I go here because its quicker and more convenient than walmart or another store like that. Today I was in here and opened one of the drink coolers. It was hot inside, and the smell was one of the worst things Ive ever smelled. I got a headache from it. For it to get that rancid it must have been going on for quite a while

The store is filthy. Employees sit and do nothing. They block both fire exits. They block multiple isles with their truck. Employees walk around with their stomach hanging out. The district and regional mangers dont even care. If I could give negative stars I would!

Prices are ok, store seems to be dark (bad lighting?) and the employees just seem to not really care about helping if you have a question. It works in a pinch because its close.

As of lately its been very busy. And only one person at the register. When I do go they never have what I need stocked. I know supply are still difficult now days, at least bring something else in to make a replacement.

Please have more than one cashier available! Had a full cart that would have easily paid for two clerks for 8 hours each. Got to the checkout and there were 12 people in line ahead of me.... wasn’t going to waste 20 minutes waiting so left the cart in the aisle and walked out. This isn’t the first time this has happened, please hire more people!

Easy to find what youre looking for.

I personally feel this new store is too crammed . I couldnt find the items i was looking for like i could in the old store. It seems dark in there too and no room to shop. The old store had more room more light and more product selection.

The cashier julie was super rude to me because she had to fetch a manager. Who was rude as well. I then was instructed to turn the bag holder and find and fetch my own items that I just paid for. Also it smelled bad in there. Use to love coming here but I probably wont return

This store is good sized not too much clutter in the isles

Little tight on the aisles, sometimes can get a bit of a line but its like most stores. Its guna happen. But its a good store an even cheaper prices.

I do like the store and go in every 1-2 weeks . The Dollar General stores have a mask mandate but not all the employees follow it, instead wearing their mask around their neck.

Clean and organized. Lots of home decor and household cleaners. Flip flops ice and ice chest. Great service!

Great customer service! The store is clean and no cluttered aisles! I can see products on shelves without moving carts full of merchandise, out of the way! !

Beautiful store and it has great selection at a reasonable price. It is croweded but look clean this time. Love the food selection. Staff there are helpful.

I figured going in to a new store there would be some slight clutter and mess. However I did not expect to stand in line for over ten minutes because the other store employees would rather be down aisles running their mouths about their fellow coworkers who dont want to do their job correctly. so while at least 7 customers were in line waiting for check out while 1 employee is trying to get us checked out as fast and efficient as she can the 2 employees that were down the aisles came up from and noticed the line. Mumbled some not nice words under her breathe and then put her happy face on for the customer she was helping. I wont go back if i do not have to.

Fort Dodge store was always clean because it was new. It is starting to become very junky and stuff isnt put away. Very disappointed.

Recently started couponing and its really annoying how I can not find anything to match the coupons on their app. Shelves are bare but there are a ton of boxes and things in the aisles. Very disappointed. Will be trying Webster Citys next time.

The lady who works there is so rude! She literally walked away when I put my stuff on the counter to get checked out gave me a nasty look and had someone else check me out but when I walked out she moved back over and was checking again. Absolutely rude!

Its a mess! You have to move large heavy carts full of inventory they have yet to stock but have just left in the isles. So shopping becomes a chore really. I did like the buy one get one free idle though which did not have any inventory carts there.

This store just opened, and was packed with beautiful things. Clear, wide aisles. I quickly found what I was looking for.

Today I went to buy something real quick I thought I knew where it was, but I didnt so I asked an employee and she didnt seem friendly at all she just pointed I had no clue where she was pointing. I just ended up leaving and went to a different store because the customer service was so bad I was very disappointed.

I let my kids go in this store and one of the staff members were really mean to my kids.

Its a dollar general what do you expect. Decent prices...new store is less creepy than old store.

Now that its under new management its clean no more boxes blocking items

VERY disorganized. Had totes and totes of marked stuff on clearance and they were labeled the same price, if not higher than what they would be in a shelf.... Too many products in the store. Hardly any room in the store to turn a cart without bumping into something.

A little expensive for some items

My visit was OK the door alarm was screaming when I pulled up which was annoying. This is a newer building, I dont think its even a year old yet. It is slowly starting to look like the old building cluttered. Must be a management issue for this to go over to the new building. It really should be looked into because it does discourage me from going there.

Its ok for your cheap house products like toliet paper, dish soap, ect.
