Ive been through a few mechanics in town here and they werent my favorite. After seeing the reviews for this crew, AND seeing the ability to make an appt online, I was sold. I was in and out in a very timely manner, charged accordingly, not filled with a bunch of bs, and my car didnt have to sit in their lot for days before they got to it. Ill be back guys. Thanks for making my auto life easy and for the elbow grease it took to get the job done.

HORRIBLE. I went in for a 30 min oil change then they found something wrong with it so they asked to fix it since it was a serious problem. It’s been almost 3 hours. They have not talked to me to see if I needed anything. They have not updated me on their progress. I had to cancel my shift at work because they took so long and didn’t let me know how long it would take. Very unprofessional. Never coming back to the Fargo Midas. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Mike and his crew are top knotch. Even when they are far behind if I can leave my car or truck with him they always seem to squeeze it in. They have earn my business for as long as this crew stays the same. With that said. The work is right on, no over selling, and they stand by what they do and they are very thorough with the task that you give them. I am not easy to please and they have never failed me. Go with confidence that they will do it right the first time.

I have been going to midas for a few years now. I had the misfortune of impetuously buying a lemon. The car was a money pit from the 1st week I had it and it stayed a disaster for a few years after. It needed a complete makeover. So Mike and I got to know each other quite well. He has always been a straight shooter, and more than fair. Of all the work I had done it was top notch, except one time where the problem didnt get fixed due to it being multiple things wrong that the reader may have not picked up on, or a mistake was made (we are all human). I called Mike about it and he picked up the bill somehow and allowed me to make payments because he knew I was down and out at the time. He is the easiest and friendliest guy to work with and why I have been with Midas and will continue to be

Most honest mechanics i have ever seen 3 times now ive seen customers come in claiming the dealership claims something is seriously wrong then they come here to find out the problem is much simpler and cheaper to fix they couldve replaced what the customer thought was bad and make lots of money but they didnt they remained honest and instead of a 1000 dollar bill they expected they only paid 100 hard to find honest mechanics i always expect them to try stealing all my money but not this place ive only seen complete honesty and have never felt ripped off here thank you guys😁 i hope the people i watched u save alot of money at least come on to leave a review of how awesome u guys are for not stealing there money replacing parts that did not need to be replaced

I got brand new tires today and my car now drives better than it did when I bought the car!!! But the service that a got there was almost better than the tires everyone was nice and answered all my questions it was amazing Ive taken my cars other places before and i usually get rushed out the door and they act like they are just happy to get my money but midas gave service with a smile wich is how its supposed to be thats why I will always take my car the from now on!!! Thanks Mike and all the other employees that worked on my car!

Mike and the guys here have been nothing but honest with me, I have a 20 year old Chevy pickup that obviously needs a little TLC every now and then. I originally brought it there just to have a routine muffler replacement done, and now will trust them to do everything else since they definitely seem to know these trucks in and out. Obviously aging vehicles get kind of spendy to repair, but I have never been gouged here and feel as if all things are explained very clearly when it comes to charges. Lifetime warranties have been offered on parts, which is a big deal to me since Im keeping this truck until the wheels literally fall off. That looks to be many years from now if the guys at Midas keep doing what they are doing.Scheduling has always been easy, Ive never had issues getting service work done flexible to my crazy schedule.I definitely recommend this Midas location to anyone that doesnt want to deal with those status-quo shops that like to find things wrong just to find things wrong.

Very dishonest. .....will cause more problems to your car. While sitting in the waiting room and guy had been three times for same thing and still was not about give a clear answer. They staff is rude at times. ..have had over few oil changes with them and they still yell and ask in and they tell me Oh you been hear before! After having work on my ac my car became un- driver able. My car over heated and after letting ford dealer ship look at it ...they said it was very clear someone had damaging my car more then fixing it ! Please go so where else !! Save ur self and car. Just playing customer that paid them mess up my vehicle! ! Please be safe with them !!
