I have been frequenting Reset since its first day open, and I absolutely love it. From the incredible ambiance to friendly staff to amazing drinks, you cannot go wrong with Reset!I work nearby and stop in a few days a week. The staff know my name and know my order and are so kind. They even made my favorite pastry one day because I mentioned that I missed it earlier in the week. Seriously amazing! Whenever I offer to buy coffee for my coworkers, they first make sure I am going to Reset (of course), because it changes their order. The specialty drinks are so superior to the standard, everyone goes all out. Try a seasonal drink, your favorite coffee, hot chocolate, or lemonade. Its all reeeeeally good. I highly recommend the lavender lemonade!My favorite pastry is the brown sugar scone. Its amazing! The morning cookie is a daily special - be sure to try it sometime. Mimosas are fantastic. I absolutely love their coffee. I even bought beans and extra cookies to take on a camping trip! At at the holidays, they offer an awesome selection of gifts. From candles to mini charcuterie boards to the most amazing chocolate espresso ever, you will love your purchase.This is an amazing destination to catch up with some friends, or hang out with your laptop or favorite book. If what youre looking for is super cheap and fast mediocre coffee, go drive thru somewhere else. This place is delicious, an experience, something special to be enjoyed.

This place used to have superb servers. They would bring you your order to your table. Now they just call out your order to pick up. I have been away for months and I have not seen the previous servers. The bakery nearby -Karen’s-has really nice servers, excellent service and better coffee. I have given healthy tips at Reset in the past. No more. Follow up to the owner’s response since I can’t reply directly. : The owner’s response to me below is troubling. Either they are accusing me of lying about my experience or they are out of touch with what is happening in their own place. We were the only indoor customer. There are three servers who didn’t look busy. In retrospect I believe servers were actually carrying food to outdoor customers. In the earlier months of this year when they were open they brought our orders to us at our table. So I can infer based on the owner’s response that what they were doing was outside of policy and they were going beyond the call of duty. And as I said they got good tips. All I want is a return to the good service. Clearly sir or madam you could do it before. Why not now? And yes, servers standing around with is a one star for me when they make me get my own stuff. You could have just apologized for my experience. Instead you got defensive and suggested I was lying.

Absolutely love Reset - whether its a morning work spot, or an evening happy hour this place has it all. The flatbreads are AMAZING, and the people that work there are so accommodating and kind. Plus - you cant beat a focus on supporting local! For everyone in the Folsom and Sacramento areas, check this place out. Such a great location for enjoying old Folsom.

Coffee the second best in town but service... I remember better days there. I was gone for 2 months, crew changed from a great greeting, carrying, bringing your order to the table to an official, cold not bringing your order to the table. Wait, they bring if you sit outside but if you sit inside they just yell “double latteeeeee”Well still requesting tipping before service, just to make coffee? That’s their job, isn’t it?! No more tip from me

A great place to stop and relax with great coffee and local beer. They have yummy pastries and other eats. The inside is warm and welcoming but the place I like to sit is outside enjoying Sutter Street. My new favorite place. 😍

Reset is my go to happy place on Sutter Street in Historic Folsom for my morning mocha and assorted menu items to enjoy while visiting with friendly passerbys and their canine companions. Occasionally Winnie, Sutter Streets own little porker wanders by.John Voelz and his family have created a wonderful compliment to the home town feel of Old Folsom. Their reset food and beverage menu continues to be enjoyed into the evening. Having a passion for music, Reset provides a place for local musicians to share their craft and provide enjoyment for those that appreciate live music. A big endorsement for Reset!

What you should get when you spend $30 for 2 glasses of wine? Ambiance, quality customer service (not impeccable or excellent, but quality) and a relatively short wait time to get your drinks. NOT snobbery and curtness or a 15 minute wait to get your drinks!!! First, this place wasn’t busy, in fact I didn’t see any other drinks being poured. The guy who took our order was short and snarky with our inquiries about the wines and wine list, not warm and welcoming (ya know, basic quality customer service). And, for 10 MINUTES I watched our two wine glasses sit empty on the drink rail before receiving the pour! That’s faux pas AF!!! Then after being poured we waited close to 5 minutes before we received the drinks, from Mr. short and snarky. I can’t prove it but, I have no doubt the rude customer service and our prolonged wait for the drinks were related! Secondly, and I’ll admit semi-tedious, Sangria doesn’t get a 5oz pour, ya pour 6oz-7oz to compensate for the fruit! Will we be back? Heck No! There’s another wine bar right up the street.

My friends and I enjoy Reset. The food is healthy and delicious. The wine is divine from local wineries. The ambiance and customer service is fantastic especially during these awkward Covid times.

My husband and I decided to check out Old Town Folsom because we hadnt been there in quite a while. We loved it there for many reasons, but one of the best surprises we discovered was Reset Cafe. We enjoyed delicious sandwiches and flatbread. I also had a fresh salad with a very tasty dressing on it. We sat outside. It was so quaint and surrounded by merchant stores I had already been to. After sitting there a while a guy came out and starting playing guitar and singing. It was so cool! And the guy was really talented. I learned that they often have musicians there. I highly recommend this place. It has a cool vibe, great food and music!

I dont often write reviews however, I like this place. The Cafe is nestles in old Folsom. Pretty view, nice place for a stroll. The cafe decor is tasteful and has a unique vibe. Staff is friendly to patrons and its easy to see that they enjoy working with each other.So far I have tried the Blue Lace ( lemonade w/jasmine + some flower tea ) and their Vanilla latte. Both were delicious.

It was my first time visiting Folsom from the East Coast. This place was a total treasure. Amazing drinks, great food, and some of the best live music you can get. I hope to return soon to this hidden gem!

I love the vibe the drinks, the food, the ambiance, the location, the staff, the owners... Did I miss anything? I live 25 minutes away and I try get there absolutely every chance I get! The Morning Cookie its made with love and magic. I try to get one for my wife whenever I go in. Great entertainment, including John, the owner!

Really friendly and funny staff and a very spacious outdoor seating area set up. Had a nice little breakfast toast and walked to the Farmers market... Also saw local celebrity @winnie_the_potbelly_pig so that was a lovely surprise.

I really wanted to support this coffee shop but the policies seem to be pretty strange. My experience felt really uncomfortable.I came in and asked if food was served and I was shown pastries. Since we were quite hungry I ordered some as well as coffee.My coffee was not good and then I found out the had food. I then ordered avocado toast with only avocado for $11 and was brought avocado with toppings, no big deal we can fix this.When the new avocado toast was brought out the previous order was taken from my daughter.I am pretty sure that all policy is to NOT take back food from customers when the orders are mixed up.Sadly, I definitely will not be here again. Please review policy and customer service. They were kind yet not great at the customer service piece.

My husband & I like hanging out at different coffee shops on the weekend & this is one of our recently discovered faves. Great location on Sutter St (especially with the new extended outdoor covered seating), nice decor, delicious coffee. Also recently tried the yogurt parfait and it was great.

Reset is such a great space and my favorite coffee shop when rolling through Old Folsom. I have also had the pleasure of enjoying it as a wine bar and dinner spot twice, and I can’t wait to enjoy it more for its evening fun when babysitters are available and we’re not shut down so much.The drinks are beautifully made and always delicious. I love mochas and the ones here are the perfect amount of sweet and rich. They go perfectly with the fresh and intriguing morning pastries that are fresh each day.For lunch and dinner I’d recommend the chicken salad or one of the great flatbreads. It’s all local and delicious. I’m looking forward to when they are able to fully reopen and bring back their full menu because there is even more amazing stuff in store! Treat yourself and enjoy a personal Reset!

I have been here 3 times so far and have tried their drip coffee, their mocha and their saspararilla and enjoyed all of them. This coffee shop is now my go to coffee place in Folsom.

Best latte ever! The Almod blossom latte is a delicious treat! Not too sweet and just the right amount of almond flavor!Cant wait to go back in the evening for a glass of wine.

Love the vibe of this place! The owner and staff are really nice. Great place to grab coffee or a drink. They make their own Bloody Mary mix(so good). They also have food if you are looking for more. Their teas are perfect and refreshing when it’s hot out.

Most amazing breakfast and COFFEE!

The Cafe by Day is a great place to do while in old town Folsom. The atmosphere is great (my impression on what theyre going for is a fresh take on the old town Folsom vibe, very cool design), and the espresso was top notch. Ample outdoor seating for Covid times, with a friendly accommodating staff to boot. Its definitely a stop for anyone in need of a pick me up.

Delicious, fresh, locally-sourced offerings and a very clean and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere at this creative, family-run coffee shop/cafe/wine bar. During a time when many small businesses are struggling to make ends meet, I appreciate those that will not put patrons and staff at risk. If you want to support local and are looking for a classy, cozy, fun and friendly place to get your morning scone and signature latte or are going out for drinks and small plates but are concerned about the staff following common sense safety guidelines, this is the spot!

Cute spot! The ambience indoors seems like it was better pre covid. (But I have not visited pre 2020.) There was tables outside with live music around brunch on a weekend. Portions were pretty small for the cost.

Love the outdoor atmosphere early in the morning. Even without the beautiful lights of sutter street, this is such a beautiful cafe. And their scones were perfection!

An awesome new staple in the community and bar none, the best cafe Ive ever been to. Its such a interesting premise and cool space Id go for the atmosphere alone. But, also had an amazing latte and the staff was all super friendly and kind. Definitely coming back whenever Im in the area.

I had a wonderful hot panini, salad and beermosa this weekend at Reset cafe by day. It was fantastic to be dining outside, in the middle of historic Folsom, on Sutter Street. Everyone was so nice and friendly. The service was great.
