I love the salon. Leeanne is my hairdresser. She is the best hair cutter I have ever had. She always cuts my hair precisely the way I’ve asked. I never worry when she is doing the cutting. I also have had more compliments on the color than I have ever had. I used to travel an hour and a half each way to have my hair done. The convenience is an added plus.

I was looking for a new hair stylist, since mine previously one moved. I was recommended one at this salon. I have been going here now for over a year. My stylist is awesome. They are very professional anytime I have any questions. The haircut and color always come put perfect. I am very happy not only with the stylist, but the salon as a whole. Highly recommend.

Took my daughter for a haircut, she has poker straight hair. They cut it completely crooked. The bottom layer is shorter then the top.... and it’s all one length. If I can post a picture, I will. The stylist was rude about it telling me it would be fine, she did offer for the manager to look at it. He did offer to fix it but he had a nasty attitude. We will cut at least another inch off to fix this, so we walked out. At this point I could not trust them at all. If I can post pictures I will.

So I had called to ask how much it would be to have my roots done, I was told 55.00 by a very nice lady and set the appointment for next day, got their a little early and was told by a very snotty lady, who’s blond hairstyle was from the 80’s and she looked strung out on crack that it would be at least 75.00 cause bleach costs a lot, and she just argued with me and I told them I could just go somewhere else and get it done for 50.00 and she said maybe a school and I said no at a salon in bell tower aveda, and she argued some more I was like whatever maybe that’s why jc pennies is going out of business cause they hire unprofessional people

I came in today with no appointment not knowing what to expect. Julie took me right back and listened to every concern I had regarding the horrible experience I had at another salon. She did a fantastic job! I am very pleased with the way she was able to fix someone elses mistake without having to cut all my hair off like other stylists have suggested.Great atmosphere with lots of fun chatting! I will definitely be back to see JULIE!!! Thank you!!

I was charged $45 for my 6 year old daughters hair cut. The stylist did a great job, and my daughter does have a lot of hair. But all he did was wash and cut it and shes 6. I called and was told the prices online are not accurate and the stylist can charge whatever they want. Thanks for robbing me for a single hair cut. I will never return and highly recommend no one get their childs hair cut here unless u like to waste your money.

The salon nor the store manager Sandra could assist me with the correct/accurate pricing I was needing today. I confirmed the item was clearanced from another mgr, but no one could help me. Poor customer service, every time I called today. She said she would call the other mgr at the store that confirmed the item was clearanced, but didnt - instead, she called the salon mgr that was not helpful. They should take customer service training from Michelle and her staff at Coral Wood Shopping Center. Michelle & Joyce are AMAZING!!

Worst stylist, horrible management. Rude and hateful. $245 for a color and the stylist is rude and when management is brought in the pig blames my niece for the stylist comments. When I pointed out that the stylist was making rude comments about my niece when she didnt know I was with her he got snippy with me. The place needs better guest service and definitely better management. We USED to shop at JC Penny to the tune of $1,500 - $2000 a month. I can assure you after today that will no longer be the case. How dare that stylist say such rude remarks about anyones hair and person. How can a company have managers that treat problems like that as if its the fault of the guest. Definitely better salons for this kind of money!

They give great haircuts at a fair price.

First time I went I was lectured and harassed about how I shouldnt thin my hair. The lady tried to get me to let her chop off my under layer of hair instead. I kindly refused and tried to explain that I need my hair thinned because I need to fit my thick hair in a cap, as a hospital employee. Upon checking it I was surprised when I was charged $10 more than what I have always been charged in the past. I let it slide, paid and even tipped as I always do. I went back to another hair stylist in my home town 2 hours away. She thinned my hair how I liked and didnt complain at all. And charged me $15 less than the lady at JCPenny. Sadly, unable to drive 2 hours for a haircut I decided to give JCpenny another chance yesterday. The lady who greeted me was very nice and was very prompt. She led me to a male behind the counter and said he can take care of me. I said I need a small trim and lots of thinning as I was beginning to get migraines from my thick hair. He seemed to joke about how I was going to be putting him to work and that he might have to charge extra. I laughed it off. And said yeah its really unfortunate that I get neck pains and headaches because of the weight of my hair. He continued to joke rude remarks. I didnt realize how passive aggressive he was being. (My fault). I asked what the price range was. And he said he will have to START at $45 for a simple trim and thin. I didnt ask for a wash or a blow out. I was baffled. I said forget it. And left.I felt totally discriminated against in this setting since I have thick mid-length hair. Will never give this JCPenny another chance. So disappointed.

Walked in and was told to wait 15 minutes. They announced for someone to come, then someone else walked in..we both waited, then the stylist came in and took the person after me. I waited 45 minutes and finally walked out. They had no clue...will NOT be back .
