Purchasing a mattress at Matthews was beyond easy! I had not purchased a mattress in over 12 years. I quickly described what type of mattress I was looking for and it did not take Jason long to point me in the right direction of exactly what I was looking for! In fact I ended up purchasing the first mattress that he pointed me to. The buying process was quick and easy, I went in on a Sunday and had my mattress delivered on Monday! He also gave gave me a great deal. Definitely feels good to help out a family owned business during Covid, and I would highly recommend that if you want the same outstanding service you do the same!

James Eberhardt (store manager) was very help full, he was able to help he pick out the bed that was perfect for my grandson. He was very knowledgeable and took the size and quality I wanted with the small window I had for delivery and made it happen.I also have to mention their delivery service. I had a situation where my son and his family were back east and I was taking care of there dogs. One of the dogs was very sick and the vet was booked until the following week. I got a call the vet said they had just had a cancellation if I could get there in 20 minutes. The bed was due to be delivered I call the delivery truck told them my situation they said they could deliver it the next day or it would be 16 minutes with less than 5 minutes for delivery and pick up of the old bed. They were great set it up and took the old bed and I made it to vet. They were wonderfulQuaility Bed and a great Price with Great Service.Thank you so much for everythingSandy

I bought a bed from here, the Folsom store, it was my first time ever buying one and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy Jason (i think that was his name) made it. He was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable on mattresses and seems to really care about wanting me to get exactly what I wanted. He encouraged me to take all the time I needed, expressing to me the importance of making sure Im getting what I like and really want! Great place, would absolutely recommend!

When they delivered it was a quick setup. The bad review is for service. I had an 11-3p window and was not called to confirm then when I called the first time, it was a substitute n he didn’t have a clue n needed to “catchup”. So then he said they’ll be there tomorrow. Delivery day: no phone call so I call at 305p to see where they are and this guy says I’ll have to call u back. Then calls @315p and says they’re running late cuz they’re in Roseville and should be there in 45min. They finally call 10min later telling me they’re late..duh..so they get here at 5p and set up the bed frame. They go get my box spring and they don’t have it. They have split box springs which I don’t want so they leave those for me to use (in plastic nit to be removed so they can return to warehouse)! Then they say they’ll talk to warehouse when they get back and Matthews mattresses will call me. No phone call so I call next morning and ask about it and THIS guy says uh I’ll have to look into it cuz no one left me any notes and I’ve been gone. So he calls back 2hrs later and says it should be delivered Friday. Original delivery was Wednesday. I’m upset. I got a great deal from salesperson, but they need to take some pride in their work and make sure if there’s a delivery on Wednesday that everything promised will be in the truck! Common courtesy too! Call me if ur running late!! My time is important!

My husband and I set out on Saturday morning to shop for a king mattress (our first in about 20 years...yikes). We had three mattress stores on our list, and planned to negotiate the best deal we could (we had been told shopping for a mattress can be a bit like shopping for a car). We went to Matthews Mattress first, and I emphasized to my husband as we walked in that we were NOT going to be buying from this store until we had made our way through all three stores. Chris was the salesperson that day, and rather than pounce when we walked in, I noticed that he merely nodded and smiled our way and continued to professionally wrap up a sale with another customer. Even after that customer left, he still gave us our space, and actually didnt approach us until we asked a specific question. He very helpfully educated us about the various mattress options, never once pushing us toward the high-end row of mattresses. Never pushed us about anything, actually. Within a matter of minutes, we had picked our mattress, and in my head, I had decided what I thought a reasonable offer would be. Before I could even speak, Chris made that offer to US. Wow. Needless to say, we didnt even bother to hit the other stores we had planned on visiting. Delivered same day. It was such a positive experience that we turned around two days later and bought two more mattresses. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Jason was an excellent host! We came in to look at several specific brand models...but he ended up having us try everything comparable in all brands. We ended up really liking the feel and warranty of the Matthews Michelle (20 year 3/4 indent). He wrapped up the deal by giving us a great deal on an adjustable base. Was out the door cheaper than what I configured online and with a superior product (in my opinion). It really helps to lay on beds before you buy and Im happy to have stopped in. This was our third store (other big store chains) and the best for getting a good deal. Others didnt seem interested other than their silly sales that moved money off a marked up product (that I could get cheaper online). Full white-glove delivery service with removal included. Great experience.

The stores super clean and easy to shop. Beds are well organized (soft-hard, traditional vs all foam,...) Jordan is the store mgr. and was patient, courteous and knowledgeable. We took our time shopping and found a great Mathews mattress at a great price. Check this store out - its a good one!

Just purchased a new mattress after 22 years from Jason at the Folsom store - the experience was honestly quite fabulous considering all factors involved in selecting a new mattress. I would HIGHLY recommend Matthews for not only the amazing customer service (and knowledge of this store manager), but the selection and price definitely out shined many other local retailers. Also loved the fact that these are made in CA and the delivery time was outstanding!

This location is fairly new, layout of the store was to the tea! Theyve got all kinds of beds ranging from plushy pillow tops to firmer beds to amazing Tempurpedics!!!Jason was of amazing assistance! We tried beds from soft to hard and finally found THE ONE! We purchased the Matthews Mattress line called the Kendall and it is just perfect! The quality of the bed was made to perfection! We got to test out the coils from the store brand itself and the ones used in other beds, we were taught how a bed should feel depending on how you sleep, we tested out over 10 mattresses, and so much more. We got a very detailed and wonderful learning experience from Jason and the customer service couldnt have been better! We drove from West Sacramento just to go to this location because of the customer service reviews! Jason was super friendly and totally let us get comfortable on each bed, though we took a while to choose what we wanted, he was patient and his knowledge of mattresses was impeccable.The delivery guys...(sorry we didnt get names!) were pretty awesome... they came, were super nice and they worked like robots and it was so quick! They were even nice enough to disassemble my old bed frame in a jiffy! I was amazed...they knew exactly what they were doing.Jason + The Delivery Guys + Matthews Mattress = The best quality beds and customer service you can get. I recommend that you all visit this location for your perfect bed!

We came in just to compare mattresses because we were getting a replacement under warranty from Temperpitic. The very nice man that helped us, pointed out that the bed they were giving us was the entry level bed (cheapest model). He showed us the difference between what we had and 15 years of improvements that had been made. Then he was able to give us a great deal that included the amount the warranty was taking off on a newer style mattress. We still get the replacement from the factory which is going into our gest bedroom. I now have the best bed of my life and get the best sleep I have ever had. If you are looking for a new bed, consider going to Matthews Mattress in Folsom if you want to learn about the differences between beds and get the best prices as well.

Jason was absolutely amazing!!! I had purchased my first adult mattress after college in 2012 from the Roseville location. Now, my fiancé and I were ready for a bigger bed but I didn’t want to change my mattress. So I figured let’s start where I got my last one (only at the new Folsom location)! Jason pointed us to the exact match and we were in love!!! He hooked us up with everything we need to start our new marriage off right!!
