The Painted Chair offers classes of GREAT FUN!! I really enjoyed the ceramic Christmas tree painting class. And the folks who own the store are so very friendly. Its just a great place to go!

I recently did a class at The Painted Chair with some friends. We had such a great time. Laura is a great instructor and for someone like me with zero talent, I came home with a beautiful piece I made myself. The atmosphere is great. Its a very relaxing and fun place to paint. I will definitely be back!!!

Such a fun and caring business! They hosted a paint for our 4h group of kids and did such a wonderful job! I also love going there w my friends and family to paint. It’s ALWAYS a good time! Perfect atmosphere!

Amazing staff!!! So talented, friendly, and accommodating! I have done canvas paintings there, woodworking projects, and Im having a private party there soon and I cannot wait! The Painted Chair is my go-to for a fun, relaxing, something different with friends and my kids. Laura is the friendliest and Beth is always a great help with the projects. So happy our little town has something like this for all ages to enjoy!

This place is phenomenal! They make it so easy to design custom pieces with their in house artists. So family friendly! I just love all the pieces I have brought home and can’t wait for the next!

Fantastic classes and kid programs. Easy for anyone to follow, regardless of artistic skill. Very reasonably priced and you get to keep your creation. Highly recommend for a good time and a place to get out of your comfort zone.

This is where you come if you want to meet people who care. Run by a local couple who put all their love and skills into it - carpentry, crafts, painting, they even sell custom made paint. Classes and projects held here for anyone who wants to participate (did a lovely scene with my SO thats hanging on my wall now). And they remember you - went back months later despite hardly having talked to them and they remembered exactly what wed done with them.

The staff here is amazing. Ive enjoyed several evenings here painting and recently purchased a beautiful piece from the store. I look forward to spending more time here in the future. Highly recommend!

Dont be fooled by troll reviews! Laura & her staff are highly professional and ethical. There is a wide variety of classes which are reasonably priced for both adults and kids. Great place to work and have fun. It doesn’t matter if you’re doing stencil signs, canvas painting or participating in one of the many children’s art activities- you’re going to love the place especially now that it’s moved into a larger place.

Laura recently painted a dresser that has been in my family for years. She got it done SO quickly and it is absolutely beautiful. Looking forward to picking it up today and putting it in place at home. Love The Painted Chair!

I have purchased a few pieces of furniture from Painted chair and I watch for more pieces. This place is amazing and I highly recommend them! The owners are so nice and I am lucky I have found them.

The painted chair while in concept and facilities seems like a lovely place. I am saddened and shocked that they openly promote and defend design theft along with attacking the original artist of said design in a juvenile fashion. Shame on you painted chair for making the business of creativity more difficult than it has to be. Shame on the owners for not doing their due diligence as to where their “artist” gets their designs from. This is a sad day, a black stain on the creative arts industry. Shame on you for being thieves and liars along with your attacks on decent people defending the creator of the art you stole!!

Sad that this company has lied to its customers. They have stolen art from working artists and claimed as their own and now are trying desperately to get people to give them positive reviews because they were called out for theft of intellectual property. Check out the Art Sherpa for free tutorials of several of this companys events.

My daughter takes the art classes with Mrs Beth. She is a wonderful lady who has inspired my daughter to continue pushing herself in the arts.

The Painted Chair is such a cool place with the nicest owner! My niece was able to enjoy an amazing art class there while she was in town, and she loved it. Literally every single thing I see that comes from this store is amazing. When Laura works on something for a customer, it is always sooooo well done. When she helps a customer with a DIY project, she helps that customer finish with pride. The Painted Chair is becoming a Farmington MUST for sure!

I saw TPC openly using another artist’s design without crediting that artist. I happen to know that when this issue was addressed, the owner of TPC behaved in an unprofessional way toward the original artist. I would say childish, but most children would not have acted the way the owner did since children know how to be fair and know better than to steal. I have been to paint and sip style places before, as well as used online free tutorials to paint from home. It’s disappointing that a business would copy the idea of another and then insult and belittle the artist.

I was really excited to come and attend the paint n sip event on October 4th with my niece when I came to visit her next month but upon further look I cant support a company that blatantly steals other artists work and claims it as their own and then insults the original artist when they get called out. Ive looked in to several past events and have seen several events that featured work stolen from a popular YouTuber! Id seriously reconsider before giving this company your money! The Art Sherpa offers a workshop that provides companies such as this the rights to use her works but The Painted Chair has not bought in to this option. They instead watch the free art lessons Cinnamon Cooney shares on her channel and then copy it all and claim it as theirs... pathetic! You wont get a penny from me!

Just cause you delete the comments and the post about the Oct. 4th Witches painting, doesnt mean the problem dissappears. It already has been screenshoted. That is a copyrighted Art Sherpa painting and it is theft to use it without her permission.😠
