Service DepartmentI have been using Suburban for a few years now and they have consistently delivered a high quality service. Typically I have used the Express Lane for oil changes and points to mention are: The staff are always polite, professional and friendly, the waiting facilities are modern, clean and provide complimentary refreshments, and the wait time for an oil change is almost always less than 1 hour. My most recent experiences were due to some non-functioning systems in my vehicle, I called for an appointment and they fitted me in the next day! Rob in service was polite and professional and had the vehicle fixed and back to me within just a few hours.I would recommend Suburban Chrysler Jeep in Farmington

Great service! Scheduled appointments available sooner than all others in the area. I have been going to them since soon after they opened. My second Ram 1500 I had purchased at another dealership and needed my truck fixed that day, after calling around Suburban was the only one that said they could fix it while I waited. Easily scheduled my service appointment. My service advisor Rob greeted me shortly after arrival. Left my vehicle and I was offered transportation (didnt need it though). Was notified promptly via phone and email when my vehicle was ready for pick-up. Repairs were completed as requested and vehicle was washed. Great experience overall and will definitely return to Suburban CDJR Farmington Hills when service is necessary. Thank you!

This is still the dealership with the worst customer service. Went in to pick up my jeep, the service guy asked my last name, handed me my paperwork and key and said you are all set. There was one other lady working in there with no other customers and no one was on the phone. I asked what was wrong with my jeep, he said it’s in the report. I’m sorry, my jeep is 2 months old and the report you gave me is 3 pages!!! He told me it’s in the report. Fine I guess I’ll look at it. I asked where my jeep is, he responds “ if you go outside and honk you’ll find it”. What?!? You can’t tell me where my car is and go get it? Don’t care how conveniently located this dealership is, I will not come back here. They couldn’t even charge my jeep for me while it was there, which I didn’t care about, but after the horrible customer service is another reason I won’t go back. If you want to be treated like a human being, go someplace else.

I made an appointment for service and upon arrival the correct services were not scheduled. Initially, I was told simply that they were so sorry but because it involved both service AND collision, it could not be corrected. I was pretty frustrated when I left as I had taken the day off to complete all of the services and I had been very specific when making the appointment. Amanda was very kind and sympathetic but was unable to correct the situation. When I returned home, I reached back out to the dealership to let them know how disappointed I was. Patty, a manager, quickly stated that she would find a way to have both of the services completed that day. Rob texted to let me know that he was the adviser on my car and to reach out if I had any issues. He called around 1:30 (took car in at 9) and said all of the services were complete and that I could pick my car up at any time. So although I was very frustrated and vowed not to return to that dealership as I was leaving at 9 am, the hard work and effort of the team involved in my service was greatly appreciated and I will certainly continue my relationship with this dealership.

From the moment I pull into the shop, Dee greets me with a smile and is ready to listen and let me know any maintenance that needs to be accomplished. Very poor customer service; Manager is arrogant even after I called in to complain.My vehicle was scheduled for oil change and Software update. I was told I need a car rental. I drove the rental car off and returned home. In 30 minutes, I was notified my vehicle is ready. Fine, I got there and found the Change Engine Oil light is still on and did not see the oil change sticker. Went back and told them. One guy came out and reset my oil change sign and let me go. I thought something is not right but had a meeting to attend so I drove home. Next day received an invoice and there was no oil change. I called in a week later. I was treated like whats the big deal, just schedule another appointment. Come-on, I bought oil change and other services up front 18 months ago. I was notified by Mopar to come get my oil changed and it wasnt done. What if I didnt check my invoice? I asked to speak to the manager. After I explained to her the whole story, it took me 5 minutes to go over it again, only thing she said was she can schedule an appointment to change the oil. No apology at all??? I felt like I was a fool.

Came in for a coolant flush and refill because of engine beginning to overheat. 2010 JK Jeep. Ended up needing a radiator, plus other things.... needless to say..... expensive repair. Thankfully I had a warranty for when I bought my Jeep used. Even more thankfully, Dee, (who is awesome), took the initiative when contacting the warranty company, to get them to cover even more that needed to be taken care of, making sure my Jeep was in tip top condition, and I didn’t have to call them at all. It was a Beautiful thing.Dee, made my experience extremely positive. I highly recommend. :)

We had an appointment with Bryan Galczynski. It was a very long drive since we don’t live in the area but Bryan was recommended to us by a friend. When we came to the reception area, the receptionist called him and he came out. He just looked at us and told the receptionist that he’s not available. He totally ignored our presence. Then, he just turned away and left. He didn’t even speak a single word even though he made that appointment with us over the phone. WHO TREATS CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT? Very arrogant and unprofessional. We felt embarrassed. It was awful.

I purchased my first vehicle from Suburban in August of 2020. It was a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 and it was beautiful. In fact, the used car sale manager Doug told me it was in such great shape that if I didnt act quick, they were adding another $1,000 onto the price tag the next day. Less than three months later, the truck broke due to an electrical issue. My mechanic, upon inspecting the vehicle again, found pre existing electrical issues that had been there before I bought the truck, a junk catalytic, clips missing from the injectors and the main plug into the motor, and three bolts missing from the transmission. Essentially, they sold me a dud vehicle that could have harmed me while I was driving. My mechanic fixed the truck for me as best he could but then three months later the truck breaks again, due to electrical issues. After looking under the dashboard and fully dismantling my fuse box, my mechanic found flood damage and wires with no caps leading to absolutely nothing, which is extremely dangerous for the fire hazard alone not to mention the fact that the faulty wiring caused my car to completely stop acceleration and then stop altogether while I was driving which again could have been harmful to my life. All of this happened within 7 months of me purchasing the vehicle. My mother and I spoke to Doug to try to resolve the problem but he refused to help. He claims that my car was sold as is and that there is nothing they will do about it. He claims he told me to have my vehicle inspected, which I did, but he is a sales manger at a dealership so he should know very well that cars older than 10 years or have more than 100,000 miles(mine only had 120,000) dont get 100 point inspections and no inspections dismantle the dashboard or fuse box so how was I supposed to have found these problems before. I am a 20 year old who saved up to buy a $15,000 truck that I cant even drive and no one at this awful dealership will do anything to help. With the electrical issues car had, Ive already put $5,200 into it and it wont even start at this point. It will cost me even more in labor and parts to get it to start. I would not recommend ever purchasing from any Suburban, they are shady people who are just looking to get cars out of their lot. The truck was not worth $15,000 when they sold it me, so I have no idea how Doug was going to increase the price so quickly. FYI anyone buying used cars from this dealership should know that Doug himself said they just check if the car starts and brakes before they put it on the lot however he did not tell me that upfront, him and Rick Poe told me that the car was in great shape. Rick Poe even told me hed sell this vehicle to his daughter. Its good to know that Doug and his team at Suburban wants people to purchase unsafe vehicles from them, they will say anything to make a sale. Truly an untrustworthy man and an untrustworthy dealership. Dont waste your time and MONEY buying from him.

My service tech forgot about me! Went in to have my Cherokee inspected for a safety recall. He assured me it would be an hour at most, but probably less. After 1.5 hours, I texted him. He came and got me in the waiting room a while later, apologizing. Said hed gone to lunch and forgot about me. I have better things to do with my time. Very annoying.

Most people have little to no knowledge of what is actually wrong with their vehicle when they bring it in for service. It is up to the professionals to ask the right questions when a vehicle is brought in to get to the root problem the customer is experiencing. A professional would test before and after completing the task. This was not performed in this case and after spending $300.00 the condition that the vehicle was brought in for still existed. We were then told sorry we did what you asked. very unprofessional, and now we would need to bring it back for diagnostics. I can assure you it will not be to this dealership. There are better ways to make money off of your customers.

Service agents are friendly and helpful in every step of the process from appointment to random questions and advising on maintenance items. Last service was for 4x4 and fuel injectors, and everything was taken care of within an hour. I’ve been happy to service my Jeep here for several years and all the staff have been great. Just need to bring in the Jeep when that pesky TPMS sensor is acting up, it’s always fine when there but goes off again the next day!

Dreadful service!I have a 2016 Grand Cherokee, the factory fitted low beam lights are very poor, so I bought some after market LED and asked if they could fit them which they were willing to do. Having bought them in a week a go they then said ( Kevin ) they would did not fit, when i went to my car the box was still sealed.Another service manager then gave me a website to go to assuring me that they would fit, and that i should return to get them fitted. I spent another $100 on the next set having already spent $100 + on the original set. I returned this morning as instructed only to be told by Kevin that his tech guy did not want to do the work because the bulbs had a small piece of wiring that regulates the voltage. He also advised that the service dept manger Patty agreed with him and they did not want to undertake the work, so far I have spent over $200 plus and two wasted trips.I have bought 3 Grand Cherokee Jeeps from this dealership. I will not be buying any more cars from them or bringing my existing Jeep in for service by them...They just lost a good customer

Ordering of Mopar accessories went off without any issue, but their labor costs to install are anything but transparent. Charged for 6 hours of labor for something the Mopar website and documentation said should take two hours. If you go in for accessories, make certain it’s clear what you’re paying for. I’m still not sure.Also, left drilled metal and plastic in the bed of my truck. Couldn’t at least sweep that out after the job was done?

Bought a used car which had a check engine light illuminated. Was told it was JUST the catalytic converter which was why the price was what it was. $3500 and a recall service later check engine light remains illuminated. The manager claims that because I agreed to buy the car with the CEL on that there is nothing that they can do. These rats will scam you out of any penny you may be carrying. I have warned everyone that I know not to ever buy a car from this multi-million dollar dealership which sells lemonade stands as cars for 10 bands.

I purchased a used car from here. On the test drive it drove great, the customer service was great. Until I signed all the paper work. I purchased the car Thursday by Saturday it had 4 warnings lights on it. I reached out to Doug no response until days later, I spoke with Leeny and between him and Doug I felt like trash Im veteran of the UNITED STATES NAVY and would expect a be treated better. It reminded me of a buy here pay here lot .
