Reasonably priced and relatively quick. also checks brakes for free
Went to Complete Auto based on a referral from a friend.Amazing service with fast turnaround. We brought in our Lexus GX470 with a bad alternator. Adam was able to get us rolling within 24 hours, was communicative, and reasonably priced. 5/5 will refer friends and be back myself.
I have a 2007 Nissan Altima, with electronic windows that had recently failed, (not a fuse item surprisingly)! I quickly realized the importance of functional windows with the summer of 2021, after another efficient and productive visit I left with fully working windows and door locks!!ThanksW&S
My original review is below however I wanted to edit and say that Adam held himself accountable and made things right with an apology and free oil change which I appreciate.Previous review: Not only was Adam extremely unprofessional and rude when I tried to speak with him, he didn’t even do the oil change that I had a scheduled appointment for. I came in the morning only to get a call later in the evening that he wasn’t able to get to it and the next available time would be in 7 days.
My daughter lives in Fort Collins and I live in Pennsylvania. Finding a trustworthy, honest, reliable mechanic remotely can be very difficult. As soon as I contacted Adam, he was all of those things and more. He was able to troubleshoot her 2011 Nissan Rogue, complete the necessary repairs and get her back on the road safely and within 48 hours. Adam was so great to work with and I have a tremendous peace of mind, knowing that she has a place to take her vehicle for future repairs/service. HIGHLY recommend Adam and FCCAR.
So Im on my way to work on HWY 85 and some thoughtful soul had dropped an item off their vehicle. Guess who had the good fortune to run into it, yeah me. This unfortunate incident damaged my radiator and air conditioning condenser and rendered my car useless. I have a BMW and was thinking, well this is gonna cost me! I called up Adam and explained what happened. I towed my vehicle in and he was prompt with an estimate. I dreaded opening the documents thinking, sorry son, youre going to have to pay for your own college, but to my surprise the bill was very reasonably and fairly priced. I authorized the repairs and even asked him to get my brakes done. The only delay in the experience was waiting for a part to get shipped. He had the vehicle repaired and back on the road in a few days. Im glad I was able to bring business to a local guy and get treated like a person in the process. From now on, Ill be bringing any repairs over to The Wrench and Socket!
My Ignition switch broke on my 1982 Mercedes 380 SL leaving me unable to start my car. I attempted to replace the switch myself but quickly realized I was in over my head. Adam @ Fort Collins Complete Auto Repair did an amazing job taking apart my dash/ instrument cluster to replace old switch with the new one. I am very pleased with his work and am happy to be back on the road. I will definitely be bringing my car back for any future repairs/ maintenance. Thanks Adam!
We had an alternator belt snap that attached to the AC, had to have car towed. We had a quote from Scott’s automotive, $1500.00 to repair. Found this business through Google . Adam, the owner, looked at the vehicle the next day, his total repair cost was $515.00. He had the repair work finished within 48 hours!! Seems like a very honest and hard working man. Would defiantly use his shop again!
Adam is an excellent mechanic and craftsman.I had a failed cruise-control battery on my mercedes S550. This was tucked away in the trunk of all places. The work involved electrical, venting, and alot of trim removal and was done professionaly and promptly at a value price. I recommend Wrench and Socket!Steve CUpdate:I had a level lift and upgraded tire size added to my 2008 landcruiser. Total lift of 4 front 2 rear. Replaced tie rods, the works. Adam helped with the selection of quality ironman struts. Great work, great mechanic.Riding high.and tight now.
This place is a hidden gem, not only did he change my U joints at a much more affordable price he did much faster than anyone else. Finally found my go to mechanic
What a great find at The Wrench and Socket right here in Fort Collins, CO. I brought my 2015 Honda Pilot in after doing a little bit too much extreme camping and off-roading for my family vehicle. Since I saw he had experience in both general auto repair and maintenance, and 4x4 off-road services, I figured it this was the place I needed to go.I had been hearing some unusual noises since my rugged trip, and Adam drove around with me to listen to the noises. He did a thorough check of the vehicle, and was honest with me when nothing other than a few small muffler dents were found. He was fast, reliable, and honest. Its often hard to find that in the auto repair industry. Thank you Adam and The Wrench and Socket! You will be my go to from now on for my families auto repair and maintenance needs.
Wow! This auto repair shop is amazing. I had the deadliest of alerts in my Nissan Altima: check engine light 😱 Knowing that this could mean I could be out of vehicular usage, I looked for a local out of Fort Collins that wouldnt sell me on other repairs I need. Adam was super friendly and got me scheduled within 24 hours! He told me it would take roughly 1 hour to get the diagnostics run and it was exactly that! On top of running the diagnostics, he called up a local Nissan service center and tried to figure out pricing for me to see how much the problem would cost to repair. In the end, he told me that he didnt want me to waste money if things were covered under my warranty (which they were) and I ended paying him pennies compared to what I could have paid. Adam, Wrench and Socket, thank you for caring about ME and MY needs. For anything related to my vehicles repairs or even an oil change, Ill be coming to you.
Good mech fast honest not gonna gouge you no b.s. repairs what you need only.
I brought my Toyota 4-Runner to The Wrench and Socket to have them look at why my check engine light was on and look into a possible fuel issue. They were able to diagnose the issue within a day (misfiring cylinder), and provide me a very reasonable estimate to replace the failed injector. In addition, they also provided an estimate to replace all the injectors, which I did. The work was completed in a timely manner and I could not be happier! My rig runs great now!
