Obviously, youre going to pay a bit more then the big box stores. But the customer service is fantastic, everything you need is here besides wood products. Please support the little guy!

Taylor Hardware is that small but mighty brick and mortar harware store.While they don’t have the aisles and aisles of product like those big box stores, they have what you need and unlike big box stores - they will help you find it.Customer Service is amazing and well worth your visit!Toro Snowblower that needs repair? This place had us feeling nostalgic! It was just great! We thought we would mix business with pleasure and see our niece: because she works there, while we checked out the screw drivers! Didnt get a screw driver but we did get a fantastic shepards hook on sale! If you want to step back in time a little bit, go to Taylor Hardware. When you need it they more than likely have it. They help you get the parts and pieces to get the unusual projects done. The prices extremely competitive. Sometimes even lower that the big box store. Couple this with the fact that the associates here that actually know and understand the products their selling. You get what you need and are on your way quickly.

I love visiting real hardware store and working with someone that know the entire store line the back of their hand. This to me is entertaining, and Taylors wont disappoint. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely great service

An absolutely wonderful local hardware store! Staffed by both men and women which I know can be a very big plus for people who want a different opinion on items. Theyre always kind and extremely knowledgeable about their products and how to use them. They want to help and they want to help you get what you need even if they dont carry it they will try to order it or they might even tell you where you can go to get it. Im always happy to go in here and I love the small-town feel compared to having to go to something big like Home Depot or Lowes.

Old school Hardware store service. They meet you at the front door, ask you what you need and help you find it. if youre just a cheap price shopper stay out of the store, quit bothering these nice people and leave more time for me :-)

Very disappointed...my husband and I have gone to this hardware store for years because we want to support local and support smaller businesses. We went to buy a replacement propane hose and valve, and the person helping was helpful...however, upon getting home to attach it - it was the wrong part. We went to return it and was told that we could not because we did not have the packaging. First, is it not your job to know and look at the part that I am bringing in to make sure it is correct? I specifically brought in the broken part to ensure that I was not getting the wrong thing, but an exact match. I will be honest, I am a consumer that does not know much about hardware (hence, bringing in the broken piece to match) so I go and trust the business that is supposed to be knowledgeable and have expertise in their products. Second, should it not be on you to take back your product or at least give me store credit for the mistake that you made by selling me the wrong product? Its very disappointing when something like this happens and it really defers me from going or recommending their business in the future.06-21-18: First, I work 40+ hours and my husband works 50+ hours in the Detroit area. We love Fenton and the small business that grow in our community. So to shame me on a review for not responding to you in 3 days time is a bit rude...Secondly, and nonetheless, thank you for a response, but my husband and I do not have interest in continuing using your business. Thank you.***FOR FUTURE CUSTOMERS...I will say, that I have no complaints about the customer service here. I should have made that point in my first review. There is always someone there immediately to greet and help. However, make sure you know the return policy before making your way home with items. Continue to support local businesses, but HOPE that the local businesses show courtesy and care for their consumers.

I went in today to get some fasteners, Ive shopped there for years, got my Toro snowblower there, asked if I could use the restroom and the guy that asked if he could help, couldnt have been ruder, pointing over saying theres a Subway down the way. They just lost a longtime customer.
