Came in with my niece cause we needed wig caps. Ended up buying 4+ wigs! Place is clean, and the staff was AWESOME and pleasant. Definitely recommend! They have pretty much everything for beauty needs. Make up, hair, jewelry etc etc I had to leave cause I wouldve spent more money! Now I know where to stop at when Im in town visiting my family! :)

They are rude (yelled at a lady for trying on a shirt over her clothes) and selective on who they will sell 1/2 bags to. I am looking at half bags on the wall and they told me I had to purchase 2 full bags instead of 1.5 as usual.

Wig selections need work but its clean, always fully stocked and they dont follow you around the store watching you. I like it and have been going here for years, even before they moved.

Friendly service behind the counter on the day that I went this last visit on January 26th. I have experienced unfriendly service in the store in the past but see there was a definite difference. Everyone there was very pleasant and I was able to purchase everything that I needed.

I went in with my 16 year old granddaughter on her birthday looking for some nail items. Not only did I find the nail items I found out that they have makeup that she can wear for sensitive skin magnetic lashes great hair reasonable prices. And not bad with hospitality.. one complaint is the parking lot need handicap accessible more

Horrible customer service!! Tried to exchange an unused expensive product that ended up just not being the right product for my hair and they would not exchange the item. I had to open the package to actually see the product to judge properly if it would work in my hair and it was not. I neatly placed the product back in the original packaging (minus the factory twist ties/rubber bands) and they would still not let me return them. I didnt even want a refund, I wanted to simply exchange the item for something different that worked for my hair and the manager was extremely rude and would not let me exchange the item. I will never shop at this place again.

Unethical and dishonest business practices. They are splitting and repackaging the braiding hair. You are paying full price for a NOT even half bag of hair. I’ve shopped with them for years but due to this they will never again see another dime of my money. SHOP BLACK OWNED or find a decent place online to shop. Avoid giving these con men and women your money. Period!!!!

My wife was in need of a few products and I need my hair gel and sure enough they had exactly what was needed. The two cashiers on duty were so helpful and polite as well.

Walked in, no greeting and I was 1 of 4 or 5 patrons. However, the store was neat and they do have a variety. But, when I did check out, the lady was nice.

Store worker were very nice and courteous when I needed her for something she was right there to help out with a smile.

This establishment is one of the most racist, rude & unprofessional businesses I’ve been to. They want your money but refuse to treat you like a paying customer. They are in a black community where they know it serves their business best & know most will return no matter how poorly they treat them. I really wish more African Americans knew their buying power & stop shopping at their store for 60 days so that it would send a message that we will no tolerate the type of behavior I’ve seen them display on several occasions. It would truly impact their wallets.

Ive been coming to Gigis since they were in their old location, so approximately 15yrs. The service has always been superb and the products are great. The staff has always been extremely helpful in assisting me with different product questions which Ive had little to no knowledge about. I rely heavily on their expertise and experience when choosing products from lashes to hair products. Thank you for supporting our community.

A very pleasant visit! The assistant in the wig area was very helpful and sweet as well as the customer service I received when I checked out!!! The policy to try on wigs is to purchase a wig cap, which I did. The policy is also to return the dollar, when you buy a wig, which I did not know until the assistant in the wig area gave it back to me!!! Her actions spoke volumes and I will return!!!!Thank you!!!

Id give Zero stars if I could, but for the sake of this much needed review Ill suck it up.Just left the store Feb. 24, 2018 4:55pm. I will never ever EVERRRR come back. Ive been here twice and it seems like both times I gotten the same treatment where they dont care about you, roll their eyes at you, tell you they dont have anything like what you want and that theyd have to special order it and that the only thing that they do have that matches your description is over $100. Yet when I walked around and talked to a different person theyd have it.Scenario: I walk up to the extension counter and I asked this older woman if they had closures, she hands me a $30 pack of really short hair and tells me that thats all she has for me, another woman just so happens to walk up requesting the SAME THING and she hands her a closure with really pretty full long hair for $15 and then comes back to me as if she didnt just hand this woman EXACTLY what I wanted and continued to tell me that she had nothing else for me. I mean REALLY?!Oh no, Ill never be returning to this shady place ever again. I refuse to give any money to people like this. Better off being a little bit patient and ordering REAL human hair online for less than $100 even less than $50. Save your money. Dont waste your time and certainly dont let anyone at this establishment have the opportunity of disrespecting you.

The prices are extremely high compared to other beauty stores and the customer service is horrible. They dont know about hair or hair products and the guy who is usually by the wigs follow you around like youre a suspect. Its convenient but Id rather drive farther and shop somewhere youre treated like a customer and not criminals.

They are RACIST and Ive stopped going to this place...I use to go here because it was around the corner from where I lived. When I also went to this place I also had the intention to pay for whatever I was buying and always did... ONE DAY ME AND MY MOM WENT HERE TO GET SOME HAIR SUPPLIES AND THE BIG ASAIN LADY KEPT FOLLOWING US AND KEPT ASKING IF WE NEEDED HELP. MY MOM POINTED THAT OUT TO ME THAT SHE WAS FOLLOWING US AND I THOUGHT MY MOM WAS JUST TRIPPING...UNTIL AFTER THE 2ND TIME SHE ASKED US AGAIN DO WE NEED HELP AND THEN THE 3RD TIME SHE ASKED AGAIN AND THEN SHE STOOD OVER US AND WATCHED US. AFTER THAT POINT I FELT STEROTYPED AND DISRESPECTED FOR HER TO THINK THAT SINCE WE ARE BLACK THEN WERE STEALING I PUT ALL THE STUFF WE WAS ABOUT TO BUY BACK AND WENT TO THE BEAUTY SUPPLY ON MEADOWBROOK AND NEVER WENT BACK THERE....NEVER STOLE ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE AND TO BE TREATED HOW ME AND MY MOM DID WAS PURELY UNPROFESSIONAL...SO FOR THAT IVE NEVER RETURN!
