I was recommended to republic alarm system company & no regrets! I honestly didn’t know where to begin with an alarm company for the safety of my family and home. They made the process a breeze! Cameras were up and installed by the appointment date. I’ve taken several trips & have access to unlock the door and such for my pet sitters! How neat! I’ve had a few sensors stop working, and a technician never fails to show up and fix it the same day! I’ve now added to my contract and have the system at my place of business! Highly recommend & very professional. Reading some of the reviews & I’ve never had the bad experience they’ve had. You have to learn how to be patient you can’t have things done with a snap of your fingers. Thanks republic alarm for always taking care of me!

Worst ever customer service. Really hard to talk to them. Do not respond to emails for weeks and calls routed several different person. Needed to discontinue service due to selling house, doesnt have any alternative or they did not let us know.Took forever to cancel it. No updates on the cancellation process after month waiting. Needed to call them back for making sure it is cancelled.Not recommended

This is my 4 year with them before they split up with the other business. I like them but they dont keep their word. They do have service man name Juan, he is very professional and kind. I would recommend him anytime.

Dealing with Sye and Brian has been very easy and personable. It feels like youre dealing with actual people as opposed to some big unwieldy company/call center. Our home had cameras and doorbell and security system all updated through Republic. Cant recommend enough!

Great local alarm company. My sales person was upfront with the cost and he got it installed the same day. The technician came within a few hours and got me hooked up. So far so good! I would recommend to anyone who considers an alarm system.

I Was referred by a neighbor when we were discussing our home alarm system/service and how dissatisfied I was with the company. My neighbor called Sye that night gave him my contact information and he promptly called me the next day. Within 2 days we were set up and working with 2020 technology and actually getting use of our system. Thanks again republic Alarm.

I have been with republic alarm for well over 10 years. Sye is by far one of the best employees this company has. I can call or text him at any time of the day or night and he ALWAYS response back. This young man is VERY knowledge of their different systems and packages that this company has to offer and you can tell that he truly cares about his costumers. Now yes, this company has had their struggles but I believe the same can be said about almost any small company trying to grow and compete with the larger companies. For the others who have had a poor experience with Republic, I would suggest working and talking to Sye as he has never let me nor everyone else that I have referred to this company.

If I could give this company less than one star I would. Unbelievable horrible service! They use sub-contractors who come out and represent themselves as working for Republic then after the song and dance they sell you equipment that is not even compatible with Republic monitoring services...so who or what is being monitored...NOTHING!! There is a completely different company that does the financial portion and my goodness get ready for the fight of your life to get out of a contract! The equipment is out-dated, the customer service is horrible, and overall this company is a poor example for any sort of peace of mind.

Republic Alarm did a great and professional install. The techs where on time and did great job walking us through how the system works. We couldnt of asked for a better service all around and great people on top of that.

This morning our alarm showed buttery low and I cannot disarm the system, so I called the customer service to get help. They are so fast to send the technician come to our restaurant to sovle the problem. By the way, the technician was so nice to change the buttery and update the system. Very good service!

Worst customer service ever, signed you up and then to sell your account to someone else that has the worst customer service than I do. System did not work correctly from day one, when they finally decided to send a technician out it’s $120 an hour. Don’t make the same mistake I made

Owner is awesome. I always get the help I need when I call. Been with the company for 3 years.

Been with them for about 8 years. Last summer they hounded and hounded is about our contract being expired and we needed to renew. We had some schedule conflicts but finally got together, they signed us up which took about 15 minutes and went on our way.Here we are December and we keep getting a bill from republic and from another security company. My wife calls them to see why we are getting a bill from them. The other company advises we are under contract with them until March of 2020 and it’s a contract they purchased from republic. They are very upset that republic signed us to a new contract during that period as well.Long story short republic is telling us all we need to do is cancel the remainder of the contract with the other company, when asked they say they will cancel for a fee. Why should we pay this fee? So now we have two alarm companies that claim we owe them money. Republic signed us to a new contract knowing we were still in the last one wolffish should make this one null. The other company is ready to handle this legally on our behalf.This is a long string of issues with Sye the owner and I will not get into that but we will not be customer any longer with this company.We don’t recommend them and their customer service is HORRIBLE.No return calls from the owner as to why we have this billing issue.

Unfortunately we chose Republic 3 years ago. It has been nothing but problems. Horrible service. The staff offers no assistance and it appears that is due to their lack of knowledge of everything. We held up our end of the contract for 3 very long years. I gave a 60+ notice for cancellation. Everything was confirmed. But of course, since this is such a poorly run company, it is not the end of the story. They continue to take out the monthly fees. You call and you get the run around. I am still dealing with the headache. Incompetence abounds throughout this company. Do not waste your time or money dealing with these people. Luckily there are several other options for home security that are more dependable and cheaper

Republic Alarm is a great local alarm company in DFW, they truly care about their customers and want to make sure they are happy with all services provided. If you are thinking about getting an alarm please see them and I promise you wont be disappointed. They made sure everything was correct before leaving my home and they are very helpful through the whole process. I loved that they were able to come out same day and get me all set up.

One of the single worst business experiences I’ve ever experienced. 4 months without a working alarm, 3 visits from service technicians to try to get it fixed. For the first 2 months of no alarm, we couldn’t even get someone out to take a look at the system or call back to tell us what was going on despite calling every other day. Now they won’t pass along information that could get us up and running based on a suggestion from a technician that has down work on the very same alarm systems.Do not use this company, they subcontract everything to other companies to do work for them. You’ll be waiting weeks for services to be provided and if you start having a problem, good luck with that. Better start looking for a different alarm company.

I would not recommend this alarm company to anyone. I was charged twice in one month and was told I wouldn’t receive a bill the next month. The next billing cycle the billing department charged me again. This time they said they would issue a refund but never received it. Then had the audacity to try and charge a late fee. Make sure you check your bank account because I know I’m not the only one they do this to.

Yeah, I don’t think that the ratings are legitimately true customers... I’ve been waiting for these jack holes to fix a camera, two sensors, and poor installation of their cables and box recorder.. for 2 weeks now.. not waiting any more. “Mr. SATISH” as he was the one that PROMISED to call me before Friday of last week. To see what was going to happen if they were going to step up or let me go without a penalty for breaking the contract for such disgusting service and installation. Never happened. VIVINT is the way to go.. call them to see the deal I got.. speak with “TANER” cool dude. “REPUBLIC ALARM” I’m still waiting.... OH, and I hope that y’all understand that my poor dog still staying inside because of what happened last week, SATISH! I would know what happened to my baby if the camera would be working properly.

After experiencing a few low battery signals, I felt that we needed to call the techs to set up an appt. I called after hours just expecting to leave a message and a follow-up the next day. I was happily surprised when the owner (Sye) called me back within 2 minutes of leaving a message. He was super helpful, friendly and was able to troubleshoot the problem with the exchange of pics and a walk through of the panel. An appt. was set immediately for a technician to come out and update my panels and replace any needed parts. Great customer service! I would recommend Republic Alarm to anyone needing a security service.

I’m giving 5 stars to the Owner Si and a Tech named Si’on. Those 2 are beyond amazing! Whenever I need them they are there for me with no problem or complaints. I love my alarm system, and I’ve been with Republic for 3 years now. On the other hand the office workers Tracey and Krena gets 0 stars. They are not people persons. Tracey seem to turn your concern to a personal issue toward her. I will continue to be loyal to Republic because of Si, and Si’on not because of the hormonal females in the office. A sales rep named Chad came to my door yesterday had a younger guy with him and told me all about there products and that they would be out here today to install the system and the number he left for me to call with any concerns is wrong. I called customer service and am waiting a return phone call! If they cant show to an appointment idk that I want them watching over my family and home they may not get me the cops when needed!
