I love the fact that there’s plenty free parking for truckers... But good luck if you need a shower. Very busy place and showers are always full with 3-4 people waiting in line. The food in Denny’s was nice tho.

Im a long haul trucker drove 2,000 miles to experience the worst of the worst customer service @ this location....its called Terribles for a reason. In my 15yr trucking career I think Flying J ought to do better when choosing who represents their brand. Definitely Rebecca (cashier) and Milo ( Store Manager ) lack customer resolution or negotiation skills even when faced with logic. Kindly Kyle youre the Regional Manager....see if these two can explain to you the incident regarding a cup of coffee and a refill mug....on 8/17/21 @ 6:15am....the reason behind Milo threatening to charge me for 3 cups if I emptied my own personal cup and refilled the Philmor.Funny thing is I went to the Pilot a few exits (Exit 46) down and Rachel was awesome had very good customer service skills.Definitely Rebecca and Milo need retraining and Rachel at the Pilot would definitely teach them skills they lack. Truckers and everyone else deserves better.

I’ve stopped here many times on my way to and through Reno. I stop here because gas is a great price. It’s a fast stop and it’s easy to get snacks. There’s a Denny’s here, a casino, (Terrible’s) and even a Cinnabon. The facility is clean and the staff has always been helpful. In addition, I typically win a few bucks at Keno. Make the choice and stop by!

So I got fuel using the Pilot Flying J app like I do everyday. Got $100 cash advance Diesel and def. Go inside to the cashier got two drinks and a thing of grapes. I said to the cashier I got a cash advance she asked what pump I said I dont know 19 I think. She asked me company name I told her she asked me truck number I told her she said sorry sir I dont see anything here how many gallons. I said I dont know how many gallons I got Diesel and def. She asked for my loyalty card I didnt have it with me was in the truck. I went back outside to the truck got my wallet came back inside went to hand her my fuel card or my loyalty card and she told me theres nothing she can do with that I need to go to the kiosk and tell her how many gallons. I went to the kiosk tried it not once but twice it said no receipt found no transaction found something like that. She proceeded to tell me if I couldnt tell her how many gallons it was theres nothing she could do. So I got aggravated went back out to my truck came back inside the store ask to speak with the manager she said yes and shes already told him about it his name is Milo. Milo came out ask me what pump I told him ask me truck number I told him you asked me my name I told him he says sign right there and he gave me my receipt and my hundred dollars. So I asked him why she couldnt do that if she was knew you didnt answer me. I said why couldnt she do that but we want to make sure were giving the money to the right person thats all. Well I wasnt going to leave there without a receipt and my feeling is I was going to leave without a receipt and the cashier was going to take the $100 and put it in her purse. I called Pilot Flying Js 800 number on the back of the card and filed a complaint with them I will never be back to this Pilot Flying J ever again. They were more worried about the line that was gathering and ringing people up then they were trying to find out why they had a problem and they couldnt find my truck or my information when it was right there in front of us to begin with sounds fishy to me.

They do have an rv dump station which is nice, but it’s timed 15 minutes and they charge $10.

Marilou was stocking shelves and running the registers...greeted everyone and was very pleasant. The store, bathrooms, and showers were super clean. One of the most pleasant Flying J I have been to.

This place has lots of options. For food you have PJ fresh, Dannys, your traditional hot dog rollers, convenience store food, and cinnabon. The store is immaculately cleaned. The rest rooms are very large and are always kept clean. The staff is very friendly. The casino is amazing. Decorated for all holidays and very welcoming.

Manager is RUDEstopped here because rv pumps. Prepaid $240 in fuel took about 20 minutes to fill tank. Only took 225. Carried my small dog in my arms to get a refund because its 100 degress outside and the rv pumps are so slow, it was too hot to leave my lil dog in the rv with no ac after the engine and actually had been off so long.Manager refused to give me my money back because i had my dog.Pumps are exceptionally slow, manager is rude. Got my refund but only because my husband was with me. I would not have let my dog set in a hot vehicle.

Great station, fast truck pumps. Bathrooms are very clean as is the rest of the station. There is food and a casino attached to this station for those driving through Nevada. A little cramped truck parking, but a decent place to fuel for sure.

Great place to grab a hot shower and good meal. Clean and very friendly staff. Store is always fully stocked with drinks, food, and of course Cinnabon. Semi truck parking lot is pretty big. Truck wash next door as well.

Not the best Flying J I’ve been to but not the worst. The actual parking area that is “attached” to the truck stop building is actually very small and can be tight to maneuver through when the spots are all occupied. The lot needs to be repaved. Most trucks park directly across the street in a much larger empty lot that has a few signs posted that say “no truck parking” but everyone parks their anyway and nobody gets towed.Fueling area exits into parking area and is poorly designed for the amount of space available. Denny’s inside (surprise, surprise) and a small casino as well.

2 different pumps kept asking for my rewards number(dont have one) and would not let me skip and pump. If this is a members only gas station it needs to be publicized with a nice big sign, so customers dont waste time.

I want to give a shout out to Mary Lu and her core staff. This morning (Sunday) they were short staffed and yet all were doing whatever was necessary to keep the place clean and running for those of us who depend on it. Mary Lu’s servant leadership was evident as she was even cleaning showers, setting an amazing example to her staff. Thank you. 💖

Clean restroom, Just started Salling ipa beer in the casino. Friendly bartenders, and a Dennys if you get hungry. For those of you that need a shower, and you know you do. They have showers.

This gas station and casino is very busy. However, the staff is very friendly and greeted me as soon as I entered. The bathroom was clean.

I hope somebody in charge of personnel reads this. I was in at around 3:30 this am. Waiting for a shower because they dont use two of them and it gets crowded. So Travis rails on a customer trying to buy 2 hot dogs. Gets a lecture of how the poor guy is suppose to know........ . What a little power trip he was on. I guess the poor guy had been up a long time, and really didnt deserve the wrath of the Hot Dog Czar.Travis told me I could leave through the same door I came in. Lol. I am used to little men like Travis, but if he were my employee, I would have a talk with him.

Good service, good coffee, and clean bathrooms

The bathrooms are not very clean. The rest looks very pretty.

The womens bathroom has cold water comming out of the sink I used. I reported it to the cashier as I made my purchase and the responce I got was >it just depends on which sink you use.< So they know theres a problem and choose not fix it. They post bulletins about wearing a mask, yet, when it come to acctually stopping the spread of germs with soap and water they have chosen to negate fixing the issue of using luke warm or even hot water.

10 turn into 16 hrs on a on a Sunday. Very clean establishment. Casino and Bar, cant go wrong with that! Bathrooms were clean. The bar attendant was courteous. Food menu at the bar is Dennys which was decent. Definitely worth the stop.

Stop here around 7pm. The nacho was out of service and when ask the guy was on the phone while talking customer and didnt have any skill of customer service. The manager with 2 name tags was on the phone as well and take customer when he feels like it. From my point of view they have no interest in what they were doing. Got coffee n left.

Nice place to stop and eat. Dennys is pretty good. Customer service is good too. They have a casino here if youre interested in that. But, truck parking lot has quite a few large holes in it. So, if youre getting in here after sunset, drive slowly.

Shower rooms are INSANELY HOT. I mean, sweat bath hot. Quit being so cheap and turn the AC down.

As always in Nevada, the place reeks of cigarettes, which precludes me and other nonsmokers from spending any time inside. But I did duck in to the drivers lounge and was dismayed to realize that the ceiling light reflects onto the TV screen and obscures enough to discourage TV watching. The store is good, the restroom is great, the fuel pumps work. And the extra large parking area ensures even late night arrivals can find some place.

Stopped for a shower and a bite to eat the name on my receipt at dennys was dayam...AMAZING woman tipped her $20 on a 14 dollar bill and im not sorry about it very good service will definitely be back

This is a well stocked store. It is easily seen from the highway. The bathrooms are clean and a good place to clean up for road-worn travelers. It is open 24 hours a day with fare gas prices.

I was here about a month ago. Was given a shower #2, there was no hooks on a wall. All was broken. And i refused to use this shower, notified a manager about the problem. Today a got a shower #2 again. 1 month is not enough to fix the simple thing. I hope a low google rating will help

Wanted to take shower. Handicap one was not available all the doors said vacant. They where all open. We knock on door no answer. The male cashier said to wait until one was ready. Then told me it was turned into storage room. I did not like his attitude towards me. Trying to make feel like a kid. So I left will not be back there.

This was a very clean place and excellent stopping point if youre on a road trip. They had all the typical provisions you would need and the bathrooms looked like they had just been cleaned. The coffee was nice and strong.

Four people in line ahead of me for showers. Fair enough. Its a Sunday evening at six oclock so Im willing to wait, no problem. But then my app tells me Shower # will be assigned momentarily.... Great! So I wait. And wait some more. And some more. After ten minutes of waiting and still no shower number I find the manager and ask if the shower guy has gone on vacation. The answer? Nope. He went to lunch. So.... Nobody gets showers for the next half an hour because one employee went to lunch? Yup. 🤨

Constantly a problem with the toilet. Toilet cleaning takes too long and often, long queues at the mens room

I really liked Flying J Travel Centers...They are well maintained and very CLEAN. I have a RV so we filled up with Gas and Water.. We also dumped our grey water... So convenient.... The staff was very friendly... While on the road it nice to be greated with a friendly smile... Thanks!!!

Fuel shop is ok, dinner at Dennys, waited 40 mins for my bourbon chicken skillet, the chicken breast were over cooked, and hard to cut.Second meal was prepared, waited 25 mins, chicken was tender, but you can tell the fiilets had frozen not fresh.I ordered the same dish at Dennys in Great Falls, MT, loved it perfect.So I expected a similar standard from a chain restaurant.I will never at Dennys at this Ferney, NV, FlyingJ location again, got diarrhea 2 hours later.

The establishment was clean and relaxable. Adequate parking and staff was super!! I stopped in Dennys restaurant inside, I ordered breakfast to go. I was amazed the food was actually good!! Waitresses there were spot on!! Absolutely perfect!! I will recommend this location of Dennys!!

Dennys restaurant and Casino. Otherwise a regular Flying J, restrooms, snacks, coffee soft drinks, ice, truck accessories, and gas and diesels sales. Very cool exterior with frontier town featured.

Love this place! Staff is always nice, prices are fair, bathrooms are clean, the casino pays out at least 50% of the time. Best spot to stop for gas when headed East if not stopping in Reno. Easy in and out freeway onramp very close.

Place was awesome had a vast variety of foods to go, trucker rest area was big, with plenty of spots for overnight parking. The manager was super friendly! It is pretty convenient in getting in and out. Only downside is the location off the exit. Had a casino which was a big plus, the trucker lounge was clean too!

Rude staff

On the way to California with my Brother Tim and his son David. What a memorable journey. The Flying J was simply a rest stop and we were approached by those of the evening. My Brother took the hit while I went into the store.

I dont know whats its like inside as I never go in. But all the fuel pumps and especially Def pumps work and thats saying something for PFJs. Also, the lot across the street is so large I dont think it could ever be filled up.

Dennys was our experience. My food was delicious, my husband food was good too. The bacon wasnt cooked thorough enough, Def was out on pumps and no signs posted. 18 wheelers not easy to maneuver. There wasnt notice on the pumps. Other than that, great experience!!!

This is a nice one. Pretty decent sized casino inside as well as lots of truck park. Really really big over flow lot across the street.

The staff is nice except for Suzanne. She had attitude towards every customer she served before me including me. With that personality she shouldnt be in customer service. She should apply for a prison guard position.

Truck stop amenities, what more can I say. Update: this got posted before I was finished. So appreciative that this truck stop was available. It has all the basic items, the staff is fast and efficient.

There were a lot of people in line with only one, sometimes two cashiers, so we spent much longer there than we expected to. The price for gas was pretty good though. Bathrooms were decent.

This one has great tasting coffee....a lot of places i stop at serve coffee flavored water to us truckers but this one at Fernly Nevada is really good and the Dennys was real decent also....had theBaked salmon and it was really good...Plus a lot of the staff at the entire complex were very nice and helpfulSo all in all i always enjoy my stay here.Sincerely Bill Nelson

Great place to stop for fuel, food, and fun. I do enjoy stopping here as its easy to get on/off of 80. Theres hot food inside, or a sit down restaurant. Lots of pump stations, and it can get busy during peak hours.

Next to flying J travel center in Carlin is a fresh market called Khourys. Love it dude! My wife and I are from NorCal and we got some pretty good markets this one in Carlin is just as good but better prices👍

I’m in a big rig. I pulled in to get air for a low tire on a trailer I just picked up. No signage as to where the air is. So I called. The girl had to ask. She tells me it’s on pump 20. I’m looking at the pumps and there are no numbers. I asked where the pump numbers are. She says on the front, opposite of where we have to pull in. I guess common sense is a rare thing.

I enjoyed stopping in every evening to purchase ... Anything . There was the cutest young lady manager there with the prettiest eyes and best figure Ive ever seen but then she talked and her accent made me not wanna leave. But she was married .

Had to drive from California to Colorado. Stopped at several Flying J travel centers. Always clean bathrooms, gas prices reasonable, friendly staff and I felt safe as a woman traveling alone.

Best gas prices around. The location is super clean and I was greeted at least twice in the first 30 seconds past the front door. Oh, and did I mention that it has the best gas prices in town?

Get a players card and enjoy 20% off your meals at Dennys. Food is always good and the slots actually pay out usually. Took a star off because self service kiosks are down a lot and customer service is usually slow so dont be in a hurry.

Flying J is a great place for cheap gas and friendly employees. The in-casino Dennys isnt the best Dennys Ive been too but its not bad. The store is aways stocked with clean bathrooms and showers, you cant go wrong with a stop here! I have it only 4 stars as the place can be a bit dirty or grungy but not always a problem.

This is my 1st choice to gas up because its close to Walmart. Being disabled I call into the station to request pump service. For this type of service its hit & miss. On one occasion I went inside paid & asked again if someone was available and was told someone would be out. I went out waited, after 10- 15min I made my inside, asked again and waited another 10min. After a few people realized why I was waiting a fellow customer said he would pump the gas for me. Chivalry & helping a stranger in need isnt dead in Fernley Nevada. On another occasion the person who came out could not open the locking gas cap, which has simple detailed instructions right on it. I left and went to the other Pilot across town, gas cap off first try! My most recent visit was a quick 5 wait, cap off, gas pumped, receipt given to me, the guy leaves but forgot to put the gas cap back on😣...I had to call in again. So its seriously hit & miss with customer service beyond the cash register.

Gas pumps had issues today with credit/debit card payment reader which caused a bit of a back up. The team stepped up the best of their ability to make the best of the situation until the technician can come to fix the credit card readers on the gas pumps. Great job.

This place is always so clean and such a friendly staff. Truckers usually get treated badly at truck stops I know first hand, I’ve always been treated respectfully here in Fernley at the J.

Love this place. Got the Cinnabon every time I’m in the area, I try to stop there to get some food and drinks. And gas prices seem pretty fair

Fairly clean showers. Fuel is high. Parking lot is screwy. If you dont go through the fuel island before going into the attached lot youre going to have a hard time getting out. The people are nice though.

Nice place to park to shop at walmart. Their system was down and could not answer the most basic questions. Was rude when asking how to get in line for a shower. Someone should teach the staff to be helpful and cordial. Not rude!

The thing that drives me crazy about this place is the loooong wait for a shower. I and everyone else have schedules to meet and I cant wait an HOUR each time Im here waiting . Hey manager how about getting your staff hopping thanx. Everything else is really good here especially the huge parking lot across the street.

Great gas stop, full service gas station with casino and showers and everything. Tons of food here too, probably 4 times as much stuff as a normal gas station. Almost knocking on the door of a very small grocery store. They also always seem to have the cheapest gas in town, so thats a plus.

Every time Ive been here Ive had great customer service, cheap gas and clean bathrooms. What else could a person ask for? Well.. if you did want more, theyve probably got that as well. Theres a Dennys, a place that sells Cinnabon, a thing that has neat little glass (I think) things on sale, a bar, casino and showers (that I assume for the truckers only) with a waiting room to use the showers. There a lot across from the place for truckers to park as well.

The J is good...nice, helpful employees. Casino was fun. Dennys was a nightmare. Waitress couldnt get order correct, Left us without drink, and slammed our plates down. Food wasnt prepared as ordered. Would not recommend.

This place has everything you need. Fresh made cinnamon rolls, snacks, cold drinks, hot drinks, beautiful glass designs, showers, restaurant, bathroom, and caaino. With nice, friendly staff. Only real downside is that this place can get really busy.

I always LOVE Flying J! From gas to gum to novelties, they have it all. Never encountered an employee in any of their locations that was less than very happy to see every customer.
