I purchased a new 2021 F-150 Lariat with several upgrades. On the lot I was told it was ready for Ford’s self-driving, but about a week later after reading, I found out it was not and could not be made to be after the fact. After some round and round with the salesperson, I was finally handed over to the sales manager. I expected for him to clearly present my options and lean into making this right. However, the only option he gave me was for me to place an order for a 2022 and take deliver at some unknown date and with some unknown financing. I also purchased on the Z plan and was told that I “maybe” could still use it on the 2022. After suggesting a dealer trade, I was told I’d have to search myself because dealers “hide” their inventory. When I did locate several options in adjacent states, I was met with “we left a voicemail” as the best effort. In the end I was left with two viable options. Order a 2022 and trade in my 2021, or just deal with not having this feature. I ultimately opted for the latter as losing money on my trade in just made no sense and there was uncertainty about promotional financing and being able to use my Z plan again. They made an attempt to make things right by paying for my bed liner and tint, but ultimately I’m left soured on the whole experience, this dealer, and the GSM.

I have to say I have had the best experience with Don Hinds. I ordered a bronco 1.3 months ago. Not even thinking I would have problems with my vehicle. It was a Dodge and only had 120,000 miles on it. The transmission went out a couple weeks before my Bronco was to be built. I called thinking maybe they could sell me a vehicle and then take it back as trade in. Nope they offered me a courtesy vehicle. I get to use it till my Bronco comes in AND it is being built early. Go up their and ask for Duane. He is the one that has helped me so much with this situation.

We purchased a 2020 Mustang GT from Rylan. We are extremely pleased with the customer service he provided. We spoke on the phone, through email and text. We really enjoyed the personalized video email from Rylan introducing himself and also doing a walk around of the Mustang. We are 7 hours away in Northern Michigan so this video was priceless. We felt very comfortable driving all that way, not worried about the condition of the vehicle. This was one of the most pleasurable car buying experiences we have had, and we have had more than our fair share!
I was shopping for a used Ford Flex for my family. I was contacted via text by Michael Nelms from Don Hinds Ford in Fishers. Looks like this place does a great job at selling vehicles, make that money and run. Well I bought a vehicle that needed work, I have it on paper that they will do the work to the car... I have waited 6 weeks and nothing has been done. I have gotten a couple random returned calls from the sales manager saying he will get me on the schedule, but then two weeks will go by and I wont hear a thing... If you do buy a vehicle here, make sure they dont promise a fix, it wont happen...The salesman was also spraying some kind of spray on my car that I noticed him doing after financing. This spray whatever it was, it was in a fill your own spray bottle with no label. It dried and sun baked into some of the chrome trim and onto my windshield... It is impossible to get it off. All of this has been told to the sales manager and they dont even ask to see it... If thats the support you want go buy! 😑
Ask for Isaiah, he is the best! He is amazing and makes the process really smooth. He went above and beyond for me and I did not feel pressured at any time. He tries to help as much as possible. I am very happy with my new vehicle, and will definitely be stopping by to see Isaiah again!

Sales people were good but finance people were very dishonest. I bought a brand new truck and an extended warranty package almost 3 thousand dollars. The finance manager says my truck will BE COMPLETELY TAKEN CARE OF UNTIL 100,000 miles. 50k miles went by and the service manager says my purchase warranty package is ALL FKN USED UP. I had to pay for my services that I was promised that my extended warranty package will cover. My trucks had several problems and all they do is look at it and charge me $100.00 every time and did not make any repair. Service manager says I dont know what happened to it promise to look into it and contact me but never ever did. Very dishonest group of people. Piece of advice, dont trust these people, buy somewhere else.Edited. After the review, I was promptly contacted by the service manager and was offered to make things right. I do appreciate the efforts to right the wrongs but I have yet to visit the service center since. I give higher star for professionalism and the willingness to do the right things for their customers.

I am working with Mike Nelms on a deal. They are actually buying a vehicle from me only. Mike has been very professional and nice during this process even with it turning into a nightmare. I bought a new 2017 F150 in December 2017 from Don Hinds Ford in Fishers, IN. On 12/27/18, with 28,167 miles on the truck, I took it back to Don Hinds due to Loud engine rattle upon cold start which sounds like a diesel engine starting . The dealership had it for 14 days, then advised It was normal start-up sounds, and did nothing.I took it back to Don Hinds on 5/6/2019 with 35,728 miles for again, Loud engine rattle upon cold start. The dealership had it for 3 days, then advised they Found bank 1 phasers erratic. Will need to replace both bank 1 phasers. After 11 additional days, they finished repairs.I took it back to Don Hinds on 6/24/2019 with 38,977 miles for again, Loud engine rattle upon cold start. The dealership had it for 4 days, then advised, Found bank 2 intake and exhaust VCT phasers erratic. Will need to replace all left-hand VCT units and parts. After 12 additional days, they finished repairs.I took it back to Don Hinds on 6/11/20 with 59,332 miles for again, Loud, prolonged, engine rattle upon cold start, which is getting worse. They had it 2 days, then advised, Found both bank 1 and bank 2 VCT phasers erratic. Must remove and replace both banks, per TSB-20-2191. After 10 additional days, they finished repairs.I took it back to Don Hinds on 7/27/20 with 65,044 miles for, Will not shift out of 3rd gear. High RPMs. Long crank to start. No acceleration at all. They had it 1 day, then advised, During 6/11/20 VCT phaser replacement, the serviceman inadvertently over-torqued a bolt on the high pressure fuel pump, causing the fuel pump to fail. After an additional 3 days, they finished repairs.I took it back to Don Hinds on 8/23/21 with 91,558 miles for again, Loud, prolonged, engine rattle upon cold start. The Service Department Manager informed me that ... this was a well-known, well-documented, F150 problem, and that he had 2 F150s in the shop at that time with the same condition. He said due to the mileage, Id have to pay $800 to get it repaired. I protested that Id had it in their shop 5 times already, at an average of every 12,566 miles, for a total of 46 days, FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. He said the $800 was the cost to repair, and said I could contact Ford Customer Service to appeal. I contacted the Ford Customer Service Center, and they informed me that the dealership establishes the repair cost, and the Customer Service Center is powerless to counter the Dealership agreement. I felt like I had been lied to, and I was chasing my tail. Don Hinds had it for 22 days while repairs were being made. With the 8/23/21 repair, Ive had my F150 at Don Hinds a total 68 days since December, 2017 to fix THE SAME PROBLEM.I do not believe it was just or fair to pay $800 for a well-known, well-documented, F150 problem, which Ive struggled with every 12,566 miles since the date of purchase. Im angry that Don Hinds Service Department Manager claimed I could appeal their repair cost to the Ford Customer Service representative, when I could not. At this point I will strongly discourage anyone from purchasing a vehicle from Don Hinds Ford, or taking a vehicle to their dealership for repairs.

Update. The fixed AC is not working again. Service dept is the worst, I have ever experienced in every way imaginable. The AC in our new Expedition, (which we bought there from Josh Kerns in sales who is wonderful) basically failed. The car was in 5 separate occasions, each time they told us it was fixed, each time it failed again within days. Its the lying that bothers me. If you cant fix it say so. They also made a few poorly thought out attempts to lay blame on us. They left the car sitting for days without working on it. They claimed we didnt have appointments, when we did. Eventually a part was ordered from Ford and so far it has been working. However, the car was returned to us with a warped dash and damaged interior, plus scratches. There was also a recall on the powertrain, which I asked them to fix along with oil change and tire balancing. According to my app and the fact that no paperwork was filled out to indicate that this work was done in the service record, I can only assume that they just didnt bother, despite the fact that they knew I was going on a long road trip. Clearly they do not care about their customers safety. Finance and warranty are too pushy also and only want to sell you their products, irregardless of whether or not its the best option. I do not like leaving negative reviews but I feel that they need to sort out their service dept. I am not the only one getting such poor service, as other reviewers clearly had the same experience.

Randy Walker was a delight to talk to and explained everything so I was able to comprehend and seemed to have my best interest at heart. All in all this is a wonderful place with great people!
I recently purchased a 2019 Ford F250 from Don Hinds Ford and I would have to say that it was the best vehicle experience I have had. I was purchasing from out of state which makes it even more difficult. Dan Dickey was more than helpful and accommodating going as far as to do a Facetime call with me as he went over every inch of the vehicle. Dan was very responsive to our questions and honest in his answers. I would say that within 3 hours of us contacting Dan, we closed on the deal and I was booking a flight out there to drive it home. Simple, honest and great pricing on vehicles. I wish we had them out here in Colorado as they would have my business. I would highly recommend them to ANYONE shopping for a vehicle whether new or used!!!!

I have been extremely disappointed with the service department at Don Hines Ford at 37 and 126th. It is nearly impossible to speak to someone. I have called four or five times and instead of putting me through to a voicemail someone in the service department picks up and hangs up.My main frustration is that I requested and paid for an oil change to be completed while having a few service recalls from the manufacture completed.I paid for the oil change but they did not actually change the oil!I only came here because of the manufactures recall. I plan to try and go back and have them rectify the oil change and that will be my last experience with Don Hines.
When I contacted Don Hinds Ford regarding a used vehicle for sale, I was matched with Travis Coons. As an out of state buyer, it can be difficult to get details on a vehicle without putting your hand on it. Travis recorded a video of the vehicle I was interested in, describing the interior, exterior and even problem areas that may have been a concern to me. Although I did not purchase said vehicle, I greatly appreciate the effort put forth to achieve buyer satisfaction. Keep up the good work.

Very disappointed in service techs. I brought my truck in last week to service the AdvanceTrac - they were unable to figure out the problem. Now my truck has the ABS system going off in the middle of driving (locks steering AND auto-applies brakes in the middle of the road) and I need to pay to have it towed. Willing to bet every dollar I have that these techs wont put a scanner on or be able to diagnose it without replacing the entire steering system, drivetrain, etc. I used to enjoy coming here - service techs are not as helpful as they used to be. AND I figured that if I paid you already to diagnose an issue (you couldnt diagnose your proprietary software) MAYBE you would have a better answer than We are booked for the next week and a half. So not only did you charge me for not doing anything, you also are telling me that you cant look at it for another 10 days? I will not be going here again.

Unfortunately, my experience was horrible. I brought in my 2017 escape (~36,000 miles) on May 27, 2021 due to coolant intrusion in the engine which is a known defect. The car sat for 4 weeks+ before it could be worked on. Ford refused to offer a loaner or rental. Once the engine is fixed, the front end is making noise which was not occurring before bringing in the car. While showing the noise to the technician, the power steering fails. Ford refused to acknowledged that they caused the issues calling it unfortunate timing. Ford offered to do the repair (after significant push back) for parts only at ~$1500. Once that repair was complete, they find issues with ball joint requiring another $500 in repair fees. Overall feels like a ransom that I had to pay to get back my car which did not have these issues when brought in. As of today (July 8) - still waiting for repairs to be complete. I have been a loyal Ford customer for 20+ years, and received zero consideration for my loyalty.After posting this review, I was contacted by Don Hinds and was asked to contact Marq Boggs. Multiple business days have passed with no follow up from Marq.As of July 20, 2021 - Still no follow up from Don Hinds.

Ive had 2 fords in the past. One was a 2012 ford fusion and the other was a 2009 ford flex loved both of them till my flex died on me. I was checking out cars online on cargurus and i was stuck between 3 different vehicle i went to Don Hinds Ford spoke with Ralph and he helped me out so much. We test drove a 2020 Ford Escape Se and he explained everything so well. All of the buttons and different features. When it came time to when i decided on what i wanted which was the Escape SE he did everything he could to get me into this vehicle. I worked with Jessica Spillman on my purchase and I wanna say these people impressed me so much. No dealer that I visited took the time to make the purchase process so easy. They made me feel like a friend and not just another customer. My situation was also less than ideal, however I cannot express how happy I am with my new car, and the service I received. Don Hinds Ford Employees are real genuine people, who are out to help you find the vehicle that best suits your needs (And not theirs!). The car even had a minor issue with a Engine Light the day after the car was purchased, which was quickly rectified. Most places could have cared less.I went to Don Hinds for a reason, because they have a good reputation.Im definitely glad it was just my overreaction to a misunderstanding on my part, because they did everything 100% correct.I can definitely admit when I am wrong, and I was 100% WRONG.Honestly, theyd be the only dealership i would go to for repairs just because they were so quick to fix MY issue.They also had a new key made for me, they were easily between $60-$110 cheaper than any other ford dealership. Which shows just how much more fair Don Hinds actually is.

Best service department i have encountered
They charged me for something that I didnt ask for and they completed it without telling me first. The second service that they did inform me of I knew they overpriced, so I refused that one. I only gave them a 1 star for completed one of the services that I actually asked them to complete in a timely manner. I went to another auto shop about 5 miles down and paid close to $100 less on the service that I was overpriced for. I was later called and they did refund me the amount of money for the service that I never asked for or knew that I was serviced and then paid for. Therefore, I changed/ edited my star range to 2 star for the effort.

One of the worst car shopping experiences I’ve had. My wife and I were looking to order a new Bronco Sport since her current lease is almost up and we were told it would take a few months to get one. After shopping their website, we were contacted by a sales associate who assured us he could find us the type of deal we were looking for. The sales representative was very nice and encouraged us to go online and build a Bronco Sport with the features we were looking for. This presumably would also give us an estimated price. We were able to build the one she wanted at the price we were looking for. When we took this into the dealership, we were directed to speak with a “Bronco Sport Specialist”(whatever that means). That’s when the bait and switch began. He told us there was no way we were able to lease the car for the price we were given. He suggested we purchase the car instead for about $100 more a month than the estimated lease payment. When we asked why we couldn’t lease the car, we were given the run around. I asked him for an exact quote on a lease with the same terms we input online. All of a sudden the “system went down” and we were told they would have to get back to us. The manager came out and we explained to him what we were looking for and he assured us that he believed he would be able to get us somewhere close to what we came up with online. To our disappointment, the sales rep called the next day with a quote no where near what was give online. We understand that there are taxes and fees involved as well and took those into consideration before we walked into the dealership. This was way beyond that. If they can’t sell a car for the price on their own website what’s the point? Why ask your customers to go online and get pricing if there’s no way you can sell for that price? We weren’t even asking for any type of special pricing or deal since we knew the Bronco Sport was in high demand to begin with. Needless to say my wife and I decided to go with a different dealership.

I was working with the parts department to order a cluster for my truck and they sent the wrong cluster. I went back in with the part and they told me they made a mistake and went on to re order. That was the wrong one again. Then the manager calls me and tells me that it is costing them a lot to send these wrong parts back so I asked for the full vin number that they were ordering under and it was a completely different vehicle. He then went on to tell me he will refund the money and that they do not want to order the part for me. Horrible service!!!!!
I bought a 2017 Ford escape from this dealership in Fishers back in July and here we are today they overcharged me on my warranty by $1000 and when my car blew a fuse 3 times and they told me it wasn’t their problem anymore…I will never go back to them for any type of service and I most definitely don’t recommend buying a vehicle from them

I had my Explorer in for a recall. I called right before drop off and asked if they could also do an oil change, which they did. I appreciated them accommodating my request. I received a call from my representative and he gave me the recommended maintenance suggestions. I was very disappointed with what I was told. I was told my windshield wipers were streaking and needed to be replaced and that my battery was bad and needed replaced as well. I told the rep that I had just replaced my wipers 2 months ago and to wipe them off. (The wipers ended up being just fine. No streaks.) I also told him the battery is a year and a half old and that it should be fine. He suggested I get it checked out with the store that we bought it from. So, I had the battery checked out where I purchased it and it is TOTALLY fine. Im very disappointed with the attempt to upsell me with lies. Ive gone to Don Hinds for many years. Its sad that they are resorting to trying to trick someone into something they do not need. Im questioning my loyalty to this location. 😡

Was going to buy a Ford Raptor from this dealership out of state. Spoke to multiple people on the phone and set up a call time appointment. Once I had called they did not know the where abouts of the vehicle or if it was available. Without getting back to me, and having to call back again they told me that it and been sold while still posted on all of their websites. Unreliable and do not buy from them especially if you are out of state. The goal is to not take vehicles off the websites listed so that when you call and ask for availability they try and sell you something else...

I inquired about purchasing a leftover 2020 Roush Stage 3 Mustang for which I was given a pretty fair price. I didn’t need to trade in my vehicle but I wanted to see if it was worth it. I have a 2019 Roush Stage 3 Mustang in immaculate shape with only 10,200 miles. Roush actually has a Black Book Valuation Tool on their website that gives Roush vehicles a Rough Retail Value up to Extremely Clean. The range was $64,600 through $75,600. I get a extremely insulting offer of $52,000 from the salesman which is absolutely ludicrous especially given the extreme used vehicle market. I would expect a Roush Authorized Dealer to be more professional than that and actually know what these cars sell for. I am a out of state buyer and would’ve been willing to travel, but I will pick up a 2021 Roush Stage 3 locally for $2900 more than the 2020 leftover was and keep my 19 RS3 and buy it outright. Good luck unloading this leftover niche vehicle.
