This place is literally disgusting, out of stock in every product and the employees just hang out all day by the register together instead of helping customers on the floor. They were cleaning brushes AND SPONGES seemingly to reuse them on customers, literally the dirtiest makeup store I’ve ever been in

Again just out of everything right now still not back to normal like they claim. Prices range from decent to very expensive and then you cant test anything or be matched at all. They cant even show you how to use a product you have to buy it and then they will at least let you return it for store credit or trade it for something else within a certain amount of time...

Really awesome sales assistance. The clerk swatched a dozen different lipsticks on her arm as I was describing the color I was hoping for. She was extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. I decided on 3 different lipsticks, and I am so happy with them. She also helped me find an eye shadow palette that I really like. I described a problem I have been having with applying my blush, she suggested a different brush and demonstrated the correct technique. I think the service was superior, and I am really happy with everything I bought. I asked the clerk when the least crowded time was, she said it is least crowded during the week, when they first open. Just FYI, in case you have a lot of questions like I did, and need the undivided attention of a sales clerk.🙂

This is the worst Sephora Ive ever been to! They are limited on every product that they carry. None of the higher end lines. And if you buy something and you need to return it - you cant return it at a Sephora it has to be at JCPenney. Because the Sephora is located within a JCPenney. It was the most frustrating horrible experience Ive ever had. I had some items I ordered online and wanted to exchange and couldnt find one item I liked at this location. I highly recommend going to the one at Coconut point then has everything. Or order online.

Now I understand after reading the reviews, I see this is a common problem. This store has absolutely no idea what customer service is, I walked in and there was one person on the register and on the floor. There was a lady training 4-5 staff, as me the customer stands and wait to be serviced. A customer should not have to wait until you conduct your training to be serviced. very unprofessional. Just incase you are wondering your standard is below average@ Sephora

The staff makes up for the small store and location. Candice is a doll and was extremely helpful. She listened and guided me to some really great skin products that I love. She also suggested some other items and provided me with samples.

Emily is a great example of what customer service representative should not be. she exemplifies the word bad customer service.. this is my wife’s second visit and both times we received horrible customer service. I guess we will drive to coconut point from now on.

This place should not exist, the people that work there are always so nasty and always follow me like Im a klepto, I could buy and sell each and every one of them 1000 times, and they have always seen me buy my foundation, primer and powder each time! With no discounts..... Yet they follow the one that is actually going to spend money, and let everyone else just Rob them blind. I just go there due to convenience and I hate my visits Everytime. And I work in the Beauty Industry and tell ALL my clients to go elsewhere. Theyre horrible.....

My daughter and I was in your store the evening of Tuesday, April 14, 2015. We walked in and was not greeted by anyone. We looked around the store for eyebrow filler. Using your testers, my daughter found a color she liked, but you were out of stock. She had to go find someone to help her. The associate gathered some eyebrow samples and started to show my daughter the application process. After doing one eyebrow, the associate went to answer the phone and was gone for 5-10 minutes. My daughter felt abandoned! The store was not busy and we were not sure what was going on. I proceeded to look for the associate, who I found at the register talking to another associate. They seemed to be looking up stuff on the register. We waited a few more minutes, then left because we were being ignored! We have shopped at Sephora many times and this is the first time we had been treated so poorly.

Theres nothing wrong with this sephora. Its inside a department store in a mall. Clearly you wont get the attention of a regular sephora because it isnt a stand alone shop. The person i had helping me was knowledgeable on the product and while the variety of products leaves something to be desired they have everything that i wanted in my correct shade. Id rather shop here than drive 50 miles to coconut point!

This place is always turned upside down no matter the time of day or day of the week. The samples are always super gross. I really try to avoid going here unless I absolutely need to grab something. They also just never have a lot of their top selling products in stock.Just go to a different store or wait the 2 weeks for your online Sephora order.

Id rather shop at Ulta! The customer service is awful unless you are already at the checkout counter. They are speedy with returns and exchanges. However, I rarely get help away from the counter! I have found the same experience with most retail establishments within this shopping facility and will NOT be returning to shop anytime soon.

A little mad i just took my wife in there and because i was wearing my work clothes im a construction worker they didnt even ask us if we were looking for anything or if we needed help so bad customer service and then get home and guess what finger prints inside a closed box of $40 makeup so check your stuff if you go there and make sure your dressed like you have money because i just spent 150 there to be looked at like i was going to steal so from now on i will be going to ulta from now on

I strongly recommend anyone against ordering from Sephora online. They have terrible delivery and cancellation terms. I ordered a mothers day gift from the site, they cancelled the order without notification and werent willing to do anything to expedite shipping once the error was spotted. Customer service refused to put a manager on the phone. The most laughable part is that their 1 day shipping ($17) takes 5 days. Stick to Amazon folks, they will get your packages to you in 48 hours.

The girls are super rude and inexperienced there. I walked in and asked for brown mascara and was told they didn’t carry any and that was it. I asked about a color corrector and they couldn’t even walk over and show me she asked what color and i knew nothing about cc and she did not care to help at all. Both girls were very rude and neither were helpful

One employee kept following me around Sephora because I was looking to see in the package if what I was going to buy wasnt switched with the tester they have out because they always have there abh eyebrow pencil display messed up, so annoying. The Sephora in Port Charlotte is way better!
