Absolutely bad experience! A year and five months ago I came in and got all new 4 tires done and I have only driven 800 miles since getting them. I started to notice that the two front tires are getting extremely bald which indicates an issue with alignment. I went to see if the warranty will cover this damage and the new tires and I asked about the alignment and showed the owner Luis the receipts and it turns out an alignment was never done. I have been driving this whole time ruining brand new tires because I had the impression that the alignment was done. I would have been more than willing to pay extra for the alignment right then and there if I was informed that it was not already included. I remember clearly I was never even offered to have an alignment done. When I showed Luis everything he barely had any reaction or anything to say; at one point we were just staring at each other and I was waiting for his customer service to kick in as a business manager and say I apologize Nataly for what you have experienced and we can take care of this or I will do it for you and charge a small fee (anything like that). I mean that is the simplest form of customer service so you keep your customers happy and get new customers referred to your business. But Oh Man!! what a dry person and I will never take my business there again. I recommend whoever is reading this to find a better place to take their vehicles.

I went to Phillips Auto repair because I trusted them with the service of my Dodge Dart 2013. Unfortunately I paid them 900 dollars only for the same problem to re emerge. Apparently the problem was not fixed at the initial visit were I paid fo the services.The car was “apparently “ fixed for. The valve cover Gasket, Gasket, Spark Plug and ignition coil were not fixed. Hence my car is still leaking and is causing further damages to my car. I took it to Phillips hoping they would own up to their mistake but instead insisted the ignition coil was the only thing wrong with it despite it leaking oil. Long story short they are terrible at business they will not own up to the warranty they offer to your vehicle and I will be following up with the Florida department of Agriculture’ and Consumer services. I want my money back ! Below is the picture of my oil with only 1 week of it been serviced for an oil change at the dealership. Your going to tell me is not leaking when the oil is that low? Try again! Be aware of bad service !!!Because of you guys lousy work I had to go to another mechanic to fix it which resulted in an additionally 1,000 dollars. You might have changed the parts but the work was terrible resulting in another mechanic having to replace all the ignition coils, valve cover gasket and spark plugs which were covered al in oil I have the parts to prove it in court.Oil was leaking on the spark plugs y’all masked the problem and did not fixed it so yes you might not have charged me when you replaced one and not four of my ignition coils which were covered in oil leleage if anything you owe me a refund.

My 2006 Kia Sorento had its engine overheat and die. So Lewis was able to replace it as well as my clutch. It runs like a champ now. Great work, & was so patient, professional. Great price for the amount of work. Highly recommended.

We take all of our cars to Lewis. He is very knowledgeable with all makes of cars and you get an HONEST mechanic and service. In a big city with many options for service I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I called 2 times to get my car dyno tuned and once to get it aligned. I was first told that “you need garage insurance” when wanting to rent the dyno out. I guess being a YouTuber counts as garage insurance because adamlz and Matt shulman got right in. Also called to get the car alignment. Two week lead time. Was a waste of time trying to get in there and even when I said “ok, you tune my car” I got no call back.

They got my car in right away. Evaluated my car and gave me a full report without nickel and diming

Phillips Tire and Auto did an outstanding job on my alignment for my 2019 Mazda MX-5. They have a laser alignment machine. I brought in my own specs and they put it up on the lift and got right to work no questions asked. This is a performance minded shop for a performance minded customer. Experienced mechanics and the shop has that mom and pop shop type feel. I’m a perfectionist and this place fits all the criteria. Unless it’s warranty type work I’m not bringing my car anywhere else. Lots of cool cars there to look at and they even have an older running mx-5 cup car which I’m pretty sure the owner used to race. These guys seem like they’ll fix anything! Don’t be fooled by the big corporate sponsor logo this place is anything but a corporate owned shop.

Great Shop! Ive used them several times. This time I ordered some tires I liked online and they did a great job installing them and did a PERFECT alingment. I lifted my truck 3 inches and they aligned it back to specs. Took their time to do it right. Theyve done AC work for me that lasted for years on my old expedition too.

They are closed & they make giant noise with cars. Corvette noise often. Its like the Daytona 500. I happen to not live far. Yes they do good work. But they need to take a break from the giant revving up of motors. Respect your neighborhood?

I have been doing business with Lewis Phillips (no relation to me), Tom and the rest of the techs at Phillips Tire and Auto for about 7 years now. I tell everyone I can about them because there are so few places in todays economy and society where you can get straight up honesty. I have so many examples, but recently, they were about to perform a function on my automobile they hadnt performed before so they consulted the FORD service tech manual and quoted me the 6 hours of labor the task called for. I approved the work. When I picked up the care, I noticed they had charged me for 2 hours of labor. I asked what happened, and they told me it wasnt as hard or labor/time intense as the manual suggested. They could have billed me for the 6 hours, and I would never have said a word. That is the kind of decent people they are. I love those guys!

I went there to get my brake pads replaced and knew my brake lights were out which I thought was an electrical issue and I was going to take care of later. Went there to pick up my van the next day and he said he went ahead and replaced both your brake lights and they work just fine. I was amazed they would take the time to do that when they didnt have to to make sure things were safe for my family and I. I would recommend them to anybody that needs a vehicle serviced.

I appreciate the review. But, I wonder of the accuracy. Where the obvious was missed and other items were misdiagnosed and I have been airing the car out for a week as it smells as though someone smoked a cigar in it w/ the windows up. I have never had any work done at this garage so I cannot attest to the service and repairs.

These guys are Great! If you need a ride but dont have enough money for a brand new one, they will find you the best used tire they have to get you back on the road as quick as possible. I dont go anywhere else for used tires.

Even though I manage to try going elsewhere or doing things myself, when I get into a real pickle I always end up coming back here. I always know they are going to take care of my car. I’m not really sure why I even bother trying to go to other places. I’ve already decided that this will be my home shop from now on, even though they are about 30 mins away, it’s worth the drive. The only reason they wouldn’t be able to do something is if they don’t have the equipment or they don’t have the time do that kind work (body/paint or putting in a roll cage). But anything maintanence wise and possibly modifications depending on how heavy they will be able to take care of it.

Nothing was wrong with my car and they checked my tire pressure and put air on my tires. They went out of theyre way and it was all done in less then 30 minutes. These guys are awesome:)

Theyre great but I was helping someone pick up their car.

My car was fine but I had trouble with the steering wheel so I took it to Phillips tire and auto to see what was wrong with it and to see if it needed an alignment done. I wait for an hour and he made some suggestions about my car and what I needed to get done. After taking my car, I drive and the car shuts off on me. Do not take your car here unless you want to get ripped off. They charged me almost $1,300!!!!!

I have never received as horrible service as we recently received at this shop. We took our van in to get a diagnostic and were told the fuel pump needed to be changed out. We changed the fuel pump with them, only to find out later that they did not change the fuel level sensor when they changed the fuel pump. They never explained to us that they werent changing the sensor and they never explained to us that after doing so if the gauge stops working they wouldnt be able to change the gauge on its own. ANY mechanic knows that you ALWAYS change the fuel level sensor when you change the fuel pump. This should have all been changed out together. Well, a month later of course now the fuel gauge does not work. We went back to them and they told us that they would have to change out EVERYTHING all over again just to fix the gauge. Meaning we would need to pay them TWICE for the same service. They scammed us just to make a sale, and now wont fix our gauge. On top of that they were incredibly rude. I warn everyone to stay away from these people.

This place started out as the closest place for me to take my Xterra, but now is the only place I want to take it. Had real problem w my Distributor and they got it replaced pretty quick and for under their estimate.

I was referred to this place. It was another shop saying that they did alignments for BMWs. Lowered or modded bimmers. Well they are not good. I should have known better after i saw the shop was just a random auto shop and worked on anything and everything. They always have a reason why they are backed up not enough mechanics and bla bla bla. My ALIGNMENT Is all messed up on my 335i bmw and now Im having to take it to another place who knows what the heck they are doing. Just spend a few extra and take it down the road. They have a few more shops pass them ALIGN and a EURO shop also. THIS PLACE IS NO GOOD I would not waist your time or money.. you will wait and wait for a crap job in return

We bring all our company vehicles here once theyre out of factory warranty, Phillips Tire and Auto service has always completed our mechanical repairs on time and for a fair price. They always advise us when there are manufacturer rebates available when we buy new tires etc. I would definitely recommend them to any person needing automotive repair, new tires or brakes.
