Had to replace the locks on our hurricane shutters which we were able purchase here.

We had Alufab do our impact windows and hurricane shutters around our lanai. The windows they use are Shwinco and are manufactured in Alabama. (The VP of Shwinco called me the day after the installation to make sure I was happy.) I have never been more impressed with the professionalism of a company and the quality of their product. The installers were meticulous and clean and fast. The customer service was excellent. Final inspections were done on time. I recommend Alufab and Shwinco without reservation.

I contracted with Alufab to install storm shutters on my home. The job was very challenging as we have a variety of windows and doors with decorative moldings that required experience, knowledge and creativity. Jack, and Marco worked together to come up with great solutions that proved to be optimum solutions to protect my home. Very detail oriented people, and both Marco and Jack followed up with me multiple times to make sure I was completely satisfied with their work. They were wonderful, personable, and neat and clean. Used them both times me moved.

While driving a truck and trailer in the left lane of the road, an SUV from the right lane cut in front of me to avoid construction area. To avoid a collision I had to slam on my brakes. Since I was already avoiding one collision an Alufab truck decided to cut in front of me as well. Barely avoiding an accident, I honked my horn. The driver stopped his truck in the road, flipped me off, and openned his truck door to initiate an altercation. I called their office and was told the driver owns the company and there is nothing to be done about what happened. Is this who you want working on your project?

Purchased home in begining of June. Shortlyafter that there was a storm brewing. We called and ordered accordian shutters. Iggy, the installer, was very prompt, and quick!! My shutters are a real blessing! They even helped us with some different ideas!!Very pleased with the work and quality of the product, not to mention the price was the best too!!

Just had 13 impact windows installed. First off Mark provided a very detailed and competitive quote from two manufacturers. Both quotes had more detail about the windows than any of the other quotes I received. I knew exactly what I was getting and learned some things along the way.Installation went perfect. the two installers that came out were very professional and did a wonderful job. They completed the install in one day and cleaned up afterward. The windows look fantastic.Great job guys.

Great company!Allufab has a long history of products and service. Just had electric shutters and slidersInstalled. I found the communication andservice to be polite, prompt and all workprofessionally done.The difference in this company and others is that they manufacture some of the hurricaneshutters in their own factory and can custom fit them on your windows.Call 6-8 months in advance before hurricane season after Irma there has been a wait list time. I found it was worth the wait .

I have used Alufab for two different jobs. I had accordion shutters installed and they did a great job. Then I had hurricane impact windows installed a year later. The work was a little sloppy and one of the windows wouldnt pass county inspection the first time. But it got worked out and all was well until we discovered one of the screens was defective and broke the first time we took it off the window. I have been trying since October to get a replacement screen. First they sent out a service tech, who took measurements and told me it would be 6 - 8 weeks. When I called back after 8 weeks, the woman who answers the phones (who is always friendly but NEVER calls back) told me that the worker had never turned in the information and the screen was never ordered. I have an email from December 20 saying they would order the screen - and as of today I still dont have it and cant get return phone calls. Ever.No one ever calls back. They are always checking into it. Bottom line - dont expect any level of service from this company after they have your money, so use at your own risk.

This company’s shutters and installation is the worst I have ever seen. I Ann currently putting munch shutters up a s their holes do not line up. The anchors have fallen out if the holes. I have had to place multiple new holes with tapcons to get these shutters installed. Absolutely terrible!!!! Steer clear of this product. I would have rather had no shutters at all for the aggravation.

What a great experience. We ordered all new hurricane windows and a new hurricane entry door. From part owner Marco, to Mark the sales rep. to Terry the office manager, Jorge and Jorge installers to Justin who came and did the finish work. Mark the sales rep. was pleasant and help explain the various differences in windows and window companies. He came to our house and then we went to the show room. Marco gave us a tour of their facility and showed us on going projects in their facility. Pricing was fare. We had 3 companies quote and found Alufabs quote to be a fare price from the ordering experience, quality and service we received. Terry took care of the ordering and scheduling. We ordered 14 windows and the door. When Jorge and Jorge came to install they were on time, courteous, clean, professional and efficient. What we thought would be a 3-4 day install project turned out to be two days. These two guys came too work. They both understand what needed to happen, worked to their strengths and worked well together. At one point they spent a lot of time on the entry door. Younger Jorge, said they take the time, to make sure the install is correct and never want to go back to fix something. After each window, they vacuumed the area to make sure it was clean. They cleaned up after them selves and when done you could not even tell they were here. Every company should hope to have two service guys who work well together and make the customer feel at ease. We were truly blessed to have these two guys work on our project. Terry scheduled the city inspector. He was pleased with the installation, said we got very nice windows and the installation spoke for itself. We passed inspection and the same day, Justin came by to complete the trim work. We have had much work completed on our home in the last year and a half. This was one of our most pleasant projects. I would recommend Alufab to anybody looking for new Hurricane Windows and Doors. Thumbs up for the professionalism, service, quality, and timeliness to complete the project. Thanks to all at Alufab who made our project a great experience.

They dont stand behind their work. Installed my shutters for the first time for Hurricane Irma. I am the original owner and the panels have been stacked in my garage since final inspection and CO. Had many problems with panels. Many tracks did not fit, holes did not line up. Missing several panels. Only provided less than have the wing nuts required. No idea how they received a final inspection. I called but could not get through prior to storm. I have notified them via email several times since the storm to obtain the missing panels. I have left messages and told someone would call back. They have not responded. I can not recommend them. I would give them less than 1 star if that was an option.REGARDING THE RESPONSE BELOW FROM ALUFAB - AFTER CALLING AND EMAILING THEM MANY TIMES - WE WERE INFORMED THAT WE HAD TO PAY FOR THE MISSING PANELS.IN OTHER WORDS WE HAD TO PAY FOR THE PANELS THAT I SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED DURING THE FIRST INSTALLATION.I PAID BECAUSE I NEED THE PANELS, BUTI DONT BELIEVE WE WERE TREATED WELL.NO MENTION OF THE WING NUTS I HAD TO GET MYSELF OR THE WORK TO GET THE TRACKS TO FIT.

Used my panels for the first time for IRMA. wall anchors were loose, wrong screws provided. shorted me a dozen wingnuts, obviously they never counted, must have supplied the nuts by fistful or maybe they weighed them!I called before the hurricane, was told they couldnt help me, called after hurricane to have the sloppy installation repaired, called 3x never received a call back.horrible customer service, find a different supplier

I called this company at 11:00AM and they stated a salesman would call me back shortly. No one called me back before the close of business.

Shutters were installed in early 2014 on a brand new house, Dining room window was on punch list from day one. Finally had to get another company to fix. They showed me how it was installed incorrectly (not enough room between tracks and slats) and Alufab kept on not fixing it. 5 year warranty is not exactly true either. Out of pocket now and had to deal with it for 4 years improperly working all the time...In response to the reply below from Alufab, just to clarify, my builder went back to Alufab to get the hurricane shutter looked at within 4 months of the original install because it kept jamming. The person from Alufab came out, and said you just need to tug on it once in a while to get it to come down. This worked until one day it released and almost took my hands off. The person was obviously not wanting to fix it. Last Tuesday (July 3 and 4 years later) another Alufab person came out and looked at it. He said it was not installed properly from the beginning which is what I was told be by another company also.The other company put the shutter back up the week before (much more responsive), and said after hurricane season they would cut the slats back so there is enough room for the tracks so they do not jam. Exactly, the same thing the Alufab person said last week. It should have been done in the very beginning!And that in a nutshell is how your company got out of providing warranty service. You tell the customer it is ok, until the warranty runs out. A not so nice way of doing business!

They measured wrong, had to re install lanaui windows shutters.Never came back for final inspection.The receptionist Terry is horrible . Shop around, Im sure there are better reliable companies out there.

Purchased electronic roll down shutters in Sept. In October, one of the shutters did not work. After several calls and missed appointments(they simply do not show or call), problem was fixed. The same problem has again occurred and have been promised that tech would be here this morning. I called and was told that tech misread his work orders and would be here late afternoon. I explained to please give me assurance that they would be here as I would have to change My plans for a Christmas get together. I is 7:45 and they never showed or called. This company has the worse customer service and I would not recommend.

This company has unbelievably bad service. The hurricane kits provided for new construction homes, were missing essential hardware pieces. When my neighbors and I all separately called to notify & receive replacements, Alufab reps. promised delivery of parts pre-hurricane Irma & never showed. No call, no service. When my neighbors and I called back again, they were gone.. closed up shop before Hurricane Irma. Unbelievable.

I was appalled at the customer service and lack of accountability with this company. The installers spoke little English and when I complained that they did not properly adjust my roll-downs leaving me with scratched material, they told me to contact the office. The office gave me the run around to add insult to injury. I would not recommend this company to any neighbors or friends. Truly the worst experience in home improvement since moving here to Cape Coral in 2004.

I purchased hurricane windows from Alufab. They are the slider type and if you are considering this type please know they are made to allow water in the trough inside your room. No one told me this until I had water across entire width of 93 and it still had not reached the openings on the ends to drain. It will have to evaporate or be wiped up. Alufab and the manufacturer CGI tell me thats the way it is and I have to accept that. If you are expecting customer service from Alufab youll be disappointed. I made 4 calls before emailing the salesman trying to get a response. Whoever Marco is wouldnt even bother to speak to me, he sent word through the salesman. This has been a huge disappointment.
