I am a contractor and I order my Windows through window world.. Although there might be a little bit of wait time on your order but it is because everybody is ordering from window world they have the best Windows and they do not only stand by their product you can also stand on top of them.

They were punctual with setting up my quote. They kept me up to date as far as getting the windows in. They helped me finance. The windows came in before expected. I got 11 windows and they were in and out in around 4 hours. I would 100% recommend Window World to anyone looking for high quality windows cheap!

We’ve been trying to set up an appointment for a window replacement quote for several weeks now with these guys and I’m really confused about whether they had a change in management or what. We scheduled an appointment that they cancelled 1/2 hour before because their sales person was “stuck in Tulsa due to inclement weather.” Ok…short notice for a flight cancellation when you had a prescheduled appointment, but we let it slide since life happens. Set up a rescheduled appointment and were told 10 minutes before the scheduled time that they needed to reschedule because of “an emergency.” Waited several weeks before to rescheduling for a third time hoping that any issues would pass by then. But then we waited all day for someone to show up. No call, no cancellation, nobody came, no followup, no explanation, and no apology.

Windows came in earlier than expected and they were able to get us scheduled the same week. Very professional staff at every level. They even framed a window not originally on the job list for the day. Great work and quality windows for an affordable price.

Windows were installed in Aug. in Nov. one of the latches wouldnt latch called many times since and have been told someone would come and fix it yet 5 months later no one has come. No service after the sell, after they get your money they are done with you. I was going to get 7 more windows this summer but not with them.

We had Window World replace all of the windows in our home along with the front door. The salesman was nice and talked us through the process from beginning to end. The contractors did an amazing job!! Other then obviously having different windows and new door, we couldnt even tell they had been there when they left. They cleaned up so well and was even careful not to let my cat out. Everything looks absolutely amazing! I will most definitely be going back to Window World in the future.

Weve had window world out 4 times to try and get these 2 casements right and each time they make news ones something is wrong with them. The first 3 tries the fitment was to big so the interior left window was near impossible to open the latch. The grids on each window have also been crooked each time. Since these are glass packs there is no way to fix the grids without smashing the glass. Is there not quality control at the factories where these are made? The 4th time they came out (06/15/2018; 3rd time 05/03/2018, 2nd time 04/03/2018, 1st time 03/19/2018) with the windows opening on the opposite sides, see pictures. The 4th time the manager, Justin, came out and said hed stay until everything was completed. Needless to say he left because he was needed at the office, but he left before I discovered the windows were incorrect for a 4th time. On my 3rd time they promised me a small partial refund, which I agreed to, if they could get the windows right this 4th time. Its been a few weeks with multiple voicemails and emails left for Justin and the generic customer service email at the Fort Wayne office with no return calls, emails and you guessed it....no refund check. I understand nothing is perfect in this world, but just try and make it right. If you say youre going to refund me, then do it. Dont leave a job site early, in my opinion it was left early because he knew they screwed up again and he didnt want to deal with it - since the installers are contractors not employees. If anyone is in the Fort Wayne area, I would be happy to have you send me a private message and Id invite you to my house to see the windows if youre considering purchasing.Window World - if you read this, please just refund me my money as youve tried to make it right 4 times. Lets just move our separate ways.

Such a simple process! I was formerly in the Commercial Construction Business and was surprised as to the efficiency and quality of the installation process. Very clean, exterior and interior!

We replaced nearly all the windows in our home in three phases. Both the salesman and install team were friendly and efficient. The windows look and work good.

My salesman answered every question I had. The windows are nice and my front door is amazing. I highly recommend!!

Great windows and installers

They were very nice and respectful and did not at all try to rip me off or sell me a more expensive window then what I wanted. They did not take advantage and understood that I was looking for the best deal and most definitely offered that to me! They had the window in in no time and was out the next day to install and did a wonderful job. My husband is not a super craftsman but he is to an extent and was very impressed.But the best part of them is the lifetime warranty no matter how anything breaks or even screen tears they will replace!!!!!!!!! I don’t think that part gets enough credit!!!

Salesman didnt explain anything, took 10 weeks to get, installers were 3 hours early (woke me up), installers were nice, but left a hole in one of the window screens.....

We are very happy with our windows. The pricing structure is very straight forward and was the least expensive quote we received. The initial in home consultation was low pressure. We purchased a middle of the road window that included the high efficiency package and are very pleased with the look and operation of the windows. The windows were ready ahead of time and a team of 2 installers, husband and wife, installed and trimmed out 18 windows in about 12 hours. Pretty impressive.

Sales rep Jeremy was on time, very friendly, and did a great job answering technical questions. Windows were as described by the sales rep and appeared to be of high quality when they were actually being installed. The installers did a great job with a lot of attention to detail especially regarding the final trim and insulating cracks.

This is a no gimmick place. If you need windows this is the place to go. I worked for a window company called castle windows. The difference is Window World is not going to try to reach into your pockets to see how money they can take from you. Another difference all their windows are backed by the good housekeeping seal. Castle you have to get a certain window which will cost you 8 to 900 dollars for one window, then you have to get a certain screen, latches, locks, and they charge for each of those items.

Have been waiting six months for them to finish job. Called multiple times and keep getting trying to get you on the schedule. Great window poor customer service. Been told owner was going to get in touch then another employee calls. Sorry I decided to use them a second time.

Im having Window World replace my front door in a few weeks. They previously replaced a window in my house. Reps and crew are extremely nice. Good, timely work and good pricing.

We are not happy about the way we were treated by this company. We had the owner at our house for over an hour. Very nice and knowledgeable about the product. Wrote some numbers down for the window pricing but did not give them to us to keep. Told us the windows are the same price everyday and they did not have crazy sales they were just an everyday great price. We went to the office to see the windows and they looked nice. We were ready to buy but could not get them to give us a price. We have left messages and our email address so they can send us a simple quote. We were told someone would have to come back out to our house and talk to us. The owner left no information with the office and he was back at his home in Kentucky (locally owned??). If the windows are always the same price why cant we just get the price for 13 windows and be done. We have already taken a day off of work the first time they were over. It has been over a month I do not think they are going to give us a quote.

My wife and I just had Window World of Fort Wayne install eight new double hung vinyl replacements in our home three weeks ago. We cannot say enough great things about our experience with Window World! All of our dealings with the company from initial quote to final install were of the utmost professionalism.We were a little skeptical after we received the initial quote which was a full $1000 cheaper than another window installer that is locally based. However, with having a young family, a thousand dollars is a heck of a lot of money! We decided to give Window World a try and are very satisfied with our decision. The windows are made in Pennsylvania. The prices are cheaper due to the enormity of the Window World company. This is a big box company with locally owned franchises.The windows took less than three weeks to arrive and the team was at our home two days later for the install. The three guys were very courteous, clean, and quick! They were in and out in about four hours. We have had some torrential rain storms since the install and I am pleased to say no leaks! We also notice our A/C is already running less than with our old windows.Highly recommend Window World!-Kelly & Stephanie

When it came time to buy windows for my home I called Window World first because I have friends and family that have windows from them. I also had 2 other companies out for quotes. For price and quality I chose Window World. However... when the truck pulled up with my windows and a 26 year old and two 19 year olds jumped out of truck to do the installation thought that I might be in trouble. These young men turned out to be the most courteous and professional installers that I have ever worked with. Inside and outside of my home were picked up and swept, couldnt tell that they had been here all day. I have 14 new windows thanks to them and Window World. My windows look great! Very satisfied!

This company has by far been the worst company I have ever done business with. Never again and I will never recommend this company to anyone.We placed our order in July 2018 for 3 windows and siding for the front of our house. We were told 5-6 weeks from start to finish. After 3-4 different visits in November to install the windows each time the window didn’t seem to fit. Either too small or too big. Miscommunication between the business office and the contractors has left us without interior trim for a bedroom because it was thrown away.We could not cancel our order to go somewhere else because we were told that they would take us to court even though no services had been rendered yet.Here we were in December 2018 after 5 months of waiting they finally sent out a contractor to install the windows and then 7 days later a contractor to install siding.Now we are almost into March and we still have no trim for the bedroom that they said they would replace.The front office staff and the regional manager do not look to solve problems they look to control when and where their sevices are provided. They do not care about customer service only care about money and their convenience. Still waiting for a phone call from Justin......

I purchased a home that had recently had its windows replaced by Window World. Knowing this, I paid the $50 to transfer their lifetime warranty into my name.The home is a rental property of mine, and my tenant told me one of the bedroom windows was failing to shut and lock all the way. I called Window World to schedule a technician to stop by the home to check out the window, and the woman on the phone told me we might be able to get someone over there in the next 3 weeks or so. I told her that there would need to be more urgency than that, considering the product that they claim to have under warranty is malfunctioning, and it a safety concern. She then took down my number and told me that a Supervisor would call me back.This was well over a week ago, and no one has bothered calling me back. They were more than happy to take my $50, and now I dont even know what I paid for. Their urgency and desire to actually honor this lifetime warranty are nonexistent, and they will only help if and when it is convenient for them. I eventually fixed my window through other means once I realized that these people had no plans to follow through on their word.

5 weeks from start to finish in peak season. Installation team was on time and very courteous. Cleaned up the mess and worked hard from start to finish. No down time, no breaks no complaining and very careful. I have landscaping all around the house, they were careful where they stepped and placed their equipment. Overall very happy with the experience and quality.

I ordered 6 windows from window World in Fort Wayne in November 15, 2017. Installation was completed Jan 10, 2018. I think the windows are good quality and the installers were professional and did a very good job. I gave a three star rating because I called the office 3 times and was told that my windows will be on Mondays truck. Then in the same conversation I was told they have no control over what comes on the truck. Just what ever the factory shipped. When I questioned her which way is it. She became irritated with me. I would not have been so irritated if I had been told the truth.

The crew that is doing the work on our house (replaced 11 windows, siding over the stucco) is doing a great job; they are careful to do the job correctly & not just rush through it, to get it done. They have had to work with some pretty frustrating stucco & in pretty cold temps, but they are still showing up on time & working their full time. The siding crew is cleaning up pretty well also. They are being respective of our neighbors parking space. Our neighbors have commented on how well the house is looking. One neighbor has even spoke with Us & the workers, about some repairs they need. Hopefully theyll give Window World a call. Last time we had windows installed, my nephew purchased windows from WW, installed them himself. We are on a fixed income, Window World is able to work with us on the cost, as well; which is a great help to us. Well recommend Window World.

Sales guy comes over, gives me a price......I was ready to make a deal. He then texts me 30 minutes after he left and said his boss told him he cant to what he said he would do and the price will be more. This seems shady to me. Beware of these tactics.

The product is great, communication and responsiveness are severely lacking. I had to call multiple times to get the installation crew to come back and finish the job I paid them for. It was pulling teeth. The owner/guy that sold the job wouldnt return my call, all of this went through the office receptionist which is very frustrating. Parts of the job that were agreed upon were argued and not finished on the first visit. They did end up coming back to finish, but it took multiple phone calls and nagging to get them to agree to do what they were paid to do. Would not trust them with any home improvements ever again. Very stressful process overall.

Very quickly responded to my request and then gave me an estimate the next day after meeting with me at the property. Ive used them before and was very satisfied with the work and the materials.

The installers bent my down spout below the living room Windows they replaced. They left trash behind and were using vulgar language. Not to mention they didnt show up on time. If I hadnt paid 50% down, I would have went with another company. I will not recommend using them to replace Windows. The Windows are nice.....not the installers.

I need to change my review. I had several issues with the permit not being pulled and then threatening letters from the city. I was even turned over to collections. They finally took care of that, but now there are issues with some windows and the city made me send a copy of the contract for their legal issues with them. I just wanted new windows

The most unprofessional company that my family has ever dealt with. It has been a year long process of us calling and them saying they will be out to finish up the job as soon as possible. Mistake was made paying them in full at the start. Still have two wrong fit windows and rain/mold damage due to the windows being the wrong size. Please save yourself time and money and DO NOT use these theives.

If I could give you one word it would be RUN!! If I could give no stars I would. This company may be good at installing windows for some people but I would NEVER use them for siding. Window World contracts out their work to other companies so you never know which crew you will get. We were told it would be a month from our quote til install. It took 3 1/2, so the crew was working in the freezing cold. Window World misquoted our job so the crew was upset they wouldnt get paid for the extra work they had to do and complained constantly about it. The crew that was provided to us was completely unqualified and the quality of their work was pathetic. Uneven siding, cracked siding, inproper j channel installation, damaged metal wrap, incorrectly measuring gutters and messy or missed cauking/window foam, and when we asked them to fix it we were told it couldnt be fixed or didnt have to. (They didnt want to lose money on replacement parts) Then we were called an expletive for requesting quality work and told we had to sign immediately so they could get paid or they were going to jail for unpaid child support. The work was not even done. These crews only get paid weekly so if you dont sign they have to wait another week. We were asked twice to sign when the job was not completed. We literally had to have the first crew removed because we felt threatened. They sent an Individual out to fix mistakes whose quality of work was still not up to standard. It took two more weeks of pointing out mistakes until we were literally so frustrated we signed just to get them off our property. I will say they did in the end attempt to fix or fixed most of our complaints. After 3 attempts to fix the j channel we came to the determination that the company was not capable of fixing it properly. They did not clean up after completion. Nails, boards, sawdust and old window components were left everywhere. I left a page long explanation of why I would never recommend them and received no phone call to follow up/apologize. Nor did Window World call to follow up if second crew was better. They had no problem running my credit card for the remainder without even asking to. I should not have to leave a review like this in a public forum but I do not want this to happen to anyone else. Please dont make the same mistake we did.

I ordered a window from this place on July 27 2015.I was told it was done in September and the installation department would contact me soon. after not hearing from them by November I called to see what was up and was offered an installation for the end of November.When they showed up the installer whined and said it was the wrong size!Finally in February I got tired of being ignored by these fools I asked for a refund of my deposit since they were unable to get the job done. The manager even had the gall to scream at me and verbally abuse me over the phone when calling to see what the problem was. Its now April and I have neither a window or my money!!! 9 months plus for 1 window how lame is that. Buyer be ware of these people. they dont even deserve one star.

I have used these guys on several homes and have always been treated well and delivered a great product.

This is my 2nd time using these guys for windows (I did half of my house at a time). Both times I was completely satisfied with the windows themselves, the people and how nice they were, and how well they cleaned up after themselves during the process. They were patient while my twin daughters had a couple meltdowns about the noise. And in general I felt comfortable having all of them in and out of my home. Definitely rec. Them and its nice that ive been able to do financing without interest if paid off in a certain amount of time! Worth the investment and my house is noticeably warmer and holding heat better already! (It snowed like 6 inches last night and they still came out to replace my windows :)) thanks again!!!

Would not recommend Window World for doing doors, poor service and they seem not too care about their customers. They ordered wrong size of one door, doors with missing parts, and poor installation of our front door. They dont even exempt to even call t h e customer with their issues. It was just so disappointing doing business with them.

We ordered 10 windows to be installed on a rental house. The salesman talked with us about the various grades of windows and thermal treatments available. The decision was entirely ours - he never tried to up-sell us. He did note that if a buyer would like the benefits of Low-E glass, only the window sashes need be changed and that is quick and affordable. Good point. The large window is 5 x 8 with opening sliders on the ends. The rest of the windows are double hung. Installation was fast and neat with no mess inside at all. The installation was not without minor issues. One frosted bathroom window was delivered clear. The window unit was installed and the correct glass pane was installed one week later. Since only the frosted glass sash was replaced, it took barely two minutes. All of the window exteriors were to be wrapped using the better looking style trim that they offer, but the installer used the standard flat wrap. My salesman learned of this and immediately ordered the windows be stripped and done correctly. Since the work was entirely outside there was no need for us to be there. WHAT A STAND-UP COMPANY!! Make promises and deliver on those promises. The entire job is exactly as promised. I believe that the Window World workers are doing what they can to earn their Better Homes and Gardens rating. I certainly approve of and recommend their product and workmanship.

Without a doubt the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my life!To begin with i ordered 12 windows, 5 came in the wrong size When the 5 were re-ordered, one came in the wrong size AGAIN!. I then ordered 4 more windows, thinking this was just a fluke, but no it was not, one of the 4 was not measured correctly AGAIN.The first crew was great, and did a good job. The 2nd (different} crew was a nightmare. I had asked them to put the old windows in back of my rental house They placed 2 of the 3 windows back there, but left the largest in front of the house leaning against a tree. 3 days later I received a call from my management company that they had blown over and that there was glass all over the public sidewalk, which I had to clean up. One of the 3 properly measured windows was not wrapped, when they left, and the crew said they would finish it when the last window came in.I received a a voicemail telling me that they had an opening the next day to install the last window. I was not able to return the call that day, and when I went to the rental house, was shocked they had been there, and installed it. They had gone to my management co. and got the keys. My management company did not know about the previous problems and gave them the keys. I NEVER gave Window World permission to access the house!The crew left a few broken shards of glass on the inside carpet, and outside too, and NEVER finished the previous window that was not wrapped!!The company the called me 2 hours later for final payment. I explained that the installation was not complete.,and that the work was shoddy. They told me they would check with the crew, and get back to me. 9 days later they called and stated that the crew said everything was completely done, and they WOULD NOT even send anyone out to verify my claims.As of wed., the 16th of Jan., 2019 I sent them 9 pictures clearly showing the shoddy work and the unwrapped window. Guess what....NO REPLY!!I hope that I will be able to attach the pictures on this review so any potential customers can see the quality of work done by the 2nd crew, and make up your own minds!

I have had my windows for several years and had an issue, but they got on it immediately and rectified the situation. You might have a problem some day but these people will take care of it.

I had the installers put nail holes in my house that need filled and repainted and he didnt care all he wanted was his money I told him I would paid after they fixed my house and of course they didnt so I called the BBB and now they are looking in to it. They also took out my old windows with a hammer....glass all over the place what a mess, in the flower beds and the carpet. the windows are nice but the service is the worst I have ever seen.Justin is just rude to customers. I wish I could talk with the qwner of this company.

Window leaks and no one will return our call. When looking to purchase response time was immediate now that the window is installed and problematic no one will return our call. Installer admitted there was a problem and would likely need to be replaced, said he would let the owner know. Havent heard back from them since. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Would not recommend these people to anyone I needed a replacement window that had to be ordered 3 time because they could not get it right when they came out to install it I was not home because they came early and instead of dealing with me they left the window on my porch

Window World Fort Wayne, not recommended!I was referred to WW (Toledo) by a friend; he told me how professional, courteous and they had nice presentation. So I called WW (Fort Wayne they are closer) and set up an appointment. Morning of the appt. while I was at work the salesman called and tried to change the appt to earlier but I could not leave work, no problem. The salesman arrived for the appt and was very knowledgeable but had no presentation, didn’t offer to remove his shoes and was a little rude. I liked the price and mistakenly signed a contract without researching WW Toledo (didn’t think I needed too)? The next morning I did just that, they seemed to be cheaper. I called and wanted to switch to Toledo, long story short FW called the corporate office and complained so I was stuck with FW.Installation Date:I got a phone call at arrival time from the installers and was asked to change the install the next day (Sunday)? I declined because I had everything ready that day for them to install, 3 hours later they arrived and got right to work. I was watching the install and notice my large 3 lite window was damaged. The installer said no problem we will get a new out as soon as possible. After the 7 hour install I just wanted them to be done and gone. I did my inspection after they were gone and I noticed a bad wrap job on 2 of the windows, windows dirty with finger prints all over, saw dust all over my house from the removal of a couple of the windows. So we had to clean our brand new windows and sweep the house.It took 6 weeks to receive my replacement window and I received my first bill 2 weeks after the install, by the way I have figured out hey have signed me up for the wrong financing and my bill is twice what the salesman had told me!!!So……..Horrible experience with Window World Fort Wayne and I will not be giving any referrals for these guys!!!
