There is nothing negative to say about this place. Ken and Calvin are great. I first purchased a car that had a ABS light on. They pointed it out while test driving and said they are going to fix as part of the purchase price. It ended up being a way bigger issue then first thought. So I got a call from Ken (owner) and he apologized and said they would refund me or they had just picked up a Jetta from the auction. If I liked it it is mine they would hold it until I could take a look at it. This car is for my mom in NE and worked perfect for her. The buying process was easy and paperwork made simple. This place is truly honest and doesnt try and pull one over on you. They value there reputation and appreciate good word of mouth. Small business like this are hard to come by these days. If in the market for a used car give them your business.

I found a car I was interested in on the carfax website, called and spoke to Calvin, came in for a test drive, and bought it. Calvin already took care of the emissions testing, got me a temporary tag, and ordered my new title. He also told us not to hesitate to give them a call if there were any issues. I had a wonderful experience here I bout my car almost a month ago and then a check engine light came on and Ken and Calvin were quick to get me the help I needed and were timely with getting the parts I needed to fix the vehicle and they repaired it quite quickly for me too. Thought about getting a Saab and looked on Craigslist for one. I got lucky as they had just posted a beautiful 9-3 Convertible. Even though it was the coldest day of the year, I had to see it. They had the car running and warmed up for me to test drive. The car was amazing, but there was a noise when going over bumps. When I got back to the shop, we both agreed that it was just too cold to diagnose with the 0° temperature outside. (the extreme low temps are prob causing the noise) I STILL BOUGHT THE CAR! Why!? Because these are the type of businesses you can trust. The owner came out and introduced himself and told me about the car and it’s history. He has a true passion for these cars. Purchased an 18 year old Subaru with 200,000 miles about three weeks ago and its been driving great. This is a great place to purchase a used car from. The owner and master mechanic Ken is honest and straightforward plus he really knows cars. During the test drive of the car we eventually bought, we noticed some minor issues. Ken gladly fixed those up for us. In April of 2019 (before the dreadful 2020 experience) I found Kens website hunting down the perfect car. Ive always wanted a Volvo and found a beautiful red V70 at his location in Fort Collins. I bought the car the moment i was able to drive it because it was an overall very nice match for what i was looking for and a fair price. Ken was able to negotiate out a little bit of work on the car before i picked it up and gave it to me in better condition than when Id even first looked at it. After some minor upgrades and some new tires it drives like a dream and gets a lot of looks. Youd be hard pressed to believe its a 20 year old car! Talk about outstanding service; Old Town Import Repair is most certainly where you’d fine it. I recently moved from California and had needed a vehicle within a 4 day time frame. I’ve worked at a dealership so I know a majority of the in’s and out’s of their shadiness unfortunately. I went to multiple dealerships and private dealers running into either low value and high prices, or deceitful individuals trying to make a quick buck from what would’ve been a terrible deal on my end. The most honest and skilled mechanic in the area. After purchasing my car from Ken, there were a few issues with it that he took care of for free, even though that wasnt part of the deal when I bought the car. I have been going back to him ever since and he always gives me a thorough explanation of what is going on with the car. Most importantly, if there is work that needs to be done on the car, he will always point out what work is not critical. There have been times where he could make some extra money by saying that more work needs to be done, but he instead will tell me that it can wait 6 months or sometimes doesnt have to be done at all.

I own a 06 Saab 9-3 and Ken is hands down the best mechanic who has worked on it. He really takes pride in and truly cares about his work. I had a knocking sound in my suspension I, and 3 other mechanics, couldnt figure out. In 2 minutes of driving my car he knew what it was and was able to fix it the same day. He also cleared a fault for my headlight and tightened a loose bolt in my door without me asking and with no charge. I highly recommend him!

Very honest and trustwothy place. Drove all the way from MN to pick up a 120K Saab and the car was as they described. They even put a 120K service before I bought it which was a major service interval. After 80K more use the 9-5 still runs great. Thank you Ken!

Ken and his crew are knowledgeable and conscientious. Ive had good experience with them over 13 years of owning a Saab 9-3. I want to underscore his TRUSTWORTHINESS as I compare my experiences with various auto repair shops and various vehicles -- Ken will alert me to potential upcoming issues with my car but there are no high-pressure scare tactics used to get more of my money, and I really appreciate that. He knows a lot about Saabs and has been great at dealing with quirky issues. I still have a solidly running car at 170K miles.

Some of the friendliest and most honest mechanics around. Ken has been working on my 1975 Saab 99 for a couple years now and it runs better than when I bought it (in 2007).
