Purchased a Jeep Liberty from Bacons in Feb of 2018. I have been trying to get a title from them for two years and still nothing. They kept telling me they were working on it, but have now stopped responding to emails. When I call, the person that answers the phone claims not to work there. Hes so and so brother, but will pass on the message. I have finally submitted a compliant with both the BBB and MN State Atty. Stay away from this business.

I was impressed by the clean inventory dealership possessed.After thorough inspection I purchased 2008 Porsche Cayennein the excellent condition. Before they allowed me to take the SUV to my mechanic and nothing wrong were found. Next day after owning the vehicle, drive shaft center support bearing rubber surround has failed. Witch is very coming in these cars with this mileage. I didnt expect for dealership take care of the issue because I bought the car AS IS with no warranty. Not that they fixed it for me rigth the way, they also offer me a loaner car. Todd and Jake father and son are the owners and operators. Very sincere and honest people. Never purchase a vehicle from here, such a scam and screw you out of money! Bought my car a year ago there was a oil leak and shifting hard so they looked at it right away “fixed” the problem but still to this day does the same thing . Asked to buy an extra key and he told me he ordered it and that was a year ago and still no key . Before I bought the car the tires were so bald I told them I needed new tires put on before I buy and he said I had to pay the 500 for new tires they will not pay for them when the tires were so bad it was illegal For them to let me drive off the lot like that . I referred a friend to them because at the time I thought it was a good place and her car has been nothing but problems also and they won’t do a thing! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE, if you buy a vehicle from here it will be nothing but problems for you and you’ll have to spend thousands of more dollars on a vehicle you thought was suppose to be “new” and “excellent “ condition for 17,000

We bought a truck and the engine died after 40 miles. Own the truck for one day and its been going on 4 weeks and Todd had done nothing. I had spend $500 on sparks plugs and oil change. Then $150 to get it towed to a near by garage been sitting there since June 5th. Bad customer and ripping people off. He said he didnt have to replace the engine when the warranty is 3000 miles or 3 months. On the paperwork. Im having a attorney and going to take him to small claims court. We just wanted to our truck to be fixed or our money back. Also, going to file a complaint with the general attorneys office. The truck was $9000 and we are took a loan out, making a first payment and not even about to drive the truck.

I have been looking for a fairly rare F150 (long bed with extended cab) and I found one a 4 hour drive from my home at Bacons Motors.The customer service and honesty expressed by Ron and Todd was first rate. They definitely earn their Better Business Bureau A+ rating!Not only was the truck exactly as advertised, Ron and Todd were very open on the phone and in person about the work that had or had not been done to the truck. They also provided an AutoCheck.Upon purchase, I had the truck gone over from top to bottom at a Ford Dealer with no significant findings.Bacons Motors was very open to setting appointment times and even drove 30 minutes to pick me up at the St. Paul train station on the day I came to pick the truck up!Bacons Motors is one of those small town car dealers that really does understand that long term success means that you have to be honest and take care of the customer!I would definitely buy from them again in the future.

Horrible service. Called to set up a time to see a vehicle, the employee seemed incredibly annoyed that I had even called at all and wasnt interested in setting up an appointment. If I ran my business this way I would have a fairly empty fridge. Seems like your typical shady used car lot. I suggest looking else where if you actually want to purchase a vehicle.

Had a great experience buying a new used vehicle here. Jake answered all my questions and the process was easy. I searched their inventory on the internet and knew what I wanted to look at when I arrived. The vehicle was as described and the website provided a Carfax report. Pricing was fair and staff knew a little history on the vehicle beyond the carfax. The staff even went the extra mile. I highly recommend these guys!

Warning to other potential buyers this may be a theme with these guys. Car made it all of 50 miles before the motor started knocking louder and louder. All fluid levels were good. Drove it 1 more time and the car lost all oil pressure, overheated, died, and pushed coolant out the overflow all over the side of the road. Transmission had erratic shifting. Was firm on price and I now know why he was selling it instead of keeping it like he said he was going to.

Bought a 2007 VW Touareg with 119,000 miles for my fiance as a birthday present and wanted a safer vehicle to transport our 2 daughters to school and sports. It has had nothing but problems, mechanical and electrical. I have been in several times to remedy the situation and all that was said is you had your mechanic look at it he should have seen the issues Didnt your in house mechanic look at it before selling it? Less than a month after purchasing the vehicle it broke down and left us and our new puppy stranded in Scandia had it towed to a mechanic and it ended up being an oil pressure switch. Sold it to us with a Leaking oil pan gasket, intermittent electrical issues, EPC and check engine light comes on, hood latch malfunctions, faulty triptonic switch, vacuum leaks, sensors bypassed and hanging loose, now the Tranny is having issues and down shifting hard, all related to the EPC light. Ive been to their office several times since purchasing the vehicle to see what we could do to either repair the issues or trade the vehicle in on another more reliable vehicle. I was basically ignored, and treated rudely and told Id have to pay to have anything repaired when it was sold to me with the mentioned issues. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE when they wont even attempt to do whats fair or right.We also never received the Carfax on this vehicle to know the repair or maintenance history of it. Being I have come to find out after a multitude of electrical issues that this vehicle is part of a multi million dollar Class Action lawsuit against VW/Audi over leaking sunroof and faulty roof drains that cause standing water on the floor which is where the wire harness, battery compartment, TCM module and other important electronics are located and being we werent provided the Carfax We dont know if a claim was ever filed?

So I took 2 hits on my credit and didnt even get the vehicle! These guys are the lowest of the low and totally crooked. Terrible business practices. They should not even be in business. Bougth a vehicle from Bacon motor, the gas tank was on empty so I asked if he was going to fill it up? He said I did, what a joke. Also, he was also going to send me a check for my tax and title so I can register the vehicle. He never did either, I had to call and ask after the temperatry paper expired, he said he forgot. Dont buy a vehicle from Todd.
