6:10 AM really is the best time to go to Home Depot. Seems like there’s an associate in almost every aisle. I wonder where they all go in the afternoon? I did have a couple of specific items I was on the hunt for and received about the same experience is when people are queued up From the associates.
If you want to save your time and money just go to Lowe’s. I’m never shopping at Home Depot again, your policies our garbage and make shopping with you guys a lot more complicated. Liz has never given me any trouble .
Visited Home Depot to see a stove and refrigerator that we wanted to purchase online.I was assisted by a very personable young man named Oliver in appliances, he was very kind and patient, showing me the items I was asking to see, answering all my questions, and if he didn’t have the answer he did asked other associates for guidance .I was very content with the items and the kind associate, that we bought the Stove and refrigerator, and are now in our kitchen….Thank you 🙏
For 20 minutes I stood in an isle with a cart no employee even offered or ask to help me. I have only 1 arm but I was able to take 4. 2x8 x 12 4 racks high by myself with one arm. I cant imagine avoiding helping people, thats why I was there
Shopping for paint. Great selection of colors. Prices were competitive. Have used Behr paint in the past with excellent results.
Went in to get N95 masks. They had them. Thanks to allHome Depot is a fun place to shop.

DO THEY THINK WE RE ALL THIEVES ? I went to buy some Smart Home light Switches and there were only one in the shelf which was enclosed in a security cable. I checked their website and it shows 35 available in that store but they were showing only one in the shelf. Asked an employee to get us 6 of those Switches and the guy went to ask another guy and the another guy went to get ladder and the whole drama took too long. We left and went to a near by LOWES store.We dont wanna go to this Home Depot store anymore. They really think their customers are thieves.
UPDATE. After failing to repair the awful install, this Home Depot is trying to walk away from the problem. There are still terrible seams in our carpet! The next step will be the BBB.DO NOT buy carpet from the Folsom Home Depot. We purchased Carpet for install 3 months ago. The very next day, we noticed very visible seams throughout the job. They tried to tell us that the seam would fade after a few weeks. They have not. There is an enormous seam through our bonus room. The Folsom Home Depot is now saying there is nothing wrong with the install or the carpet. They refuse to stand by their service. Go to Lowes or another carpet company.
We always find everything we need here to complete our home projects. Prefer HD over Lowe’s.I visited the garden depot recently and all the spring flowers look amazing. Picked up some roses and potting soil. Can’t wait to plant them.Also bought a new bathroom fan. They had many choices and I was able to find the perfect one.

The old blonde haired guy working the paint counter was so just now so incredibly rude. (Didnt have a name tag)His facial expression, demeanor, manors and the manner in which he spoke to me was completely uncalled for. Was just asking to match some paint. He could have just told me the machine was down. He maybe was having a bad but that wasnt necessary. He was leaning on tje counter picking paint off his nails. But treated me like I was ik interrupting his tasks. Dont worry Lowes look care of me.
We went to get some tools which showed 23 available in their website. The store employee could not find more than one. And an electrical switch which cost only 50 bucks had a black security thing tied to it... looked like they d make a loud screaming noise if touched. So we didnt even bothered to buy it. Instead went to Lowes, 5 minutes from Home Depot.

For some reason this location wont let you purchase gift cards at the self checkout like other locations. But dont worry they have the gift cards hanging on the self checkout registers????????
My only beef, dont segregate your employees to specific departments. If I see an orange vest in an isle and ask them do you by chance know where I can find X item? And get a response of I dont work in that department or youll have to ask the front desk OR I dont think we carry that

2 different stores. Inside is great. Garden must be where they put the rude, incompetent employees. If the outdoor employees don’t feel like working and providing service then please quit.
Experience at this store is fine; however, their over the phone customer service is terrible. Unfortunately I have had to call the store a couple of times for some replacement parts and every time I call I’m transferred at least five times. Also, I am on hold for an average 75 minutes before the call is disconnected from their end. This is very annoying.

The wood quality at this establishment is not satisfactory. The pine I bought was to soft. I wanted some good maple wood but yet could not prevail. The pine wood was so soft, my morning wood was harder. I expect the wood to be as hard as hard as netherite. It isn’t so please fix this. I don’t actually do any woodworking or construction but I didn’t like the wood. But walked in and found the wood smell absolutely disgusting. I cant express my dissatisfaction with this place.

Home Depot is the place for all your moving supply needs! Nobody has better prices and they keep everything in stock. I had no trouble getting everything I needed for our move (large boxes, giant bubble wrap, dish protector sleeves. And as a bonus, I even bought beautiful doormats for our new home!

Big box stores known for lack of help and or finding employees to help. Well, this time was different. As I struggled to get through to the store from the curbside pickup lot an employee came up to my vehicle and assisted me with my order. I felt bad because I wish I had something to tip him with. The guy working in plumbing today (which I could remember his name!!) was SO incredibly helpful. I have been to 3 Home Depot’s with the same project and this is my first success getting the parts I need. He listened to what I needed for my odd drain project for an outdoor sink and helped me to creatively find a solution!
Had a great experience renting a truck at Home Depot. Who knew they even had trucks for rent. My only complaints were they said the truck was sanitized but it clearly was not. And when I went to return the truck noone was at the counter so it ended up adding more time to my rental. Overall, a good experience and I will rent from them again.
The managers are knowledgeable but some employees are hard to work with and stubbornly wrong especially when you have husky tools that need replacing. Everything we were looking for in flooring was out of stock and nothing was organized

Today was a easy visit because I got there at 8am. I needed a few random things but also to get a key made so i needed to find help. Normally when I have a situation where I may need finding help or have questions I prefer to go to Lowes because they simply have more staff available on a regular basis. I say this with years of visiting both stores on a regular basis. Fortunately I have both options close but Home Depot is the closest so for that it gets most of my business.

It appears that the best time to visit this store is in the morning. Every visit I have experienced in the afternoon has been met with poor customer service and impatient behavior. This visit to Home Depot was outstanding. The employees were patient, patient, very knowledgeable and looking to help someone. It appears as if the management staff overstaffs the morning shift & puts their best employees on in the morning. In the afternoon they appear to be short staffed and over worked.

Denied a cash return YET AGAIN, even after getting the better business people involved, it took so long I couldnt find the receipt anymore, the better business people made retail equation give me until January 2nd to get my return, even specifically stated without a receipt(Although I want that reprimanded stating I had the receipt originally, and have told the better business people that as I HAD a receipt the first time I tried to return the item) but nonetheless the current solution gave me a number for what was going on, and since it was linked to my RAR an ID should have been enough for me to get my money back, but no, I HAD to take store credit apparently even though I specifically had something saying this 1 time was ok to return for cash AND I could do so without the receipt(again I want it changed to state I originally had the receipt the first time). Either way poorly run, whats the point of offering a solution if the bussiness involved refuses to uphold their end of the bargain. Straight up dishonest, they solution which lied and said I didnt have a receipt originally was literally just something for the public to see. Dishonest af these guys literally stand for nothing they preach about.

Bought propane refill. Walking to car to get empty tank and HD EE calls out to me, I walk back, advised out of propane. Offered to pick up tomorrow, told not sure they can do that and come to customer service. Followrd EE past line and EE realuzed and told me to get in the line....for a refind on the tank of propane I was sold. 🙄 waited and got newbie...seasonal worker that neefed help.... ugh.... Friend purchasing 40ft aluminum ladder wasnt a problem. Of course, Home Depot had a supply of them. It was getting the beast home that was the challenge. But got it to my friends house without a mishap.

Although I am a frequent of home depot, Its customer service and online / store pickup / curbside pickup needs a little TLC. Ordered 9 simple items at 11 am and it is 5 pm and still no order. 🙄
The Home Depot in Folsom has really diminished in their customer service. They have quite a few associates that seemed bothered if you ask for help, or they simply dont have the knowledge. Worst of all, we recently rented a mini skidsteer and the rubber track broke within an hour of use. We had to bring it back in immediately to get a refund (we were advised), which stopped work at our house for hours. Then had to wait 45 mins for a manager to approve full refund. Unbelievable!! No credit or anything for wasting our time. From what the employee told us that helped us, HD does not fix their equipment until it breaks, not taking preventative measures, like maintaining their equipment for their customers. I have always liked HD, but it seems there are major issues at this location. We will go to Lowes or Greenback Rentals for our future needs. The Folsom Home Depot needs to conduct a customer survey and are in need of management overhaul!!

The thing I like about Home Depot is that they always have what I need or at least something like it. Also, the employees are always straight up with you. maybe it is because they generally hire people with construction experience. I just love the no nonsense attitude of the staff at this place. Dont get me wrong the people skills are definitely there with the employees, but they dont hesitate to tell you when whatever crazy plan you hatched to jury rig something wont work.
