Love our new couch and outdoor chaise! The quality is great, the look is pretty and it all shipped so much faster than anticipated! Mickie from the showroom, our sales person, was awesome. He let us have our space at the store and helped when we needed help. We looked at so many different things and he was so patient with us and kept looking up prices and delivery dates. The American Furniture store in Farmington might have gotten smaller but the personal attention from the salesman Myron was outstanding. The communication throughout the delivery process, was equally outstanding. My furniture was delivered at the exact time they said it would be delivered. I can’t say enough about Ian, the delivery person. He was extremely professional and considerate. He thoroughly inspected the furniture and assembled the pieces so quickly. I was very impressed with the entire experience.

First attempt at furniture: delivery didn’t happen. Now, I’ve tried to make a purchase via credit card over the phone— went through on my end, but incompetent salesperson said it didn’t go through on his end, so now I have to go through the hassle of getting the order cancelled. Just don’t do it! Furniture is overpriced and cheap either way

A very nice experience. I went in looking for a bed set and found the one I wanted for a very good price. I wasnt ever hovered over, but instead checked on occasionally by employees (versus being followed/harassed to buy). All employees were nice and helpful, and gave a lot of suggestions around the store. It was easy to check out and get my information organized for delivery and payment. Overall a great experience. Lots of good prices, selection, and helpful workers.

The furniture we purchased was good quality and well priced. The movers were very careful not to damage the walls and floors to our new house and let me know about damage to the coffee table before taking it off the truck. They kept the coffee table at my request and scheduled a replacement. I could have kept the coffee table until the new one showed up so that was nice but I prefer they kept it . I would recommend the store.

I absolutely loved the fact that American Home Furnishings was able to deliver my daughters Christmas gift a bunkbed that I ended up having to cancel from one of the biggest competitors in the area since they couldn’t ever get the bed to be available for delivery for over 6 weeks & this is after they already had my full payment & two weeks after Christmas. One thing though, thankfully it was all refunded to me, ( I guess props for that 😏)American Home Furnishings even matched the white glove delivery fee that their competitors had charged. American Home Furnishings ended up saving me more money on the mattresses a total savings of over $150 compared to their competitors.Thanks American Home Furnishings team of Farmington; Tony, Gina & their boss & the great delivery drivers Ian & Ryan for providing such wonderful American Home customer service that can be very hard to find anymore. My only regret is not going to your store first!

The Farmington personnel were great in providing detailed knowledge on everything we bought. They were not pushy at all. The delivery service they provided was outstanding. Curtis W, a local manger has been great to work with on correcting the problem with my patio furniture special order. Two patio table tops and the lazy Susan had the wrong color tile, Curtis called multiple times and worked diligently with me to get the problem corrected. I am very satisfied that Curtis and American Home Furniture were genuinely concerned about the quality of my order and did everything they could to ensure I was happy with my new OW Lee fire pit tables.Two thumbs up for customer care.

Bought a couch and chair 4 days before they were closing and moving everything in the store to Albuquerque. Paid for delivery and told salesman I would let him know the next day if I could pick it up and cancel the delivery. He said they would refund the delivery fee if I did, and we had until Sunday to let him know (I purchased it on Thursday). I called the next day to tell them I could pick up the furniture, but they had already moved the furniture to Albuquerque. I didn’t feel I should pay the delivery fee due to their lack of communication to their employees, since they took the furniture to Albuquerque before I was told it would be going. They would not refund the delivery fee and said they would rather refund my money, so I said I would take the refund. Thus is terrible customer service and I am not surprised they are going out of business. Still waiting on proof they are refunding my money.

If I could put zero I would. Terrible cheap furniture DO NOT BUY extra warranted, when you try to use it it covers nothing. I my case we bought a recliner last March. Not even a year later the seat has sunk in so much your touching springs. They had a tech come out, he said its that type of chair. They wont honor their warrantee or manufacturers. They tell me Manufacturer will not deal with me only them, they will not give me the number so whatever they tell them is what they go by. Ill bet chair is manufactured by them. Will not let me exchange chair. Will now have to go to small claims court. my neighbor bought a leatherette couch from them, in 6 months it was all peeling, that one they wont resolve either. Horrible company do not trust them OR their furniture. That chair was 700.00, not cheap. CrooksTo the owner I posted this on FB too, thats only 100,000 people it reaches. Love the responses of it happen to many of them too. Love the power of FB hope people listen to me and all other complaints. Merry Christmas to you too.

Prices were fine. Sales were good. Sales floor was huge. Great place if you are shopping around. Looks really ratty on the outside, but inside was clean and presentable.

Like this store. Only problem is that have to wait for things to come up to store from Albuqerque. Only have displays. Salespeople older, so a little slow on computer. Cant be in a hurry, but everyone is very friendly. Rocker/recliner I bought about a year&A half ago holding up very well. Shopped for a couch today.

Anybody thinking about purchasing furniture from this store should think twice. My family has had a line of credit and purchased several items from them. No problem with the furniture but we also bought the protection plan. Was told any problems would be covered with this added protection. Filed a claim and three weeks later they had no records of the claim. Re filed and was told 2 weeks later they had no cleaning services in our area. One month later they still havent replaced my unit. DO NOT BUY HERE!

If I could leave zero stars I would & its all because of 1 person...Steve (a manager in the Farmington store).We purchased a Lane couch and loveseat set in April. It was a store drop which meant the store was no longer going to carry it so we had to settle with the floor model which was fine after we looked it over, inspected, etc very thoroughly. After only maybe a month we started having issues with one of the recliners on the loveseat shutting properly. Were contacted customer service, they sent a technician out & we received a replacement directly from the manufacturer. Now only 6 months after initial purchase the replacement loveseat is doing the same thing. We had a technician come out & he discovered the frame brace supports are separating from the frame due to faulty construction. I was contacted by customer service & told that we cant get the same loveseat because Lane was bought out by another company & they basically dont make this set anymore so I was told were needed to do a re-select, choose a whole new ensemble but it had to be equal or more in value. We went down to the local store & found a new set that is $700 more. I felt that since we were in our 1 year warranty period we shouldnt have to pay the difference especially since it was no fault of ours. We also werent being picky on the new set other than it needed to fit my husband who is 64. I explained my thoughts to our original sales person, Tony (who has been very helpful) & also advised him that were ste a 1 income family & have a budget. He advised I speak to the manager, Steve. When I discussed my thoughts/concerns with Steve he said of theyre (meaning Lane) not going to stand behind their product then theres nothing he can do about it. I explained my concerns in a different way & told him why we picked the set we picked & explained to him how tall my husband is. He said well maybe he should come down here. I told him he was already down there the night before & thats what works for his size. He then said well we cant cut into our margin so theres nothing I can do, maybe you should find a sectional. I was irate! We have spent a substantial amount of money in the store in the last 6-9 months & to be completely disregarded like this is unacceptable. Never will I deal with Steve ever again. I dont care if hes the last person left at this store, Ill take my business elsewhere. Let me also make you aware that we cannot get a refund... only an exchange for the same price we paid or more. So if we find something less they keep the difference or we add more stuff so we get the slight amount we paid. I am currently working in this with Steves boss who I hope is 100 times better than him
